Hey! based on the recent 096 thing,, what if you were immortal/immune to abnormal affects/effects? How would SCPs (such as 096, 106, 173, 049, and 035) react?

They both like and hate it. I mean if something happens to the host when they're near you, you'll just straight up put them on your face which WILL(probably) result to your death. And they do not want that to happen. And the bad thing... they can't read your mind properly(I mean they're probably interested and invested about what's happening in others life. It's the only good entertainment they can get in here).

Other than that, it's going to just adore you and your immunity to it. Like there weren't anyone who could look at it and not fall for their charm(manipulations), but look at you. Standing there alive and it's not even mad at you! Because it cares about you.

Oh it's not really a surprise to him, since there were and are some people that aren't afflicted with the pestilence(aren't dead from his touch). And he doesn't even need to lecture his cured patients about hurting you. They are always so docile with you, not getting rowdy. How convenient.

Before anything he does NOT want you to interact with many people(at all), since... what if they infect you? He won't like to see that, knowing that you're suffering from that wretched disease. But he can't exactly make you stay with him forever. He will hint and/or outright say that you need to stay away from certain people, however it's you decision to listen or not listen. You can make your own decisions. Even if that makes Doctor uncomfortable... with those 'intrusive' thoughts.

They are the calmest they have been in their entire existence, while someone looks at their face that is. And that does bring them some sort of comfort knowing that YOU of all creatures aren't going to die from their hands(unless some sort of accident happenS- WHO SAID THAT). The hands that killed too many.

And from those thoughts, the clinging begins. Knowing that you're 100% safe from being mutilated and turned into chunks of meat, they would want to spend a bit more time with you. Following, sitting or laying near you, anything. They are going to love it. The idea of listening to your heartbeat as a comfort thing is perfect for them. Whether they lay on you or you lay or rest on them(just don't forget to breathe).

Well That's not interesting(for him). His sadistic side fucking hates it. On one hand he can just grab you and squeeze your neck until you stop moving. But on other hand he (likes)tolerates you enough to not do it. Even if everything in his body tells him to fucking do it. Watch as your little life is slowly taken away from your desperate hands.

He'll more often than not will mostly ignore your presence. Especially if in a room/hallway there's a person(really hurt, showing it or 10-25 year old) and YOU, he'll always choose to go after the first option. And there's a possibility that he bumps into you, it's probably not intentional(i mean do you expect this corpse to walk straight and not bump and hit into things/people?)

Having 173 practically ignoring your existence and still moving while you look is.. good? Well for you, that is. You can't help anyone else, it's just a cold lie that you can look while they try to get away or clean the cell.

If you want to know it's thoughts about it. Well I mean it's not often that it has any thoughts(Literally head empty). Thoughts that usually appear are how it's next target's face going to look like as they're getting closer and closer. Oh and how their 'resting' face is going to look like.

Going back to your immunity, it knows, kinda acknowledge your existence in it's own weird way. Like it won't push you and just go a different path if you're blocking- let's say a door way. Or if you want to help some poor soul from dying, by just standing in the corner and that person being behind you. And surprise, surprise 173 looses it's interest entirely. How thoughtful of it.

This may be a bit of a random question, but If scp - 978 interacted with the lords during quarantine, what was captured? (Of course, I know they have a common goal of saving Allagadda, but isn't there something else? Be it something trivial or grand)

A final third attempt relinquished a photo that depicted the subject as he was, but now accompanied by the other SCP-035 entities having a conversation.

Subject: SCP-035-C / SCP-035-D Photographed Activity: Two separate photos were taken of each subject alone: SCP-035-C while seated in an armchair and reading, and SCP-035-D while drinking some tea at the table. Both photos produced the same result. Photos Result: Subject SCP-035-C is depicted cradling a small infant and being embraced by SCP-035-D. Both are smiling and crying. Here's a little doodle of SCP-035 going back to Alaggada. This takes place after the foundation detected some problems about what is occuring in SCP-2264-b and informing SCP-035 since it was the only one who knows Alaggada so well and basically armored the mask since natural MTF armoury is replaced with Alaggadan suits/dresses :3

Missing Limb Mishap

an scp-035 oneshot.

Log B-112, Patient B-48; Antoine Innez, Reported by Doctor Isabella Santell.

The patient was previously assigned the task of moving scp-035 to a new location alongside other employees, however on moving date [CLASSIFIED], an incident occurred causing Innez to lose his left hand.

While moving the mask, the substance it produces ate through Innez's suits' material and contaminated his hand, unfortunately this was caught late and his hand began to decay, turning black as it died and started becoming the same substance that contaminated him.

his co-worker [CLASSIFIED] took quick action once it was caught a few days before the next move and sautered off his hand just above the wrist with a laser cutter before the corruption could spread.

Innez has since been reassigned a new task with a seperate scp, far from scp-035 and has been regularly attending scheduled meetings with me and i have been monitoring him for any affects caused by this incident with scp-035.

I have been made aware that updates on the suit material for the move team has been updated and new suits have been issued as of last week. The most recent move was yesterday.

Recently i've noticed he started muttering and mumbling, it was just small things at first, i thought it might have been his nerves and getting used to losing his hand, but then it became questions.

He started asking about scp-035, why he no longer had access to it nor any information or records and why he'd been reassigned to something else.

Then the questions turned to arguing, bartering, pleading. Now during our last meeting today, he's begun raising his voice and outright demanding access, stating they belong together, that he isnt whole without scp-035. I made no mention of the move but his change in behavior suggests he was already aware, possibly because he was so used to the schedule while on the team himself.

it may take me a few more meetings to understand if this is simply a trauma response to losing a part of himself, or if this is a result from him being drawn to the mask and a direct effect of scp-035's possession process.

Either way, with Innez's growing aggression i can assertively conclude he is no longer fit for any task under the scp foundation. If he were to continue being an employee, the state he is in would only cause further issues'. he's already attempted to attack both myself and his coworker [CLASSIFIED].

If this is indeed the results of scp-035, i cannot help him any further. This is the 45'th cace brought on by the effects of scp-035, none of the patients from those cases have ever recovered psychologically without their memories being wiped and removed from the facility for good.

I suggest the same solution for Antoine Innez might be our only option if nothing more comes of our next couple meetings.

Okay, I noticed the result of the vote and yet the answer was yes. I must say right away that I started drawing the ancestors of both guys immediately after I published the polls. Well, let me show you what I did.

Polly is Pinky's grandmother and Vanessa's mother.

Bernard and Desire are Brain's parents.

Diego and Belle are Brain's first grandparents and Bernard's parents.

The medical staff let Victoria go soon after she finished breakfast - after all, she only had broken fingers and rope burn around her neck, there wasn't anything else they could do for her. They gave her instructions on how to look after her hand, some painkillers, and a tube of cream to rub on the burn every so often, and then summoned a guard for the walk of shame back to Light Containment - Victoria was still in her pyjamas, after all.

Back in her containment, Victoria got Amica and the Doctor to wash their sticky, muffin-crumbed hands and faces, and debated taking a shower herself. Given how generally gross she was feeling after the night she'd had, she figured she needed one.

Her bathroom was separate from her main containment, but didn't have a door. The shower and toilet were blocked from the room's security camera for a little bit of privacy, but the designers of the containment didn't want the SCPs to be able to hide. Amica and the Doctor hadn't shown any interest in bothering her in the bathroom - they'd only come in when she was in visible distress, puking her guts out - and she decided not to worry about it much. A doctor and an Alagaddan weren't going to be traumatised by non-sexual nudity if they came barging in.

Victoria put on some instrumental jazz for Amica and the Doctor, told them she was going to take a shower and to keep themselves entertained, but they could get her if they needed her. She left Amica pulling the Doctor around in a very ungraceful dance and set about the business of trying to shower one-handed with a plastic bag tied over her left hand to protect the splints.

She had just started towelling off when there was a knock at her containment door. It swished open and there was a pause as the newcomer couldn't locate the room's primary occupant. "West? It's just me." Dr Usher.

"Give me a few minutes," Victoria called back.

"Victoria is taking a shower," Amica announced.

"Fine, I'll just talk to you and your friend until she's ready," Usher told it. "I brought markers."

It ended up taking nearly fifteen minutes for Victoria to dry off, put her clothes on one-handed, and get her hair in some semblance of order. When she finally emerged, she found Usher, Amica, and the Doctor sitting quietly on the floor, the latter two utterly absorbed in drawing. Usher got to her feet and smiled. "There doesn't seem to be any proper kids' stuff around, but I raided the art therapy supplies. They didn't have crayons and I thought you wouldn't appreciate it if I brought them paint."

They walked over closer to the containment door and Usher's smile dropped. "Fucking 2264-4 tried to kill you and you survived."

"2264-4 wanted to kill 035, I was just in the way. So much for it always giving a warning before it shows up," said Victoria bitterly. "But it seemed to be here on its own scheme, not under orders. 035 scared it off by threatening to tattle to 2264-5."

Usher's eyebrows raised. "From my research, I was pretty sure that 2264-4 was the real power behind the throne. I wouldn't have thought it cared what 2264-5 wanted."

"I don't know, I don't understand their politics. 2264-4 referred to 2264-5 as the author of the play and itself as the director. Maybe 2264-4 still needs -5 to do whatever it does," said Victoria. "But why not kill 035 anyway?"

"I have no idea," said Usher. "Maybe 2264-4 thought it could kill 035 without 2264-5 knowing and just show up all, 'oh, look what those horrible humans did, so tragic, guess we need a new Black Lord.' From your report about your time in 2264-B, it sounds like 2264-5 lets 035 get away with a lot. Maybe it's the favourite and 2264-5 would be pissed at whoever killed 035."

"Maybe. The security camera actually worked?"

"Yeah, I expected the video would be corrupted, but it wasn't," said Usher. "A little after 200 hours, 035 jolts upright and 2264-4 just appears like it was there the whole time, it just couldn't be seen until it moved. 049 also takes notice and both of them grabbed each other and shrank back against you. That was when you woke up."

Usher shook her head. "It bothers me that the whole encounter came through perfectly clear. I know 2264-4 appears in the 701 tapes, I just somehow didn't expect it here. It doesn't care that we can see it, that we can prove it exists. It knows there's nothing we can do." She glanced down at Victoria's injured hand. "Combs also said you injured yourself for information."

Victoria grimaced. "I asked why there are no children in Alagadda. I was trying to find a loophole to save 035. 2264-4 said it was for 'balance' and then called me an idiot for assuming it meant population control - that since no one really dies in Alagadda, no one can be born."

"I'll look into it. Maybe it's some sort of riddle or has some double-meaning."

Usher left. Victoria went to check on Amica and the Doctor. They were still entirely fixated on their drawings.

The Doctor's had a lot of red. The middle of the page was taken up by a childish scribble of a person lying down, apparently in the middle of an autopsy. The major organs were present and in the right places. Parts of the body were scribbled over with black, with black clouds above them. Pestilence, maybe.

Amica's was almost nice at first glance. It had drawn itself, the Doctor, and Victoria holding hands, like a child's family portrait. Victoria noted that Amica had dressed her in black. However, the sky was yellow and dotted with black stars, and on the ground lay three large figures - red, yellow, and white, with black blood scrawled all over them.

So currently I'm compiling resources for a self-indulgent SCP fic that I'm writing and can I say: wow why after the 6000's or so did a lot of the SCPs become less "SCPs" and more "Tales".

Not to have my ADHD peak through, but I shouldn't have to slog through 10K words in order to understand a good chunk of SCPs nowadays. Like, yes, there are ones that are put in simpler terms and are a lot shorter, but it feels like the shorter ones are just,,,slowly vanishing?

It's probably because certain writers got very popular in the fandom and so everyone is like "ah this must be the best way to write SCPs!" which accidentally gatekeeps anyone who just does not have the time or energy to read through 30 10K SCP files at a time.

And then there are those people who are like "eugh [insert extremely popular SCP] is getting so much attention" but I've noticed that those SCPs are (a) have just been around for awhile so of course people know about them and/or (b) tend to be very cut and dry.

Think about it: even ones who have had several revisions and changes still have remained pretty short and to the point.

049 is an anomalous plague doctor who is trying to cure a disease that no one knows of, 035 is a mask who possesses people and can degregate his environment and change the minds of people [sometimes looped in with alagadda but not always], 682 is a giant unkillable lizard who hates humanity, and I could go on and on.

Idk I might be super cynical, but it's just weird to see so many people use the SCPs themselves to tell

Idk maybe I'm just cynical but it's frustrating seeing Tales just being squished into the SCPs themselves into,,,you know, just making them Tales.

Also, again, I don't want to have to spend 30+ minutes reading through a single SCP. Like, no offense to people who do!!! I just personally can't and it's frustrating to feel like I'm getting slowly pushed out of finding out about cool SCPs because they're just so long.
