16. What’s the most daunting part of your process? Ex, planning, sketching, lineart, rendering etc

Line art for sure... at least when I'm doing regular lines with a pen. If I'm using something like a chalk brush for lines then it's not as scary but making it perfect with a pen brush is sometimes an uphill battle for me (unless I get into the groove with it but for the most part I'm just like eek...)

23. Do you listen to music or watch shows while you work? If so, what’s your favourite?

Oh absolutely music. Usually listening to either siivagunner or a vaporwave/futurefunk album from bandcamp. Occasionally a VGM OST.

I occasionally listen to shows in the bg while I work. Usually dubbed anime I've seen before though. Currently working my way through the Animax dub of CCS. :3

2. When was the last time you cried? Who knows, 2023's been a weird year. Sometime in the last couple weeks, probably

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? it gets used, but I wouldn't say a lot

5. What sports do you play/have you played? Tennis and cross-country in high school.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Weirdly, eyes

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Prefer happy endings, am not a fan of jumpscare or torture porn horror

8. Any special talents? I wouldn't say anything is special

10. What are your hobbies? Video games, tabletop games (mainly D&D but have played other systems), I sing in a VGM focused orchestra

11. Do you have any pets? I do not, but if it weren't for the fact most my family is allergic, I'd probably have gotten a cat by now

Ilia is the cuddler, finally. She likes to surprise Oscar when she knows he's feeling down sometimes. And she's really gentle with this kind of stuff.

Oscar absolutely makes the bed. Ilia could, but Oscar is an acts of service kinda guy. He enjoys it.

Ilia wakes up first. I've covered Oscar waking up late before, but Ilia seems like an early riser anyway. White fang stuff.

I think I've established that Oscar likes VGM and soundtracks, but I do imagine he shares Ilia's love of indie as well. Good ol' indie music.

Ilia is more protective. Oscar is smol and must be protected at all costs. She will break your teeth.

Um Ilia is more likely to sing in the shower but only by a little. She hums songs in there.

They're both a little decensitised to scary or sad things because of trauma but out of the two of them, Ilia is probably more likely to cry. Just by a little

Oscar is still a therapy shopper.

Ilia only gives the gentlest of kisses to the homies, but Oscar doesn't do any at all so Ilia wins by default?

Oscar just about wins the dominant competition. Neither of them are particularly assertive so there's not much to go off

Starting off the “Halloween lead up” that I’ve traditionally done on this blog leading up to Halloween...but this time I’ve managed to save enough relevant things that it fills up the entire month of October!!!!! Also I’d say this starts with an extremely cool downbeat fakeout/ambiguity, the drums don’t come in where I mentally place beat 1 from the drumless section anyways (and even when the drums DO come in it’s pretty unclear where beat 1 is lol and I LOVE that feeling)!! I guess the barlines kinda follow her voice but even then that’s not there from the start, so there’s still a decent chunk of downbeat ambiguity going on!

I also wrote 2:46 to the end as 4/4 to the end, but it’s a lot weirder than that in terms of how it feels, there’s a very strong crash hit at 2:47 that makes it feel more like [6+6+5] + [7+6+6+6+6] imo, almost personally wrote it as “3/8, 3/8, 5/16, 7/16, 3/8, 3/8, 3/8, 3/8, 4/4″ and I’m sure some people would write it that way or at least as 3/8 until the last bit!

uh also as a fair warning since this track is extremely obscure and most people would not know what it is......DO NOT LOOK this game up haha, it is an EXTREMELY “not appropriate for anyone under 18″ horror vn lol
