doodle comic semi related to a mini rant i went on bc i think we as a society need to leave the whole "our shy innocent helpless baby boy dweet who can do no harm" bit in 2017 n touch upon the fact we see prime examples of him being a vengeful, scheming little shit coupled by his impulsiveness and recklessness; craving to be seen as the underdog or hero, The Leader, to his peers, so much so hes willing to ignore the possible consequences that follow afterwards- consequences that may or may not affect himself and or others

Passage The Scholar

Honestly, I was afraid that the art would turn out to be bad, but now I'm basically satisfied with my work done.

Analyzing my design read below:

Scholar, like the Martyr, is an artificially created scug. Only if the Martyr is "not very lucky" with his creator, then this iteration is quite adequate. I made myself an assistant for collecting pearls and other data. Scholar is smaller than ordinary slugcats, instead of the usual antennae, he has one large antenna, a purse for collecting pearls, and a long tongue as an additional limb... Electricity as their main weapon. You might have noticed that the Scholar's ears and tail sparkle, and that they have appendages similar to those of centipedes, and for good reason! In case of danger, Scholar can shock a victim with an electric shock, as our unloved arthropods do. Slugcat is half-mechanized, so it requires electricity to power it, which it extracts from the same centipedes, as you are my smart ones~ Neon was added purely for beauty, but, in theory, it can help Scholar to illuminate the area a little in the dark, although the darkness is not terrible for him anyway. After all, this little scug is equipped with an observer's eye! Yes, yes, you heard right. And his functions are still the same: showing all sorts of holograms with different information, highlighting his surroundings in the dark, and allowing the iterator to see where his ward is going. Scholar can't talk normally, so he can only communicate using these holograms, which is actually quite convenient when it comes to communicating with his creator. Well, I think I've told you everything about him)
