A hike up to Scott Tower. Completed in 1942, this 54 foot tall structure was built as part of "Anniversary Park," created in 1923 to honor the 50 year anniversary of the town of Holyoke. The park is now permanently closed and abandoned. It's a 1 mile walk to the summit of Craft Hill where the tower sits. There is a staircase that leads up to the top where you can enjoy views of the surrounding area. There are also many overgrown trails and staircases that lead up the hill but I wouldn't recommend taking them. Because there are also warnings everywhere about ticks which are becoming a very serious problem currently due to the effects of climate change.

Ok, I know how much Martyns symbol has been a debate within the Life Series Fandom but I want to put my one take on it out there:

Tarot Card Symbolism.

The Sun (Grian):The Sun Symbolises harmony and coming together on the same path (like Grian and Scar), reversed The Sun can symbolise disharmony and even betrayal (like what happens at the end of 3rd life).

The Star (Scott): The Star symbolises hope, inspiration and success. Scott tried to be as morally good in Last Life as he could and acted in a way as an inspiration to Pearl and Cleo and was successful and almost anything he did.

The Moon (Pearl): The Moon symbolises Deception and illusion and that things are not what they seem (like how The Mean Girls convinced everyone Pearl was evil). The Moon also symbolises hidden enemies, terror and fatal error.reversed The Moon also symbolises heartbreak.

The Tower (Martyn):The Tower Symbolises danger, crisis, sudden change, destruction and overall chaos, all of which fits with Martyns actions of betrayal and the chaotic nature of Limited Life as a whole

The thing I love about Pearl in the Life series is that she delights in the game of it. Not in the same way others might, but you can see her having fun constantly. She knows it’s all a game, that she’s being watched, and she plays it like a champ. Pearl got the last boogey kill in Last Life, one that was ultimately pointless but it was flashy and she’d planned it for so long that she never regretted it. Pearl effectively gave the group one more enemy and she giggled about it. I mean, even in Double Life where she was very lonely and hurting, she laughed when people were scared of her antics. She played up the “harbinger of doom” thing, you can just hear a big smile on her face when anyone else runs from her in fear. Pearl was in Evo too, she knows about the Watchers, she’s probably somewhat aware they’re behind the Life games, so she makes hers a game worth watching

anyone else ever think about how at the end of double life, pearl was fully ready and willing to kill scott. had her bow drawn and ready to shoot. but then when he lit the tnt under himself she screamed out in concern for him

Divorce quartets dynamic is fucking funny this season. Scott and Martyn decided to move in with each other and steal Cleo's brand of being Mean Girls. Pearl passive aggressively asking Martyn if he has Tilly and Martyn going "oh yeah I cremated her :)" and throwing gunpowder on the floor. Martyn telling BigB not to trust Pearl because if "the moon is high, you might die". Cleo gaslighting Pearl into being her ally and then when Cleo asks for books Pearl straight up lies and starts punching BigB so he won't tell her. Cleo and Martyn having the world's most awkward conversation and Cleo going "you and Scott are... sort of survivery". Pearl standing on a tree and staring at Scott instead of walking up to him like a normal person. Scott spending an entire episode making his and Martyn's house look cute and designing their shared storage system to only suit him and leaving Martyn to cope. Cleo doing their very best to ignore them all and juggling Scar and Bdubs forcing her to adopt them, allying with the entire server and the Bad Boys turning their base into bread and killing them whilst Pearl is like thirty blocks away and blatantly not helping. Most divorced polycule EVER. I am studying their relationship under a microscope.

Rotating Etho's choice to protect his allies in my mind. Obviously they made incredible escapes and held their own but Etho also refusing to sell out Cleo and Grian meant that nearly everyone else died, some died multiple times, most lost additional hearts, hurt alliances (Scott: Gem has no band loyalty!), and did not gain something like 120 hearts total

Meanwhile, Cleo and Grian get to feel secure in their alliance, not go red, and actually finish their tasks. The playing field has obviously been levelled significantly and they still suffered, but Etho facilitated his alliance gaining the most where everyone else lost the most

Obviously it's a display his loyalty first and foremost but he also played the game, ran the numbers, and counted himself out of success knowing it would be diminishing returns to go after them and I just think that's neat

This quest was short and sweet; I enjoyed it. I was kind of afraid they were going to pull another fetch quest that jebaits you into an assassination attempt, so this was really nice.

With all the survivors' talk of how Pilgrims 'are', as well as Aiden's general attitude towards the shitheads he encounters, you can sometimes forget that first and foremost, you are playing a brother.

My favorite quests are the ones where Aiden just shows how playful he can be, contrasting his own memories of himself as a child, ever the worrywart while his sister wanted to play with him. You start to wonder how much his memories of Mia affected his personality, since that was all he could hold on to in her absence.

I keep looking at my own fanfic "The Rip Current" and I love it, but I think about the part about how Anabel was written as "the psychic-type one" in a cheap advertisement Scott paid for.

And I think I would write that differently...

The "Psychic/Channeler" NPC Trainer Class in Hoenn look like this:

The idea I had was that the magazine was too lazy to interview Anabel herself, but I have now an even funnier thought if they accidentally got the wrong girl at the Battle Frontier BECAUSE Anabel was too hard to reach. She's known as 'Mysterious' in the Battle Frontier-- Imagine that Anabel just doesn't appear all too often that barely anyone knows what she looks like outside of promotional material.

Like maybe she's out having a joy ride on Raikou or literally her head in the clouds on Latios.

So because the poor, underpaid journalist was getting NO real answer as to who the Salon Maiden was, they found a Psychic Trainer with a similar name and mistook her for Anabel (She had an Alakazam. Sure the Espeon and Metagross are... not her Pokemon but... Close enough?)

So Anabel's dismay over being incorrectly bio'd on a magazine was literally all her fault. AND IT'S EVEN FUNNIER IF SHE JUST BLAMES THE MAGAZINE PUBLISHER AND NOT HERSELF. "OH THEY'RE TOO LAZY TO INTERVIEW ME" THEY TRIED
