I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm always more lenient to fictional children in difficult circumstances but Shirase can fuck right off. Never before has a character pissed me off this bad.

First off, the fact that he kept bringing up that the Sheep were the ones who gave Chuuya a home when he didn't have one, like they weren't street kids looking out for each other. Like Chuuya didn't give his heart and soul to protecting them, joined the mafia to protect them. Like what kind of fucked up guilt tripping is that. You've known each other since you were 8. The boy's as loyal as you're gonna get. Sure there's viewing him as strong and a pillar and someone who doesn't need help, but then constantly reminding him that they took him in when no one else would? That's straight up insulting Chuuya and all he is as a person. That's such a shit thing to say to anyone.

Second, he's annoying as shit. I wasn't fond of him to begin with when I read Stormbringer but he somehow managed to make me groan every time he spoke. Never have I wanted to punch a child this bad.

Not to mention the poisoned knife. Who could forget that, not Chuuya that's for sure.

His only redeeming quality is that he helped save Chuuya's life in sb. I wouldn't've cared if he died but Chuuya would've been sad so it's fine that he's alive.

If you don't mind, do you have any bsd fics where the characters feel just like the ones in canon? I like fluff and stuff, but a lot of it just feels really ooc and especially for skk or even sskk.

Maybe something about the ADA actually seeing them interact and learning to understand them? Lots of fics just make it look as if it was all common knowledge, but it's very much not, and so they skip all the juicy parts ಥ_ಥ

Or just your absolute favorite of all times, just no No Powers AU or bottom Chuuya if you wanna rec something nsfw, please?

Unfortunately for you it is the nature of fandom that everyone has slightly different interpretations and your best hope is to find authors and fellow readers who share your tastes to get what you crave. I also can't seem to remember/find a fic with a focus on exploring what you're thinking of with the ADA and skk 😔

I love the intrigue and relationship development so much. also you can feel during which chapter DA/Fifteen came out.)

Hide and Seek by Ikiyou (M, 6.2k, it's just Chuuya hurt and Dazai angst after Chuuya takes a bullet for Dazai while they're on their way to hiding in a safe house after some canon-divergeant events)

Paces (series) by writingfromtheshadows (T, 13k total, no ability medieval AU with prince Dazai and personal guard Chuuya. Open ending. It's about the yearning)

i love that chuuya is so overpowered not only in the in-universe he-could-seriously-win-every-battle way but also in the real world bc my man gets like 5min screentime a season and yet he is STILL one of the most popular characters in the show no one is doing it like him

The only thing is with the Manga pacing i don't think we are getting any new content anytime soon. The earliest i can think of is maybe in February or March.

Though maybe we can get some new shots (or a much needed explanation) of Soukoku's prison break plan... As much as i love the whole Soukoku's undying trust in each other, i still need that mind-blowing logical plans that BSD is famous for.

But there must be some way the Chuuya knew how to act around Fyodor enough to fool him into believing that he was actually under vampirism, say like a character study, that every actor needs to do before they perform. Because in this chapter, the Shock on Fyodor's face was evident, more than in Anime (how that is possible i can't exactly say, but you know what i'm saying right?), and he really seemed out of cards till this moment at least.

(Not that i believe that Fyodor is dead or will remain dead)

It's also import to note that Soukoku are not completely out of hot waters.

They are still stranded just outside the best Prison in the world

Are away from their homeland, in a completely foreign country on the other side of the world.

One of them in injured (maybe heavily)

There is a group of dangerous ability users in the country they are stranded in

And the world is still in chaos after the whole vampirism and nukes and all

So, it's still as dangerous as it gets.

Not that its anything new for this duo.

ok but i 100% agree with your cafe owner!chuuya cuz yes?? chuuya would be the type to find happiness in the smell of coffee and the whirring sounds of the machines. hc that he tried to make latte art once but it turned out so bad that he just never tried it again. kouyou is a regular at his cafe and they bond over wine after the cafe closes :)

ok but if chuuya is bad at latte art, then dazai would be a master at it. dazai being a well known latte/coffee artist(?) amongst cafe owners, and he has a habit of working at different cafes in order to learn more about making coffee. he was requested by chuuya to come work at his cafe to make latte art for the customers, and dazai readily agreed after realising that the one requesting was the most beautiful redhead he has ever seen and now he really wants to kiss him-

chuuya originally thought dazai would be a very quiet person because all the other people he has met who are good in latte art (kyouka, kouyou who’s a natural, gin etc) were all very quiet and focused people. so it was a big shock for him when he realised that yes, dazai likes to annoy the shit out of him during his shifts and propose double suicides to the ladies that come to the cafe.

but when he finally gets to watch dazai do his job properly, it’s like seeing him in a new light as he quietly foams the milk to perfection and his wrists flick as he moves the metal pitcher with practiced movements, forming the most beautiful flower he’s seen on the light brown surface of the coffee. chuuya can tell that dazai is in his own little world as he silently presents the cup to the customer, smiling quietly before going to wash the pitcher.

ok but they definitely fall in love with each other over time. chuuya starts to realise the small little habits that dazai has, like how he blows his fringe out of his face when it gets too long, or how his fingers play at the hems of his apron when he feels tired from working. and then one day dazai turns up to work with the cutest bedhead chuuya has ever seen, and with one side of his curls tucked behind his ear and oh, chuuya realises. oh.
