A progression of sword designs done for a concept design class. The prompt was to design a series of props and gradually hone in the scope to just a single one as I polished the designs. Was told during the design process that they were reminiscent of Eldar designs from Warhammer. Is that true? I never really got into Warhammer. Too much of a money sink for a poor artist like me!

Hm, in hindsight, I really love that fish-hook design. Maybe I should take it a bit further?

Febroary days 20 + 21: young + Machairodontid

Ever since the article came out, I wanted to draw something for the mummy of the H. latidens cub they found back in 2020, but never made more than a sketch, I decided to combine these two prompts to give it another chance :D!

Fun fact, I was gonna have Pounce stalking a giant pleistocene Pika but literally cannot find any reference to how big they were.

And then i realised pika are just,,, insanely tiny,,, so i used a marmot instead. I like marmots now, they're so chunky!

I drew Pounce with proper sabers by accident, big cats have milk teeth until they're 1yr old, whoops! Let's say it's uh... an effect... from baring them... being stressed out... yup

Reliant Scimitar 4x4, 1972. An experimental version of the Ogle designed shooting brake using Ferguson Formula 4 wheel drive technology. The original Scimitar GTE chassis was re-designed with revised engine & gearbox mountings to get drive to front diff past the Ford 3 litre V6 while moving steering rack to clear GKN front Diff Unit. The 4 wheel drive Scimitar was an experimental model and never really intended for series production, it has passed through the hands of various collector and was, for a time, part of the Jaguar/Land Rover Collection
