What kind of clothes would Vasco wear after Machete's death? He tends to wear bright and warm colors, and I was wondering if he would start wearing dark and cool colors to reflect his inner state

I also had thought that he might start to veer towards more somber shades. In reality, late 16th century fashion was dominated by dark colors, if you look at portraits from late renaissance/early baroque eras you quickly notice that pitch black was the most fashionable color (compare that to early and high renaissance fashion from 1400 to 1550 which was visibly more vibrant and colorful). I might be bending the timeline a little bit by having him dress in vivid blues with gold accents, but it's his signature style and I think it mirrors his luminous, free-spirited and approachable personality well. After Machete's death he might've experienced a period where jewel tones had lost their luster to him.

Hi! I absolutely love the Love and Loss AU. I wanted to ask what colors is Cliff? Is he black, white, and purple or are there other colors?

LAL Cliff is mostly purple, monochrome to match thespius's amber monochrome as a design quirk of being resurrected by him (as well as his suit getting a matching pattern which i struggle to draw!) He's very silly to me.

my personal favourite animal aspect for demon!Aziraphale is the European badger (Meles meles) 🦡

and that's because badgers are shy, tidy creatures of habit who love their food - sound familiar?

badgers are strictly nocturnal and rarely seen during the day, they're elusive and tend to avoid contact with humans. they dig burrows called setts with distinctive entrances shaped like a D on its side, so it looks like a little doorway!

if you're ever in the woods (in Europe, obviously) and there seems to be little paths carved through the underbrush, they're likely made by badgers! they walk the same paths every night, to and from their sett, their favourite foraging spots and their latrine. yes, you read that right, latrine - a sett of badgers will have an area designated specifically for doing their business away from food, water and their sett, which is quite sanitary! they also gather new bedding to sleep on every night and kick it out the next day so they can be comfy-cozy and clean, which i'm sure Aziraphale would appreciate.

badgers vary their omnivorous diet throughout the year, favouring certain foods based on what is most plentiful each season. the bulk of their diet is made up of earthworms, but they also eat other invertebrates like slugs and insects. fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, roots, bulbs, birds' eggs, and small animals including hedgehogs, rabbits (sorry, Eric) and frogs (sorry, Hastur) - they're little stripy gourmands!

I had a Thought last night, and while Emmet doesn't actually have Arceus's crest on each of his eyes in WtST, I thought that it would look really cool, so here we are.

Now that I'm more awake, I realize that this concept was most like implanted in my brain a while ago after looking at this piece of artwork by Esprei. Which is fantastic, by the way, go look at it and give it attention, look at it it's beautiful. (Still a little confused on the mentioning etiquette on here; I don't know if I should tag people whenever I mention them or not, as every time I've tagged another user has been when I've either made something for them or found something I think they'd like, and I'm quite concerned about bothering people. Sorry)

While I'm not totally, 100% happy with everything about this piece, I do really the contrast with everything being monochrome but a few sparkles and the crests in his eyes. I do like that a lot. Contrast, beloved.

Could I have done this with Akari or Rei and had it not be WtST stuff? Yes, yes I could have. Did I? No, of course not, how was I supposed to resist the chance to give Emmet a li'l extra funk?
