#twisted wonderland #twisted wonderland spoilers #twisted wonderland episode 7 spoilers #twisted wonderland book 7 spoilers #twisted wonderland episode 7 part 11 spoilers #twisted wonderland book 7 part 11 spoilers #unfortunately leona's ultimate happy dream did involve his entire family dying tragically. them's the breaks.#(for the record he is a little messed up about this) (he is a little messed up about a lot of stuff)#the context of cheka is that they were going to try to shock leona awake by having him show up #however while styx could provide them with a 3d model based on a bodyscan (which they had for...reasons??) they had no data on his behavior #so he was basically just a little frozen mannequin #(the sprite was not t-posing but in my heart this was happening)#ruggie could kind of pilot him with his magic but it only lasts for a few seconds so he had to keep recasting it with noticeable choppiness #so while we don't get the entire effect due to the limitations of the format #this means that leona was in the middle of let-them-eat-cake'ing a revolution when suddenly #his late nephew bursts jerkily in through the door yelling OJITAN I'M ALIVE AND MY VOICE CHANGED OFFSCREEN #honestly they spent more time thinking of how to explain ruggie's terrible impression of cheka than anything else #how could leona have seen through this brilliant plan so quickly 🤔#man i really did love his horrible dream though #i like him as a character but i wasn't expecting his dream to be the one that got to me like that #love how all the savana dreams were like #jack: what if leona was really cool and my friend :)#ruggie: what if my dad came back and leona created a socialist utopia for me :)#leona: what if i finally got the chance to prove myself except i screwed everything up and everyone hated me and my family was dead #his conversation with kifaji at the end 😭#kifaji in his dream in GENERAL acting as a counterpoint to his phantom like. like!!!! (waves hands)#i just. these guys.#me 4+ years ago: this game looks so dumb i gotta try it. surely i won't become emotionally overinvested in any of this.

#boston #boston harbor #ocean #city photography #seagull #seagull :)#this was near the boston tea party museum #because my friend wanted to do touristy things #and being from south america his knowledge of us history is limited to a few events but one he knew well was the tea party #and so when we got there something seemed a little amiss based on the fact that it said 'next tour 1pm'#i was like why would there be scheduled times for a museum #so we bought our tickets #and all of a sudden a spirited actor in perfect 1800's garb comes out and is like 'welcome friends to our very important protest #and it was in this horrifying moment where i realized i had just bought a $35 ticket to an interactive historical reenactment museum #to my friend he asked where he came from and then he was like 'oh our south american reinforcements for this protest'#and also we were sat in the front #so they had a guy come up being samuel adams #and he kept making direct eye contact with me #so you know what #i ate that #i was like 'well this isn't what i was planning on doing today but if duty calls it is what i will do'#i channeled my inner theatre nerd and LOCKED eyes and emphatically reacted the whole time #i was YELLING huzzah and fie and whatever else #i volunteered to 'push the tea off the ship' first #it was a good time #it was so corny but i loved every second of it highly recommend #elsewhere series

I will never get over the fact that Daisys first impression of Skrimm was him bolting to the fireplace, stripping himself down to his underwear and plopping his happy ass down in front of the fire, while the rest of the party is breaking the news that her sister is dead and that they may all still be in danger of the thing that killed her sister

#also please correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that she also deadass washed him during the Ogreton arc #at least once but maybe multiple times?#first base is her seeing him naked #second base is him giving her a ring/necklace #third base is sharing secret notes #4th base is longing looks from across the room #I imagine 5th base is *gasp* a confession? maybe? hopefully?#ngl I love their slowburn. it’s not like one of those forced slowburns where it’s slow bc neither of the characters just. talk.#no this one makes sense. because they have bigger fish to fry than their feelings. and also Skrimm still has that bit of self loathing #and I imagine daisy is the type of person to not really acknowledge her own feelings unless she knows that her and her friends/family are #safe (for the time being knowing these dumbasses)#I mean. the most we get to see her personality shine through was during the Ogreton arc (especially when she and Skrimm were alone)#bc she knew they were safe for the most part. Snowfall CRYING at the prospect of Lynx going on some mission to another continent bc she's so afraid Lynx'll maybe die is so heartwarming to see specifically from her bc of her usual cold attitude

It's such a great way to show that Snowfall does truly treasure Lynx's companionship (platonic or romantic either work i just happen to love them as a couple)

I also absolutely love that Lynx blocks Tundra while Snowfall breaks the name wall idk why i just really like that scene

Hey so do you know where I could find this acting manifesto of yours?

I usually try and avoid publicly expressing my opinion on things like this but I recently saw some people commenting negatively on his acting again and I’m starting to doubt my own judgement.

I’ve truly never had a huge problem with his acting but I keep seeing people using really harsh words to describe his prior and current work. I genuinely think he’s doing a good job in THK but these comments sometimes make me think I’m missing something.

That conflicts with the fact I know at least three people he worked with on THK specifically had positive things to say about his acting too and I trust people who do this for a living to know what they’re talking about for the most part.

I guess I’m just looking for your post to have a more detailed perspective of the opposite viewpoint to “he’s a terrible actor” to help affirm some of my thinking so I’m more confident in my positive opinion of his acting.

Overall though I’m enjoying everyone in this show but for me I’m specifically enjoying the four mains the most. Kudos to them honestly.

(Disclaimer: Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion but the harshness of some of the opinions took me off guard a little.)
