Sadly, the contract for @fordprfct has come to an end, and he has to find new work. (although 4 years for what was supposed to be a 1 year contract isn't bad - and they jumped through hoops to keep him when his former contracting company was rejected.) I've seen through his coworkers' reactions, he's VERY good at what he does. Jobhunting is much more unpleasant. He works remotely, and I'm hoping someone might know of an opening for him, so here's what he does. I can tell you, he picks up new software challenges like a cat going after tuna.

Hello, gamers! 

It’s been over a month since I submitted my short interactive fiction game,"Help Your Unexpected Ghostly Roommate," to  Untitled Game Jam #75. 

I want to thank everyone again who played it! I really appreciate it!

Since my time of writing the game, I am currently seeking remote/work-from-home game writing work.

it’s been almost a year now… is the bg3 fandom finally ready to talk about how gale’s “hubris” is the sole product of actively feeding his insecurities further and straight up denying him help & guidance when he was at his lowest and needed it most. it’s not one of his core traits and never was. he isn’t some closeted power hungry monster that is just waiting to be enabled. what he wants is admiration, recognition and acceptance. which is also what he sought from mystra before the orb disaster happened. he had no desire whatsoever to become a god himself or challenge her rule, he simply wanted to be seen as sufficient in her eyes (“to serve her better”). to be as equal as he could possibly be in a relationship with a literal deity. he has a deep passion for magic and knowledge that affects almost all areas of his life and enjoys the display thereof. he wants to be the smartest person in the room and enjoys when his work is recognized. he may be perceived as arrogant when it comes to his skill, but he IS NOT hubristic. it truly takes so little for him to be wholly content.

I've always found the idea of using lofty titles like Duke and Deo for baby names hilarious, primarily due to the beautiful image of little baby Warlord smashing mashed peas up his nose at the dinner table, but am I funny enough as an unimpressive 5'3" dumpster-diving transmasc to name myself something as cringingly, lavishly grandiose as "King"?

Wildbow Antagonists Ranked By How Good They Are At Basketball

11. Barbatorem. Carries scissors at all times and therefore not allowed to run.

10. Goddess/Teacher/Amy Dallon. I don’t believe the antagonists of Ward can play basketball.

9. Davie Cavalcanti/Laird Behaim. Both ordinary middle-aged men with a square build who were killed by complete physical wrecks on their last legs. I don’t care if they were driven by rage and adrenaline if you lose a fight to Blake Thorburn or Natalie Teale you’re not winning a basketball game.

8. Charles Abrams. Undernourished and ill as a mortal man; the only time we see him act physically as the Carmine Exile he wrestles a large centipede to a draw. Unclear whether this is impressive.

7. Genevieve Fray. Huge fan of performance-enhancing drugs. Will quickly pick up the game due to her melted and malleable brain. Undermined by only working out at the library.

6. Jack Slash. Just some guy, but in good shape from running away all the time. Does enjoy games; quick reflexes.

5. Abraham Musser. In good shape, can do magic, and they do usually have basketball courts at posh European boarding schools. Still kind of a loser but easily beats out Jack.

4. Coil. Famously seven and a half feet tall.

3. Conquest. Extremely imposing on the court but not a team player. I can’t imagine him jumping for rebounds or running back in defense. Likely crumbles against strong opposition but large and in charge enough that he could defeat any mundane team by himself.

2. The Infante. The tallest and most physically powerful character on the list. Knows how to lead a team. The tentacles undoubtedly act to extend his range and options on the court. People don’t know this but he used to take his large son Augustus to basketball practice when he was younger.

I think a lot about Leo’s tendency to push his way into the spotlight despite clearly being a natural in the shadows. Hell, you could argue that his worst moments are when he’s forcing himself onstage, and his best are when he does things no one notices until it’s already been done.
