It wasn't every day Katie got to work dressed so casually: but it also wasn't every day Katie got to work outside of the Pizzaplex, and take Chica with her. Usually in these circumstances, the animatronics leaving the Pizzaplex meant that they were being sent out for intense repairs that couldn't be done in house. However this time it was more of a promotional stunt.

All Katie had to do was take Chica to the local mall and keep her safe, as an advertisement for the Pizzaplex. She was even given coupons and vouchers to hand out, dressed as a fan. That meant that, rather than her usually khaki and button up uniform, she was wearing jeans shorts and a black Mega Pizzaplex t shirt with a starry chain, black, distressed flared legwarmers, and a couple bracelets- including her glow in the dark one she made for herself when making Cassie and Gregory's as a child. Rather than having her hair up, as she usually did, she had it down, so Chica would see it at its full length for the first time since her employment.

Although now, she was waiting for Chica in the loading docks, rocking back and forth on her heels in excitement. She was introverted, but was willing to brave the horrors of human interaction for her friends!

You know, despite how overwhelming adoration can be sometimes, it was still nice. Even if he had to hurriedly find somewhere to retreat afterwards, he still appreciated it from the kids.

The screams of terror he sometimes elicited from fringe audience members were far more bitter pills to swallow. Especially when they were the birthday kid. Just. Single handedly ruined a child's birthday by just being there. Never felt great.

Monty checked out after that. Left as soon as he was able, even despite concerned protests and gentle offers of reassurance from Freddy. Or maybe even because of it. He just... genuinely couldn't hear any of it from Freddy, he just couldn't.

Monty trudged up to his usual place in Gator Golf. Thick plastic covered metal thudded heavily against the stairs and catwalk with every step, before he stopped right above one of his courses. And he just... stared...

... He wished he could take it all back... bring back things the way they were...

Bonnie wouldn't ruin someone's birthday. He couldn't even if he wanted to...

Monty nearly jolted out of his casing when he heard the familiar voice, heckles instinctively raised as he glanced towards-

"Chica- geeze...! Warn a guy next time...!" he huffed.

Though as her words registered, he... steadily softened. Even if he pointedly looked away from her.

"... Thanks..." he mumbled.

She wouldn't be saying that if she knew...

"Did Freddy sendja...?"

Honestly, Foxy knew she was probably worried over nothing. The treatment she'd been receiving here was far better than what it was in the past. She'd yet to have a particularly bad experience with being repaired.

Unfortunately, that didn't mean she was comfortable yet. She couldn't even really explain why she was so scared this time, maybe it was the way the technician tried to approach her, or the way they held the taser already out and ready to shock her, but it set something off in her: like some kind of memory from her past life. When it was dark and cold, when they took Freddy and Bon Bon away, when they tried to isolate her from the others. They'd mock her and shock her, misgender her. They'd drag her away from where she knew she was safe, they'd rip her out and force her back in again and again and again-

Her ears suddenly perked up when she heard someone's voice. Not Baby's or Ballora's, nor anyone else's she knew. Foxy's wires pushed against her face, trying to open the faceplates that were... no longer there. She probably looked far more like a frightened animal than a confident thespian. Foxy looked up towards the voice, and she sees the chicken in pink standing between her and the technician.

"Oh? Why's that? Oh wait- no, I think I know the answer to that." Katie joked. Thanksgiving wasn't exactly an important holiday to her. How could it be, when her family consisted of one other person and that person was... Carolina. Sure, she had a large extended family, younger cousins she hadn't spoken to since she was a child, but Carolina refused to go out of her way to connect with them, and it was... probably for a good reason, right?

Last year she asked to be put on the schedule, but this year, Bonnie was adamant on celebrating with the girls. Katie just couldn't say no.

Moon stared. "That... is a terrible thing to teach kids. If you make a mess you should at least try to clean it up. If you just leave a mess there... and you just expect others to do it for you... then honestly it's one- a waste of money- and two- it's likely that people like your grandma will still treating these people like they're their slaves."

"Ah- it- it was an accident, really!" He tried, but he knew how protective Chica could be.

Foxy was still shaking from it, admittedly. Every now and then, the roller skates get stuck open, leaving the white and pink fox to skate around as opposed to walking. That by itself wasn't an issue, but it became a danger when kids leave pencils won from the prize corner near some stairs. That's all it took to jam the wheels and send Foxy hurling down the stairs- luckily Chica was there to catch her, but that didn't mean it wasn't freaky.

The fox looked away, indignantly. It was a little embarrassing, both the fact that it had happened and how much it freaked her out. The last thing Foxy ever wanted was to get repairs, and it seemed everyone knew that. Her hands stroke her now long and fluffy hair, fiddling with the ends as if she didn't know what to do. Then, she turns to look Chica in the eye, puts her fingertips to her snout, and flicks them outwards.
