He was a Host; part of his job was flattering anyone that entered the Host Club’s room. Not to say he was lying, he honestly did like her hair. “What’s your name, miss?? Mine’s Haninozuka Mitsukuni, but everyone calls me Honey!”

                Hastily, Usagi wiped at her face, cheeks tinged pink from embarrassment. She had been lost in her thoughts, no doubt looking at troubled as they were and had been shocked out of her reverie as a flower was unceremoniously tucked into her hair, offsetting one of her signature golden buns quite beautifully. She looked up at the girl, red-rimmed blue eyes reflecting confusion and curiosity as she reached up and felt the flower in her hair.

                Pink tinged her cheeks as she realized what had happened. It was sweet, really, having a flower tucked into her hair, even if she wasn’t quite sure why. “Ah, thank you…” She smiled, packing away as much of her previous melancholia as she could to brighten her smile. Her problems were nothing to burden the brunette with. “What kind is it?”

The redhead stopped, obviously confused. The comment felt like it had come out of nowhere, and he was not really sure how to react to it at first. That much was obvious though, considering the dumbfounded look on his face.

— At the question, Sayori’s brows had furrowed. Truthfully, the girl had always had a toast for breakfast and would rush out the door due to always being late for school. Though Yuri had offered to make breakfast, and she didn’t want to raise any concern with her knowing she had that for breakfast nearly every day. So, she had to drum up something else, though she hadn’t had a proper breakfast for quite a while… Not since her parents got so busy.

“Is it too cliche to ask for bacon and eggs?” The last half of her sentence was interrupted by a yawn, and then a small giggle followed. “Sorry, didn’t sleep well last night…”

                                 MAKA’S emerald hues followed the girl’s movement with a cool detachment – at that moment there wasn’t much that Maka could feel other than her own resentment and emptiness;; how many times was this going to happen?? How many times was she going to LET this happen?? A small shiver moved down her spine sending a surge of chills across her skin – it seemed the rain was finally starting to affect her… Damn…                                   THERE was something so foreign in sitting here like this for Maka;; she couldn’t remember a time when she was the one being aided. It always seemed like HER job to make sure everyone else was taken care of, even if that meant practicing her self care at a later (( or better yet, never )) date. Wasn’t that what had gotten her into this situation in the first place?? Her desire to HELP. A breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding suddenly slipped from her lips and a moisture under her eyes with it. Was she really crying?? A tentative head moved upwards, capturing the tears before they could fall to her cheeks – what kind of hell was this?? All she wanted to do was help and somehow she was the one that ended up on the ground in the rain, knees and palms more closely resembling raw meat than skin. See if I ever come RUNNING again – He didn’t even turn around when I fell…                                   A sudden movement in the corner of her eye brought Maka back to the here and now;; slowly approaching was the very hero claiming Maka’s prize – the one who saved the day. With a push of effort Maka was able to twitch the corners of her lips upward, the usual joy unable to shine in her eyes. ❝ THANK you –      You didn’t have to help me…  ❞

Kiibo’s electronic hues sparkled with ill masked excitement and happiness. It was quite rare that someone reacted to his presence with awe rather than disappointment or insulting words. So to have someone call him cool, even if it was a simple word...it made his simulated heart beat flutter with excitement and warmth.

“I don’t often have people tell me how cool I am...this truly does make me very happy!” And even if he didn’t fully understand why it made him so happy, Kiibo wasn’t going to argue. “Please, ask me any questions you may have! I enjoy telling others about my functions!”

       he remains quiet, lips pressed together as caramel skin flushes with burnished embarrassment.  “ … m - maybe i can’t.  good idea to hold my hand, huh!!  ”
