That stream killed me btw. Brian said it was up for interpretation, and well, take one look at my username and ask how I'm going to interpret it.

Taco was built to win.

Oh my god, she was built to win. Mephone is terrible at predicting who is going to win his seasons. It could also have been on Bow that Taco lost despite her win being "planned." Taco would have won had Bow not attacked her, and Bow's entire being in season 1 is unusual compared to the other contestants with her not having been in the original lineup.

So, the initial plan would have been for Taco to win and potentially reveal herself upon getting the money. Brian mentioned in a recent stream that had Taco won, she likely would have waited for the "check to bounce" or the money to go into her bank account to reveal her actual personality. And that she may have had trouble doing this after being met with a lot of kindness and congratulations from the others after her win. GAH.

What I'm trying to get at is that even if she won, she still would have been isolated in some way. Either she reveals herself and goes off on her own, which wouldn't work out too well, seeing as she'd still be programmed to stay on the island, as I believe they all are. Or, she keeps on acting and acting, not actually connecting with the people around her and needing to keep her guard up so she doesn't get caught. In true Taco fashion, she doubles down and digs herself a deeper hole.

And then we have what actually happened. She didn't win and revealed herself. She was money-less and alone. She had nothing and no one. I'd love to say that this is the worst Taco timeline, but she isn't happy either way. Made to deceive, made to be alone. Poor thing :<.

And as a sidenote- can you imagine her finding out about this? Because I can. Learning that she really was built to win. Did she subconsciously know? Did she do something that ruined her own pre-determined fate? So... she was always meant to be alone? Owuch!!! Ow!!! Angst material!!!
