I have no idea what that is… and I was too lazy to look it up, lmao. I have the German (Bavarian) Abitur, and my score is considered quite good—it’s a 1.5 (or at least, I think it was, lmao—my memory is questionable). The best possible score is 0.66 (which is exceptionally rare), while the most common “top score” is 1.0. A passing score for the Abitur is 4.0.♥️

Do you think Akutagawa and Chuuya are types to be with someone they want or someone they need? In dying to get an outside opinion...

Going by the canon information, when asked about their ideal type, Akutagawa’s answer was “someone who can keep up with his life(style),” while Chuuya’s answer was “someone with a good sense of fashion” (other translations have rendered it as “someone elegant”). ♥️

For Chuuya, I would say someone he wants. He is not dense, and he is canonically the only BSD man Asagiri chose who would treat his girlfriend respectfully. However, I don’t think Chuuya is fully aware of what he genuinely needs. His choice wasn’t “someone who can love him” or “someone who understands his emotional needs,” but rather someone who fits a certain appearance.

As for Akutagawa, he would choose someone he needs. I think he needs someone who truly understands him. First, he doesn’t seem to want anyone, and second, his answer about his ideal type suggests this. He craves to be understood, accepted, and wanted.

Manipulation is often seen in a negative light because it involves influencing or controlling someone’s thoughts, emotions, or actions in a way that benefits the manipulator while disregarding the other person’s autonomy or well-being.

That said, it is not always as simple as it may seem. In some cases, at least from my experience, manipulation can have a positive side, such as guiding someone toward making better choices or achieving something good, as long as it is done with care and genuine intentions.

Of course, things can become complicated; if the manipulator’s perception is flawed, they might impose their own moral framework and inadvertently cause harm, even if their intentions are good.

The Cancers I’ve known were sometimes a bit manipulative when it came to guiding people toward what they thought was right. However, they had good intentions, and since they are intuitive people, they were rarely wrong. That is why I believe it is important not to immediately view “manipulation” as a red flag, but rather to consider it from different perspectives.

I completely understand why people are cautious about it, though—manipulation can go terribly wrong when someone acts out of selfishness or with malicious intent. So, I do not blame anyone for seeing it in a negative light either.

Redemption, to me, isn’t about erasing the past but about making a genuine effort to change and move forward with integrity.

It’s heartbreaking that some people make mistakes or choices that those around them find impossible to forgive, no matter how much they change. But unfortunately, this is just how things are.

Forgiveness can be a delicate and deeply personal matter, but I believe that everyone deserves a second chance—provided they truly reflect on their actions and commit to becoming better.

True growth requires effort, humility, and perseverance, but it’s always worth it. ♥️

I saw your correction from 2w3 to 2w1 afterwards, so don’t worry about it. ♥️ Yes, I’m a highly sensitive person. I’m just staying away from the outside world as much as I can, haha. I need a good amount of time alone—though it doesn’t always work, being a people pleaser—but I’m doing my best to regulate everything. If it gets to be too much, I simply take a day off or so, to be on my own.

I’m wishing you all the strength you need for your finals! I know you can do this. Study hard and effectively—I’m expecting great results *affectionately with a strict undertone*. ♥️

I’ve read both and like them, but Crime and Punishment is my favorite. It depends on which you’d prefer to start with in terms of plot and length. Crime and Punishment is a longer read, while No Longer Human is shorter.

However, I have to say, No Longer Human was so depressing that it took me two weeks to get through it, even though I’ve finished thicker books in just two days. It really depends on how much melancholy you’re ready to handle.

Crime and Punishment deals with broader philosophical and political issues, while No Longer Human is deeply personal.
