Redesigned all of the Dandy world (+my take on the game)

HEADCANONING TIME WWOOOOO

I like to think that ALMOST all of the toons just think they’re just playing a game of tag while collecting ichor like it’s a “capture the flag” thing. It’s in their blood (or ichor) to just be a bunch of childish and playful creatures, they are MADE for kids so it’s not really out of character of them to NOT think that twisteds are dangerous let alone kill them which cause them to see things differently (literally)

(still talking about this👆) If you start the game at first it’s all bright and colorful like something you would see out of a kid’s show, there’s happy music playing in the background all fun and games! Until you get hit by a twisted and lose a heart. Thats when the reality kicks in. Music stops as the colors slowly go back to the sad reality of an abandoned studio/daycare. These twisteds weren’t playing.. they were trying to kill you. This effect is irreversible even if you go back to full health. The shine in their eyes are gone. They aren’t laughing anymore, this isn’t funny. They’re scared.

(Note to self, each toon will have a traumatized look on their face after getting injured and will stay traumatized even after being healed+also applies to a toon when they witness a death of another toon)

I like to think that the twisted are like a “Failed” version of a toon, a toon that wasn’t the exact replica of itself so, it was locked away in the underground as it contorts into it’s biggest flaw(s) might design the twisteds if I feel like it.

If a toon witnessed another toon getting hit they’ll still be oblivious but concerned for their fellow friend

The twisteds prob growls and snarls due to their throats being filled with nothing but ichor, constantly leaking from their mouths as they try to kill you out of jealousy that YOU don’t get to be thrown away like a broken toy and instead cherished by children while they were called a mistake and now you’re going to experience the same pain they went through.

on a lighter note, the toons stole the clothes they’re wearing from the lost and found shortly after being abandoned and threw away their old clothes.

dandy needs those tapes so he doesn’t turn into a twisted. He wants to protect his friends from himself.

Ichor while being dangerous can be used to bring back a dead toon, only dandy knows this. Fortunately (or unfortunately) the toon doesn’t remember how they died after being revived

All toons are asexual. (Gets booed off the stage)

Do you think toons are desperate for interactions after being abandoned for god knows how long.

Astro, Vee and Shelly are the ones who don’t have the “fake reality” sight going on and knows that they’re actually in danger although for Shelly she’s sorta in denial (and ig Teagan and Rodger too? But the both of them just thinks that the twisteds aren’t really that dangerous and thought they wont kill their fellow toons)

★ You are Scraps’ greatest source of chaos, and she has absolutely no idea how to feel about it. One second, you’re tying Brightney’s shoelaces together, and the next, you’re slipping a fake spider on Shrimpo’s plate just to hear him scream. Scraps watches in stunned silence half the time, unsure whether to scold you or give you a high-five.

★ She thinks she’s mature… until she’s around you. If there’s one thing you’re great at, it’s dragging Scraps into your antics. She’ll start with a firm “No, we shouldn’t,” but somehow, she always ends up covered in glitter, tangled in yarn, or sprinting down the hall after setting off an airhorn.

★ You’ve definitely hidden her tail cup at least once. “Where’s my cup?! Did I lose it?! Is my tail crumpled?!” And there you are, giggling in the background while she frantically checks every corner of the room.

★ She hisses at you when you prank her—but only for a second. The moment you pop out from behind a door to scare her, Scraps lets out the most dramatic, cat-like hiss imaginable. Then she realizes what she did, crosses her arms, and mutters, “That was a warning hiss. Next time, I’m throwing claws.”

★ She 100% tries (and fails) to out-prank you. She’s got claws, craft supplies, and an overactive imagination, but for some reason, her pranks never land as well as yours. “Alright, I swear this one is foolproof.” Spoiler: It’s not. You dodge it last second and leave her groaning in defeat.

★ Tisha thinks you’re both hopeless. “So let me get this straight… You got stuck in a paper-mâché sculpture again?” Tisha sighs, already walking away to get the scissors. “How do you two even function?”

★ You’ve declared war on Shrimpo together. It started with your pranks, but when Shrimpo had the audacity to roast Scraps? Oh, it was on. You two spend an entire afternoon plotting ways to out-annoy him. “Okay, but what if we replace all his forks with spoons?”

★ You always hype up her crafts—even the disasters. “Scraps, this is amazing!” you say, holding up her aggressively lopsided sculpture of Dandy. She gives you a suspicious look. “…You’re messing with me, aren’t you?” You’re not. You genuinely love her work, even when it’s a total mess.

★ You steal her yarn just to watch her trip. Every time she complains, you just hand it back with an innocent smile. “Oh, this yarn? No idea how it got there.” She glares. She knows.

★ No matter how much you drive her up the wall, she wouldn’t trade you for anything. You’re an absolute menace, but at the end of the day, she likes having you around. “You’re lucky I put up with you,” she grumbles after you dump confetti on her head. But the little smile on her face says otherwise.

Scraps acts very catlike {hissing and playing with yarn} despite not really being a cat. Because of these behaviors though, the first few times Scraps smiles up at Vee she panics. Like “oh fuck oh fuck I did something wrong” because for cats that is not a sign of joy

★ As a big sister, Scraps has plenty of experience caring for little ones, especially since she’s so hands-on during craft time with children. Needless to say, this makes her one of the best caregivers imaginable. When it comes to you, she is incredibly creative and deeply in tune with your needs and desires. It didn’t take her long to adjust, either—if anything, she seemed genuinely happy to have someone to look after.

★ Scraps always has a set of crayons and spare paper on hand! If you start to feel bored, she’ll set up a cute table and chairs for you and hand you some coloring supplies. If you’d prefer a coloring book, don’t worry—she has plenty of those too, along with other arts and crafts materials to spark your creativity. If you get too immersed in your project, she’ll even bring you your favorite soda as a little treat while you continue crafting.

★ If you make a drawing for her, Scraps treasures it with all her heart. She’ll thank you, ruffle your hair, and eagerly search for the perfect spot to display it. Whenever someone passes by or asks about it, she proudly brags that her little one made it just for her, gushing about how wonderful it is and how much she loves it. She’ll also encourage you to create a drawing for Goob, excited to surprise him with it.

★ Despite being a skilled artist, Scraps gets nervous when others watch her draw—except for you, of course. Whenever she starts sketching, she’s perfectly comfortable with you crawling into her lap to observe. In fact, she even beckons you over to join her. Scraps happily takes requests and leaves her drawings uncolored so you can fill them in. You’ve lost count of how many times she’s sketched the two of you together.

★ When it’s time for your nap, Scraps has everything prepared. She gathers a pile of pillows and blankets, arranging them into a cozy nest. Fluffing the cushions and layering the covers just right, she creates a little cave for you to curl up in. ★ If you ever get thirsty while wandering around Gardenview with Scraps, there’s no need to worry—she always has juice boxes on hand for moments like this. As her little one, she makes sure you stay hydrated and even keeps your favorite flavors ready for both you and herself. Whenever you ask for one, her tail curls around her dress before smoothly sliding over to present the juice box to you. You always accept it with a big smile, grateful for her seemingly endless supply.

★ Scraps has plenty of nicknames for you—some of which you’re pretty sure aren’t even real words—but the one she uses most is kiddo. It’s both adorable and perfectly suits your little nature, yet versatile enough to fit any situation. Whenever you finish a chore, she pulls you into a big hug and says, “Good job, kiddo!” In her eyes, it’s the perfect name for you.

★ It’s no secret that Scraps somehow manages to win every single one of Vee’s quizzes whenever she’s asked a question. Most of the time, she’s just guessing, but that doesn’t stop her from getting the answers right—much to Vee’s reluctance when handing over the promised prizes. Scraps doesn’t have much use for these rewards, whether due to lack of space or simply not wanting them, but luckily, she has you to pass them on to! If anyone deserves them, it’s her kiddo. Plus, she knows you’ll find some way to enjoy them. Seeing your face light up when she hands you a prize always makes her day.

★ For some reason, Scraps has a bunch of plain white dresses, and she finds them incredibly dull. They lack color and creativity, so as a fun playdate, she brings out the paint and invites you to help transform them! The two of you spend hours covering the fabric in bright colors and little doodles until every dress becomes a vibrant work of art. By the end, your hands and face are covered in paint, but that’s no problem—Scraps cleans you up after setting the dresses aside to dry. Once they’re ready, she wears them all the time, feeling much happier knowing you helped make them special.

★ Occasionally, Scraps lets you do her makeup, just as she sometimes allows Goob to. Handing you a full box of crayons, she sits patiently while you get to work on her face. Sometimes, you simply have fun, covering her in silly patterns and doodles, much to your amusement and her mild confusion. Other times, you genuinely try to make her look good—coloring the lines on her face, adding whiskers, or even giving her a tiny nose to complement her cat-like features. If she particularly likes your work, she proudly wears it for the rest of the day, basking in the compliments from the other toons—both for herself and for you. Looks like you’ll be doing her makeup more often!
