big fan of neko atsume, im not really a gamer if i want to play a game its either some sort of mind game (puzzle/learning/building up physical skills) or i go pace around until i dont want to play anymore
but neko atsume is a staple along side pocket frogs, have nearly every added item on neko atsume2 rn, this includes remodels and wallpapers 😔👍 cant really capture neko atsume in a horse but i tried

Turns out some of them weren't#which just makes the localization funnier#Like. Grain of salt because I don't speak Japanese and rely on machine translations and friends who speak the language#But the really sus “receiving end” line was originally just. “Haha it'd be nice to be the one getting escorted for once :)”#I'm sure it's not an entirely indulgent translation but. Phrasing!!!#then there's the infamous(?) “I seek to have a relationship with everyone here!” where in JP it's clearer that by “everyone”#Orion means “every woman” and not literally “everyone”#bc JP Elly says “In your case won't just any woman do?” while in EN she just calls him shameless LOL#there's a few more#like the scene where Orion says “You're the first man I've ever wanted to protect” and Euden says “damn bro I thought you weren't gay?”#and he responds calmly like “You really are slow when it comes to these matters! I'm just saying you're more charming than you know.”#it's a letdown but it's kinda coy#meanwhile since JP has some extra animations#namely Orion jumping in shock and making a cringing face before responding#the No Homo vibe is off the charts 😭😭😭#and then theres that xmas seasonal line that's about picking up women ...when voices are set to JP.#The EN line is about being broke. For some reason.#But even with all that it's not like there's no gay subtext in JP Orion's dialogue. It's just deeply funny how the EN localizers went#Yup. This one. Bisexual. Agh I really used to not be but I think I'm changing my mind a bit on that. I'm gonna officially put out there that I'm fine with my warrior cats/other fandom animations being used in edits, as long as you credit me somewhere!
I still dont rlly want people to use videos about my OCs/fursona etc. in edits please!! and as always please dont just repost a large part of my video with a different song over it or smth lol

#its either ''something horrible that i never wanted to see and thats going to make me keep having intrusive thoughts for weeks'' or#''???? what the fuck''#just remembered todays dream: i was staying in a hotel or smth w my family and went i went to lie down on bed i saw that directly above it#someone had tied. animal guts to the ceiling? like. stretched it across#and it was dripping blood on me#i went under the covers and put a pillow over my face so the blood wouldnt drip on me and Cried#mostly cuz i didnt know who tf did that??? and then i fell asleep#the next day after i had woken up my parents were. taking it down. and whem they did a bunch of blood rained down on me#and when i started crying again i thought like. ppl used to try to make fun of me for using zoo tycoon as a reference for animal shit and idk man like.... the game is literally built off the idea of educating you, it literally has an encyclopedia that tells you not only about the animals but also about the plants too. yeah its a tycoon game but thats only if you focus on it in that sense, personally i dont, I've always liked playing it to learn more about the behaviors of animals. sure things are generalized here and there and not 100% accurate- partially bc it was made in the early 2000's and we've probably acquired more info since then, but regardless its still pretty solid and taught me a lot about certain animals growing up, which other tycoon games dont really offer... anything teach-worthy.
#all im saying is the things zoo tycoon tells me about animals and their behaviors- i can easily google and verify as true.#hardly is it off unless its espousing old data we now know is wrong.#and yeah the ai of the animals is gonna ai and act the way a video game animal would but like be real- WHAT other game pays that much#attention to detail on animal behaviors to even come up with a procedure they can all follow that while robotic and maybe timed too#well to be a little unrealistic since animals dont have as much of a routine like that- they still do all the things those animals do- just#on a routine instead.#i literally used to give so little of a fuck about the tycoon part of the game that i would just put a wall around the entrance and close#the zoo so i could make a wildlife sanctuary and watch the animals interact with eachother lol#it was fun. i also really enjoyed building their environment to be accurate#bc like- not only did it teach me stuff through the encyclopedia- but teaching me this stuff made me MORE curious so i'd seek out#more info. like its a good game and it teaches you p well about animals and is def a game that younger ppl interested in learning#about animals should check out. DEFINITELY a good start to get your kids into animal biology.#im sorry that yall are ig incurious and only ever played the game for the tycoon part but im built different babe#(@ the ppl who tried to make fun of me. yes also animals need more space lmao die mad ig ✌️only referenced the game bc it was#the clearest and most obvious source to me since the game tries to be accurate- but also i know its true from watching MANY MANY#episodes of those animal cop shows where ppl would hoard their animals and on those shows they'd talk about how much space animals#need. and if thats not a good enough source for you then it literally takes second of searching on google. all ik#is if a wolf needs a big ass territory to roam then a dog will never fully be satisfied unless it has that. obv thats an unreasonable#thing to expect ppl to achieve in this day and age- but the less and less you're able to get anything close to that- the less happy they'll#be. and ofc it depends on the dog and their size. which makes it worse when you try to keep a big working dog cramped in a tight space)

hey, recently i reblogged a meme that was apparently anti-psychiatry. that's not the message i want to spread to people at all. i have medically diagnosed depression and other disorders, and i would not be here today if i hadn't gotten therapy, and wasn't taking antidepressants. psychiatry is a very important field of medicine, even though i know first hand how frustrating it can be to jump through all the hoops and everything to get the right diagnosis, and the trial and error the find the right medication(s). mental health should never be ignored. please, seek help if you need it.

my most fatal flaw is that I love to build little model kits/legos/miniature dollhouses and stuff of that caliber but they 1. are expensive and 2. take up a lot of space I don't have but I just can't stop myself
I've been looking wistfully at those cute diy book nooks for years and honestly I'm very lucky that a lack of book space has been a sisyphean problem in my life because that means it's much easier to convince myself not to get them, therefore saving me money. on the other hand it's really depressing that I can never get one of those book nooks because every bookshelf in the house is too full, especially since I love books, like, in general and as an aesthetic, and a lot of them are book or wizard related. hell world
#me post#side note it's really funny looking at the wizard stuff cutebee has#they have 4 common room kits#there's flame common room: the red and gold one with a lot of emphasis on competition and honor#fantastic animal common room: the yellow and black one that's really into animals#nebula common room: the blue and white one with an emphasis on seeking knowledge#and then darkness common room is the least subtle lmao#it's green and silver and focuses on power and secrets and is in a dark stone area#it's all obviously based on hp but they made sure to change things just enough that it *isn't*#like all the animals representing the 4 different groups are slightly different#dragon instead of lion; rhino instead of badger; owl instead of raven; lizard instead of snake (this one's so funny what were they cooking)#and that all makes this so much funnier. this is BOOTLEG hp
