I was raised in such a free and sex-positive way but alas complexes will find a way and my problem is admitting I have human desires means admitting to needing other people on some level and. well. I have issues. I'm making minuscule amounts of progress.

It reads:

"To my darling Star. In the quiet tapestry of night, where stars whisper secrets to the moon, I often find myself captivated by the thought of you. Your presence is like a constellation, bright and mysterious, illuminating the vast expanse of my heart. As a secret admirer, I confess my fondness for you under the celestial canopy, hoping one day our souls may intertwine like constellations in the boundless universe."

Astarion gasped when the letter fell out of the book he always kept in his tent. They were... going through his stuff?! Again, the words and the smell were sweet, but the idea of a romance he couldn't control... It horrified him. He had been unable to control who he had to throw himself at for centuries... so now not being able to control when someone was looking at him with such yearning, what someone unknown might be thinking about him.

He knew everyone wanted to, but he wanted to be in control of who got to imagine doing things with his heart or body.

He stuck his head out of his tent again, this time his eyes fortunately falling on someone eh was certain did not have eyes for him. He hurried toward Lae'zel. She might have been as thirsty as a vampire at a blood bank, but he knew she was the last person who would leave a secretive, heartfelt note.

"Lae'zel, darling! Your sword is looking sharp as ever and your peircing gaze is vigilant. Yada yada, compliment compliment. I need your help," he sighed. "Did you see anyone going into my tent in the last couple of hours?"

He was desperate to figure out what was going on... Whether it turned out positively or not, he needed some peace of mind.
