Hey guys. Rice ball time.

Things you need:

Sushi rice

Mirin (technically optional)

Rice wine vinegar

Sesame oil (technically optional)

Seaweed wraps (technically optional)

Salt

Filling: I prefer spicy lemon mushrooms or spam with prosciutto, but you can use basically anything you want here. Cheese, taco meat, spinach and feta, take your pick.

Equipment/supplies you need:

Rice cooker

Frying pan

Spatula

Spoon

Plastic wrap

Cookie sheet (technically optional)

STEPS:

Measure the rice according to your rice cooker.

WASH THE RICE. This is important. It just means swirl it around in water with your hand, drain the water off, and repeat until your water's not getting any clearer.

Put in the rice cooker with water according to how your rice cooker works.

Add a splash of rice wine vinegar, + mirin and sesame oil if you have it.

Cook rice.

While rice is cooking, prepare filling however you want.

When both are done, take out a sheet of plastic wrap. Sprinkle generously with salt.

Scoop some rice onto the plastic wrap. About a fist-sized portion should be more than enough.

Put a spoonful of filling in the center.

Cover spoonful of filling with more rice.

Close up the plastic wrap and twist it. You should have a formless rice ball.

Shape it into a triangle by squeezing the plastic wrap. You might need a washcloth for heat protection for this.

Repeat until you're out of rice. Congrats, you have rice balls for the next few days.

Refrigerate until cold.

At this point, they should hold their shape fairly well. If you want to seaweed-wrap them:

Fill cookie sheet with warm water.

Have surface ready to put seaweed and rice ball on.

Submerge seaweed sheet in warm water for 10 seconds MAX.

Put flat on the surface from 2. It will be messy, that's fine.

Put rice ball in middle of seaweed.

Fold seaweed around it. I like to fold the corners over the top of the triangle first, then the bottom.

Wrap in foil and refrigerate.

Repeat for as many rice balls as you want like this.

SPICY LEMON MUSHROOM FILLING:

Cajun seasoning (paprika + oregano + thyme + salt + cayenne + white pepper + red pepper flakes. Paprika should be the biggest component, everything else, add as much as you think you want)

Lemon juice

Margarine or butter

Sliced mushrooms

Put in a lot of butter and let it melt.

Add the mushrooms.

Season generously with cajun seasoning.

When they look like they're properly cooked (dark, smaller, kind of curled in on themselves, shiny, the butter's mostly gone), add lemon juice.

Cook until lemon juice is mostly gone.

Profit.

SPICY LEMON SPAM FILLING:

The exact same as above except you cut up spam for it instead of mushrooms. Maybe add soy sauce if you want. Cooked spam looks lightly brown on the edges.

I like to wrap my spam rice balls in strips of prosciutto so they look like the meaty rice balls from Breath of the Wild.

Walker Scobell X Reader | Series | You Belong With Me🔱 Part 21

HAUNTED?!

It was pure darkness you couldn't see anything

"What just happened?" You say a little scared

"The lights went out" Walker replies

"I can see that seaweed brain. I mean why did it happen" You roll your eyes

Dior grabs her phone and turns on her flashlight

Everyone stands up and Walker puts his arm around you because he can tell you're scared

"Why did the power go out?" You ask Dior as she was looking at the news on her phone

"There was a power outage for 10 miles. It could be out for...8 HOURS!" Dior says

"8 hours?? Why??" You say as Walker hugs you tighter

"The thunderstorm outside. With the lightning and everything the power went out." Aryan says now looking at his phone too

"Are we safe??" You say scared

"Of course we are!" Walker reassures you

Suddenly your phone rang (which kind of freaked you out because it was so loud)

You all were getting frantic calls from your parents. When you hung up with your mom Taylor called

Taylor 💖

OMG! ARE YOU OKAY?

ARE YOU SAFE?!

Haha don't worry! I'm fine!

It's a little scary because it's

dark but we are safe

Do you have flashlights?

Candles? Food? Water?

Blankets?

Umm I think we have like

two flashlights. I don't

know about candles.

We definitely have food.

I think we have water.

And yes! Lots of blankets

Okay. And you're with everyone?

You're not alone right?

Yup! We were playing

monopoly when it happened

so we are all together

Alright. Well...keep me updated okay?

Don't leave me making up fake scenarios

of why you're not texting me okay?

Haha of course I will Taylor!

"What are we gonna do?" You ask them as you hang up the phone

"I don't know but dont be scared you wimp" Walker shrugged

"Well how could I be with your reassuring words" you roll your eyes

"I'm hungry" You say as you walk over to the fridge

"DONT OPEN THAT!" everyone yells at you

"Why??" You pout

"Because you don't wanna let the cold air out or the food will go bad" Walker explains

"But! But if I don't eat it could be fatal!" You exclaim

"You're not gonna die" Walker rolls his eyes

"I meant fatal for you!" You yell at him

"Here eat this" Walker throws bag of chocolate that was behind the couch at you

"Ow!" You whine because it hit you in the head

"Eat that...and learn how to catch" Walker says sarcastically

"How about you learn how to throw" You reply picking the bag up off the floor

"Where did this come from? The chocolate fairy?" You ask as your eyes light up

"I know you always get hungry at like 2 am so i brought this with me to give to you then" He explained

"You brought this all the way from home?" You ask so happy he loves you that much

"Yeah" He blushes

"I love you so much!" You kiss him

"I love you too! But i only got it because i didn't want you to make me get you Taco Bell" He lies

"Whatever" you roll your eyes

You sit down on the floor and open the bag

"How much longer do they think it will be until the storm clears up?" Walker asks trying to grab a chocolate from you

"Eat my chocolate and you won't live to see the storm end" you jokingly threaten

"Fine let me starve" Walker complains dramatically

"Whatever! But just one you big cry baby!" You hand him one

Charlie turned on the fire and everyone sat in front of it because it was the only light you had

Suddenly you scream

"What?!" Eveyone says in unison because you freaked them out

"My phone died!" You say horrified

"Are you serious?! That's why you screamed?" Walker asks annoyed

"Yes! What am I gonna do?!" You say still freaking out

"I don't know. Enjoy looking at your gorgeous boyfriend in real life" Walker jokes

"Who is that?" You say like you don't know

"Very funny. I guess someone doesn't wanna use my phone" Walker mocks holding his phone out of reach

"Ooo!! I'm sorry! Gimme" You say trying to take it but he moves it farther away from you

"And?" He says

"And you are my gorgeous boyfriend and I'm lucky to have you" You roll your eyes

"Hmmm doesn't seem very sincere. What do you think guys?" he jokes

"Shut up and give it to me!" You say as you snatch it from him

He just laughs and stands up. He comes back with a cozy blanket and lays it on top of you. You lay your head in his lap as he looks down at you sweetly. Moving the hair out of your face.

"I love you so much" He says lovingly

"I love you too seaweed brain" you reply as he kisses you

It was about 30 minutes later

"Noooooooo!" You whine

"What happened?" Walker asks you

"Your phone died" You pout

"Yeah mine is only 5% now" Dior says putting her phone down

"Yeah same" Charlie adds

"I win! Mine is 15%!" Aryan gloats

You just jokingly glare at him

"Well we will have to do something else I guess" Walker shrugs

"Like what?" You ask still pouting

"I don't know...Oooo!! How about we take turns telling scary stories" Walker suggests

"Noooo! Last time you gave me nightmares!" You complain

"Oh come on! It's perfect! Scary stories by the fire in a power outage! Doesn't it sounds fun?" He says trying to convince you

"It sounds like a horror movie" you reply

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeee" Walker whines in a really annoying voice

"Ugh fine! I hate you!" You roll your eyes

"Yay! Now who wants to start?" Walker asks very happily

"I don't wanna freak y/n out" Dior says sweetly

"Whatever I'll go first" Walker rolls his eyes

He clears his throat and starts

"In the heart of a remote town, an ominous hotel loomed over the landscape, its windows like empty eyes watching the unsuspecting passersby. Five teenagers, seeking adventure on a dare, checked into the hotel for a night of thrills. But as darkness descended and a storm brewed outside, they soon realized they were not alone.

A power outage plunged the hotel into darkness, casting the corridors into an abyss of shadows. Panic gripped the teens as they groped their way through the blackness, their hearts pounding with fear. But amidst the chaos, they failed to notice the presence lurking in the shadows—a sinister figure stalking them with malevolent intent.

As they huddled together, seeking solace in each other's company, they heard the telltale sound of footsteps echoing down the hall—a chilling reminder that they were being hunted. With each passing moment, the sense of dread intensified, and they knew that they were trapped in a deadly game of cat and mouse. They were hearing noises, echos, screams. Suddenly..." Walker stopped telling the story out of nowhere

"Then what?!" You say really scared

"And then they die" Walker says smugly

"What?!" You say worried

"Don't be scared I just made the story up" Walker reassures you

"But you made it to freak me out! 5 teenagers get murdered in a hotel room that had a power outage!! Are trying to give me a heart attack?!" You yell at Walker

"Yes" He replies plainly

"Guys let's stop we are gonna give y/n nightmares" Dior says

"Yeah I agree" Aryan and Charlie say

"Fine" Walker rolls his eyes

It was about 20 minutes later and you were all lying down in front of the fire. Everyone had blankets and pillows and was asleep. Suddenly you jolted up at the sound of a loud door creaking

"What was that?" You say alarmed

"What was what?" Walker mumbles into his pillow

"That sound. You didn't hear that?" You ask

"No" He sat up and looks at you sleepily

"Awwww angel I'm so sorry i scared you! That's probably why you're hearing things" He said hugging you sweetly

"I promise I'll protect you" He reassured you

You closed you eyes feeling so safe in his arms when you heard a loud crack

"Okay I heard that" Walker said a little freaked out

"Be quiet! We're trying to sleep!" Aryan whined

"That wasn't me" You say scared

"What?" Aryan says waking up a little

"Those creepy sounds aren't us" you explain

"What are we hAuNteD?" Aryan mocks in a fake creepy voice

"No but we could get murdered" You reply

"I'll go look around" Walker whispers

"I'll go with you" Aryan says as he grabs one of the two flashlights we had

"Wait! Don't leave me alone!" You whine

"You're not alone! Dior and Charlie are literally a foot away from you" Walker whisper yells at you

"But they are asleep" You pout

"Fine come with us" Walker rolls his eyes

"But then Dior and Charlie will be left alone!" You point out

"Omg just wake them up!" Walker says leaving the room with Aryan

"Dior! Dior!" You shake her awake

"Y/n? What's wrong?" She mumbles

"There are creepy noises and Walker and Aryan are checking the house to see if there is a murderer" You explain

"What?! Alone?" She says jolting up

"Yeah" you reply

"Well let's go join them and make sure they are okay. Charlie wake up" She says standing up

We grab the other flashlight and start to look for Walker and Aryan

"Walker!" You whisper yell but there was no reply

"Walker! Aryan! Where are you?" You say again

No answer

"Where do you think they are?" You ask worried

"Don't worry! I'm sure they are somewhere" Dior reassures you

The three of you continued to tiptoe around. Suddenly you walked into something and screamed as you started yo throw punches

"Ow! Ow! Hey! It's me! Y/n! It's me!" Walker says holding your shoulders

"Oh Walker! I thought you disappeared! I was so scared!" You jump into his arms and kiss him

"Don't worry I'm not gonna die! I'll be annoying you for many years to come" Walker jokes

"You're right! You are annoying! Wanna go venture in that dark room alone." You laugh

"Did you find anything?" Charlie interrupts

"Nope. But there were some more weird sounds" Walker replies

The five of you went back by the fire but it was out.

"Uh did you turn off the fire?" Aryan asks

"No" Dior says a little freaked out

Walker hugs you tighter and you could tell he was thinking. Probably of how to reassure you that everyone was gonna be okay

Suddenly the front door slammed open as you tried to shriek but you were scared silent

Suddenly it slammed shut

"Walker" you say scared as everyone just watched this happen

"What's happening?" Dior asks

"I don't know...maybe it's the electricity" Walker tries to calm everyone down

"A POWER OUTAGE DOESN'T SLAME THE DOOR OPEN AND SHUT WALKER!" You whisper yell at him

"Okay okay. But there must be a logical explanation for this!" Charlie says

"Yeah we are all about to die" You whine

"What should we do?" Aryan asks

"Well nothing came through the door so I guess we should just try not to think about it" Walker says not sure what to do

"WHAT?! YOU WANNA JUST TRY NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT UNTIL WE ARE DEAD?!" You yell at Walker

"Well I don't know what to do!" Walker shrugs

Everyone was sitting around the fire just kind of...horrified. Trying no to think about it.

You it get up and go to the bathroom. You were washing your hands and looking in the mirror when you noticed it wasn't you looking back at you. It was a creepy girl who looked seriously ill.

You shrieked and ran out of the bathroom

"Y/n!" Walker yells concerned and you run into his arms

"Walker there was- and she- and I-" You stuttered

"Hey you're okay! What happened?" He asks worried

"I looked in the mirror and someone else was looking back!" You say trembling

"What?!" Dior yells

"We. Are. Gonna. Die" Aryan states

"We aren't gonna die" Charlie reassures everyone

"It's gonna be okay" Walker hugs you tightly

"I'm calling the police" Dior says pulling her phone from her pocket

"Uhhhh...guys?" Dior said nervously

"What?!" You say REALLY scared now

"I don't have service. I can't make any phone calls" she said looking worried

Suddenly you heard a man humming

You screamed and everyone ran to the middle of the room together

You looked at Walker and he actually looked scared now

"Im gonna go check this place again" Walker says

"No! You can't go alone!" Everyone says in unison and follows him

You were walking down the hallway of the suites that joins the rooms

The creaking of everyone's footsteps made it even scarier. The thunderstorm was so loud! The rain was pounding against the roof and the lightning was deafening.

You have walked through the living room and 2 out of the 3 bedrooms.

As everyone walked in the last one suddenly the room was lit up by the lightning outside. But only for a moment. A sudden chill came through the room. It was cold the whole time but this was like negative 50 degrees kind of cold. Aryan turned around worridly and started looking at everyone with horror in his eyes

"Where is Charlie?!" Aryan asks worried

mer may reader but quite literal, during the month of may they can switch between mer and human form freely. But as soon as midnight hits on may 31 and it turns to June 1 they are stuck in the form they were last till next may. Usually they stick with human but this time they messed up and are stuck as a mer

and man, they really wish they could go to McDonald instead of dealing with these large ass dudes, leave them alone!!

(also love the reincarnation au, it’s so unsettling of a idea and I love it)

Hahaha, they'd be in for big surprise! Every May, they get to go freely between being a mer and human, but they're stuck in the form they're in once it's midnight of June 1st. And this time, Reader had an accident, and was in their mer form. And this... it's scary. There are OTHER mer people? BIG mer people?? Who think they're a BABY?! NonoNOnO, leave them ALONE! They don't want to go in their pouch! They don't want to be in a nest! Let them go!! Reader wants some chicken nuggets and fries, or some good old fashioned tacos or cooked food, and they're having to eat raw fish and seaweed and oysters and whatever else is under the water. WHY did this happen??

And the platonic yans are so glad to finally have a guppy/pup! And it's such an itty bitty one! They likely aren't even 2 decs (20 years old, or 2 years old for mers), just look at their tiny tail and their little teeth and bitty claws! They're a baby! And they need to feed this poor baby and get them in their nest, NOW! They're so cold and scared and lonely, they need cuddles and warmth and other babies! Look at them! They NEED them! And they have an entire pod ready to accept this little bundle of joy! Just let them wrap them up and keep them sleepy, and they'll take care of everything!

(It would be even cuter if their all in the Itty Bitty Mer AU! Imagine Reader is this absolutely tiny baby mer, and the adults are actually bigger than them, but still tiny, too- The confusion. The fear. The cuddles and snuggles and feeding attempts. The little kelp blankets and little clam beds-!)

Favorite Meals

I'm learning to love food for all that it is, from the cooking process to how it nourishes my body. Being involved with fresh ingredients and mindfully preparing my meals helps with my propensity to binge, so here's a list of stuff I love to make 💚✨️

Vegan BL(s)T: Whole grain bread, vegan mayo (store-bought or homemade WFPB), spinach, tomato, marinated tofu "bacon"

Burrito Bowls: Shredded tofu, black beans, corn, tomato, red onion, garlic, jalapeño, lime, rice, taco seasoning

Air Fried Tempeh: Tempeh, vegan Buffalo sauce, panko bread crumbs

Dubu-jorim (banchan): extra firm silken tofu, soy sauce, garlic, gochugaru, brown sugar, sesame oil, green onion

Stir-Fry: Brown rice noodles, garlic, soy sauce, Sriracha, sugar, frozen veggie mix, soy curl "chicken"

Bibimbap: Brown rice, carrot, soybean sprouts, spinach, mushrooms, tofu, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper

Pasta Salad: Chickpea pasta, vegan mayo, red onion, red bell pepper, peas, carrots, paprika, onion powder, black pepper

Cauliflower Wings: Purple cauliflower, flour, soy milk, spices of choice

Kimbap: Seaweed sheets, rice, sesame oil, pickled radish, spinach, carrots, fried tofu, vegan spam

astronaut food

i've been meaning to outline the eating habits of the main wolf 359 characters. specifically, what do they eat and drink, what do they enjoy, what are their kitchen sins, how do they eat, and why. this is going to be a combination of canon, implications, and my personal read on them. let's get right into it:

DR. ALEXANDER HILBERT

his view on eating is utilitarian to the point of reddit-ness, and he'll often go without meals to get something done or to prove a point (see: Succulent Rat-Killing Tar, What's Up Doc). his palate is a very "get what you can out of whatever you can" approach without considering much in the way of taste or texture (seaweed coffee is his invention). HOWEVER! hilbert has one prized treat that is his achilles heel/autism samefood: Pecan Pie (see: Mission Mishaps Cold Turkey). i think it's got a unique texture, and a comforting smell that meshes with his suppressed desire for family and safety well.

kitchen sin: he regards the human need and desire for food as both frivolous and an unfortunate necessity.

LIEUTENANT RENÉE MINKOWSKI

she definitely enjoys fruit, or she wouldn't've cryogenically sealed a Braeburn apple (which are excellent for baking or dehydrating, btw) and brought it to space (see: What's Up Doc). she's also a planning type, and i think an efficient and tasty meal that involves the preparation and presentation of a fancy yogurt bowl is a favorite of hers and a dietary staple. minkowski is highly conscious of table manners, although that slacks a bit on the hephaestus, because she's eating across the table from hilbert and eiffel, for god's sake. still, clean and organized is her food philosophy. she owns possibly the only tupperware collection on the planet that includes every matching lid. the wine has almost no canon basis, and is mostly just a nod to voice actor Emma Shierr-Ziarko's own love and knowledge of wines.

kitchen sin: she thinks a clif bar counts as a real dinner if it's a weeknight.

CAPTAIN ISABEL LOVELACE

lovelace's favorite food is appetizers for the whole table, a team pizza party, a big awesome-smelling potluck, or anything meant to be shared. for her, eating is a casual and (more importantly) a communal activity. the social engagement from a loud brunch will nourish her just as much as the food does. besides that, i think she likes chocolate with nuts in it (e.g. snickers, chocolate covered almonds, rocky road ice cream, etc), but one of her favorite desserts is probably a strawberry milkshake. maybe it's a way to make up for all the protein shakes and high-efficiency smoothies (that taste like wet cement) she has to chug on account of the intense way she lives and works.

kitchen sin: she is a vulture if anyone else is cooking or eating. "you gonna eat that?" and picking off searing hot pans and baking sheets. she's really just curious but she never asks until its already burning her mouth.

COLONEL WARREN KEPLER

ok, the drink is a given. it's even on his official wolf 359 store merchandise. he likes the feel of it in his hand. but what does kepler eat? when does he eat? in private, obviously. his job is an exercise in restraint and perception, and he is his job (see: A Matter of Perspective). monsters under the bed don't need to eat, and they certainly won't be that vulnerable in front of a superior. but he's still a person, so i struggled a lot trying to figure out what he would crave. fish tacos, biscuits and gravy, and a loaded chicago hot dog were all floated, but the only meal i could picture kepler ordering where anyone could see him was lamb with mint sauce. it's expensive, recognizable, difficult to cook exactly right, and almost bloody.

kitchen sin: he will go out of his way to make you feel bad about what you're eating no matter what it actually is. he doesn't even have to say anything, he'll just glance at you or shift his posture slightly.

DANIEL JACOBI

this is a guy who loves to snack (see: Time To Kill. pringles: popped). he likes crunchy, salty snacks a lot, but it's more about the activity than the taste. that doesn't stop him from ritualistically complaining (see: Mission Mishaps No Complaints). he takes his time eating, but he doesn't pay much attention to it, which is why the longevity of a slushy is a favorite of his. jacobi lives off road snacks, but will find a way to complain about the points of a michelin star. he just likes bitching! the stinky cheese (see: Need To Know) pictured is a baked Camembert, because it's my post and i get to pick the cheese. Camembert is one of my personal favorites, but it can be fairly pricy and is a pain to clean up, which doesn't matter to jacobi (goddard company credit card please!)

kitchen sin: he spends an excruciatingly long time on any meal to the point where, if he had his way, they'd bleed into each other by taking an average of one bite every 15 minutes.

DR. ALANA MAXWELL

the drink pictured is a rockstar energy, but whatever legal(ish) stimulants can get inside her body the most effectively is maxwell's favorite. she eats a lot of takeout (see: Mission Mishaps Happy Holidays) because it's quick when she forgets to eat all day and it's tasty and she has the pay grade for it. she grew up in a tiny nowhere town that was in all likelihood at least partially a food desert, and her family dinner table warranted a restraining order, so i think in her adult life she tries to get as far away from that as possible. this often manifests in trying all the outlandishly spicy things she can get her greasy mitts on, because she is both inquisitive and masochistic. fuego takis are pictured because theyre a staple snack that jacobi will buy for her if she promises to share (she's lying and will eat the whole bag)

kitchen sin: she allows the nearly-empty cans, bottles, bowls, and bags to sit out and fester. once every 2 weeks she sets a timer and rushes through dumping it all into a giant black trash bag so that she doesn't get an infestation of ants again.

OFFICER DOUGLAS F. EIFFEL

and the "F" stands for food! eiffel definitely spends the most time talking about food. he's hungry! since his eating habits are so prominent in the show, i figured a compilation of his food and drink moments in canon would work a little bit better than my own personal extrapolation. excerpts from Limbo and Boléro were omitted.

kitchen sin: while some people might argue that pineapple on pizza belongs in this spot, i am not so judgemental. i just want him to eat from dishes that aren't visibly dirty.

Hey baby! Thanks for the ask, it’s a real interesting question! 😘

I’ll start with Sal (DR AU s/i). He loves meat, pretty much any meat. But I’d say some rare steak, fried rice and maybe some other side would be a big favorite for him. As for Claine (Blush Blush kelpie s/i for Aki), I’m not sure he needs to eat. But, if he does eat I’d assume he favors things in an equine’s diet like plants and fruit. Seaweed, berries. I don’t know if he’s ever had an actual meal type dish. But, if he joins Aki at a summer festival or something, he may enjoy the food they could buy there, as he can technically eat anything in human form. Fried squid, etc.

Virtue (Yu Feng Changed s/i) favors oranges just like Puro, and all the other fruit he the other latex end up growing. (Everyone is friendly eventually in within my ship’s world, without any humans ever bothering them.)

For Tyson, (Pokémon s/i for Adaman) I see him enjoying meat as well. Tho unlike Sal, he prefers to eat it in dumplings or whatever else kind of sandwich-like food they may have in the Arceus world. Also probably potato mochi cuz that’s all they ever fucking eat there.

My other Pokémon s/i who finally has a name, Jordan, doesn’t really strike me as a foodie. I feel like he’s picky. I also feel like if he favors any food, it’s sweets. Puddings, ice cream, mousse. That kind of thing. Everything else he just kind of has an “eh I gotta something I guess if I don’t wanna die, obviously.”

My tlou s/i, Max, was definitely a junk food junkie before the apocalypse. Bbq chips, energy drinks. I really see him liking Mexican food, burritos and tacos. Pizza, hotdogs. Anything stereotypically American lol.

im sorry i need a full rundown of all the egg dishes with descriptions and why they are in their respective categories

Went in order of the tier list.

S tier:

Tamagoyaki: Japanese rolled egg with a layer of nori(seaweed)

Tenshinhan: egg mixed with imitation crab over rice with a kind of sweet-sour sauce

Gyudon: thin beef mixed with onion and egg over rice

Deviled eggs: yolks mixed with mayo and a bunch of flavorings spooned into the white and sprinkled with paprika

Khachapuri: bread boat filled with cheese (ricotta, mozzarella, and feta for this recipe) topped with a runny egg and garnished with parsley

Shakshuka: tomato, bell pepper, and onion cooked down together with poached eggs cooked within. Garnished with feta and parsley. My mom made pita to go with

A tier:

Fried egg on toast: fried egg on toast

Egg sandwich: hardboiled egg mashed up with mayo and placed between 2 slices of bread

Toad in the hole: cut a circle into a piece of toast, place it on a hot skillet, cook egg inside hole

Scrambled eggs: beat eggs, mixed in salt and pepper, I added some grated cheese. The trick is to not fully cook the eggs

Egg tacos: for the eggs, I just scrambled some and fried another. Beneath the eggs are roasted potatoes and spinach

Egg drop soup: pretty much like a broth and when it's all hot you drizzle beaten eggs into it and it makes like egg ribbons

Chawanmushi: savory steamed egg custard. Inside it is shrimp, kamaboko(steamed fish cake), shimeji mushrooms, scallions and parsley

Jammy marinated eggs: boiled eggs for about 6-7 minutes, peeled, dropped into a marinade of soy sauce, sake, sugar. Marinated for at least 10 hours

Cured egg yolk: put egg yolks into a soy sauce and mirin marinade and let sit in fridge for I think I did 8 hours

Eggs florentine and royale: poached egg over smoked salmon and spinach covered with hollandaise sauce

Zosui: rice soup with chicken, some veggies and egg drizzle. Like if chicken rice soup was combined with egg drop soup

Ova spongia ex lacte: sweet Roman omelette. Just eggs mixed with some milk cooked into a pancake and drizzled with oil and honey and sprinkled with pepper

Eggy bread: it's just French toast. But my family calls it eggy bread

Tortilla de patatas: thin sliced potato and onion cooked together then mixed with egg and cooked into like a pancake

Ca phe trung: Vietnamese egg coffee. Cup of coffee. Mix egg yolk with sweetened condensed milk until thick. Put on top of coffee

B tier:

Cilbir: poached egg on garlic yogurt

Egg in egg cup: cooked an egg for like 4 minutes. Dipped some bread into it

Cloud eggs: whipped egg whites. Made blobs with them. Baked for a bit. Then placed yolks and baked a bit more

Meringue: whipped whites with sugar. Arranged like fried eggs. The yolk is colored yellow with saffron

Fried rice: rice, egg, mushrooms

Omelette: cheese, onion, mushroom, spinach

Egg muffins: egg, prosciutto, spinach, mushroom mixed and baked in muffin tins

Dan bing: sweet potato starch based pancake mixed with scallions rolled with a sheet of egg

Hard boiled eggs: hard boiled eggs

F tier:

Raw egg: egg fresh from the butt

Every dish I cooked (key word cooked) was delicious. Just some we're more delicious than others. S tier is some tried and true recipes that I have made a bunch and love and will continue to keep making. The new dishes there were also just outstanding. Dishes I wish I had doubled. A tier is dishes that are delicious. I'm gonna definitely make these again too. B tier were good but either I need to work shop the recipe or there's just not much else I can do before it becomes a different thing. F tier I just couldn't stand the texture of taking a shot of raw egg. Literally only one bad egg day.

Also I realized I put the meringues in B when I meant to put them in A.

The amount of each artisan item you need to make. Artisan items are recursive (if you need to make juice and wine, it'll tell you to make 2 juices), but nothing else is (if someone loves a meal that involves an artisan item, it's not keeping track of that.)
