I have never written something so personal for the site (and it's only 7500 words) - A long while ago something traumatic happened to me and my family, I've spent years trying to find the right way to write a story about it. Although the events of this story do not reflect what happened, the atmosphere and emotional resonance is meant to evoke what we went through.

Wonder if you seen the winner of the 8000 contest, "seal of approval" ( I literally just understood the meaning of the name, that's great). I quite enjoy it, it was a very sweet story.

I have! It is such a sweet story!

I can't express enough just how much I love SCP authors and the influence their works have had on me. There's a scene in the climax of this one that really defines that feeling, though. You'll know what I mean. Please go check out SCP-8000 by PlaguePJP.
