I don’t just make monsters in the game—I make them in real life as well! I’ve been working on my found footage feature horror film this past year and we just wrapped shooting last night.

I am so happy that we can finally move into post-production. Here’s a BTS chic monster shot. If this tickles anyone’s fancy, I may update with more shots or stills.

but I need someone to make a video essay about the bastardization of female characters and the woobification of male characters in media/fandom spaces

because I think it’s a really interesting subject that probably stems from biases that plague our society

from

“He’s such a silly little guy.”

to

Literally calling fictional female characters worse than Hitler or something

Like, I feel like people talk about specific characters but not the topic as a broader subject

I feel like there’s so much to talk about

but I don’t have the elegance, critical thinking skills, the experience, or consume enough media to talk about this

So anyone who’s reading this please, please make a video essay about it

Or make one arguing against it idk

The discussion topic of the day is what elements the Seed family would bend in an Avatar!alternate universe

Going by their color scheme/vibes alone, I feel like everyone’s gut instinct would be to say:

Joseph - Air

John - Water

Jacob - Fire

Faith - Earth

However, these alignments are my personal opinions based off of my own headcanons and perceptions (in regards to both franchise’s content):

Joseph - Water

John - Fire

Jacob - Earth

Faith - Air

I don’t have the spoons to go in depth on why I chose these right now (it’s 5am and I’m running on hope, dreams, and 75mg of caffeine), however I’d love to hear your own opinions. Do you have different opinions on the Seed family? What about other characters? Feel free to info dump your thoughts and opinions to your heart’s desire- there are no wrong answers here. Talk about whatever the hell you want. I’ll read it!

Bonus question: what element would your Rook bend? Mine would be an earth bender. 🫶🏼

The absolute chaos occurring.

I just crawled around behind platforms for 10 min reangling ground lights.

I am also the only one who is currently required to be at rehearsal who isn’t one of 4 dudes who just don’t know their dance.

We are also starting an hour later because it’s taking the lighting guy(who is so cool, he’s awesome. I want to be him someday) wayyyy longer then thought to enter in all the cues. 150 of them. Maybe not that many in the grand scheme of things but that’s a Big Number to my brain.

I’m also currently trying to figure out the fastest route from backstage to the lighting booth without running through the theater. Help.

I’m now calling this the curse of being competent.(aka, when you know how to do a whole bunch of things and can actually do them. And are the only one who can do some of them. So you end up doing all of them.)

Someone should get me take out I missed dinner. Help.(it’s fine I made a really good sandwich earlier.)
