The Michaelson Family

Atlas / Sebastian/ Christopher/ Orion/ Celeste/ Agatha Crumplebottom

Celeste and Christopher met working at the same startup. They couldn't believe how much they had in common when they first went out for coffee together! After they got married, they adopted Atlas and promptly began spoiling him rotten. Now they've also adopted Orion and are hard at work raising two kids to be just as nerdy as they are.

Sebastian's a fairly laid back guy with "#1 Grandpa" more or less emblazoned on him at all times. He keeps to himself and enjoys relaxing and socializing - and being ridiculously, dramatically over-the-top in defending his perfect and precious daughter Celeste.

When Agatha received a call from her cousin Agnes, saying her husband had died and left her alone to raise her three children, Agatha had no choice but to drop everything and rush to Agnes' side, knowing that her own child was in safe hands with her husband. But time passed, and Agnes never quite recovered, and Agatha didn't return, causing a rift in the family. She is hoping to make it up to her daughter and be around for her grandchildren, but Agnes does not stop calling.

Not even remotely canon but I decided to make Agatha Crumplebottom the mother of Celeste.

I try to give all of the Maxis elders some familial ties so their legacy can live on when they die and there was no one that quite fit Agatha (and the Crumplebottom family in general) until I put the Crumplebottom sisters in San Sequoia.

In the Charmed reboot,the Vera sisters have a trans cousin who 100% should've replaced Macy when she died as a member of the Power of Three. (I didn't get to see Season 4, so I don't know what logic they used to explain a mysterious 4th sister)

So now, Celeste has her 3 [2nd] cousins nearby, and a potential secret magical ability!

Sebastian Michaelson

Age 69 years old

Loves being a Grandpa, and is so proud of his daughter Celeste.

He retired from his job as an accountant when Atlas came along, to help look after him while Celeste and Christopher work.

He and Atlas are jokesters together and often get in trouble from Celeste for playing pranks on Christopher.

He also spends a lot of time at the rec center. He has joined a group of other elders who play simbles and speed walk around the lake.

He has a bit of a romance going with Vivian Lewis.

For my story, I was trying to establish occult ancestry for a few families using TS1 NPCs. For the Crumplebottoms, I decided Glenda and Gordon The Ghosts (the Spectral Spouses you summon on Electro's Spooky Laboratory stage in Magic Town) were Crumplebottoms ( I have a whole story about them being in a coven dedicated to death/mediumship lead by Lady Ravendancer Goth, and their part in the Century Conflict/Vampire War/ Operation Eternal Sun [from the Werewolves pack lore] which I will write fully if i ever get to season 5 of my Micropolis X story 😣)

Glenda & Gordon had 2 sons, Simon (Canon) and Oscar (completely made up because i wanted Agatha & Agnes to actually appear in each other's family trees) .

Then of course, Simon & Prudence Crumplebottom have 2 daughters, Cornelia , mother to Mortimer and Rebecca Goth , and Agnes Crumplebottom, who I headcanon to be the mother of the Moonlight Falls Crumplebottom Sisters

I haven't quite figured out how Elmira Clamp and Ian Arneson are related, just that Agnes is Elmira's Aunt, but I've included them for completionism sake.

Oscar and his wife Dorothea had only one daughter, Agatha. I imagine they met (as well as Simon & Prudence) in Magic Town, maybe in a tranquil corner of Serra Glen, but during the Century Conflict, they decided to renounce all magic and start a farm in Henford where they knew they would be safe. Agatha grew up in the serenity of the countryside, whereas Agnes's early life was marred with fear. The other Crumplebottoms eventually left magic behind too, but some of them are still stricken with the lasting effects of the war.

Lastly, not even remotely canon, but I made Agatha the mother of Celeste Michaelson so that she'd have a family. The Crumplebottom/Charmed sisters live in San Sequoia/San Francisco too, so its nice for Celeste to be near her cousins.

Atlas and Orion Michaelson

Aged 7 and 1 years old.

Atlas's favourite things are the Splash Pads, playing in the treehouse his dad built, doing puzzles with his grandpa Sebastian at the rec center and singing songs to his little sister.

He has trouble making friends at school.

He wants to be an astronaut when he grows up.

His mum and dad love teaching him new facts about space.

He had been quite spoiled until Orion came along, and he's been acting out since she was born. He loves her, but misses the attention. Luckily Grandpa Sebastian is there to pick up the slack.

Orion is a wiggly baby. She has a lot of trouble sleeping and makes her parents very tired and cranky. She was also quite difficult until her eyesight was sorted out.

She loves cuddles, and babbling and her older brother Atlas.

Legacies season 2 was so good and so frustrating at the same time

Legacies season 2 was so good and so frustrating at the same time. I feel like the recurring characters from season 1 and new characters they introduced like Clarke and Sebastian and even Ethan and Maya were so interesting and really brought a new dynamic to the main characters. At the same time though, they were’t given sufficient time to fully explore their complexity, which is so frustrating since they have so much potential and the actors were all amazing in their role. 

I mean Clarke and Hope had a really complex, interesting relationship and the actors had great chemistry making them so enjoyable to watch, which was so infuriatingly frustrating on how they ended his character. Same goes with Lizzie and Sebastian storylines and Sebastian character.  

On a side note, am I the only one that don’t really like Landon and Hope together? I have nothing against them being together, but I feel like their characters are so much more interesting when they are with other characters. Perhaps because I feel like their storyline is too repetitive? Even in season 1, i saw more potential between Hope and Raphael, although now I feel like they’re not that compatible anymore. 

And please give more scenes between Kaleb and MJ . Love, love, love them together.
