George bent down on the floor of his bedroom, he looked beneath to bed and pulled out a box that had been left untouched since he and Fred opened up the shop before the war

he sat down and leaned against the side of his bed, opening the box and pulling out the book

he sighed before opening it, turning to the front page, the first day he met you

1 september 1989

Dear diary

it's the first of september, meaning it's the day Me and Fred go to Hogwarts.

Me and Fred couldn't find an empty compartment to sit at, and there was no way we were going to sit with Percy, or Charlie- as his was already full

but we Found one with a boy in our year, Lee. he's cool, he let us sit with us and gave us some candy- which made mine and Fred's nose bleed. I didn't think anybody other than me and Fred would care about jokes and pranks, but i guess I was wrong, cause Lee does too!

the train started moving and we waved to our parents. i think it was about five minutes later when i saw a girl walk past, still holding her bags and stuff, she looked lost

I opened the door and let her inside

she smiled and sat with us, she wasn't that interested in pranks, but she laughed at the stories we told her.

Her name is Y/n, and I have a feeling she's going to stick around for a while.

George smiled and turned to the next page, a year and a bit later.

December 12, 1990

Christmas is coming up soon and our friends are doing a muggle thing Lee told us about- secret santa

not all our friends wanted to do it, but the main ones like Y/n, Angelina, Alicia, then it's me, Fred and Lee, so there's six of us, even

I got Y/n, I still don't know what to get her, there was no money limit or anything like that, but I just don't want to get something too cheap- but that's probably all I can afford

she's a good friend and after the first day of first year, she's stayed by our sides, no one else let her in to sit with on the train but we did, so she stayed

I'm glad she did, she's funny. and as much as she says she hates doing it- she helps me and Fred with pranks a lot, mostly because she's smarter than us

I wonder if she got me for secret santa, the odds of that would be really low, but it's not impossible, i would accept anything she would give me with a smile

George had gotten you some candy from Honeydukes- and you, infact did not get him, instead you had Fred, to which you gave him a bunch of products from Zonko's

George flipped to the next page as he heard noise coming from outside, dinner was probably coming soon and George would have to hurry before he was caught reading these

November 28, 1991

My third year at Hogwarts started a few months ago, the Famous Harry Potter started his first year

my younger brother Ron is his Friend, along with a strange girl, Hermione?

her and Y/n gets along pretty well, i think they go to the library together

speaking of Y/n, we've gotten closer, she would have to be my best friend- other than Fred. Lee is up there but he's been spending quite a bit of time with Alicia, I think there's something going on there, but i don't really know

Y/n decided to try out for the Quidditch team, due to mine and Fred's encouragement, she's really good, she should've been on the team last year, she's a chaser, and she's brilliant!

she's got the latest broom and it goes wicked fast, sometimes in training, we'll just race each other, she always wins though, mostly because I let her but who cares, it's worth it when i see the big smile on her face when she rubs it in

Fred started to tease me about it, saying i'm being soft.

October 13, 1992

fourth year started last month, school is getting a bit harder.

Fred Invited Y/n over in the holidays, she stayed at our house for about a week, I was a bit nervous that she would be overwhelmed by our family but she fit in great, Mum loved her and said she should come over for breaks from now on.

so she'll be coming over for christmas this december.

she stayed in Ginny's room, although she snuck into our room to mess around with jokes before she'd actually go to bed, I think mum knew that we did that because she glared at us when we would come down for breakfast the next mornings, she wouldn't say anything, just put her hands on her hips when we yawned

she's really cool, she's really pretty too, i don't think i've ever noticed it before, but she is, and Fred doesn't mind telling her that.

I think he fancies her because they always giggle to themselves

I don't know why but I would always get this pit in my stomach every time I saw them alone together.

He talks about her to me before going to sleep in our dorms, it's starting to piss me off, it was getting annoying because I just want to go to sleep and he'd start talking about something funny she said to him that day and he'd just laugh

i cover my eyes with my pillow every time to try and block him out, though it never really works

George laughed at that entry, looking back on it now, he should've known what the feeling meant

September 5, 1993

we got back from Holidays a few days ago, Y/n couldn't come over because she went over to Italy with her family

she had gotten boobs and the tight low cut shirt she wore to the train station really left little to the imagination, I know I sound weird and like a pervert, I shouldn't think this way about my best friend

but I can barely make eye contact with her anymore without my eyes lowering to her chest.

she's stunning and everything about her makes my heart flutter now.

she also had a slight tan and her hair was longer, she's always playing with it and I can't help the way my mind begins to wonder when i stare at her

she's making my body feel different, the way she bites her lip when concentrating, the way her eyes flutter when she looks up at me to talk

she's using lip gloss too, one that makes her lips look really kissable

I hate to admit it but i sat next to her in class yesterday and my dick decided it was a good time to get a boner, as painful as it was, all i could do was push it down.

she had noticed my uncomfortable state and in her sweet, innocent voice she asked if i was alright

"you ok there, Georgie?" she giggled

I could only nod my head.

and as horrible as it was, later that night, when laying in my bed, I couldn't help but ease the pain to the thought of her.

I fancy her, I've completely and utterly fallen in love with her,

it sounds like its just because her body has changed but it's so much more than that

she is kind and funny and sarcastic. and beautiful, like HOT.

too bad she has a boyfriend now, he doesn't deserve her and he wouldn't treat her half as good as I would if I were hers

Fred found out, turns out he never fancied her, but he just cares for her, as friends.

Fred thinks I should tell her, but I can't and I never will

Update- she broke up with him!

George laughed at the update at the end, which was 2 months later and flipped to the next page

December 6, 1994

McGonagall told us about the Yule ball today, a dance

my eyes were fixated on Y/n as she sat down laughing with Angelina across the room as I stood with Fred

Fred told me he liked Angelina a few weeks ago and I'm sure he'll ask her to the ball

Ron got called on to demonstrate the dance and she whistled at him, making him glare at her, to which she laughed

when the class was dismissed, Y/n came up to us and started joking around

I couldn't help but notice the way she has the top buttons of her shirt undone, and her tie a bit loose

it was getting rather chilly and she wasn't even wearing a jumper

I asked her if she was cold and she shook her head with a smile

"I like the cold, George, you should know that" she giggled, nudging me

she was rather short compared to me, the top of her just barely met my shoulder so she always looks up when talking to me

I've also noticed she likes to roll her skirt up, so merlin forbid she bends down to pick something up.

she's also gotten a bit more touchy, not just with me but with the rest of our friend group

her hugs would only happen coming back from breaks and holidays but now she'll hug you almost everyday in the mornings

her hugs have always been nice, but the way I can practically feel her boobs pressing up against me makes it all the better.

most people I know already have dates to the ball, Fred had asked Angelina to the ball within the first few days of hearing about it

Y/n has been asked a few times but she's politely declined every one

Fred keeps pressuring me to ask her already and I strictly telling him no, she'd reject me like every other guy whos asked her, and then it would make it weird.

We're also doing another secret santa this year, I got Alicia

Alicia is...nice? she just has a really big flirting problem, and that's not with everyone, just me

she asked me to the Ball a few days ago, and as much as I didn't want to go alone, I still said no

She's not really my type, and as much as i try to make her stop flirting with me, she just keeps doing it, I speak for all of our friend group when I say it's annoying, and I know that because they've all said it

it's nothing against her, but it's just weird

and Y/n doesn't mind talking about it, making jokes and stuff

the only person i have ever felt something for has been Y/n, and I don't want it to be anybody else

George remembers that week like it was all yesterday.

George was sat on the Gryffindor couch, your head in his lap as you told him about your day

"but anyway, why haven't you asked anybody to the ball!?" you sat up, sitting on your knees next to him

"I- I don't know, why haven't you said yes to anybody?" George questioned

"I don't like any of them, barely friends with most of them" you shrugged

"w- well do you? like anybody?" George stuttered

George noticed the small blush rising to your cheeks

"uh- not really" you smiled sheepishly "you?"

George's heartbeat quickened as he grew nervous

does he tell her?

"not really" he responded, copying your words

"you should go with Alicia" you nudged him shoulder, making him roll his eyes

"merlin" he cursed under his breath as you giggled

"only kidding of course..unless you actually want to?" you frowned

"if i wanted to go with her I would've said yes"

you smiled

"it's getting pretty late, i'm going to head to bed" you yawned

George nodded his head

"alright, goodnight"

"night, Georgie" you kissed his cheek before getting up and going to the dormitories

George stared off at the fire as the kiss lingered on his cheek, making his skin feel funny, a good funny

a few days later, Fred pushed George into asking you

"just go talk to her, this is probably your only chance!" Fred whispered before shoving George into you

you stumbled forward and almost bumped into Angie, who had to pause her sentence

you looked back and saw George

"sorry" he apologised

you grinned and gave him a hug "it's fine!"

Angelina saw Fred look at her from behind and walked over to him, leaving you with George

you stared up at George to see what he wanted but he only looked back at you nervously

"is there something you wanted, George?" you chuckled

"I want a date to the ball" he sighs, finally saying it, knowing that Fred would kick his ass if he didn't

"I'm sure Alicia will take you" you smirked

George licked his lips and thought of what to say

"no- no ok um...do you want to go with me? no! I would love if you would accompany me- wait ok. I really want you to go with me to the ball...I- I uh-"

December 20, 1994

I asked her to the ball, after what feels like forever being in love with her, I asked her

Fred pushed me into doing it

so I did, I sounded like a complete fool and I wish I could've said it better, word it so I didn't sound so stupid

maybe if I did that, she would've said yes

better yet- I had also admitted that I loved her, that I have for a long time. I had gotten so nervous that I outed myself

she just stood there in surprise before I ran off in complete and utter embarrassment

December 25, 1994

I went with her, it turns out that she was going to say yes but I ran away before she could've said anything

she told me she loved me too, and she made me the happiest man in all of Hogwarts

it was the Ball a few hours ago, you should've seen her, she was stunning- a type of stunning that when you see her, you can't say anything out of shock on how beautiful she is (which I did)

I can't describe the feeling I get when I'm with her- or see her, but it's overwhelming

i feel faint now every time I see her

she told me she would go with me the day after I had asked her in that stupid way. that was when she told me she loved me

she actually loves me.

I don't know how I can manage to make her love me but I'm grateful- and cautious

what if I mess up?

Valentines day was 5 days ago, Y/n was obviously my Valentine and we had a great day, I took her to that tea shop in Hogsmeade she's been talking about for a while, if was very...pink and not the type of romantic that I like.

but she enjoyed it so I loved it.

we've been dating for a little over a year and it's great, I am absolutely in love with her and I think she is too

she's mad at me right now though

Today, at Quidditch, I beat up Draco Malfoy for bad mouthing, making Umbridge ban Me, Harry and Fred from the team, which is total bullshit!

anyway, I didn't get badly injured, Malfoy can't punch for the life of him

I only got a cut on my lip but Y/n yelled at me when walking back to the castle

I told her I don't really care I got kicked off but she still told me off, she's cute when she's mad

and I can't be mad at her for worrying about me, especially when she said I looked hot when beating Malfoy up

she let that slip from her mouth and hit my arm when I laughed at her

Merlin I love her, and I never want that to change, so just so you know. you are an idiot if you EVER LEAVE HER.

Fred and I are finalising our plan on leaving Hogwarts to start the shop up

Y/n knows about it, I've reassured her that we'll see each other, but I'm still worried she'll break up with me so I can focus on the shop

but right now I have to make it up to her for getting in a fight so.

she told me she wants to break up, she said it wasn't because of us, but because she wants to focus on our futures

I refused, it's the day before me and Fred leave.

I don't want to leave her, it feels like I only just got her and screw anyone who will try to take her away.

I told her I didn't want that and then it turned into a fight

she said she only wants what's best for us, but she is the best for me, and I will try to be the best for her

she left my dorm and I don't know where she went, but I want to see her, to tell her it will work.

I knew this was going to happen, but i didn't want it to.

Update- I found her and I begged her to stay with me, I told her that she should come live with me and Fred when she graduates and she didn't know what to say, she said she'll think about it

June 26, 1996

she moved in with us, she decided to stay with me and live with me, all her things are here now and she's in the bathroom right now, going through it and putting things in there, I couldn't be more happy.

I have the girl of my dreams to wake up beside me and go to sleep in my arms, forever

"George! dinner!" He heard Fred yell out before the door opened

"George..." he heard Fred sigh sadly

George felt the tears start to prickle in his eyes as he thought of you and how much he loved you

"I told her not to go...why didn't she listen?" George asked as his tears met the page from a few years prior, before the war

the same war that took you away from him

Fred walked into the room and sat next to his twin

"come on, I told you not to find this" Fred said, taking the book away.

You requested: Mistletoe, Christmas Baking, Fake Dating for a Christmas Ball, Secret Santa, and Being Caught After Slipping on Ice

Lilia Vanrouge

To prepare for the upcoming Christmas Ball that NRC was hosting for all the schools within Twisted Wonderland, you decided to join the baking team. You weren’t a total expert, but you could follow a recipe, and Trey was on the team, so you would have extra help. However, all hope flew out the window when Lilia joined the team as well.

It’s not just because he sucks in the kitchen, either. You had a huge crush on him, and often found yourself distracted by him in your classes. It was bad. Ace and Grim had a hell of a time teasing you about liking such an old guy, but you slapped them in the back of the heads, stating that you were simply interested in someone mature.

Anyway, the cafeteria kitchen was definitely very busy, bristling with life as you helped frost the many desserts that were being made. Trey made it clear to Lilia that they would be following the recipes given, and that there would be no straying unless it was deemed alright by himself only. Of course, he jokingly complained about it, but he decided to join you in decorating.

The close proximity was definitely distracting you, but it was the first time that you actually got to have a full conversation with him. Then, you both proposed an idea: after the Christmas Ball, the baking and cooking teams should do a Secret Santa. After the day was over, everyone gathered and drew names. You actually pulled Ruggie’s name, and you knew exactly what to get that hyena.

Over the next few days, everyone was bustling with excitement as they made plans for the Christmas Ball. People were planning to go as friends, some people were asking others out, but you were left on your lonesome. It was fine, though, as you didn’t really care if you went or not.

That’s the thing about the Christmas Ball; you need a partner to attend. Ace and Deuce were already going as friends, so they were out of the question. Jack did not want to go, stating that he had homework to do. Sebek didn’t want to go either for the same reason. Epel was assigned a partner from Vil, as he did not want him getting into trouble at all.

It was going to be just you and Grim, you supposed.

However, that changed when you received a letter on your front door step. The handwriting was definitely very elegant and fancy on the envelope, and you immediately recognized it as Lilia’s. Your hand started to shake as you carefully opened it, putting the envelope on the counter and reading the letter.

I have found out that you have not found a date to the Christmas Ball yet at this time, so I was wondering if you would be the one to accompany me. The young prince—young to me, anyway—has made known his desire to attend the Ball, and so, in order to watch out for him, I require a partner.

Your heart was shattered in the best way possible. You were going to be able to attend the Ball with your crush, but he was just using it as a way to guard Malleus. It was understandable, as that was his sole duty, appointed to him by the Queen of Briar Valley, but it still hurt to think that you were just being used.

To get a second opinion, you called over Ace, Deuce, Jack, and Epel, and they all told you that you should accept the invitation. What you didn’t realize was that they were all plotting something so that you and Lilia would definitely end up together, as they were tired of your tangents about him. They all, including Grim, actually, forced you out of the room so that they could come up with a plan.

Before the Ball started, the cooking and baking teams met up for the Secret Santa. From there, you all would just walk back outside to gain entrance to the main room. You handed Ruggie his box of donuts, and he immediately started shoving them down his throat. He actually cleaned up really well with his suit, and he made sure not to get any donut crumbs on it.

You were speaking to both Trey and Ruggie when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned to see Lilia handing you a present and joining the conversation. It was delicately wrapped with a ribbon placed on top, and the baker of Heartslabyul made a comment about how the former general could wrap a present with such precision but couldn’t follow a recipe. You slapped him in the arm, causing all three guys to laugh.

When you were going to open the gift, however, Lilia stopped you and asked if you could leave it here and open it after the Ball, as it would make sense then. You were a bit curious as to what he meant by that, but you shrugged your shoulders and agreed to wait. Then, he complimented you on how nice you looked this evening, making you a bit flustered.

That’s when Crowley entered the kitchen area and told you guys the game-plan. The ghosts that typically serve lunch would serve the food and desserts you had made, and you all would be getting extra credit for your work. He then told you that you should go outside and around to where everyone else was waiting, and you would gain entrance first along with the group who helped decorate the ballroom.

Lilia extended his arm out to you, and you placed your hand in the crook of his elbow, letting him lead you out of the kitchen and into the cold night air. Your breath haltered, your body trying to adjust to the temperature.

It wasn’t long until the doors opened and the setting-up committees were allowed inside. The Christmas tree in the corner was definitely very hard to miss, and it was so elegantly decorated. There were fairy lights strung across the ceiling as well as the walls, giving a rather romantic feeling to the atmosphere. 

The bat fae looked at the wonder displayed upon your face with a smile, and he decided right then and there that he wanted to keep you on your toes for your entire life just so he could see that same wonder.

Putting that aside, the DJ hired for the event spoke into the microphone, snapping you both out of your thoughts.

“Would all partners make their way to the dance floor? The waltz is about to begin.”

Lilia turned to you, making your hand slip from his arm, and he reached his hand out to you.

“Would you let me have this dance, Prefect?” He asked, and you found yourself nodding as you were at a loss for words. He led you to the dance floor, and his free hand met your waist. Yours met his shoulder, and you both looked into each other’s eyes. All the surrounding couples just disappeared as you both started dancing.

On the sidelines, Malleus and Silver met up with Ace and Deuce to set the plan created by the First Years in motion. They had mistletoe at the ready, ready to place it wherever they thought you might go. They even had a fishing rod handy.

Yours and Lilia’s faces were getting quite close as you whispered to each other. He revealed something about Silver in his childhood that made you giggle, but right before your lips were about to meet, the song was over. Your minds came crashing back into Twisted Wonderland, and you pulled away, making the others who were watching let out a groan of exasperation.

If you both kissed, then that would mean they wouldn’t have to do anything.

After about an hour of dancing, you felt yourself getting a bit hungry. Excusing yourself from Lilia, you made your way to the food assembly line, and you started making your plate. The food smelled really good, and you were excited to try the desserts that Trey helped make, as you knew he could make some pretty good things.

But, your thoughts were interrupted when you heard your name be called. It was a student from Savanaclaw, whose name you had completely forgotten. You felt bad, but that’s what happened and you can’t exactly change that. You remembered that he was on the room-decorating crew, though.

“I was wondering if you wanted to dance with me once you finished eating?” He asked, seemingly a bit nervous. Poor thing.

“Sure! I just need to let Lilia know! Wait here for me, I’ll be back in a bit!” You said with a smile, before standing up and turning to find your partner. It didn’t take long to find him, as he was actually right behind you.

“I’m afraid they are unavailable for a dance, as they are with me for the entirety of the evening,” He said, turning the guy down in your place. You stared in shock as the student walked off, tail between their legs.

“Lilia! Why did you do that?!”

“Because there was mistletoe above you and I do not believe that I would have appreciated you kissing them instead of me,” He said with a smirk, putting his hands on your waist and pulling you into him.

You looked up and lo and behold, there was a piece of mistletoe in the air. You looked around to see how it was being held up, but you returned to looking Lilia in the eyes.

“Aren’t you only here to watch out for Malleus? You haven’t been doing that this entire evening.”

“Well, that was only half of the truth, my dear! I actually just wanted to be with you. I’ve noticed you staring at me in our shared classes, and I can hear how quick your heart beats when you notice I’m in your vicinity.” That explanation definitely checks out, but you can’t believe that you have been that obvious. Your heart started speeding up again as you came to the realization that he was here with you because he wanted to be, not because of some royal duty he had.

That’s when you noticed that your faces were incredibly close, so you decided to just go for it. You closed the space and placed your lips on his, and he immediately started reciprocating. You heard Ace, Deuce, and Epel all celebrating, with Jack on the phone saying “FINALLY”. You smiled into the kiss, now realizing that your friends had set this up.

Once you pulled away, you were still smiling as you looked at your friends as well as Malleus and Silver, both of whom were smiling at you two.

A few hours later, the DJ announced that the Ball had commenced, and that everyone should start heading back to their dormitories. Crowley announced a few things on the mic, but you weren’t exactly paying attention. 

Lilia handed you his suit jacket as he led you outside, telling you that he would love to accompany you back to your dormitory. One of the ghosts that was serving dinner grabbed your attention by shouting your name, and he handed you your present that you had forgotten about in the kitchen. You smiled and thanked him before turning back to the fae.

“Can I open it now?”

“How about you wait until we get back to Ramshackle? I can see that you’re shivering,” He said, giggling.

So you both continued to Ramshackle. However, on the Main Street, the cobblestone seemed to be iced over, and you were not wearing the appropriate footwear to accommodate it, so you slipped.

Pedro A Bravo, Florida inmate 148701, born 1993, incarceration intake August 2014 at age 20, sentenced to life

Murder, False Imprisonment, Poisoning of Food/Water, Obstruction, Providing False Information to LEO in a Capital Case

When Christian Aguilar was reported missing on September 20, 2012, the police got in touch with the last person who had seen him, Pedro Bravo. In the interview, he claimed that he had been feeling suicidal, about which he went to talk to Christian. While they were talking, he mentioned that they had a few disagreements and that a random hitchhiker was also in the vehicle with them for some part of their ride. Pedro was asked to take the authorities through the exact route that he and Christian had taken the day before he disappeared. Pedro was then reportedly taken into custody for 72 hours to ensure that he was not a harm to himself.

The police interrogated Pedro for the second time to determine if his claims in the first one were true or fabricated. They noticed that his account of events had changed, as he even claimed that the disagreement with Christian had gotten physical after dropping off the hitchhiker that day. After four days had passed into the sudden vanishing of Christian, the authorities decided to dig deeper into the relationship between the 18-year-old and Pedro. They soon learned that before Christian, Erika Friman was in a relationship with Pedro. The three of them had gone to the same high school in Doral, Florida. Erika and Pedro broke up in 2012, during their senior year, before the former went to Santa Fe Community College.

Christian and Erika began dating soon after starting their college. However, since the three were friends in high school, the couple decided to keep their relationship a secret from Pedro. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a secret for long, as he learned about their romance through mutual friends. Enraged, he felt betrayed by Christian and allegedly devised a plan to get revenge on him. Reportedly, Pedro’s mental health was already in decline, but when Erika left him, it deteriorated even further. Using this as an excuse, he called up Christian and asked for his support in September 2012. Learning about these clear motives, the investigators delved deep into the matter to dig out evidence against Pedro.

Taking into account his lack of worry for his friend, the officers booked Pedro under “failure to render aid” and obtained a search warrant for his car. While executing the search, the investigators found dirt and limestone traces in the undercarriage and sent it for further testing. Aside from that, they got their hands on a Gatorade bottle and a roll of duct tape. The results mentioned that the residue was actually from Levy County in Gainesville. A further search of Pedro’s residence also led to the discovery of a receipt for the purchase of a shovel.

Moreover, a look into Pedro’s journal revealed his obsession with getting back with Erika and unfurled his elaborate plan to do that “by making Christian disappear.” He was swiftly arrested on September 24, 2012, and charged with first-degree murder of Christian Aguilar on September 28. As the investigation carried on in full swing, a discovery stunned everyone. Around 2:30 pm on October 12, a few hunters in pursuit of jasmine vines inside the wooded area of the Gulf Hammock Hunting Club in Levy County got distracted by a peculiar decomposing smell and stumbled upon a body that was buried partially into the ground.

Following the discovery 8 miles off State Road 24 on Parker Boulevard near Otter Creek, the authorities arrived at the spot. The skeletal remains and the clothes matched the description of Christian’s attire on the day of his disappearance. The authorities also recovered duct tape from where the 18-year-old’s remains were found, and analysts confirmed it to be an exact match to the one they had obtained from Pedro’s car.

While looking for a motive behind the heinous act, the authorities reportedly received another set of reports, which stated that traces of sedatives such as acetaminophen and diphenhydramine were detected on the Gatorade bottle taken from Pedro’s car. He, however, said he got the poison to harm himself. The police further confirmed that the then-20-year-old’s phone was pinged in the parking lot of Walmart on North West 13th Street for about hours on the night of Christian’s death. There were also surveillance pictures of Pedro buying a shovel, tape, knife, etc.

Furthermore, there were reports that the fluid taken for the test from Christian’s lungs indicated strangulation. As per the authorities, Pedro’s obsession with Erika Friman was so intense that it motivated him to map out a plan to take the life of his friend. They stated that he poisoned and strangled Christian around the Wal-Mart and later moved his remains to the woods, where he proceeded to dig a shallow grave and bury it into the ground, enough to hide it from the world. Taking all the evidence into account, the authorities expressed belief that Pedro had killed Christian in an act of premeditation. The former, however, said he wasn’t guilty.

Pedro Bravo went to trial for the first-degree murder of Christian Aguilar on August 5, 2014. Aside from presenting the evidence obtained from the spot where the 18-year-old’s remains were found and Pedro’s car, the prosecutors invited several witnesses onto the stand who testified that Pedro was obsessed with his ex-girlfriend Erika and had an issue with her relationship with Christian. When Erika was asked to testify, she referred to Pedro as “a sociopath, or a sick person” and said: “It was sickening, almost, just because we knew him for so long and Christian was his friend.”

She added, “This was a person we knew. This was intentional, it makes it all so much worse… A lot of it was his obsession for me, and how he wanted me back, and how he wanted to be with me.” In a shocking testimony, Pedro’s former prison mate stated that Pedro confessed to him about strangulating Christian with a moving strap in 13 minutes. After enough deliberation, Bravo was convicted of first-degree murder, false imprisonment, poisoning, tampering with physical evidence, and many other charges.

Pedro was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on August 15, 2014. Despite the verdict, he insisted upon his innocence.

This chapter is going to be a lot lighter with some fluff and sexy times. Our sweet Dieter is finally back home with his woman. They have some hiccups to work through, but overall, things are on the upswing. Talia has to put in a little work to get Dieter out of his head... for things. They will have an unexpected visitor that causes a tiny amount of drama.

After this chapter, based on my current outline, we will have one chapter and the epilogue left. I am not emotionally prepared for this, but I am excited for you all to see how the story ends for these two.
