"Other than that, I can't say if the flowers would still hold their bloom for me" Emmrich Volkarin surrounded by his cherished flowers, inspired by a scene from Bright Star.

The crossovers between Gale Dekarios and the mages of Dragon Age continue! Today it’s the turn of the magnificent Vivienne de Fer, whom I’ve dressed in Gale’s epilogue outfit!
If I were to continue the series, perhaps including the mages from The Veilguard, who would you like to see next? Let me know!

Like Mr. Darcy, Part 2 I’m continuing my BG3 Regency series with another iconic scene from Pride and Prejudice—this time featuring our beloved Gale Dekarios as the protagonist!

Raphael, son of Mephistopheles. It’s funny how two things have coincidentally kept me away from social media and limited my personal art time: a demanding workload and wanting to avoid spoilers as I (slowly) continue my run of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
But my forgetfulness worked in my favor this time—I just realized I never posted this drawing of Raphael here!

It's been a pleasure working on this commission of James! Follow this project if you love monstrous creatures and the Regency era! ❤️
Tumblr media
This handsome satyr is named Captain James Grigoriou, drawn by @esthesiaart! He's English but of Greek ancestry, hence the Greek key background that is also reminiscent of ocean waves for his profession in the navy.
James is an OC from a Regency monster romance I'm working on. It's inspired by Persuasion, but it has some elements of Emma too, and the human woman James is in love with is his childhood friend, Alice Elsworth. So the story is basically childhood friends to enemies to lovers. I'm kind of shy about this story, but if people express interest in it, I may be persuaded (heh) to share some snippets of it on here at some point.
Go check out more of @esthesiaart's wonderful art! I found her through this portrait of Regency!Gale from BG3, and I also love that she put him in an iconic wet white shirt! She's also got a Regency!Wyll portrait and other art that is more monstrous.

I realised I had never posted this Astarion on Tumblr! I drew this after hearing his story about the most terrible punishment inflicted by Cazador 😭

After the crossover of their divine versions, here is the one in which they appear on screen for the first time! I am so fond of these outfits!
(Is it just me or does Gale look good in all kinds of wizard outfits?)

‘You can't spell necromancer without romance’. Thanks Bioware for releasing the concept art of the companions! I finally figured out what Emmrich's boots look like, haha! (Study from "The Bouquet" by J.C. Leyendecker)

The crossovers between Gale and the mages of Dragon Age continue. After Morrigan and Anders, today it's the turn of Solas, one of my favourite characters of the series. I wanted to play on the divine aspect of both, and the costumes they wear when they manifest as such <3

I saw Lucanis' dark circles in the promotional material released yesterday… and please, someone give this poor man a rest - or bring him numerous cups of Espresso coffee! <3

After drawing Gale and Anders in each other's shoes… I couldn't resist making Gale wear the clothes of another iconic Dragon Age "mage". Morrigan's clothes look great on our wizard of Waterdeep, don't you think?
