TAKE ME AWAY AU

What is Take Me Away AU?

a Team BEST focused Last Life SMP band AU set in the early/mid 2000s. it will show the rise in popularity of the band Team BEST and the eventual downfall of their band and friendship.

the story and characters are still a work in progress, but i want to share what i've come up with as i am making it and make this a team effort. the essence of their storyline in Last Life will be there, but will not be strictly followed. everyone is welcome to send me questions about the au and help me build it

Characters (more might be added over time):

Skizz Leman:

Instrument: drums

Age: 26

Job/degree: business administration

Relationships: roomate of Tango, childhood friend of Impulse

Character Traits: optimistic, charismatic, extroverted, naive

Other: quit his office job and created the band Team BEST. when disillusioned, will be the first to leave the band

B. "Bdubs" DoubleO:

Instrument: vocalist and songwriter, secondary guitar if needed

Age: 25

Job/degree: helps Etho with gigs, architecture school drop out

Relationships: love interest of Etho, friendly ex of Cleo, tense relationship with Tango

Character Traits: loves attention, stubborn, devoted, creative

Other: his ego due to fame will cause a rift in the band

Tango Tek:

Instrument: guitar and songwriter/composer

Age: 25

Job/degree: ghost songwriter and composer, music degree

Relationships: roomate of Skizz, love interest of Impulse, tense relationship with Bdubs

Character Traits: impulsive, caring, intuitive, intelligent.

Other: disagreements with Bdubs and the record label will cause a rift in the band

Etho Slab:

Instrument: Bass

Age: 23

Job/degree: gigs and handyman work for extra money, did not go to college

Relationships: love interest of Bdubs, awkwardly friendly with Cleo

Character Traits: prefers to avoid conflict, reserved, smart, insecure, sarcastic

Other: will be the last person left in the band

S. "Impulse" V.:

Instrument: drums

Age: 26

Job/degree: drummer at Southlands Records, music degree

Relationships: love interest of Tango, childhood friend of Skizz, coworker of Mumbo

Other: works at record label that signed Team BEST

Cleo Z.:

Instrument: keys, guitar, songwriter/composer

Age: 24

Job/degree: member of the band The Fairy Fort

Relationships: ex of Bdubs, awkwardly friendly with Etho, best friends with Bigb, trusted relationship with Scott

Other: at one point will be screwed over by their Fairy Fort and will join Scott and Pearl

Mumbo J. Umbo:

Instrument: work laptop (not a musician)

Age: 22

Job/degree: works at Southlands Records, recently graduated with a finance degree

Relationships: friendly with Skizz, coworker of Impulse

Other: will offer Skizz a work opportunity in the business field and convince him to leave the band

More details:

Impulse, Mumbo, Martyn, Grian, and Jimmy will work at Southlands Records in varying company departments

Cleo, BigB, Lizzie, and Ren will be part of the successful and relatively famous band The Fairy Fort. Cleo will eventually leave the band due to internal conflicts

Scott and Pearl will be a singing duo that will eventually have Cleo join them

Scar and Joel will be part of the stage crew during concerts

more characters and details will be added over time, but these are the one that are currently more established in my head
