ellieeee i feel so bad for hearing that you think you don’t deserve the support and that your writing is shitty. i totally get that you may be very self critical because you put in so much effort and you want your stories to be good but i promise you that your efforts really are worth it!! your writing, even if you don’t think so, is genuinely absolutely incredible. your stories have so so much depth to them, the way you write your characters is so so consistent and fits the story so well.

for example in ch 11 when reader told gojo that he is totally allowed to be mad at the girl who randomly kissed him because he‘s not just a piece of meat to lust over and that he’s his own person. the way he was genuinely confused or shocked by this and really had to take a moment to actually understand this makes soo much sense for his character who’s a known player and it’s usually something to brag about if girls want a man and it’s never really acknowledged when it’s harassment (i mean sexual harassment is generally for both women and men often invalidated which is just incredibly sad) but i think in this scene specifically it was so important for someone to tell him that and it just makes so much sense for his character, like the entirety of the scene (but probably every scene you write makes sense for the characters, like i love your ideas and i love the way you put them to ‘paper‘)

another scene that really comes to my mind when it comes to the emotional depth of characters is when gojo was in a hotel room with reader and she wanted him to touch her but he refused. (now this is just what i think, not exactly sure if that was your intention) but i think that he sees sex with reader as so much more than just sex and he only would’ve wanted to sleep with her if it really means something but since he wasn’t really sure of his feelings, or rather his ability to commit and be a good boyfriend in a relationship (btw their convo in this moment before that is so so sweet i loveeee it so much)

also reader who feels really hurt by this, obviously because she likes him and he can’t really return her feelings the same way, but she also felt like she was rejected twice, since first her feelings were rejected, then her body and her lust for him. i can imagine that the second time might’ve actually hurt a little more since gojo is such a player and pretty sex-driven at times, so that he wouldn’t want this from her, despite having done similar things with her prior, must’ve made her realize that he’s actually serious about not wanting her (well we know he does but ykwim). not to mention that her hope of something happening between them was increased by him saving her and letting her in his room, them sharing a bed and having this vulnerable conversation where they also bonded even more, so him rejecting her then must’ve been really harsh for her, but in turn sooo important for him and his character development, that he genuinely cares about her and all ughhhh i love it

there‘s so much more i could mention too but those were the moments that came to mind first (and i actually sort of managed to put into words). your writing is truly truly so beautiful even if maybe i didn’t understand it the way you intended it to be, reading the story alone, even the parts that are just clearly written and don’t need any interpretation because you stated it directly are just so so good. please don’t let rude people and people who only want smut bring your mood down, there are people like that and it’s sad and frustrating but i promise there are so many people who love your writing just for what it is. i will always always continue to cherish your stories smut or not. even if i don’t think that annon meant to be rude, it’s definitely disrespectful to your work. if someone wants to read smut, i don’t see why they’d ask you and not just look up another fic. there’s literally endless ones. i hope these comments don’t affect you so much because they shouldn’t even be talking in the first place, hiding behind annon. but anyways yeah i‘m really really really sorry for any rude asks you get and that you feel that way about your writing. you were the first person i followed on tumblr btw and also the first person to make me really interested in reading fanfics :)). you do deserve all the love and support especially because you’re doing this all for free and you’re actually really nice and funny in your asks, so you seem like a cool person aside from your stories!!! you’re amazing mwahhhh

omg sobs tysm for thinking deeply of those scenes in kickoff 😭 yes i totally agree w you, sexual harassment is often overlooked in men because they are expected to enjoy all interaction w women, but it’s societal misguided thinkings. i was really really really hesitant and nervous to include that scene in the chapter, i was almost too worried that it would be too “serious” or “unnecessary” but i knew when i first drafted that scene that it was something i wanted to include n make important to his character, it just made sense to me that he’d been taught to appeal to others rather than protect his own interests due to peer sexual expectations as a man or the resident “hot guy” or whatever…but i felt it’d be important for him to realize it and also sweet for reader to be the one to shed light on it!! it means so much to me that you’ve reflected so positively on it and it gives me bravery in my writing :””)

also, your interpretation of the scene in ch8 where gojo declines to touch reader is the best insight i think i’ve received on that scene. like, you’ve made me realize things about the scene that even i didn’t really understand or like i kinda knew but wasn’t sure how to put into words 😂 😂 i like audibly gasped when i read it LOLOL. the part where you mentioned the distinction of hurt between her feelings getting rejected vs her offer of sex also being rejected was so like idk it was just perfectly said. i think, in a way, her feelings being rejected may have hurt less, because she knows that he’s emotionally detached and therefore it’s nothing personal. although it still hurts, i think it’s something she can detach herself from, hence why she was able to politely excuse herself n set her boundaries after the confession scene at the stadium. but for her to know that he’s a player and a guy that sleeps around often, to then reject her body as well…ouch, that had to have stung even worse. but yes you’re so right i think it’s so important for his character development likeee he had been really careless w her feelings up until that point, so for him to make a decision that protects her from his own actions…i think that was a turning point for him. im so excited by your reflections in that scene also hope i am not coming off yapping too much here over ny own writing alsldkjdjdh i was just excited to discuss 😭😭❤️❤️

so i just wanted to make a post talking about housamo for a second because its kind of important for people to know this since im running this ask blog

i enjoy gatcha games as much as the next large man enjoyer, but the actual format of gatcha games give me lots of anxiety...

the need to constantly be on top of the game every day and to get the best pulls is pretty stressful and i cant keep up with it. especially since real actual money is involved in pulling the right summons and i cant spare a lot of coin.. i gotta eat, pay bills, and taxes too.

irl im very busy with mannnny things and this is also partially why I dont answer asks on a regular basis. i absolutely love macan and nomad, and im not planning on giving up managing this blog or slowing down more, but you all need to realize that i simply cant keep up with housamo and its constant growing cast of hot guys, or the expanding lore.

i just like these two goobers because they have fun personalities on top of being big titty kitties

so if i ever post something that is "out of character," unfitting, or wrong within the cannon... well, you'll just have to take me to court for that...

i am still working on the translations of macan's quests, but holy shit theres a LOT of dialogue, and I am not a linguist, nor do i know Japanese in the slightest. in doing this i was hoping to understand the character a little bit better and also give everyone the chance to enjoy the quests like i want as well

but jeez.. its confusing 😐

back to the topic, although this sounds sort of stupid, i really hate when people tell me im not playing the character right.

im playing the character as best as i can given what i know about them, and any other complaints can be sent directly to Gamma theirself because i will ignore them.

please dont tell me im doing it wrong, because believe it or not, im not actually a big beefy jungle man tiger who'll eat you, and i haven't been in the past, so other than what ive picked up on through the game and the wiki i dont have the capacity to like... live the life of what is essentially two other people and make interesting, realistic narritives based off of an ask from annon that says "step on me."

i try because it's fun.. but telling me im doing it 'wrong' takes the fun out of it for me and leads to some shitty dialogue.

@unhinged-as-hell in honor of my dear friend, I’d like to say something about this.

Anons are anons, that’s the definition of what they are. That’s what they do, hide your user, we all know this. But making an assumption that Leigh had said those things not only stupid, it’s also quite literally impossible that it was Leigh herself that did it considering that:

1. Like @/unfortunate-daughter-of-hestia said it before but Leigh has Jack blocked, I’d doubt she’d even think of unblocking them considering that the mere sight of their name makes Leigh sick. I was there when they said that.

2. You don’t provide that much good proof either, merely just linking the posts that she’s made regarding Jack and their actions, while many have done what she did. That’s not saying much and not doing a good job in backing up whatever ‘statement’ you made about this.

“But she glosses over the godsdamn fact that she sends hate annons to jack.”:

• She never glossed over anything, because again, I know her well enough to know that she wouldn’t be as immature as to send anon hate.

Allow me as well to point out that:

“She’s really petty, and I suggest you block her, but it’s your choice anyway”;

• Calling her petty was unnecessary, rude too, by the way, hope you learn that’s helpful to know. Even if she called herself that, that’s still rude to say about someone.

• You should know by now that there are many people who dislike Jack for what they’ve done, me included, I have them blocked as well.

What I also cant help but notice is that you say “please don’t blame/send hate to Jack” constantly, which confuses me. Is that the only thing you got from Leigh’s response? That only?

I can understand you want Jack to be okay, but you’re making him sound as though they’re completely innocent of all things they’ve done and make Leigh seem that she was planning on doing all those things, which she wasn’t. Again, she has them blocked, blocked I repeat.

In conclusion:

1. whether it really was your idea to make this or not, neither of you have that much evidence aside from a few screenshots of anons. Assumptions are assumptions, they’re untrustworthy thoughts from other people until they’re proved wrong or right and as I can tell, you’ve been proven wrong about it being Leigh.

2. You’re excusing Jack’s actions by saying they were in a bad mental health, which in itself is inexcusable. Mental health should never be used as an excuse, especially not for an AU like that. It doesn’t excuse anything and doesn’t explain anything.

3. Moving on is indeed healthy, which was exactly what Leigh was doing. I’m glad Jack is doing the same, but because of this you’ve opened up something that was already closed by calling my friend into this and have made it worse. I don’t mean to word it harshly, but it is that way.

4. You don’t see anything close to the anons and neither her posts, it’s her telling what happened, how she felt, that’s it. An assumption, again.

5. What Leigh was doing was simply informing you, that wasn’t causing harm to jack, that was trying to inform you. I don’t understand why you would attempt to villainize Leigh and say that she and sent hate anon and was trying to cause someone harm.

And finally:

6. She didn’t fail to inform anything, it was her side of how she felt, obviously anger, there. Done. Nowhere near is that hate bombing.

I simply think that you could easily said that someone has been sending jack hate without pointing fingers at anyone, and while receiving those anons would hurt Jack, by doing this you’re hurting the person you’re accusing without any actual good evidence.

You’re a sweet person, I can tell, but this what you’re doing is not doing any good like you thought it would. It’s spreading misinformation.

My points against her:

1 she sent, and still sends hate annons (which hurts his mental health)

2 she accused jacks bf (freddy) as being fake

So. I saw a post a while back where "lily" said things about the jack situation, and I thought it was fair. UNTIL I REACHED THE PART WHERE SHE SAID THAT JACK DIDN'T DESERVE ANYTHING HE HAS look, I know that he hurt you with the AU , it hurt me too, but going so far to say that he doesn't deserve anything he has??? That's petty and mean.

Not to mention that he was in a shit mental state at the time he made the AU. Which obviously does not excuse anything, but it atleast explains it.

Now, this is just one of 3 hate annons Jack got this week. Yes, Jack is aware that he has hurt people, yes he is actively striving to better, so sending these hate annons won't help Jack not being , and I quote : "a depressed little attention seeking bitch" he has owned up to his mistakes, and I've advised him to put the explanation on his blog. And since he is try I ng to be better, he is focusing on himself, his mental health, and moving on.

BECAUSE MOVING ON IS HEALTHY

Me and jacks others moots are aware that no one forgot what he did , that he hurt people. But all that you can achieve by hurting him is a short adrenaline rush, that won't be worth it coke a few days. He is actively trying to become a better person

ALSO I am aware that since this is an annon, it's hard to prove this was actually lilly. But if you were to compare this to her other posts about Jack, you'd see it is very close.

There were multiple posts accusing Freddy, jacks bf, of not being a real person. Now. All of jacks moots know he is real, due to Jack making posts about him, and him telling us about him and what happened. And honestly? It's plausible that Freddy knew how to use tumblr , because it only took me a day to figure it out

Okay, and now this:

okay, let me get this straight. What jack did was wrong. We all agree on that , including Jack. But he was in a shit mental state while doing it, and he wasn't thinking clearly. Jack is trying to improve, Jack is trying to better himself, Jack is moving on and like a few posts say we all should.

But we can't truly move on 'till Jack stops getting hate, till we apologise and understand and hear out, not necessarily forgive his actions

A Serious Relationship (Part 1)

Paring: Ben Barnes x Reader

Warnings: soft ben™ and it’s pretty much for the general.

Summary: Ben is looking forward for a date with you, and is shy.

Note: This is the result of my midnight reveries and I couldn’t help myself but to write and make up a soft side of Ben Barnes. Make sure to judge it through comments or annon asks because it’s what motivates me to write more. Tell me what’s good and what needs improvement.

Benjamin dates for a serious relationship, not for a fling, casual sex or one night stand. He does take his time knowing and learning the women he meets whether the time he will invest in her will be worth it. He’s a serious kind of guy when it comes to relationships and doesn’t like fooling around like a young man, anymore. After all, he was in his mid thirties. 

To him, dating isn’t hard. Women basically throw themselves at him despite his growing age. Finding the perfect woman is what is actually hard in his situation. Well, he isn’t really looking for the ‘perfect’ woman, as in flawless. That might never happen. He was just searching for the right woman who is perfect for him, a kind of woman who’s not just into his looks, fame and money.

Ben’s mind lingered around the phone call he had last night, trying to remember how well it went and thinking if this is the one he’s looking for. He brushed the thought off but he couldn’t suppress the smile plastered in his face. He just couldn’t wait for Saturday to find out. 

His friends sat down in front of him, greeting him and allowing some time to catch up for the meanwhile as he just got back to Los Angeles a week from now, but his lingering bright and wide smile is not left unnoticed by the party. 

“So what’s with your smile Barnes? It is very unsettling not to know what you hide behind those excited face of yours.” Candela said to him and he just laughed at her remark. 

“Well as far as I know Ben, love, it’s either he got a role or got a girl.” Cody guessed as his arm went behind Candela’s chair. Ben shook his head in disbelief at this couple’s observation. These two were his closest friends in LA, and he didn’t mind at all being a third wheel for these two. 

“So which is it, Barnes?” Candela proceeded to push Ben and he took a swig of his beer, putting the bottle down before speaking. 

“A girl.” He said and clasped his hands together, setting them on the table. “Trying my luck, you know. Date tomorrow. ” He added. 

“Well we hope it’ll be smooth. Do you know her well?” As a girl’s nature to be curious, Candela went on to interview Ben about this woman.

“Hmm. No not really, but she was nice and all.” Ben replied, the twinkle in his eyes earlier was lost and was replaced with a worrying look. “What do you guys think?” He asked, hoping for reassurance of his actions. It is not that he’s dependent on others but lately, the dates he’d been at weren’t going too well. 

“As long as she doesn’t drool the first second she sees you, I think it’s okay.” Cody commented and Candela hit him with her elbow.

“You didn’t have to make him remember that.”

Ben laughed at his friends while shaking his head. “No Candela, it’s alright.” He said as his mind reminisced at the last date he’d been on. The girl was stammering the entire date, her eyes were practically undressing him and it’s unbelievably funny that it’s not the reason why he was so turned off. She ordered quite a sad dinner like she was starving herself and then momentarily glancing at his. He wanted to tell her that she could have ordered a dinner to her liking, he wouldn’t care if she eats the entire menu there but he didn’t want to be rude.

“You’ve got to tell us about her more.” Said Candela, not showing a hint of dropping the topic about Ben’s awaited date on Saturday.

“She’s a nutritionist, consulted her once already. We agreed to meet every three months for my diet plan, my doctor recommended her to me and I actually thought having a nutritionist is beneficial for my health.”

“Dear god, old man.” Candela said, shaking her head laughing. “I mean, god, you’re too conscious for your health lately as if you’re in your sixties.” She added trying to control her laughter.

“Maybe you should hire yourself a nutritionist.” Her boyfriend mumbled and she gaped at him.

“You think I’m fat?” She asked, eyes flaring. 

“No, I think you’re eating too much unhealthy food.” Cody said and Ben laughed at the two.

“Yeah hire her so I could see her more often.” Ben suggested and Candela rolled her eyes at him. 

“And you agree to this man? I feel so ganged up.” She said as she dramatically sighed at her boyfriend and him.

Ben knew better and he couldn’t lie any longer at himself. No, he didn’t need a nutritionist. He was eating fine and healthy enough for all he knew. It just happened that he saw you at one of his doctor’s frames during his annual check up and asked who you were and that’s when you were introduced to him. He took a business card from his doctor, learning that she was your mother and that you had recently taken a job at the current hospital he was in.

During his first consultation with you one afternoon, you were confused. He looked like he didn’t need a nutritionist. You asked him a few questions about the food he eats and etc, all those basic questions to learn his lifestyle and you did give him nutritional advice. You told him that a two consultation a year would be enough for him but he insisted to meet you every three months. You thought of it as a waste of money, but he was Ben Barnes. You were completely aware of his identity. Maybe he needs this for his career or something, you really can’t turn down a job. For Ben, his hundred dollars was worth it. 

Wednesday, a few days after that meeting, he already had your work number saved in his phone and he dialed it unconsciously. When you answered, that’s when it dawned to him that he might have disturbed you from your work. 

“Hi, Mr. Barnes. Anything I can help you with?” You greet him with a clear voice he liked hearing so much.

“Oh... I...” he stammered and he heard you chuckling on the other line. “Well I called to ask you if you’re free for Saturday night?” He finally said and was actually scared that you’d turn him down but that was short-lived as you replied. 

“Hold on, I’ll check my schedule.”

He heard you flipping through papers on what he deemed as a planner for a few moments.

“I have a patient until 8 pm though.” You said. Ben didn’t know you were nipping at your lip as you try to comprehend why he is asking. You didn’t want to assume. 

“Hmm.” He hummed as if thinking if it’s better to proceed to directly tell you his offer. “That’s like dinner time.”

You laughed more and was shaking your head involuntarily. If he wants a date, he could just ask. You thought. “Yes Ben, that’s dinner time.”

You didn’t hear a reply from him and got worried. “So... what do you want on Saturday night at dinner time Mr. Barnes?” You asked. You can hear Ben nervously huffing out a breath.

“I wanted to take you to dinner. I’m sorry, I’m so not good at this.” He said and released a silent chuckle.

“Well I kind of figured it out. You are in fact, asking me to dinner at my work number.”

Ben had his heart rapidly beating inside him, nervously laughing at you as he waited for your answer. “But yes Mr. Barnes, a dinner with you is a great honor. I’ll send you my personal number so you don’t have to reach this one. Send me the address, would you?” You said and right then and there his heart felt like it leaped out of him.

“Yes! Yes why not?” Ben replied, sounding way too surprised and happy which caused you to smile behind the call. 

“So I have to go now Ben. Eat your lunch and don’t starve yourself out of excitement. See you.” You said and dropped the call. 

Ben snapped out of his trance when he felt his phone buzzed in his pocket. Fishing it out, he saw your name on the notification and quickly unlocked his phone to respond. You and him had been sending messages back and forth since that call and you were reciprocating his sweet lines which he was very relieved about.

I’m eating lunch with friends. Actually considering eating the pickles this time instead of picking them out of my burger. 

He typed and hit send. He scrolled up to where the conversation started that day. He messaged you the first thing in the morning, wanting you to wake up with a “good morning, have a nice day!” message and he would imagine that you would smile at it. 

You replied a few minutes before six with “Good Morning too Ben. Hope ‘you’ have a nice day because I’m expecting a tiring one and it won’t be nice at all.” He would smile at that message of yours, shaking his head and wanting to comfort you after a long day at work but he brushed the thought away thinking it’s too early to think about that in this fresh relationship. Actually, there was no relationship yet, but he went along. 

He first searched ‘relaxing food’ before replying to you. “Make sure you eat berries for breakfast and reward yourself with dark chocolates after a long day which bustle.com had told me it helps a person relax during stressing time.(https://www.bustle.com/articles/157580-11-foods-to-eat-when-youre-stressed-that-can-help-you-relax)” Ben said, pasting a link together with the message.

You couldn’t help laughing and smiling at that message. Ben was very thoughtful and you were beginning to like him more. It’s easy to talk to him through messages and they were definitely the ones that helped you go through the exhausting day.

At night when both of you are surely tucked in your own beds, he made sure he sent you a ”good night and see you tomorrow” message before he could drift off to sleep. By the time you replied, he was already deep in his dreams.

Saturday morning, he woke up looking forward for the day and checked his phone. There was an unread message from you last night and upon reading it, suddenly he is looking forward for the day to end.

“Oh right, I forgot to tell you. I can’t make it tomorrow. Mom asked the entire family for a dinner gathering just a few hours ago and I couldn’t refuse. I’m so sorry Ben. Good night, sleep well.”

with shaking hands and tears coming down your face, you click on Angel’s contact and call him. You knew you shouldn’t have called him, he broke up with you a few weeks ago and wanted nothing to do with you, but he was the only one who knew how to help you through it

“y/n” angel says, not in an endearing tone like it used to be but not rude either, but it was raspy like he was sleeping and that would make sense since it was midnight

“angel. i’m sorry I called but I-It’s hard to brea- breath. my chest is hur- hurting and I can’t affo- afford to call an ambu- ambulance and i know you don’t care about me an- anymore but i didn’t kn- know what else to do” you stutter out through your sobs.

“take deeps breaths okay? i’m on my way. leave the door unlocked for me” angel rushes as you hear rustling on his end

“okay” you whimper

“stay on the line with me sweetheart” angel mutters as you hear the roar of the engine

you both don’t say anything, he’s focused on driving and you’re content with listening the whistle of the wind.

“i’m already pulling up, i’ll be at your door in a few seconds” angel stammered

just like he said, a few seconds later he was coming in through your front door and locked it. He comes to the sofa where your knees are pulled up and your head is on them. you can feel yourself slowly stop shaking as Angel rubs circles on your back.

you lift up your head and see angel kneeling in front of you. he moves his hand from your back and brings it to your cheeks. he wipes the tears off your face, but they can’t seem to stop sliding down your face. angel starts humming the song that always helps you calm down and after a few minutes it feels like you can finally breathe again.

he wraps his arms around you and brings you to his chest, “are you okay?” he asked.

you just nod your head, “i’m sorry for calling you” you whisper as you pull away from him. “i’m not your problem anymore” you look away from him

“hey you were never a problem for me, is that why you think we broke up?” angel asks as he puts his hand on your chin and turns your head so you can face him.

“it’s not?” you ask, confused. when he broke up with you, he said he didn’t love you anymore and you thought it was because he got tired of you.

“i know I said I didn’t love you anymore” he mutters, “but the real reason I broke up with you was because i wanted to keep you safe. I got a note saying you’d get hurt and I figured you’d be left alone if we weren’t together” he says as he caresses your cheek with his thumb.

“why didn’t you tell me that?” you say as you lean your cheek closer to his hand

“I knew you wouldn’t want to break up, so I had to say something that was convincing. truth is, i never stopped loving you, i don’t think i ever can” he says with a sad smile.

“where do we go from here?” you ask as you pull away from him again. you didn’t want to get your hopes up.

“i want to be with you, I need to be with you. these last few weeks have been miserable for me, but I’m not gonna put you in danger” he says as he scoots closer to you

“but that’s my choice to make angel. I should be the one who decides” you say as you take his hand in yours.

“then what do you want to do? the choice is yours” angel says after a few minutes of thinking

Keade- She would apologies to the kitty ant try to pet it to make it up to them, but then the kitty would give her the middle claw and she is just confused at that point. Cats can give you the middle claw? Since when did they have his ability? Well, regardless…Rude.

Hajime- He would trip, then look back at the cat, who shot him pretty sarcastic and salty look, both of them just stared at each other for a few seconds. Hajime tries to pet the cat’s head and say sorry, but freezes when the cat then flips him off and runs off. Hajime just stared off shocked… not even sure how to respond.

Makoto- He trips and immediately begins frantically apologizing and checking to see that the cat isn’t hurt. The cat just gives them a death stare and gives him the middle claw before running off. “Wh-what…. Just happened?”

Shuichi- He would trip and would apologize before turning to go on his way. Out of the corner of his eyes he would notice the cat giving him the middle claw and do a double take… Cats can do that? Gosh, he said sorry. What an Ouma-like cat…

Komaru- Komaru would trip, and, like her brother would immediately check to see that they are okay, only she would immediately pick up the cat and try to hold them. The cat, not having it would scratch/bite her to get away, before shooting her the middle claw and going on his way. Komaru is glad the kitty is okay, but man that was a salty cat… reminded her of Syo…

*Curtains rise and Kokonoe does her introduction. Emil comes in, still horrified and depressed about what he did to Marta. Only to realise he's not at the Ginungagap*

Emil: "Marta..." *Snaps out of it* "Wait, what?"

Kokonoe: "Ah, the new hero of Dawn of the New World. So this what the higher ups ment by a 'special guest'."

Emil: "W-where am I? Wasn't I in the Ganungagap? And... who are you?"

Kokonoe: "Well, you were, but you somehow messed up and wond up here in The Boundry. As for who I am, I'm here to help you out sense you got the Bad Ending."

Emil: "Bad Ending? What do you mean by that?"

Kokonoe: "Don't you remember how you got? Don't tell while you were play-acting, you lost your memory! AGAIN!"

*Emil looks shocked and the music changes to the sad music*

Emil: "My god... I remember..."

"I preteneded to be Ratatosk, trying to get Marta and Lloyd to turn me into a core so I can atone for Aster's murder..."

Kokonoe: "But than you messed up and committed suicide. Don't you think you overreacted a LITTLE bit?"

Emil: "A little bit? A LITTLE BIT!?"

"I intended to become a core to atone for the crime I did and in doing so..."

"I KILLED MARTA!!!"

Kokonoe: "Calm down you brat! She's not dead!"

*Music becomes cheery again*

Kokonoe: "Listen, I'll admit you got carried away, but you only knocked her out. Key word: knocked out."

Emil: "So... Marta's alive... thank goodness..."

"But, I still hurt her... how could I let that happen...?"

Kokonoe: "First of all, would it kill you guys to check someone's pulse for even a moment. Second of all, you're taking this news really well considering what happened. Third, I bet your 'Big Friend' on the other side of the screen eitheir thought you needed to kick Marta and Lloyd's asses to see the True Ending, they beat them up out of spite or just did so for shits and giggles. Regardless, you failed."

Emil: "'Big Friend'??? Also, why would anyone want to hurt Marta and Lloyd!? They're great people!!" *Stops crying*

Kokonoe: "Hell if I know. The point is you got to far into play acting and hurt you girlfriend. Than you thought you killed her and killed yourself. Now you left you girlfriend, your mentor figure/arch enemy and your friends alone without you."

Emil: "But they would stop me if they knew what I intended to do! I knew it would hurt them, but I still wanted to make amends for what I did."

Kokonoe: "Well, if you wanted to lose, why didn't the developers make the players play as Marta and Lloyd so they wouldn't walk into the Bad Ending?"

*Emil just shrugs in confusion*

Kokonoe: "Okay, listen, I'm going to help you out so you can get the True Ending. That way, it won't happen again."

Emil: "I don't get? Are you saying you'll send me back in time?"

Kokonoe: "Something like that. (I better appeal to him. Besides, your big friend can just reload the last save point anyway. Better leave out that he'll forget everything when he leaves, otherwise, we'll be here all day.)"

Emil: "Okay, I'll listen. Anything so I don't hurt Marta and Lloyd again!" *Smiles hopefully*

"Um, is the True Ending the same as the Bad Ending? Minus hurting Marta and the others I mean?"

Kokonoe: "Sorry, don't know that. (Techincally I do. But why tell you when you're gonna over react again.)"

Emil: "Okay. That leaves me concerned, but I'll listen."

Kokonoe: "Personally, the game should let the player be Marta and Lloyd instead in that Boss Fight, but sense your the one being played in the fight, you just need to let them kick your ass instead. That's it."

Emil: "That's pretty blunt... and rude. Also, wouldn't Marta and Lloyd suspect something if I do NOTHING and let them pummel me?"

Kokonoe: "Don't worry. What happens in Gameplay won't be mentioned."

"Also, if you only knocked out one other character and the other's still standing, if the remaining guy beats you, you're still gonna get the True Ending. Marta or Lloyd will recover in the next scene provided you didn't knock out both of them."

Emil: "I never wanted to knock them out to begin with. Not to mention, that was my intention anyway. But, I'll keep that in mind. Thank you."

Kokonoe: "Don't mention it. Also, you did make sure you didn't swear loyalty to Lloyd and managed to golet Ignis and Tonitrus' cores before Lloyd, right?"

*Emil shugs in confusion for a moment*

Emil: "What do you mean? Well..."

Kokonoe: "(Hopefully, he got those three parts right. Otherwise, he'll have to go through the story again on New Game+ to get the True Ending instead of the Normal Ending. Well, as long as he overpowers the low level enemies, he and Marta will be fine on a repeat playthrough.)"

"Well, never mind. You got your hint. Do your best."

Emil: *Smiles and waves* "Okay! Thank you! I'll be carefully this time!" *Leaves the lab*

Kokonoe: "I'm still wondering what Marta and Richter see in that guy. I get he's a good boyfriend for Marta and a good apprentice for Richter. Those two are really curious..."

*Emil comes back in*

Emil: *Weird look* "Did you say something?"

Kokonoe: "Nope. Nothing."

Emil: "Okay than." *leaves again, for real*

Kokonoe: "Why was he still there..."

"Also, developers, if you EVER remake this game. Change that boss fight so they're playong as Marta and Lloyd fighting Emil so they don't get the Bad Ending by mistake, okay?"

What parts would you change?

(No offense if you, Aery and Kage got the Bad Ending by accident on the first time.) *~*~*~*~* LOL, I DID get the bad ending by accident the first time. I stopped playing right before the ending so when I picked it up and got to the Marta and Lloyd fight I just assumed I was supposed to kick their asses so they'd know I was dangerous or something and then kill Emil and I was like "This is a weird ending but okay." And then I got the bad end. I also ended up getting the normal ending when I did the fight properly and didn't get the good ending until the NG+. Making some real digs at the developers for that end battle but I can't blame you. One of the final pieces to getting the true ending is to literally throw the final match and just sit there and do nothing while waiting for your opponents to kill you. Not much of a final fight. I do think it would make more sense to get switched over to Marta and Lloyd but I guess since Emil is the MC and more people probably played him by default in testing groups they probably didn't want to suddenly switch you over to Marta since you technically don't ever have to fight as her. But I do think that if you, like, stand still for 10 seconds the fight should just end with the assumption that you know you're throwing the fight on purpose instead of having to wait however long it takes for Lloyd and Marta to whump you. It feels a little heavy-handed in that regard, bringing it up twice, but other than that I think it'd be a good little interaction.
