besides wolfgang's and ingrid's, i've also noticed that both desmond and toshiko being sagittarians fit their respective talents really well, considering the sagittarius sign is represented by a bow and arrow. desmond being the ultimate marksman (plus literally carrying arrows on his back) and toshiko, as the ultimate matchmaker, could be a reference to cupid and his arrows of love.

i also had a theory that jett being a gemini could be hint that he has a twin (gemini being latin for "twins", and their representation being twins: castor and pollux) it's a common trope that geminis are associated to lots of twin-related stuff, so why not!

as for cassidy also being a gemini, i interpret it more as her having this other part of herself that she hides from people, which her echo art also seem to imply, at least in my opinion.

continuing, i find it intriguing that ulysses is a pisces, a sign often associated with creativity, dreams, illusions, and escapism (due to being ruled by neptune). since i believe ulysses was neglected in his childhood, these symbolic themes really reinforces that for me.

there's also mark being an aquarius, which is interesting since despite being an air sign, it is represented by a vase of water/water bearer. i think it fits really well with mark's *alligator animal motif, since they are semi-aquatic animals. aquarians are also fairly known for having difficulty expressing themselves, which i think is correspondent to both mark and eva.

i believe aries is a sign that fits grace perfectly lol. if you know the stereotypical personality traits of being an aries (competitive, bold, impulsive) it's literally grace.

i find it kind of funny how jean is a cancer (water sign) since it is represented by a crab, which reminds me of his dislike for shellfish despite being a ship captain and all.

the virgo sign really suits diana; they're usually known for being helpful and people-pleasers yet are quite secretive about themselves, which describes diana perfectly. in that same respect, damon also fits the taurus sign well as they are particularly known for being hardworking and practical. with what we know of kai so far, i also think the interpretation that scorpios are often misunderstood people is a pretty good match for him.

Trauma the Zodiacs gained in their mortal lives:

Aries: Aries was a soldier in Ancient Greece, so he has some PTSD due to war and violence and whatnot.

Taurus: Taurus lived in poverty when she was alive, and willingly sold her organs on the black market in order to ensure her family had enough money to live.

Gemini: Gemini had Dissociative Identity Disorder, or DID when she was a mortal. Additionally, she was physically abused by her father for her early life and mentally abused by her mother for her later life. She was also accused of murdering her best friend (Virgo) and took her own life instead of waiting to be executed.

Cancer: Cancer was a soldier in Spain, and he was blown up in an accident involving cannons and gunpowder. He lost the lower parts of his legs and bled to death.

Leo: He lived a good life as a royalty in Ancient Greece, but was ridiculed by his father for wanting to take his father's throne. His father later heard that Leo was prophesied to take his life, so he hired Leo's fiancé (who would later become the Constellation Hercules) to kill Leo. Leo was beheaded in his sleep.

Virgo: Virgo was the bastard child of a king and one of the castle's servants, but was so beautiful that a prince from a neighboring kingdom wanted to marry her still. She was sexually assaulted by her music teacher, one of the dukes that was a close friend of her father's, and the woman that was meant to become her lady in waiting. She was able to get her lady in waiting jailed with the help of her new husband (who was actually a very nice man), but the lady in waiting bribed one of the guards and Virgo was poisoned the night before her wedding.

Libra: Libra was born blind, and became a priestess of Themis, the goddess of justice. Throughout her life, they suffered severe abuse and bullying because they were blind, and they were eventually run over by a chariot.

Scorpio: Scorpio was kept as a sex slave in Ancient Greece and was sexually assaulted an uncountable number of times by at least five different men. Eventually, a man named Origenes (the man who would later become the Constellation Orion) took him as a lover but Scorpio later stabbed Origenes in the eye and heart in a fit of rage after he found Origenes cheating on him. He was killed when two men found Scorpio hovering over Origenes' dead body and the men bound Scorpio's hands and legs and tossed him into the sea.

Sagittarius: Sagittarius was born to Daiyu Cheng (the woman who would later become Capricorn) and spent the majority of his younger life believing his mother did not truly love him because he was conceived from her rape (Daiyu did in fact love Sagittarius with all her heart). When he was eight, his mother faked her own death in order to deceive her husband and fool him into believing she died. Daiyu managed to take her son and board a boat to the United States, with the help of her secret lover. Daiyu later married her lover and bore him twins, and Sagittarius gained two new half-sisters. When he was fifteen, Daiyu died for real and Sagittarius' stepfather turned abusive, often hitting and screaming at Sagittarius and the twins. When he was sixteen, he found out he was pansexual and started seeking out a relationship with one of his male friends, which ended up with him being forced to go to church and him gaining religious trauma. Sagittarius was also sexually assaulted by a girl from his school. Soon after this, his boyfriend was shot and died. When he was seventeen, he accidentally had a child with his then girlfriend, a girl named Lihua (who would later become the Constellation Phoenix). For a while, they were happy and their child was born healthy and they named her Kimberly. At the age of twenty, both of Sagittarius' half sisters died in a car accident, and Sagittarius attempted to hang himself but was stopped by Lihua. He died when their apartment complex burned down.

Capricorn: Capricorn was born to a wealthy man and was the oldest child out of three sisters. When she was fifteen, she was sold off to an associate of her father's and became his fourth concubine. When she was eighteen, she was raped and bore her husband's son, a boy named Weilin (the man who would later become the Constellation Sagittarius). As time passed, her husband and her husband's other concubines became increasingly abusive towards her, and she found solace in one of the servants of the household, who became her secret lover. She then faked her death and escaped to the United States, where she lived in happiness until her death to an aneurysm.

Aquarius: Aquarius was the illegitimate daughter of a Japanese noblewoman, and was abandoned in the forest when she was young. She was found by the Zodiac Pisces, who enjoyed coming down to Earth and talking with her. Eventually, she was found by another Japanese noblewoman and was adopted into her family. After her adoptive mother died, her adoptive father wanted to take Aquarius as his new wife. Aquarius refused, and in a drunken rage, her adoptive father threw her off a balcony.

Pisces: Pisces was the second youngest in a group of six siblings. He was closest with his siblings Megumi and Enyo (the future Constellations Ophiuchus and Cetus), but both siblings mysteriously disappeared when he was thirteen. His oldest siblings, Hayami and Takeo, were later found to be conspiring against the local shogun and as punishment, he and all of his siblings were executed. He was tied to a rock and thrown into a lake, where he drowned.

Trauma the Zodiacs gained after they became a Zodiac (these traumas take place before the main story starts):

Leo and Scorpio: These two were in a very toxic relationship, which ended very badly for the both of them. Leo tended to isolate Scorpio from his friends and family, and also physically abused him by scratching him or biting him. Scorpio verbally abused Leo by belittling him and guilt tripping him, as well as stalking him and watching him while he slept. Both also sexually assaulted each other.

Libra and Capricorn: Libra was bullied a lot by Capricorn because Capricorn believed that Libra hadn't suffered enough to become a Zodiac. Libra also had a crush on Sagittarius, and Capricorn believed that Libra wasn't good enough for her son.

That's all of the Zodiacs' traumas! Now as for how corruption affects the main plot, here are the main plot points involving corruption:

Scorpio and Leo are Zodiacs that succumb to corruption a lot of times, and a minor character arc for the both of them is them figuring out how to deal with their trauma in constructive ways and not just returning to each other and abusing each other.

Pisces was widely considered as the weakest Zodiac, and so he tried to look for ways to become stronger. He found out that if he kept reliving his trauma, he would be in a constant state of corruption, and would become stronger as a result. This culminates in him killing Eclipse (the main god), and drinking her blood in an attempt to gain even more power. This results in him becoming a Kaiju, and all of the Zodiacs need to band together to stop him. However, they are unable to stop him and it ultimately ends with Ophiuchus and Cetus killing him for good.

Scorpio ends up transforming into his Kaiju form in a last ditch attempt to stop the Kaiju version of Pisces. This form of transformation was an artificial transformation, carefully monitored by Aquarius, and therefore able to be stopped at any time. However, he ends up dying due to injuries sustained by Pisces. He does manage to turn back to his normal form, and is able to deliver his final words to his family.

Gemini was kidnapped by Pisces in an attempt to figure out how to travel to the Abyss. His working theory was that since Gemini was an Air sign and a Mutable sign (the most magically flexible of the Zodiacs), if he injected her with the gemstones found in Eclipse's scythe, she would be able to create portals to the Abyss. This results in her corruption and almost Kaiju transformation.

I am 👀 about the descriptions that another anon sent in. I don’t know if I really believe it either, but I had my own chart done and it was scary accurate and those descriptions very much seem like Joe. Wow. But I agree with anon that says they can see why he lasted that long in his previous relationship, although it was probably a powder keg, but expect the relationship he ends up in to be much calmer.
