Elliott Scottish Festival Regalia mod is now up and ready to play!

This mod changes Elliott’s festival sprites to incorporate traditional Scottish regalia for 4 of 8 festivals. (Flower Dance, Moonlight Jellies, Stardew Valley Fair, and Feast of the Winter Star.)

Elliott’s festival regalia includes: - Prince Charlie jacket and waistcoat (depending on the festival) - Collared shirt, jabot, and pin (or Jacobite Ghille Shirt) - Dress sporran and sporran strap (frontal pouch made of seal skin), - Sgian-dubh (small knife kept in the sock) - Kilt hose and flashes (socks and sock tassels) - Kilt (+ pin), - Brogues (lace-up shoes), and - Fly plaid (a long strip of plaid matching the kilt pattern, worn over the shoulder and fastened with a brooch)(depending on festival). Festival Tartan Patterns: Flower Dance: “Clan Lockhart – Ancient” Tartan Moonlight Jellies: “Reflections of the Sea” Tartan Stardew Valley Fair: “Clan Lockhart – Reproduction” Tartan Feast of the Winter Star: “Clan Lockhart – Modern” Tartan

After marriage, Elliott will wear various Tartan-patterned pyjamas around the farm and farmhouse from 6 AM to 7:30 AM and from 8:30 PM to 2:00 AM. He will change out of his pyjamas if he leaves the farm or if the farmer leaves the map and comes back after 7:30 AM.

Scottish Tartan patterns are open to anyone regardless of their family, clan, or registry origin, but I wanted to pick patterns that would mean something personal and significant to Elliott as a character.

Day 2 of the Feast of the Winter Star week

Sebastian was in one of his moods again. Nothing seemed fun, and all he wanted to do was rot in bed. And he hated how it made his wife worry about him. He just got like this sometimes. It was more common in the wintertime. He laid there with the covers up to his neck and stared at the wall.

Sometimes, Sebastian wondered why he even accepted the farmer's proposal. He was a shit husband for bringing her down with him and for being completely useless on days like these. He'd always been so useless. He hadn't finished school. He hadn't done anything with his pathetic excuse of a life. He's so selfish for chaining her to him. She deserves someone better...

A mug of hot cocoa got placed on the night stand in front of him, and his thoughts stopped for a moment. His eyes followed the hand on the mug up to the arm and then the face of his loving wife.

"Hey Seb, I know you said you didn't want breakfast, but here is something hot for your tummy." She gave him a small smile, and for a moment, her face was all he could think about. Even if it was for just a few seconds, it's a nice break from what goes on in his mind. She sat down on the bed next to him and laid a kiss on the side of his forehead. She stayed with him for a while before getting up, saying she needed to get to work. She gave his hand a little squeeze and left.

Her love gave him the strength to sit up. He took the warm mug into his hands and sipped it. It was sweet.

The Star and The Gift

‘Did you get your gift for Winter Star tomorrow?’ Dorie asked casually as she brought the hot drinks over to the table.

Harvey’s face fell, turning pale, the pink flush below his glasses draining away.

‘Oh no…’ He murmured. ‘It’s tomorrow isn’t it… The Feast is tomorrow…’

Dorie reached over the table, taking his hand in hers. ‘Harvey… what is it?’

He looked up, his face full of concern. ‘I’ve just been so busy… Winter is such an eventful and demanding season… and, well… I don’t have a gift to give.’

Dorie’s heart broke for him. He was so sweet and kind, she couldn’t imagine how terrible he would feel if he had no gift ready for the feast tomorrow. He was always so busy, taking care of the whole town, she knew she had to help him.

I was so very honoured to be given the opportunity to write a gift fic for @kaciekc and her wonderful and beloved Farmer Dorie, as part of the HLU Discord Server Winter Star 2024 Gift Exchange. Like many of us here and on the other site, I've followed her adventures and loved this magical farmer and her wonderful relationship with our sweet doctor man.

This is a very fluffy holiday story in which Dorie helps Harvey to solve a little problem on the Eve of Winter Star. I hope you enjoy it.

(Seriously though, I gasped out loud and grabbed my head. I know we're always thinking "please be a tea set" but I never expected it to actually happen XD)
