SCP Scenarios: When they cheat on their S/O (REQUESTED)

A/N: Guys, I'm so sorry for the extreme delay, I was trying to study, work and move houses at the same time with a writer's block as well, I'll try my best to finish all the requests in the coming months if I can

(I kind of just assumed that you meant the SCPs cheating on the reader, but if that's not what you meant, then please do tell me)

SCP 073 (Cain)

This is a hard one considering that I do headcanon him as being a loyal partner

I just can't see him as being unfaithful and going out on cheating on his partner, sorry :,(

But hypothetically speaking, if Cain were to cheat on his S/O, he would probably be drunk af

Would be quite apologetic and try to explain to his S/O that something came over him when he was drunk

Definitely would be heartbroken and probably would ask for another chance because his S/O means so much to him

If his S/O decides to break up with him, he would most likely cry for days and would have a loss of appetite

Definitely would blame himself for the breakup

343 and 105 couldn't even get him to come out of his containment

Didn't even answer the door, even if it was his reluctant little brother, Able

If his S/O does decide to forgive him, he would be as joyful as ever and swore to never drink alcohol ever again

Definitely sticks to his partner like a lost puppy because he doesn't want to do something he'll regret that would hurt them

SCP 076-2 (Abel)

Abel's a little difficult to write ngl

He's quite a wild card and a mix

Probably wouldn't cheat on his S/O either unless he was doing something stupid like getting drunk with Cain, except this time, it's more plausible for him to cheat compared to 073

Definitely would regret it the next morning with him waking up next to a stranger

Tries to hide the fact that he unintentionally cheated

Cain, Iris, and 'God' are the only ones who know, but a conversation with you made Iris slip by accident which made you furious

Breaking up with Abel was pretty difficult only because Abel did get down on his knees and begged for you to not leave him

Cain would be hiding behind the door watching his brother's heart gets torn apart painfully and he would leave because it hurts him too

His S/O probably does actually end up breaking up with him and most likely would move on happily

However, if his S/O does decide to stay in the relationship, Abel would be all up in their alley and never let them go ever again

Cain would be put in charge of not letting his brother drink ever again

SCP 999 (Tickle Monster)

THIS CUTIE BLOB BOY WOULD NEVER

If, however, hypothetically speaking, 999 does end up cheating, this blob must've been possessed or something

Because there's still no way I can see 999 cheating, just like I mentioned with Cain

Let's just assume that 999 got possessed or something, he would feel quite guilty when he does it

It's because he can't control himself physically, but he can see what he's doing

Is mentally scarred and when he gets his body back he would apologise to you profusely

Would do anything just to get you back because you mean the world to him

The foundation would literally b in tears watching him having his heartbroken

If you knew that he was possessed, then you would've forgiven him

However, if you didn't then there's a slight chance that you would just move on

SCP 682 (Hard to destroy reptile)

There's a slight chance that 682 would actually cheat on you

But in this AU, everyone's loyal, so it's kinda hard for me to headcanon each character to cheat on their S/O

He's probably cheating on you out of retaliation for making him mad or something along those lines

Does instantly regret his decisions and tries to get back to you without telling you

Depending on whether you find out or not, 682 might try and cover up his mess and be a little nicer to you just to keep you with him (cuz we all know that barely anyone likes this mf lizard let alone date him)

If you somehow found out, you would, quite rightfully so, get mad and explode

682 would literally shrivel up in the corner out of fear because you're worse than him when you're raging at him

The foundation probably would be equally as terrified and amused by your reaction and how 682 would literally run from you

Whether you want to date him again is up to you, but if you choose not to, then 682 would probably keep asking you for another chance but would leave you be and cry in his acid bath after countless rejections

SCP 049 (Plague Doctor)

049 is very much loyal to his partner, however, in the chance he does cheat, he's most likely bored af or you're annoying him way too much

Either that or it's a prank 035 made, but that's another story for another day

Probably would cheat on you with another human/SCP if he senses the pestilence on you and doesn't actually want to kill you

He just wants to distance himself from you so he doesn't actually try to kill you unintentionally because it's his 'hobby'

Is very much worried for your safety because of him

049 is even more worried if you just decide to isolate yourself from the world and everyone's asking him where you were because they just wanted to party

He would 100% comply with the foundation and help look for you, even if it means that you'd come back with a grudge against him

Once you're back in the foundation, the researchers decided to put you both in a containment cell in hopes that you would explain why you had left without a notice

Unbeknownst to them, you started to scream at our poor bird doctor because of him cheating on you and didn't give him a chance to explain, so the researchers had to pry you off him

They managed to ask him what had happened which he does explain, and so, they went to give you a little check-up and explained 049's side of the story

Needless to say, you went into the doctor's cell and gave him a good ol' hug

SCP 035 (Possessive Mask)

This boi right here is clearly a playboy until he had met you

Was literally having a rave with some other SCPs and foundation staff because it was Christmas

Some gal became very fond over 035 and decided to hook up with that masked individual, so she took it upon herself to go up to 035 and have him wrapped around her fingers

Unfortunately for you and 035, you decided to enter the room at such a perfect time to catch some woman on 035's lap

035, of course, was quite stunned and shocked when he saw you enter the room while he was in such a compromising position and tries to push the lady off him

And yet, you still ran away from him and threatened to break up if he didn't explain

Struggling to believe him, you allowed him 5 minutes to explain his end of the story and allowed yourself to calm down with the intention to ask the other woman about his issue

When you found her, she smirked and tries to grab 035 to which you slapped her across the face

The slap was so loud that everyone heard and looked over despite the loud music playing in the background

You then grabbed 035 to your shared cell and decided to discipline 035

Needless to say, 035 was disciplined and stayed by your side like the puppy he is

SCP 105 (Iris)

Another SCP who wouldn’t cheat on you

Probably would’ve been drunk or been blackmailed to cheat on you

If Iris was drunk and ended up cheating on you she would apologize profusely and wouldn’t forgive herself

She would do anything to make you happy and if that means breaking up with her she would hide in her room and cry for days

If it was the latter she would ask Cain and Abel to make sure you’re fine and wouldn’t even look at you if you happened to be in the same facility

You would most likely be confused and would ask her about it and she’d ignore you

She won’t tell you unless necessary because she just wants to keep you safe

Cain and Abel would most likely be the ones explaining the situation

SCP 106 (Old Man)

He'd most likely cheat when he's extremely stressed, but he'd regret it later

Tries to be honest with you, but doesn't have the guts to do so

So instead, he would pray that you don't ever find out

Plot twist, you do and of course, you're not proud of it

106 would plea with you but to no avail, and would cry in his pocket dimension

It's quite unlikely that he would come out of it unless it's you that's telling him to get tf out of his pocket dimension like the chicken he is

If you do forgive him because you love this old man that much, then he would also stay by your side for all of eternity

SCP 096 (Shy Guy)

THIS BBY HERE WOULD NEVER--

It's more likely that some other gal tries to seduce him and him crying because he loves you sooooooooo much :)

And you being an amazing partner that you are would understand him and probably try and hunt for that person who flirted with your man

096 would probs try and stop you from trying to murder everyone on-site but ofc that doesn't help

However, if you were there at the scene, that gal would get a huge smack in the face without hesitation

If there were some misunderstandings, because a certain someone spread false rumors, then 096 would try and gain back your trust and cry

If you decide to break up with him he would cry endlessly and his cries would be more heartbreaking and louder than before

SCP 1678-A (Bobbies/Policeman)

Also has -0.000001% chance of cheating on you

And if he did, it's most likely him being an undercover policeman (Don't ask, just go with the flow)

If he's been caught being a little too 'friendly' with another person, he would try and explain it to you

1678(a) would be worried af for you because you yeeted yourself out with tears running down your face

If you wanted to break up with him, he would def be heartbroken but accepts it

His fellow friends would try and talk to you both but they're stopped by him

If you do understand and decided to stay with him, he would assume that he broke a little bit of trust in you so he tries his best to make it up to you whenever and however he can

SCP 079 (Old AI)

Probably thinks that it was fun, to begin with (if you know his wiki then you know)

Most likely would show it off in front of you just because he knows he has you wrapped around his 'fingers'

However, once he had his fun he would go back to you, only to find out that you've locked yourself inside whilst crying

After a while, 079 would regret it because you're the only one who cared about him, aside from 682

Tries to change for you so he begs you to forgive him

If you decide to move on, then 079 would lock himself in his cell and weep for quite a while

682 is called in to help deal with the mess

Part of him wants to tear you apart from hurting his best friend, but the other part of him saw you as another close friend and somehow respects you

If you do decide to stay with him, even though it's a terrible idea knowing how he treated ya, then he would be joyful and swore to do whatever you wanted him to do

SCP 343 (God)

Def doesn't have the heart to cheat on you But if he, hypothetically, cheated on you, he would most likely use his godly powers so you wouldn't know He'd also erase everyone's memories so nobody will ever remember it if they do witness him cheating on you The exception to that is SK and 2845 or you have some supernatural abilities too Assuming that you're friends with either or both of them, one of them would probs reverse the mind powers 343 and tell you about it

If and when you find out, he’ll just sigh and ‘explain’ to you and allow you to decode ether you want to stay or not

If you decide to stay, he’d be surprised and will continue on with the relationship while keeping an eye on you

If, however, you decide to leave him, he’ll let you leave

SCP 173 (Sculpture)

Most likely will cheat on you a few times but not as much as the Scarlet King

173 would probably not care at all

Well at first at least

He's more like a playboy more than anything with you as his main bitch

I think after a while, he might feel some sort of guilt afterward since you're the only one who cares about him mentally and physically

If you found out he was cheating early on, he wouldn't even care at all

However, if you found out later, either from one of the ladies/men or from him, he would pretend to not care at all but he does

TBH breaking up with him isn't hard at all and you'd be heartbroken for a week nut you'll recover

For 173, if you broke up with him early on then he wouldn't feel a thing until months later

Otherwise, he would try and make it up to you but would give up if you persisted on breaking up with him

SCP Scarlet King

He'll 110% cheat on you and in front of you as well

Without any shame at all

Like he has so many wives already

Well, for them it's not really by choice so it's not like they would care too much, but for you, he treated you so much differently and it was evident

If it's been going on for a while, one of the wives would probably tell you and you both would spy on him together

Which would ofc shatter your heart into pieces despite knowing that this could happen

But you were heads over heels for this demon SCP so that's a you problem

TBH if you broke up with him early on, he wouldn't care and won't even bat an eyelash at you

His wives would def beat tf outta him without shame and would comfort you after

If you broke up with him much later then he would probably laugh at you and tell you that you were quite dense for not noticing

I think with Scarlet King, he'd be the more cold hearted one among everyone else on the list

Dr Jack Bright

Jack Bright would do it for the LOLs tbh

Most likely would change bodies to not get noticed at all

He started out as some summer fling just cuz he can

It's until you noticed he went out earlier and earlier and came back late at night

You'd also notice he would more often than not, come back in different bodies and smelt like smoke and alcohol

Assuming that you went to confront him, he would probably brush it off

If you kept on pestering him every second of the day, he would eventually tell you and watch you burst into tears

At first, he just stared blankly as if it was normal, but eventually, he felt like his heart shattered into pieces

You gave him the silent treatment while he went to Dr Glass for some advice and to cry out his pain

Poor Glass had to drag him back to you for you both to sort out your mess

Bright probably begged for you to not break up with him since you were the only one who understood and cared for him

If you eventually decide to break up then he would be depressed for centuries

Dr Simon Glass

Just like Cain, I don't think he'll ever cheat on you tbh

But assuming he did, it's probably a one-night stand and someone probably drugged him or something

Would feel guilty for days and would try and play it off only to realize it's making him more and more miserable

Eventually, he would tell you about it and ofc you'd be pissed since he didn't mention it earlier

You'd def give him the silent treatment and Glass would just hide in his office in such a depressed state only for Bright to barge in and bother him

Bright def heard the rumors and confronted him and you about it

Because it's Bright, he somehow managed to find a way to cheer you both up and bring you both back together

You'd have to keep a close eye on Glass and everyone else

If he were to go out drinking, you would either go with him or ask someone to accompany him

Dr Alto Clef

Just like Bright and 173, he would do it just for the funsies

Has multiple flings before your relationship and during, but not as often as some of the other guys on the list

Won't feel too guilty tbh

Might actually tell you that he was cheating and takes you to Kondraki and Glass so you can sob

Bright was probably with Clef while he was having a fling but did mention multiple times to tell you

Clef would probably feel a bit of heartache but just turned a blind eye to it

Kondraki encouraged you to break up with Clef and it took you weeks to do this (Cuz y'all are stubborn af nowadays)

Eventually when you both broke up Clef most likely would feel guilty like months later and just watch you from afar

If you found another partner, Clef would probably congratulate with a smile you if he was to walk past and would drop the smile once he was out of your sight

Def knows he won't be getting you back anytime soon but would try his best to snatch you away again

Dr Benjamin Kondraki

Another one that's unlikely gunna cheat on you

Probably was drunk and did it without thinking twice because he's depressed af

You notice that he came back with the smell of alcohol and hickies to which you would comment on it the day after

The next morning, Kondraki would be in a daze and would vaguely remember what he did the night before

Def would run up to you if you weren't there with him in the morning and attempts to explain everything

Ofc he gets the silent treatment as you debated to whether you wanted to break up with him

Clef and Bright would just listen behind a wall in case you wanted to burst out in anger and sadness

Glass probs would try and calm everyone down

Whether or not you wanted to break up with him, he felt guilty for months and won't even try and leave your side

If you broke up with him, he would come back with bruises from you trying to get him out of your sight

I've just finished Desert Skies after relistening to Midnight Burger for the third time, but there's still a burger-shaped hole in my heart that Welcome To The Horizon just doesn't seem to fill.

do you maybe know of any podcasts with a similar vibe? for me it's very about "outcasts in a very surreal scenario with a dash of comedy and strong characterisation"

I decided to break down you request into "outcasts in situations", "surreal", "comedy", and "strong characters", and recommend some shows that have multiple of these traits. I've roughly listed the traits in order of how prevalent they are.

SCP: Find Us Alive (strong characters, surreal, outcasts in situations, comedy): This show might be the closest thing to Midnight Burger out there, but it's still very different. It's set in the SCP universe, where a covert foundation studies and hides things that break the laws of the universe. The show is set in a Foundation research site that gets transported into a pocket dimension, and focuses on the characters adapting to their weird situation and attempting to escape. It's also in some ways a workplace comedy. You will get more out of this show if you are already familiar with the SCP universe, but since the show is entirely contained within a pocket dimension you don't miss too much.

Wolf 359 (strong characters, outcasts in situations, comedy, surreal): Wolf 359 is an absolute classic audiodrama, a good percentage of modern audiodramas are inspired by it. The main characters are the crew of Hephaestus Station, a deep space outpost looking for signals from alien life. For the first 10 episodes or so it's a comedy, but after that the plot really picks up. Fairly similar vibes to Midnight Burger, though the way the characters are written is very different.

Girl in Space (outcasts in situations, strong characters): A girl has spent her entire life alone on a spaceship orbiting a star. The only people she has ever talked to were her parents and a dysfunctional AI. All she wants to do is do science and rewatch Jurassic Park. Of course, other people have to come along and ruin it. This show is a lot like (and probably inspired by) Wolf 359, in the "set on a remote space station with lots of weird hidden secrets in it" sense.

Midst (surreal, strong characters, outcasts in situations): Midst is hard to describe. It's somewhat similar to Midnight Burger, but only in that both of them are so different from everything else out there. Midst is a surreal space western with very unique worldbuilding, and, in favor of a full voice cast, three narrators who narrate together, like people sitting around a fire telling a story. If you aren't sure about this one, listen to the first 2 minutes of the first episode, it stats off with a bang, literally.

The Strange Case of Starship Iris (outcasts in situations, strong characters): Think the tv show Firefly, but its super queer. That's basically TSCOSI. In a sci-fi setting where the human government is evil, the main characters are a group of smugglers being gay and doing crimes on their ramshackle spaceship. It also has a little bit of comedy, but less than Midnight Burger.

Mission Rejected (comedy, outcasts in situations, strong characters): "This is your mission, should you choose to accept it." What happens when the superspy declines a mission? The backups are called in, of course! A pencil pusher, an intern, a failed actor, and a hacker on work release are brought together to take on the spy missions that superspy Chet Philips declines. This show is a parody of spy tropes, with surprisingly strong character writing for such a silly comedy. Hope you like volcano lairs, silly accents, and villains that refuse to stay dead!

Fall of the House of Sunshine (surreal, comedy, strong characters, outcasts in situations(in the later seasons) ): This show is as surreal as it gets! A terrible noir detective investigates the murder of a kids tv show host via a bullet fired through a rift in space time, and gets sucked into a secret war between a cult of dentists and living puppets. Oh yeah, and its a musical! If you like the sound of that, this show is for you. Every season is an escalation of the previous one. Like Mission Rejected, I care about the characters shockingly much for how thoroughly ridiculous this show is.

If you want some more recommendations, I can find you some more, but these ones are the closest I found. I'll admit that the last couple are a stretch, but I just really like those shows and take every opportunity to recommend them.

— Dmitry doesn't take much care of his image and his being very busy often distracts him from having a correct diet. He doesn't eat often and if he does he doesn't get enough protein. it is Claire who reminds him to eat, often making time to prepare his meals.

— Dmitry has a large, visible burn scar on his face and the contrast with his naturally pale skin makes it stand out even more.

— it's been years since the incident, yet he still can't fully talk about it. too many bad memories are linked to his scar and he usually avoids mirrors so as not to see his reflection in them.

VOICE: Cold and low

— Dmitry speaks slow, his voice seems monotonous

— His voice seems to have no soul. It is cold and emotionless. -------

EYES: Purple/pinkish and blinded

— His left eye looks purple, closer to a purplish while the right one completely destroyed by the acid.

— If before he had difficulty seeing, now he can be considered almost blind and his eyes are the reason he is learning braille. His right eye is completely destroyed by the acid, the iris is opaque and the sclera is red. The remaining eye of him is not the best, the iris transparent and the pinkish color is due to the blood vessels visible in the eye.

To be a researcher of the foundation, one must also be intelligent and Dmitry certainly is and this is to his advantage in many areas, even when it comes to escaping from unpleasant situations. -Dedicated only to his job. So dedicated and passionate about his work that he almost forgets to eat. He loves his position as a psychiatrist, it's an area he's always had a fascination with. The human mind is so full of mysteries to him. -Great team with Claire when it's possible. The smart one and the one who gets her hands dirty. Overall the two make a good team together and are able to overcome to almost all challenges NEGATIVE TRAITS: -Empathy? What is that? Despite his work as a psychiatrist, Dmitry often finds himself not empathizing with the patient in front of him or with anyone else. -Aggressive and often cold. His personality and lack of trust in others has made him an empty shell. Most of the time he comes across as distant and very confrontational with everyone, even with who should be the people closest to him. -Manipulator...and gaslighter. Especially with his sister, Dmitry is very manipulative. He often invents scenarios that never happened just to make her feel bad about it for days. To say Claire feels bad about this is an understatement. -Silent treatment. If he's angry he doesn't say why and when he does he can be silent for days. It is a torture for the others. -Ambitious. Ambition is good but not when it comes to his own where he would do anything to achieve his goals. -Smarter and above everyone. His thinking that he could decieve everyone and everything would be his own demise at the end.

TRIVIA -He has a ball albino python named diablo. He feeds him frozen rats or the ones that the janitor gave him for the snake. -He still has morals and can't stand people doing harm towards children or animals. -NPD (narcissist personality disorder) -His office it's almost always dark as he can't stand the light. -He hates when people touch his hair. He loves them way too much to even cut them and, in fact, they are long af. -Dmitry is anomalous. -He is a psychic than can walk through other people's dreams. -He can replace memories thanks to that. -The SHRP would be the ones that kill him at the end. He stepped way too forward with his experiments and pissed the wrong people off. -Victor penz would be the one to kill him with a gunshot

SUMMARY OF HIS STORY (STILL NOT SO DONE)

Dmitry was the first of the two to be born within two minutes of his twin sister Claire. It is not known where they were born, only that their mother gave birth to them somewhere in the United States. Raised in the hostile environment of the foundation but with the loving care of their mother Mandy Ross, a former nurse in the US Navy. Their father? Locked in the same site where they were born, metal walls separating this potentially dangerous man due to the toxic, potentially lethal nature of his body. In the early years of their lives, the twins immediately reveal themselves as curious troublemakers, always looking for other children like them to socialize with and will end up bonding closely with one of them in particular: Ira Watts, whom they will consider for life as a brother. Mandy, for reasons still unknown to them, decides to leave them and the foundation to join the GOC, leaving the twins and the adoptive brother to look after themselves with claire being the main caretaker for them with the help of Maria, who Dmitry would get extremely affectionate to as she is the one to guide and assist him during his studies. As the three separates just when they reach their adolescency, Dmitry was sent for a few years to study medicine and later psychiatry at a different facility than the site where he was born. Unfortunately here, the foundation will learn of his anomaly and some experiments will begin that will cost him whole days. Unbeknownst to him, they'll make him sleep a lot to see what he can do in other people's dreams. Eventually, at the end of his studies, he will reunite with his sister and soon after the accident with his father will take place which will leave him permanently injured not only physically but also mentally. The gases that he will inhale thanks to the acid will cause him to go into a coma that will go on for a few days, where he will hear everything and especially what the doctors will say, realizing that he means nothing to the foundation. The experience will leave him completely changed, developing questionable behaviors to say the least, especially towards his sister and without any specific motivation other than that he considers her a good-for-nothing who hasn't lifted a finger to save him. Their relationship will be so ruined that it will no longer be repairable. later on the two were approached by a man from the Internal Security Department (ISD) who was determined to recruit them as they were loyal members of the foundation. The two naively accepted and it was that meeting and that assignment that led them to site 5c where they still reside nowdays.

So, technically, the world Lily Veselka comes from has ended. It's classified as an end of human conscious scenario (I forgot the specific terminology for it, lol), so.. hypothetically, it would be possible for Jacqueline to end up there at some point? Yes? No?

Alright so I already wrote this all out and accidentally deleted the draft so this response my be more concise than what I initially wrote down.

This is actually something I’ve thought about before, and it is certainly possible, likely, even. That said, I don’t think I’ll include it in Devil’s Advocate, as fun as it would be, as fitting it into the storyline in a way that doesn’t feel like a detour would be difficult.

I feel a little bad talking about Lily when I've only included her in Voices Carry, so she's not the most well-defined to my readers. That said, assuming Lily 'wins' at the end of SCP-3002 (which I do), she's probably realized that it's difficult to find a good conversation partner when you can read and influence the minds of just about anyone. Lily would be a little desperate to find someone, anyone, she can have a real interpersonal interaction with. She's desperate to find some way to validate her own identify and existence, and aside from that, keeping the world running in perfect harmony would just be so boring after a while.

Jackie, on the other hand, might let her curiosity get the better of her when it comes to Lily. She is a bit of a nerd, after all you don't get into her situation by putting science after your other priorities, and how many times do you get to have a conversation with the apocalypse? Lily can be downright personable, if more than a little vindictive. Besides that, it would probably be a good idea to humor her to at least get some good information. Also Jackie why were you spending your final moments thinking about another woman

In the sense of each parties having a fascination with each other, one in order to validate herself and the other being more like unsatiable curiosity, I can see that being yuri. I'd imagine Lily is also somewhat on the possessive side (no pun intended) with things she wants, as she's not used to not getting her way. If you were looking for drama here, that is.

As you guys know, 105 is Iris Thompson, the girl who can manipulate reality through photographs. In SCP 5000, the Foundation decides to destroy all humanity to save us from a much worse fate at the hands of the Entity, also known as IT. It just so happens to be that those are Iris Thompson's initials. That's not just a coincidence, as in SCP 3002, there is a girl that shows up in every person's memories in a single town. Recalling the memory is often a chaotic process, and sometimes causes the individual distress. They recall the girl from their childhood was Eastern European (same as Iris I think) who was new to their school. In all memories she was a pale, blond girl (also same as Iris) Lily Veselka, which can be translated and interpreted as Iris. Put simply, when you tell someone about the memory, whatever 3002 is gets access to that person's memory. FULL access. Capable of removing altering and replacing any memory, it can effectively change a person's actions and personality. Then, it can pretty much take over your mind. In this way it could easily create a MK Class EOTW scenario (end of human consciousness). Other GoIs have said about the anomaly "you should have seen this coming" and "we fear She is among us now." Now what does all of this have to do with 5000? The Entity, the 3002 entity, IT, Iris Thompson…. they're all suspiciously similar and I theorize that they are the same person. At the end of the 3002 document is a proposal for dealing with 3002, no description, and we don't know whether it was approved or not. But I think that it was, and furthermore it spawned Project PNEUMA from the 5000 article, where through PNEUMA research they connected the dots, just like I did here. (Probably not realizing it was Iris though.) So they decide to eliminate humanity themselves, instead of leaving IT (Iris) to mess with our consciousness at her will, possibly putting us through much worse than death. Why didn't IT just take over the world then? The 5000 process did take a long time, after all. Well it's because IT/3002 was put under an anti-meme, which limited its effects but only for a short period of time, allowing the Foundation to carry out their plan. All along IT had been playing along, with joining Alpha-9 and being docile and all that, only because it was under influence of the anti-meme. As you might know, in the end Pietro manages to stop the world from ending and resets reality back to the time before the Foundation decided on destroying humanity. But he also reset it back to a time where they had no idea what IT could do. Basically, after the reset, IT had free rein. The Foundation losing was the bad ending.

as far as i know, the mandela catalogue is the first recreyo episodes with glitches. however, the glitches doesn’t seem to have any connection with recreyo chan. although, this may be when recreyo chan is connecting to the channel. curt did “text” someone named “Recreyo-Chan” in the AI episode, appx 11:22. the first rc sighting was the dr.stone episode at 9:31, with the mandela episode in between the two. notably, the mandela catalog is about alternates shapeshifting to replacing someone, which happened in "Officially Announcing the New Recreyo Member" 0:57, when den glitched into recreyo chan for a second.

now, i thought the thumbnail for observation duty was weird. ivan walking away from curt’s (presumably) dead body, it had barely any correlation with the episode. in the picture, ivan was not illustrated with pupils/iris, suggesting that he was an alternate. (which, when you look at the guy, it is safe to assume..) curt’s hand vaguely resembled a handgun, which when combined with his pose, is a reference to Mark Heathcliff’s death in the mandela catalogue. if the mandela catalogue have any relevance with the glitch lore, like how the scp universe is very important to the plot, the mandela might prove to be important too, or at least have a lore of it's own.

Cannot differentiate genders. Literally cannot. The only thing he knows is that some people have a body like that and others like that other thing. This has lead to many (many) funny scenarios.

Has one (1) soft spot and that spot is named Iris Thompson. If anything happens to her he will result to murder.

SCP 105 - Iris (New Character)

First Encounter You both met when you accidentally walked into Iris. This caused you both to accidentally drop your lunch and she felt so bad that she went up and got you another one. Later on, you both started to hang out big by bit and became close friends. Not only that, you've met Abel, though only through observation, and Cain, who was friendly and gave you a tour since you were new to the place.

Your Feelings for Her You've realised that you had feelings for her when you felt your heart pounded from just the thought of her came up. This was made prominent when Iris became more shy and attempted to flirt with you every time you both saw each other. Poor Cain was just sat there awkwardly while the other doctors began to notice the strange behaved and started to ship you both. It wouldn't have been too hard if it wasn't for the fact that you both were shy and awkward. Some like Clef and Bright would tease you where as Glass and Kondraki would just be in awe.

Her Confession Following the events from the above point, both you and Iris asked each other out a few hours after and you both said yes at the same time. Unfortunately for the both of you, you both happened to be outside of 035's testing room where he possessed a guy and heard the whole thing. Word spread across the foundation and everyone would either tease or be in awe from the sight of you both together. Cain would pop up now and again to check up on you and you both would tease him because he doesn't even have a partner yet and he's acting like a grandpa. You both constantly have him grey hair from your childish antics.

Date Dates with Iris would be rather sweet and most of the time, you'd be visiting others or just chilling. Sometimes you'd even go to 'God' and just have some small talks. Other times you'd be with 999 where you would share treats and enjoy the rest of your days outside. But most of the time, you'd be spending time alone together in her cell or if you're allowed to, have a stroll just outside the facility, with some guards monitoring you both obviously.

When she's jealous Don't. Ever. Make. Her. Jealous. Ever.

She looks kind and gentle on the outside, but in the inside, she could kill you instantly if she wanted to. The person who hit on you learnt this the hard way. Poor person thought you was single and attempted to flirt but failed miserably. Of course, our girl here, Iris, witnesses this in the corner and went out of her way to take you back. And arm over your waist and she stared daggers which sent shivers to the poor guy as he just ran. You thought she was cute and when she was flustered. Needless to say, you both stayed up the whole night.

When there's a containment breach Iris would be the mother hen when it came to containment breaches. She'd constantly worry about you which motivated her to search for you without rest and wouldn't listen to anyone at all. Not even 343, 999 or Cain. You'd be a bit more chilled about this, but you'd worry just as much and would instantly look for Iris if you weren't with her in the first place. One time you almost got hurt and Iris refuses to leave you alone ever again. This, of course, surprised the staff because they've never seen her so protective of you.

Yandere!SCP 105 Yandere!Iris would be the same as Jealous!Iris but with more possessiveness and a slight anger issue. Like she'd tie you up if she's feeling overly jealous and perhaps torture you if you'd flirt back just because. However, if she's feeling generous, she'd just have an arm around you and show some affection while staring venomous daggers to whoever if grabbing your attention. In conclusion, Iris would never ever attempt to hurt you on purpose and she's overly soft. Unless provoked obviously. Sometimes you'd even tell her that she's being paranoid and obnoxious to which she claims it's for your safety and she doesn't want anyone to take you away from her since she's experienced many things in the foundation.

How she reacts to her angry!S/O Let's say you both are such a loving and calm couple, so you both making each other mad would be rare and if it were to happen, you'd both cheer each other up. In this case, someone was trying to hit up Iris, your girl, and wanted to asked her out in a date. You overhearing this decided to storm up to the guy and gave him a good old punch in the eye which did resulted in him being taken to the medics. Iris had to restrain you and calm you down as the guards had to escort you both out of the area temporarily. Luckily, you went back to being your old self and had a talk with Iris to which she replied that you looked cute and hot when you're mad.

When someone tries to steal you away Iris' reaction wouldn't be too far of from jealous and Yandere!Iris but albeit softer and more worried. The only reason why someone would steal you away is either they're obsessed with you or they needed Iris to do something for them. In this case, the kidnapper wants Iris to do something for him because he has a hard time finding a certain SCP. He, let's call him John, was able to kidnap you because you weren't with Iris. You were supposed to meet up with her at 10:00 am but you never showed up. Iris went looking for you for 5 hours and none of the researchers had an idea of where you could've been. That's until a kind soul went to help Iris by contacting the O5 Councils and Bright went in to search. Turns out, John worked with the Serpents Hand and needed Iris to search for the SCP who kidnapped his younger brother, who in turn, worked for Chaos and Insurgency (Complicated, I know 😅). Luckily Dr. Bright and Iris managed to find you before anything could happen and Iris never left your side ever since.

Some sort of anomalous effect, Iceberg deduced, scanning the dark material. Not touching it. He would not make that mistake. It was likely caused by SCP-4231's anomalous capabilities, specifically a typical stress response. So Wojciechowski had not managed to sedate it, then. The failure would be noted.

The fact that the bullet shells scattered across the floor were non-lethal was noted as well. That was likely not an anomalous effect. So the attempts to stop this termination were non-lethal as well? He hadn't expected differently of Wojciechowski, really. Gears would not appreciate that his hypothesis had been correct.

Gears. His assistant would prefer that he come back unharmed, wouldn't he? Objectives clicked into place in Iceberg's mind. Personal safety would have to be a concern, then. Not a priority, exactly, but a concern nonetheless.

Protecting 239, on the other hand, was a priority. Subduing 4231 was a priority. So he would take whatever measures were necessary.

The comm in Iceberg's ear buzzed, receiving an incoming signal. He allowed it through. "Status?"

"Iceberg? Oh, thank fuck." Wojciechowski's voice came through in a nearly inaudible crackle. It was strained, Iceberg noted. Injuries, then, were likely. "You have to stop Arlens. He's going for-"

"239. I'm aware." Iceberg's eye twitched slightly. "Status, Wojciechowski."

"Alive. Beat-up. Did you know Lens liked locking people into empty containment cells? Or breaking their ribs?" Wojciechowski coughed. "I sure fucking do. He tracked me down and shoved me into a room with no shadows. Fuck knows where James Talloran is. God, when I find him--"

"We'll address your revenge later. Where is 4231?"

"Jesus." Wojciechowski swore. "Don't call him that!"

"I'll call him what I like, director. Where is it?"

"He is going for the butterfly chamber." The other man laughed. "Not that he's getting in. I made sure of that. He'd have to cause a CK-Class scenario to get in, and... well. He likes his being 4231 about as much as I do."

"Do you really think we can rely on its discomfort with a number? It blew up your doors, Wojciechowski. It deserves to be an SCP right now." Iceberg's expression was almost cold enough to be called a scowl. Almost. "Evacuate your personnel. I will handle your breach myself."

The comm was silent.

"... you're going to kill him?"

"If it's necessary." And it almost certainly was. "Evacuate your men, Francis."

Iceberg could practically hear the silent fury on the other end.

Finally, finally, Wojciechowski answered.

"No."

"Then neutralize it yourself," Iceberg ordered. "I don't have time for your sexual tension. Get it under control and make sure it doesn't cause a goddamn breach. I will handle 239 myself."

"... Fine." Wojciechowski growled on the other end. "Don't get in my way. You're a very replaceable man, Doctor Gilles. That assistant of yours deserves a promotion anyway."

"I'd be happy to sign one for him," he responded. "Get your pet project under control."

There was the sound of a comm being crushed under rubber soles.

Iceberg sighed, turning his own comm off. The dramatics. Honestly. If he didn't want his pet SCP terminated he shouldn't have let it try to kill a little girl.

Especially not that little girl.

Iceberg stepped through the halls with a purpose, a hand on the grenades hanging from his belt.

"Damn it!" Butterfly slammed a fist against the closed door to 408's containment cell, anger burning bright inside him. He could feel the flickering life of his butterflies inside, the familiar feel of it only fuelling his fury. "G-d damn it, Clef. You and your g-ddamned lockdowns."

The 408s couldn't get out. Not with those protections. Butterfly had a feeling what was in place had been set up a long time ago, and it hadn't been meant to keep them in.

No. It had been to keep him out.

Damn Clef. Damn his director, planning and planning and lying his way through questions, through explaining what protections were on what. Damn the fact that terrifying competence had been turned to...

To what? To the whims of a little girl high on her own power, not even knowing what she had turned him into?

Fuck her. Fuck 239. Fuck this whole mess. When he found that girl, he was going to rip her to shreds.

Butterfly's hand slipped down the reinforced metal of the door, going down, down with his hope.

Hopeless. This was hopeless. He'd never get to her. Was he already too late? The alarm had probably alerted other sites, too, so he almost definitely had Iceberg on his trail. And even if not Iceberg, even if it was someone he could subdue without issue and get past to kill 239-- could he even do it? Could her powers overtake his? Could she look at him, twist him, turn him into something beyond his worst nightmares because he made her think of a monster?

Could he even do this?

... Not without help. Not without allies. And without the 408s... did he even have any?

The room was silent around him. Cursing him. Mocking him. He didn't. He didn't have anyone. The SCPs would have been evacuated and fucking Francis was against him and- and--

"... You look like you need a little help."

Butterfly jerked, spinning swiftly to find a young woman standing in front of him. She didn't so much as blink when he leveled his sword to her throat.

"... Iris Thompson."

"In the flesh," she responded, deadpan. "Lower the sword, Benjamin Kondraki. We need to talk."

"Don't call me that!" Benjamin Kondraki was a dead man. He'd died with his wife and he'd died with the thought that his son was a monster to be contained. "Don't you ever say that name again."

"Sorry." Thompson smiled. At least, it looked like a smile. His depth perception was shot to hell, of course, and his third eye stung with heat, but he swore even past that it looked more like a snarl than a grin. "This isn't the right world to be calling you that. But, well, with that name or not... I'm offering you an out."

"An out?" As if he'd trust her. 239 had never seen her, yes, but Thompson was personnel. Dating Francis's own daughter. Why she'd side with him over her site and her girlfriend he hadn't the slightest idea. "Spare me the bullshit, Thompson. What do you want?"

"It's obvious, Doctor Butterfly," she said, enough surety in her voice that he strained to hear anything inhuman past that. But there was nothing. Absolutely nothing but the dregs of a dead god inside her. "I want you to win."

That made him pause. "What?"

"There are tunnels the director doesn't know about. Meant for Factotum use. O5 use," she explained. Something in her voice tired as she did. "How did you think I stayed hidden while they evacuated? The Council thinks it hides its things well, really. But it's easy to find them when you have all the time in the world. And we both know how much time I had."

"... Damn. 3999 really did a number on you, didn't it?" He remembered back when she had first come to the site, when she was still nervous and kind of snappy and excited. Now... well. "Where are they?"

"Right here." Thompson reached out, taking him by the wrist and tugging him past a corner to find a large door where there once had been wall. It hung open to reveal a tunnel, leading down, down, down. "And turn off the voice, Butterfly. No-one here's scared of you. Except maybe you."

"... Asshole." His voice, past the anomaly echoing it, was weak. Raspy. "How the hell did you find this?"

"I killed O5-6 in it a month ago. How else?" She pulled him in. "Do your best, Doctor Butterfly. Leave me a corpse to burn."

And didn't that send chills down his spine.

"Wait," Butterfly called, stopping Thompson as she walked away. "Why are you doing this?"

It took her a few moments to answer. The tunnels loomed empty around him.

"I like watching reality benders die," she answered simply. The door closed before him.

... Ominous. But helpful. Butterfly shook his head, descending into the dark of the tunnels. Hopefully she only wanted 239 dead. Hopefully it didn't extend to him.

But if it did...

Butterfly shook his head, looking through the tunnels. They seemed to match the halls of Site 17 enough, didn't they?

He wasn't exactly a stupid man. He knew his enemies-- friends?-- were dangerous. He knew it'd be risky to fight them without help.

And, well... 408 wasn't the only group of butterflies on-site.

Butterfly turned left, headed for the enclosure storing SCP-3209.

Iris Thompson travelled the halls with barely a sound. She knew well how to avoid making a sound on these floors, covered in wood or not. In her pocket, a six-sided die sat wrapped in her handkerchief, familiar and unturning.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" she heard Francis Wojciechowski demand in front of her. Iris did not look up. Instead, she shrugged, her fingers playing idly on that die.

"I'm with Butterfly on this one," she said softly, pulling the die out of its cloth. "That girl did something, that's for sure. The only thing to do now is stop it."

Francis scowled. He was hurt, Iris noted, with badly burned hands and broken gear, and he walked with a limp that screamed of a broken leg. "Iris. She's only a kid."

"And you're only a man." Iris met his eyes. "I could kill you without flinching."

"You wouldn't."

She shrugged. "Get out of the way and I won't."

Stubbornly, Francis stayed. Iris sighed. "Fine. Make your choice."

The die landed on three. And the hallway flooded with water.

If a broken masquerade occured in DA, what would happen? Would the humanoid scps like Iris be allowed to go home or at least see their families?

You know, I don't want to jump the gun and promise something I might never get around to, but I've been thinking about making a short sort of 'what if' series with that premise. I figured I'd probably want to do more of the main series before I start writing spinoffs, at least.

In general, yeah, humanoids would be allowed to go home. Cases like Stacey's would have very little need for supervision, where their containment was only in favor of keeping the veil intact. Other ones like Leora would have some level of oversight, I'd imagine, like mandatory evaluations at regular intervals, but it's a lot harder to keep a teenager locked up perpetually when the entire world knows your reasoning is "hey maybe she could be mean I dunno." Of course, the odd case would still necessitate some form of containment, like Cain's Absolute Herbicide Field or Able's... entire schtick.

I think the fun in this scenario comes on looking at things on a case-by-case basis. What kind of freedom would be offered to Cain? Does Leora get to show of her abilities, or is there a perpetual moratorium on that? A lot of that stuff could be fun to get into for individuals, but I think I'd be here a really, really long time if I listed off every single humanoid that comes to mind.

I'll touch on Iris, though, since you mentioned her by name. She'd almost certainly be allowed to go back to her family. Depending on how successful Alpha-9 is, she might even be propped up for the sake of some good PR. But the question is, would she even want to go back to her family? Of course she'd want to on some level, but her family accepted her death a long time ago. Showing back up again would just be like reopening old wounds. Besides, for all intents and purposes, their Iris is long dead, anyways. Maybe it would just be easier for everyone to keep on going their separate ways, no?

I was wondering if you could do scp 105 falling in love with a male reader who's basically a genius. Like how would Iris react if she walks into his room and saw a bunch of chalk broads everywhere with complex equations written on them.

This evoked a very interesting idea, but I really struggled with writing for it. I’ve put down what I can!

SCP-105/SCP Reader

Numbers were simple. Easy. They didn’t ask questions, they never judged. You could always count- ha!- on them to be there when you needed them.

And you always enjoyed numbers. Complex equations, sprawling across walls, crawling upwards like the reaching hands of ivy. Though in this scenario, perhaps the colors were swapped, green chalkboards instead of white cobblestone, and white chalk for green vines.

There had been… something. You weren’t sure. The Foundation had talked, and you frankly didn’t care, and then you were moved elsewhere. More space for your work.

And most strange was the woman.

The Foundation- and you didn’t like to be mean, except they weren’t the brightest, but that much was obvious- had moved you and moved in her too. Her name was Iris. Much prettier than the Foundation code they assigned, anyway.

Though the number 105 was nice. Triangular number. Dodecagonal. The first Zeisel number. You’d mentioned that to her once, and you aren’t sure if she knew what you were talking about, but she smiled.

And speaking of. There was a polite knock on the door to the room, and you swiveled around, blinking. There, in the doorway, stood her. Iris. She stared at the walls in open awe- and you realized she’d never been in here before. You worried, suddenly and self consciously, that maybe she found this weird. But that thought was dashed a moment later.

“This is… amazing,” she stated. And you couldn’t help but smile.
