Here’s Superstar Rockin’ Jay and Scott! I love that a lot of the fandom adores Superstar Rockin’ Jay as a design (and I also wish we got to see more of him), so here’s my piece for Season 12!

hehe so not thinking about how most of those cubed people in Prime empire were children who made the mistake of playing in the arcade the day that the mass virus thing happened.

So not thinking about all the families losing their minds over their missing kids wondering what happened to them.

So not thinking how a lot of the league of Jay could actually just be children dressing as adults searching for someone to protect them, and doing what kids do and making a fanclub out of appreciation and admiration.

So not thinking about Scott needing to adjust to life when he's basically 20ish, maybe, years older than when he entered and when he returns to reality would look the same when he got out so everyone he knew has moved on and accepted him dead while he is physically a guy in his late teens-early twenties who needs a new start. Sure his friends might still be alive but also they might just not have the type of time he still has. He's just an inevitable Alan from the original Jumanji but if he didn't age at all.

Prime Empire why do you have so much actual tragic things happen but they aren't even thought about. like imagine if they showed the mass kidnapping across arcades in a News styled episode, getting witness statements or interviewing victims parents. That could be near thriller level stuff. And what if the disappearance of Scott became its own urban legend? was there ever a legal suite filed against Dyer? how was that at all kept under wraps that well?

honourary mention of the deleted Libber and baby Jay scene that Jay was supposed to see while in the game. you will be missed and pondered for your potential value.

Theory/personal headcanon time? I don't know...but here we go!

What if Scott was actually Jay's half-brother? Think about it.

Cliff Gordon could've had a son before Jay was born. Let's say this son loved videogames, and Cliff pulled a few strings to get him to become the assistant to Milton Dyer, and to eventually test a new game called Prime Empire. Scott then vanished, and no one knew what happened.

Cliff, in his grief and pain at loosing his son, sues Vast Industries, and gets Milton Dyer fired, and then flings himself further and further into his acting career, hoping to find the joy that vanished when Scott did.

Eventually, Cliff meets Libber, marries her, but as soon as Jay is born he becomes afraid of Jay meeting an unfortunate demise like Scott did. In his fear, he leaves Jay's life, convinced that Cliff himself was the one bringing harm to his children. Libber then gives Jay to the Walkers, unable to be a single mother, and vanishes.

When Jay and Scott meet in Prime Empire, there's an immediate connection, a trust and friendliness the two have to each other. Of course, this could be because they both saved each other's lives, but there's a deep level of trust that they both have, enough for Scott let Jay into his secret garage, and soon use it as well. They don't know that they are brothers, but they act like it in every way.

And, in a game like Prime Empire, trust means a lot.

Quick notes about this headcanon:

Scott totally gives the rebellious teenager whose father is a millionaire vibe, while also still being a nice guy.

And, Scott has such an older brother vibe, while Jay is like a younger brother, especially in Prime Empire.

Scott totally takes Jay under his wing as soon as they meet too, teaching him the ways of Prime Empire.

(I'm not sure if the ages match up...but I think I'll headcanon this and hope that it does...I'm not too eager to do more research lol)

I would love to write a fic about this one day...i just love the idea so much!! But why can't we learn more about Jay's bio family? There could be so many exciting stories created with it! (I guess I really want Jay to have bio siblings, too)

Why *yes* I can spare some poor for the food. I hope you treat the poor with kindness (what am I even saying). You get four:

- Lloyd really likes to sunbathe on the roof of the monastery (the lizard genes strike again). No one can get him down unless the weather changes for the worse of they physically drag him down.

- Unlike maybe expected, Ray is the one who is strangely In Tune with plants and can always keep like 10 at a time with them living great plant lives, while Maya Can and Will somehow kill cacti. Thrice.

(She gets too carried away thinking they need more water, and when they are spiky she couldn’t touch them to know how much they already had, thus a cactus killing machine was created)

- Scott is actually really short in real life but he made himself tall in Prime Empire. Also Jay has definitely rambled to him about Video Game Jumanji, with Scott being very confused because he only knows Jumanji one (Yes this implies the existence of Lego Ninjago Dwayne The Rock Johnson)

- (This next one is really just appeasement for Crystalized and the fact that the ninja are only crystafied for a few seconds & we don’t even see them doing anything) But basically every single one of the og four has some sort of leftover spiky mark/scar on their body— I have drawings of that somewhere but I’ll need to go find them among my hoard of art posts lol

I've been holding onto this one for so LONG. And the crazy part was I wasn't sure I should do it because it was more than two characters. But oh, the imagery. I don't often think about Prime Empire but something just hit me earlier that won't let go of me right now. Sorry if this sounds super rambly, it's because it is and I don't want to waste my time trying to make it into a proper analysis.

They say that 30 years ago the game was programmed but never finished/abandoned. Scott was a tester/the tester for it and 'disappeared'. He's been in the game for 30 years. Since the game wasn't finished, and thus never published, he was the only player in it. He tested everything out in all those years, lost three of his lives and then Jay enters, creates the 'League of Jays' and when the other ninja come later, he talks about the League as if it has existed for years in the game. As if he repaired their vehicles for years, guarded the entrance to Jay's hideout for all that time he's been stuck in there.

By the time the ninja enter the game themselves a few days must've passed since other arcade machines turned into Prime Empire. Days. Not even a full week. But then there's Okino's episode and it looks like a ton of people he failed to guide over the years. But since the game was never finished, never published.. that has to be every player in those few days. He became demotivated within a few days, not slowly over the span of many years.

And, I get it, video game logic. You don't notice the passing of time or it passes differently in them, but.. man. The game was only up for days and an NPC as well as the first player stuck in it both mention things in a way that doesn't sound like that stuff is still very recent and new. A real human and basically a primitive game AI. Days. And they talk like it's been years, decades even.

as for Scott, yeah he definitely has a role in the AU! He acts much more like a brother figure to Jay, and is really protective over him. Even beyond Prime Empire he and Jay keep in touch, and Jay comes to him for advice over non-ninja stuff
