“... Remember to drink water, Y/N. Do it every song or two, okay? It’s important to stay hydrated and take care of yourself even when singing live, especially since water moisturizes your throat and you won’t have voice cracks.” The young Korean girl smiled at you as she handed you a chilled water bottle.

“All right.” You replied while thanking her for the drink.

“And if you feel bad, it’s time to get off the stage, Y/N.” She immediately added and you nodded your head. “More important than dancing well is watching the fans and having fun with them and the music. Wave a lot at them at the end of the show, look at the cameras and thank them for coming. You can skip a few lines of the song in favor of saying ‘Goodbye’ to the fans or bowing down.”

You timidly drank water, and in the meantime your beloved stylist – Yeeun – improved your hairstyle and clothes. You thanked her quickly, focusing on Seeu once again.

“Y/N, on stage, always remember to keep the mic close to your mouth and your IEM monitors pressed firmly into your ears. If you feel that something is wrong with the sound system or your voice, tap the IEM, the sound engineers should understand it quickly.”

“What if my microphone falls out of my hands?”

“Do not worry about it. Pick up anything during the quieter part of the song or break between songs and smile to everyone. You are human and you make mistakes, especially unconsciously.”

You looked at your friend with calmness and gratitude in your eyes and body language. 

Although an hour ago you had a panic attack due to the increasing stress and stage fright, now you felt lightness in your heart and trust in the words of the fair-haired twenty-year-old. You took two steps forward and hugged the talented idol tightly and long, thanking her for her huge support and presence.

“Y/N-chan, I will literally be next to you. If something happens, I will help you and I will go on stage if necessary. This is your moment and your debut. You’ve got to give it your all and bring back only good memories from that moment, you understand?” She said a bit more calmly, with a slight smile and a wink in your direction.

“I see. I’ll do it!”

Idk about Mew but Lilys va seems to be inactive? At the very least her “official site” from Wikipedia seems to not be working (idk how many or teams use social media when someone’s not on your, but be nice to still be around, you’d think all the gushing Kaito va does about him would also prioritize Kaito nt, he’s basically free PR lol)

Shame sachiko wasn’t more popular despite some ppl complained about other vocaloids being too high pitched (and gackt has some personal issues but I wouldn’t be surprised if he just wasn’t interested/offered enough [tho feels like they should have ‘master recordings’ archived to work with him versus having him go into a studio or so])

I don't trust online activity too much, especially officially-managed websites. But also this is coping because I want a Lily update so so so bad. Also character-themed vocals have more incentive to divorce the VAs from the characters (the worst-case scenario being what happened to SeeU).

Around the time Sachiko was released, I kept seeing stuff about how she was hard to use outside her home genre of enka. Idk how true it actually is but the fact that there was that kind of discussion floating around probably capped her userbase. There's also the issue of her being explicitly based on a well-known singer probably coming with a lot of extra paperwork and red tape (thinking about all the other singer-based vocaloids as well... will Fukase ever see a significant update? Will hide and uekiloid ever stop being private, let alone get an update?).

I'm pretty sure Miku NT was based on recordings from Miku V2 or V3 so I don't think you have to rerecord for every update, but then again idk how V6 works in general, especially since it's more AI-based now. Gakupo V6 to go with Gumi sounds like a dream tho.

Welcome to ‘Music & Vocaloids Month��! Throughout April, I will be posting one scenario about a character who is related to anime/musical manga or is a vocaloid. Sometimes it will; one character x reader, sometimes two characters x reader, and sometimes several characters x reader. There will be fluffy, angsty, smuts, romance, sfw or nsfw ... It all depends on my mood. Also, most of the stories will be about a female or gender-neutral reader, because it’s more comfortable for me to write it this way :).

autor’s note: sorry for the two day delay... but i sprained my ankle. it hurts a lot and i feel bad mentally, but i take meds and hope it will heal quickly :( be careful everyone.

A loud sigh straight from the tall man’s lips echoed through the bedroom, and you merely raised your right eyebrow as you watched the slowly falling body; still slightly wet from a recent shower. A moment later you felt a weight on both your legs, and next you also heard the purr of your partner, who longingly snuggled into your warm thighs.

“...Rough day, baby?” You asked quietly, and your man only nodded, inhaling your pleasant scent throughout the bedroom; you smelled of lavender bubble bath, honey shampoo and floral body mist. It was the scent of peace and home for a young man who only dreamed of a quick return to you today.

“My father gives me no respite in the company. Since I became his right-hand man after the death of his best friend, he gives me more than he should. These are not difficult tasks, but sometimes I feel bad that I get so many orders and requests. I don’t even have time to call you or reply to your message.” He said sadly, and you only stroked his soft hair and the nape of his neck, which was tight in several places. “How are you feeling, dove?”

“I think a calm conversation with your father would be great, ‘Shi. Maybe ask for a leave of absence or suggest that someone be your deputy? Perhaps this will help you have less responsibilities and feel better mentally and physically?” You asked uncertainly because you did not fully understand the operation of serious and large companies, especially family ones, but you always tried to support your beloved. But he shrugged.

“I will talk to him later, I promise, Y/N. Right now, you are more important to me than the company. What did you eat today, how are you feeling?” He asked again and you just smiled.

“Well… It was mostly a quiet day, but our baby kicked me all day and I got a hard blow to the bladder today.” You groaned rubbing your stomach. “But other than that, I don’t feel any other ailments. I had supper recently and lunch before that.”

Soshi raised his head a bit, but he was still nestled in your warm thighs uncovered by anything. The pleasant closeness was comforting to you; you missed the warmth of your man since morning.

“I’m glad you’re feeling better, my beautiful. And that our little one is growing.” He murmured sleepily in his voice, and after a short while you heard a quiet snoring.

Your husband, with a slight smile on his lips, fell asleep on your legs, occasionally kissing them in his sleep.
