the solve-it-squad is a one-act play exploring precisely what an “adult scooby doo”™️ would look like! and unlike velma, it’s absolutely hilarious and crafted with love. i cannot recommend it enough!

when we're talking about the new pretty awful velma show, what if we all watched something good for a change? like solve-it squad. a scooby doo inspired musical available for free on youtube made by people who actually like scooby doo. and the velma character is queer and played by a woman of colour. seriously, go give it a watch.

Max/T-Rex: good instincts, charm, class president, BMOC; risk-taker, hot-dogger, jock, easy smile and laid-back demeanor, serous de facto leader. Tom Cruise's "Maverick”, big ego, feels like he's leading the Marx Brothers onto the beaches of Normandy. He was winning in life and lost this so he's now a bit bitter

Fiona/Spinosaurus: Billy Murray + "Old" Rosie O'Donnell, speed freak. easy going, fast driving, tomboy-athlete, quick wit, need for speed. When not burning rubber she's “kicking it” with the guys.

Caruso/Stegosaurus: wants to be cool at any price, changes personality at will, bit funny, bit like Scooby, empty headed ego. Thinks he's better than others, ultimate wannabe, incredibly vain and self-centered, attention span of a gnat. Every new passion is his ticket to mega-stardom. A teen version of Ben Stiller's Zoolander, "I'm too sexy for my shirt”.

Buzz/Pteranodon: false hero, scared, bitchy funny, bit like Shaggy, tough-talking loudmouth, all show no guts. Wants to be a tough hero, but afraid of own shadow. The bigger they are, the harder they fear! Joe Pesci as the Cowardly Lion, turned Cowardly Dino.

Rodger/Styracosaurus: Chris Rock + MacGiver, under appreciated, gets no respect, makes cool multi-tools... “and it also makes great cappuccino!” Why? Because it can! wise-cracking, limitless technical skills, drives others crazy with an endless practical jokes.

The velma show sucks major ass and a better use of your time would be to watch Mystery Incorperated. Another good use of your time if you want a slightly dark comedy with adult jokes is to watch the Tin Can Bros' Solve it squad. It's genuinely funny and is a spoof off of scooby doo. Pls watch it and don't give this horrid abomination that is masquerading as a TV show the time of day

Try “The Solve It Squad Returns” a stage play about a gang of former teenage sleuths reuniting to solve the case that got away…

I believe they also produced a sequel over zoom during lockdown, but I haven’t watched it yet.

“Signals” is still the funniest episode of She-ra.... frankly it embodies the strengths and weaknesses of the show at this stage...  

Rebellion story: Ridiculous scooby doo shenanigans. It turns out the GHOSTS were HOLOGRAMS!!!!!  Everyone realises their friendship is the thing that mattered. Bow misinterprets an incredibly plot important signal for a glitch on his tracker pad. This glitch is interpreted correctly as a signal later... entirely offscreen. 

Horde story: Threatening political intrigue as Catra claws her way to power, is at constant risk of death, and gets accidentally usurped by a sunshine gremlin with no self preservation instinct. How? She was the only one brazen and dumb enough to tell the Evil Supreme Overlord that his electronics were below the standard of a middle school student. Somehow this is an incredible plot twist with huge implications for the rest of the story and for Catra’s psyche.

I'll be the first one in line to join the Batman-hater club and even I'm disgusted at how he, along with the rest of the Justice League, was handled in that new Scooby-Doo Squad game.

At the time, I had a Twatter account and a male from her past (yes him) jumped into the feed to encourage me. He explained that she was on a mission to burn down the BRF. I asked, "when will she be exposed?" He replied "she already has been."

Day 108 of drawing Junior Secret Squad until Chapter 3

I've been watching Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated so today we've got CK and Naomi as Scooby and Shaggy. Why are they Scooby and Shaggy? Thought it fit. Mostly thought CK would be Scooby first, and Chicago was already Fred since he's the leader and an inventor so he could make traps like Fred, Noami wouldn't want to be Daphne or Velma, meaning Britni is Daphne (though he monotone voice and permanent grumpy face don't make her all that convincing) and Wilbur is Velma. Also, CK and Naomi are the chaotic buddies of the group anyways, I think they'd work as Scooby and Shaggy.
