EVIL MARK, EVIL MARK, EVIL MARK!!! I want to be coherent about this season but please picture me foaming at the mouth and running on the walls. S2 being what if Mark's just like his Dad? Insanity. I love this show. Anyways, AU where an Evil!Mark tries to make Our!Mark worse, and Our!Mark tries to make the other better. Something something confronting your idea of the worst version of oneself. Plus, tweaked black and yellow costume because I saw it and immediately went murder hornet lookin' ass and knew I had to draw it. Evil ass Mark. Horrible. I think he should be dragged kicking and screaming into redemption.

the ninth doctor trusted rose enough to believe she would stay with him after his face changed. and twelve took some convincing but towards the end of deep breath accepted that clara would stay by his side no matter how old he looked. but thirteen was so used to losing people. her previous self had loved clara and lost her, he had looked after bill and failed to save her, he had tried to redeem missy and (to his knowledge) lost that cause too. no wonder she wouldn’t trust yaz to stay for her fourteenth face. no wonder she believed she ‘had to do this next part alone’. she had grown quietly distant with the new knowledge that she was no longer even an ordinary gallifreyan, not something of this universe, but outside of it, alien even to the aliens. isolated and inaccessible, standing on an invisible pedestal her ancestors placed her on — a pedestal that more resembled a cage. glass walls on all sides like the forced regeneration chamber. thin glass wall between her and yaz now, transparent but too solid to break through. harder than azbantium when there’s no solid footing to stand on.

of course yaz would run when she saw her new self. of course she would leave. companions would never stay now, they would never fully understand. when thirteen said that she would need to do ‘this next part’ alone, by ‘next part’ she meant ‘the rest of her (potentially eternal) life’. it’s the classic gambit: push the one you love away before they get the chance to reject you. because they always will, now. either that or they die in horrible circumstances. better to flee like you’ve always done.

this is why the bigeneration was a narrative necessity, why the giggle was the perfect vision of a positive finale. the original version of the doctor gets to settle down with people that he won’t lose. people that he won’t turn away from. people whose hearts he won’t inevitably break. he’s sitting there in the back yard and he’s not going anywhere…

…yet somewhere out there in sheffield lives a police officer named yazmin khan. she’s not all sunshine and rainbows — all cops are bastards, after all. sometimes she takes her nameless rage out on a shoplifting suspect. sometimes she hands a parking ticket to a kid that didn’t deserve it. and sometimes she does genuine good for the community, sometimes she goes to the club and dances with strangers, sometimes she sits on the sofa and watches a documentary about space exploration and laughs at the painful inaccuracies. and many miles south, the doctor spends time with his family, but he’ll never get the courage to visit her. because she’d want to run away with him again. and he could never give her that, not anymore. anything but running.

yazmin khan loved the universe in the eyes of her doctor. oh, that doctor in the garden? the stay-at-home-doctor? he’s brilliant, but he would never be enough for her. his presence would never replace the cosmic vistas and myriads of stars thirteen gave her. and she’s never coming back

Or

2. Zosan is not hiding their relationship but the crew doesn’t think they’re together yet or thinks they’re trying to hide it

i rlly do like the idea that even if curlfeather was a lying scheming bitch she did have *good* intentions for riverclan and wanted to be a good leader, but inviting splashtail into her plans was her fatal flaw because she underestimated how ambitious he was

loved the new acolyte episode. the way it plays with the nuances in the jedi by having indara refuse to get involved bc she wants to do things by the book vs sol who feels this connection to osha, this fear for her well-being and feels that’s more important than any rules. both sides getting angry and paranoid and it leading to aniseya, sol, and torbin reacting emotionally & violently. sol refusing to fight korli because he KNOWS he fucked this up. sol willing to accept the consequences but indara, like sol & the witches, is trying to put this child’s well-being over some arbitrary rule. it’s so good and such a good demonstration of both how the jedi council works to stop conflict and how it is completely unprepared to deal with natural human emotion and error.

and of course, as expected, mae is not The Evil Twin. she sets the fire on accident, it spins out of control, and she’s held into this anger for so long because it’s a justified anger! has it helped her? no! but it’s guarded her heart against the overwhelming grief of losing her entire culture in a moment. and then there’s osha, who has no idea the events she’s set into motion - all she wants is the room to figure out who she is without everyone’s expectations weighing her down!! she’s just a kid!!!!!!

there’s just something about baela targaryen getting literally locked away in her room left alone on that island by all of her loved ones as they died or left one by one and then getting her first taste at freedom when Moondancer can finally fly and she could have gone literally anywhere in the world but she used her first and last flight to suicide rush an older larger dragon in the exact same way her father died from like 48 hours prior. except she lived because the narrative was not done with her.

Had to come here to share this random Beetlejuice dream I had last night 😂. Listen, I dreamed that I was watching Beetlejuice 3 at the movie theater, and that it was so bad, I was rationalizing it as "this movie got leaked, it's because it got leaked!" And I was sure of that, anyway, because I hadn't seen a single trailer or promo for it and also no one on Tumblr had said anything about Beetlejuice 3 being green lit. I also got to the conclusion there that they had filmed this entire movie secretly right after BJBJ.

Anyway, I don't remember exactly what was going on at the beginning of the movie to make me feel like it was boring and terrible, but I think it mostly had to do with the fact that Betelgeuse hadn't shown up at all. And I think Astrid was also not in the movie, or at least she was only in it a few minutes at the start. But, later in the dream movie at least there was something interesting going on. For some reason Rory was there and I think he was a vengeful spirit coming after Lydia now, so Lydia wanted to get Betelgeuse's help.

But! And here's the part where the movie was getting good for me, Betelgeuse refused to show up when Lydia summoned him. When Lydia called him, DELIA showed up, sent by Beej himself to tell her that he wasn't going to help this time 😂. He was angry that she kept backing out of their deals, and so he wasn't going to fall for it again.

Oh, in my dream you had to hold an object while calling Betelgeuse's name to be able to summon him, so Lydia later on showed up with a bunch of... I don't even know what those were but it looked like small boxes. Maybe matches? But they were larger than that 🤔 Soap boxes?? I'm not sure, but she had her arms PACKED with these things so she could try summoning Beej many times at once, so clearly what you were holding wasn't important, you just had to be holding something in your hands to summon him 😂.

And she started calling "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!" Over and over, with a lot of energy, she would call "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!" to get him to talk to her. And... I woke up right after he showed up!!! AH!!! I wanted to see what was going to happen 🤣. Because he was being bitchy, or more like, acting hurt, and was refusing to talk to her and I wanted to see how she was going to mend things between them, because, in this movie she really wanted to. It wasn't only that she needed his help, she also wanted to talk to him. And I'm sure I dreamed this because last night I posted about how I really kept hoping for the two of them to talk to each other in BJBJ 😂. Oh, by the way, for some reason Betelgeuse showed up in the red car from the model in the first film. lol
