In dnd/high fantasy anything, if you give me the option to play elf, I'm going elf. I knew nothing going into divinity 2 other than it was a larian game and I have nothing to play bg3 so I thought "why not? This looks fun" (mega spoilers under the cut)

Oh my GOD the amount of thinking I've done accidentally targeting Ifan as my romantic interest and learning about the stuff that happened with the deathfog after developing feelings. His anguish is so palpable when he discovers that Lucian himself orchestrated the deathfog bomb and used not just his right hand man but the man who held elves in such high regard after being raised by them to essentially wipe them out and leave him with that survivors guilt. It's delicious and painful and I just want to reach through my screen and hold him for just a moment.

longtime no post dos2 folks but have y’all ever thought about what romancing an elf means for ifan. like do y’all ever lie awake at night and consider all of the implications. the emotions.
