This is why "scientific consensus" should always get the side-eye and be subject to critical analysis of who is forming the consensus, where their funding comes from, and what they are trying to impose on which groups of people.

Experts, researchers, policymakers, and academics are just people and they are biased and imperfect and molded by their upbringing and environment. Yet, we have made gods of them. I tremble for humanity.
