Alisa beamed at Lumiose City, wearing a white sundress, a white sunhat with yellow roses on her head. "WOW!"Alisa beamed the wind blowing through her dress. She gasped as the wind blew her hat off. Kieran quickly ran off and caught her hat, smiling as walked back and he handed it to her. "Thanks"Alisa chuckles putting her hat on. "She got changed just for this occasion"Perrin chuckles taking a picture of her younger cousin. "They're so cute, I'm glad sandwich boy isn't here!"Carmine smiled watching her brother and Alisa. Kieran followed Alisa, holding her hand as she pulled her after him. Alisa smiled, pointing to different shops and buildings, Kieran following her. "Guys, according to the map we gotta backtrack to Santalune City for Kieran's gym challenge!"Penny informs her rotom phone hovering in front of her as she walked over. "And I'll capture every exciting moment of our journey!"Perrin smiled setting her camera up.

The group gathered together, smiling at the camera. Perrin pressed a button and hurried over. Alisa smiled, Kieran leaning against her. Perrin stood behind Carmine, smiling as the camera flashed. "I hope it caught my good side"Drayton jokes getting an unamused look from Carmine. "Reminds me of a certain someone"Penny mutters smiling in amusement. Kieran flinched as a great ball on his belt wriggled and quickly held it still, making sure the pokemon didn't pop out. "You can't meet her yet..."Kieran mutters causing the ball to stop. "Kie, come on!"Alisa waved getting his attention. He ran over to her, and smiled walking beside the silver haired girl, the duo following the others. "Come out guys!" Furret, Chimchar and Cubchoo landed looking around excitedly. Chimchar and Cubchoo leaped into her arms, beaming as they looked around. "Cha, char!"Chimchar beamed pointing to a large tower like building.

Alisa chuckles, smiling as Cubchoo waved his paws towards an ice cream stand. Kieran ran off, returning with an ice cream, handing it to the beaming pokemon. "Cha, choo!"Cubchoo cheered laughter coming from Perrin as she took a picture. "Adorable"Drayton says patting Cubcho's head. Chimchar smiled as Kieran handed him a tamato berry, taking a bite out of it. "There we go, all fed"Kieran says giving his Furret a kasib berry. Chimchar and Cubchoo leaped down, walking as they ate their snacks, Furret walking with them causing the others to laugh or chuckle. "Let's go"Carmine smiled walking after the three pokemon. "I can't wait to see the Santalune Gym, I wonder how it differs from the gyms back home!"Alisa smiled. Kieran nodded, listening to her chatter. Cubchoo and Chimchar looked around, Furret following them to keep the two out of trouble. "You could get lost here, I'm glad for this map"Penny says looking down at her phone.

"This way." The group followed Penny, stopping once to grab them all more snacks. "Oh let's stop at the Pokemon Center right there"Perrin suggests. "Alisa, there's something you gotta do remember?"Penny reminds. "Huh? What was I supposed to do?"Alisa blinked looking confused. Carmine and Perrin sighed, shaking their heads while Drayton laughed behind them. "Of course she forgot." Alisa blinked in confusion, tilting her head to the side. "Ali"Kieran says shaking his head. "What? What'd I forget! Tell me"Alisa blinked looking at them in turn. "I think it's best we let her learn a lesson in remembering things"Perrin suggests. "I vote yes"Carmine agrees. "Same here"Drayton says. "Yes from me"Penny nods. "Sorry Ali...but a yes from me too"Kieran chuckles looking at her. "You're all so mean"Alisa pouted. "You forgot, you remember"Carmine chuckles flicking the girls forehead. "Fine, watch! I'll remember!"Alisa huffed Kieran looking amused as they walked to the nearest center.

Carmine and Perrin stood side by side, Rika picking up their outgoing call. "Hm? Where's Alisa, you two?"Rika frowned looking around the screen. "She forgot to call you!" Rika shook her head and sighed. "That girl..."Rika mutters. "Please tell me you're making her learn a lesson in remembering important things?"Rika demands. "We all voted yes on it"Perrin nods. "Good! Just wait till SHE calls me, she's in for a years worth of scolding!"Rika says. Brassius popped into view, and waved. "I heard the Little Flower forgot to call, thanks for letting us know you all made it safely"Brassius greets. "Yep, our pleasure, it's a relief she invited us or else she'd have you guys worried sick"Carmine smiled nodding to Alisa's father. "What's your plans for kalos, kids?"Rika asks. "Kieran is gonna challenge the gyms but after the last gym he'll stop and we'll continue travelling"Carmine responds. "No elite four and champion challenge?"Rika asks.

"No, he's challenging the gyms for fun...and to impress Ali"Carmine chuckles. Rika blinked, then smiled. Her, Perrin and Carmine chuckled, knowing looks on their faces. "They're cute aren't they?"Rika asks. "They are"Perrin chuckles. "Very cute"Carmine smiled. Brassius looked between them, looking confused for a moment until everything they said finally clicked. "Wait-!"Brassius starts looking alarmed. Rika quickly ended the call with a pleased smile, laughter erupting from Perrin and Carmine. "What's so funny?"Drayton asks walking over. "UGH! And of course you ruin the moment, you dragon jerk!"Carmine glared. "Hey, I just wanna laugh as well"Drayton sighed rubbing the back of his head. Alisa sat beside Kieran, the two looking through a book as their pokemon laid curled up together. Penny scrolled through her phone. "Guys, we're gonna spend the day here in Lumiose City and move on once everyone is awake tomorrow"Carmine informs walking over with Perrin.

"We should make the most of today and take lots of pictures before we move on"Perrin smiled. "That sounds good, what do you think, Ali?"Kieran nods. "I like the idea"Alisa beamed. A call came through the phone Carmine and Perrin had just used, the group heading over to it. Lacey and Crispin came into view, smiling at them. "You guys made it!"Crispin waved. "Crispin, don't hog the whole screen!"Lacey scolds Crispin moving out of the way. "Yeah, we're gonna spend the day here and move on"Carmine nods. "That's good, we wanted to check in, so don't let us keep you! Show me lots of cute pictures too next time we call!"Lacey smiled eyeing Drayton with suspicion. "Hey, is it so bad I wanna see Alisa perform?"Drayton says. "You're not even calling Ali by her nickname"Lacey responds. "Anyway, you guys be careful"Lacey smiled. "Have a fiery time you guys!"Crispin waved. The call came to the end, Drayton sighing. "You guys love picking on me"Drayton says. "Let's go explore!"Perrin calls.

Laughter came from the group, Perrin taking pictures as they explored the city. Alisa and Carmine perched themselves on a light pole, Perrin taking a picture of the two as Kieran carried Chimchar and Cubchoo, his Furret beaming. "Hey look, more ice cream, let's all grab some for a quick snack"Penny says. Cubchoo reached towards the stand, his eyes sparkling. "You had some, Cubchoo"Kieran says Cubchoo clapping. The great ball wriggled again, Kieran making a shushing noise causing it to fall still. Alisa ran ahead and crashed into someone, their hand grabbing her before she fell over. "Careful." N stared down at her, Alisha holding a eight month old baby. "Sorry Mister.."Alisa says. "I'm N, this is my partner, Alisha, and our son, Dante"N greets. Dante babbled, reaching for Alisa beaming. "Yes, she's a pretty girl isn't she?"Alisha giggled. "We're visiting from Galar, my partner is the new ice type gym leader"N smiled taking Dante, the child playing with his hair.

"I'm from Paldea, I'm here for the Showcase, and Kie is here for the gyms"Alisa smiled. "Oh, I remember my days performing"Alisha giggled smiling as memories came flooding back to her. "You were an amazing performer"N smiled wrapping an arm around Alisha's shoulders and pulling her close, the tip of their noses touching. Dante babbled, smiling at them both. Alisa stared at them both, wondering if her performance would bring someone for her to love like that to her. She looked back at Kieran, who was arguing with Carmine about ice cream flavors, and looked down. "You'll find him." She looked up, finding Alisha smiling at her, N nuzzling Dante's nose. "The one you'll love in this life and the next will come, but live your life to the fullest as you wait"Alisha beamed. "Okay"Alisa nods. "Hey Ali!" She turned, Kieran waving to her, holding a peach colored ice cream. "Coming!"Alisa calls. She waved to Alisha and N, then hurried away, feeling her excitement for her new journey grow.

So, I wrote a story earlier today, but it doesn't fit the theme of first meeting, so have a snippet that is Fox x Yuu's first meeting.

Note: Yuu is afab who uses they/them pronouns. They are addicted to color, all colors, all of the time and as a result dye their hair weekly and wear colored contacts to match their hair.

Yuu rolls their eyes, unnoticed behind their dark sunglasses, as Chancellor Palpatine leads them down the opulent halls of the Senate Building.

So far as they're aware, these people are meant to be public servants. So why does the Senate building look only a couple of steps removed from a palace?

"Ah, yes. It's important for you to meet the head of the guard."

Yuu rolls their eyes again, "As you say, Chancellor." Still, there's no harm in being polite to the man signing those sweet, sweet paychecks.

He leads them over to a tall man with the symbol of the Guard painted on his shoulder, "Mistress Yuuna," Yuu fights the urge to grimace at the use of their full name as well as by being called mistress, "This is CC-1010. 1010, this is my new Personal Assisstant, Yuuna. Give her the tour."

Palpatine vanishes into his office as if he had never been there. Yuu's glad for it, they've always hated that old people smell.

The man, CC-1010 pulls his helmet off, revealing a handsome, but tired, face and greying hair. "Nice to meet you, Mistress Yuuna."

Funnily enough, he doesn't sound all that happy.

"Yuu," they correct, "Not Yuuna. Not Mistress. Just Yuu. It's my preference."

CC-1010 just blinks at them.

"Do you have a name?" Yuu continues, "I'm not calling you by a number. That's just rude." He still doesn't answer, do they continue, "If you don't have one, I'll just give you one. How about...Tenny? It's like Penny, but with a T."

"No."

"That's totally valid." Yuu chirps as they bounce over so they're standing next to him, "hm...what about, Red? Cause your armor. Ooh, or Scarlett. Crimson? Oh! I know! Vermillion!"

"Hey, quick question,"

"Yes?"

"Do you ever stop talking?"

"Only when I sleep, why?"

"Lovely."

"Yes. I think I'll call you Vermillion. Vermie for short—" Yuu rambles as they skip next to him, trying to keep up with him much longer strides.

CC-1010 suddenly stops, "I have a name, it's Fox."

"FOX!" Yuu bounces on their toes, "Oh! That's a great name, Foxy! It even goes with your uniform—"

"Fox. Just Fox. Not Foxy."

"Right, yeah. That's what I said. Anyway! Are all of your brothers named after animals? Do you have a brother named Hummingbird? They're my favorite animal you know."

"...are you breathing while you talk?"

"Breathing is for lesser beings."

"...you're going to be a problem, aren't you?"

Yuu just grins at him, wide enough that their eyes crinkle and their cheeks dimple.

Fox rolls his eyes, "I know why hummingbirds are your favorite animal."

"Because they're colorful—" Yuu starts.

"Because," Foxy interrupts, "Like you, They never stop moving, little bird."

Yuu blinks at him, stunned, and then they grin, "You," they point at him, "Just gave me a nickname! We're now besties forever!"

"You're annoying."

"Thank you!"

Once upon a time, there was a girl who wrote cartoon fanfictions. She liked to publish her fanfiction on AO3, but she began to worry that AO3 wasn't reaching enough people. So, she came up with an idea: she would post one-shot fanfiction on Tumblr as well.

Halloween SOA Day 15: Blood

Summary: Juice x OC Scarlett "Scar" Teller. Angst for our sweet boy. TW: Violence

Juice hopped off his bike not caring that it crashed to the ground as he ran to the front door that had been kicked in. The dead silence and copper penny smell assaulted his senses and told him what he would find. It still didn’t help his brain process the sight in the living. Amongst the toppled furniture, shredded clothes and broken décor lay his soulmate in a pool of blood that shocked him to his core. Blood was everywhere it shouldn’t be. It spanned from dark and clotted under her arms from the slits to bright red droplets splattered around her and on every surface of the room.

“Scar” Juice managed to croak out as he broke out of the spell that kept his feet glued to the only clean area as he jumped over the broken coffee table not caring as his camo pants started to soak up the cold blood around his Old Lady. Getting no response Juice felt for a pulse as he dialed 911 with shaky fingers as he tried to hold back the tears that threatened to spill down his face. With his lifestyle he was no stranger to violence and death but for it to happen to someone he loved made him crumble.

“Juice” stated Chibs quietly as he squatted next to the young man as police walked around setting up for the investigation and the sirens from the ambulance faded. Juice just continued to stare in front of him, to the blood soaked carpet where his beloved Scarlett had been. He felt like he was everywhere and nowhere all at once. “Shes okay. You saved her” murmured Chibs soothingly. Those words pulled at Juice as he turned to the older man. “Did I? Because the human body holds about one and a half gallons of blood…. And I’m pretty sure all of Scarlett’s is on me and the carpet” snapped Juice quietly as the tears poured down his face freely as he punched his fist down into the cold, wet carpet. As Juice fought for control of his emotions he tried to think of the facts. Yes he had felt her heart beat return under his fingertips but her skin had been so pale, so cold and lips bluish. Yes her chest had risen with a breath but it had been small and shallow. Yes she had been alive but was her brain okay? “Juice she’s alive right now. She is so strong I know she will be fine” replied Chibs firmly as he stood pulling Juice up with him and dragging him to the door of the house.

You know how most of the movies are going straight to steaming services with either no theatrical release or else just one week of theatrical release. How does that affect the actors and other people involved in terms of making money? Is it good or bad financially?

It's mostly bad, which was why Scarlette Johannson sued Marvel when they dropped Black Widow onto Disney+ and theaters on the same day, thus undermining theatre box office performances which the percentage that Scarlette would have recieved is based on. Disney reportedly made over $60 million with rentals on Disney+, and Scarlett wouldn't see a penny from the profit made on Disney+ .

When WB decided in 2020 to drop their movies in theatres and streaming on the same day, at least they paid millions to their movie actors in compensation. Gal Gadot allegedly received $10 million for Wonder Woman II on top of her salary plus percentage of theatre total gross profit.

For high tier movie stars, they can demand a guaranteed sliding scale fee for each day that streaming infringes on the film’s theater run. Other stars have demand to be paid for their ability to drive social-media interest in a movie or series, which in turn drives subscriptions.  Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson charges a $1 million social-media fee to promote his films on Twitter and Facebook. like he did for Red Notice (X). When You third season dropped on Netflix, social media activity associated with Penn Badgley and his character surged and indirectly benefited Netflix, and so It wouldn’t surprise me if he asked to be compensated for it.

hey. i have been loving all of your stories so far! what about a scarlett x reader hurt/comfort story with some fluff. scarlett gets badly hurt on set or something and reader freaks out. then reader comforting and helping scarlett recover.

Set

It was a normal day for both, you and Scarlett, as she left the house early to get to the set on time while you got ready for the shoot you had today. It was a rather important one.

So it was around 3 pm when your Assistent crashed the shoot with your phone in hand. “Miranda, what’s going on?” You asked kindly as it seemed important and in all honesty you were a huge fan of her. “Elizabeth called, Scarlett got hurt on set and theyre waiting for the doctor right now” she rambled but you zoned out after hearing that she’s hurt.

“Gotta go” was the last thing you said while sprinting out of your room and grabbing your bag. The good news: the set was barely 5 minutes away and due to the fact that you may have been speeding you got there in under 3.

“Where’s she?” You asked as you crashed into the set just like Miranda did a couple of minutes ago. But you were a lot angrier. “Y/n” Chris Evans ran towards you nearly as freaked out as you were. “What happened?” You questioned while getting to her. “Two of the ropes that were supposed to hold her up broke and she fell like 3.5 meters onto a mat but she only screamed in pain before blacking out” he explained.

When you arrived the paramedics where already there hosting her into the car. “Wait, that’s my wife” you screamed and ran towards them immediately grabbing her hand. “If she’s your wife, you’re allowed to drive with her” one of them told you and you quickly climbed in and sat next to her.

“We can’t do anything until we’re at the hospital, it seems like she broke her leg and blacked out due to pain but we can’t say more” the other one explained as you kept stroking Scarlett’s hair and whispering reassuring nothings into her ear.

You sat anxiously in the waiting room while your wife was in the operation room. “Here, I got you a coffee” Elizabeth said as she sat next you wrapping an arm around you. “She’ll be fine y/n, she’s strong” she reassured you. You cried into Elizabeth’s arm, something just felt wrong.

After an hour and a half, a doctor came to you and you jumped up. “Miss Johansson, it’s seems like your wife twisted her leg but also has a brain trauma, we are trying our best to stop the bleeding. I’m sorry” he said before disappearing again. You broke down crying, sobbing, until Elizabeth came and pulled you into a hug. At one point you were so exhausted from crying that you fell asleep.

And two hours later, still nobody came to tell you that she was fine. God, you could only hope that she’d be fine. The thing that woke you phone ringing. You didn’t know the number but still picked up. “Y/n Johansson?” The person on the other side of the line asked. “It’s the stunt apartment. We’d like to discuss some things with you over the accident” the person kept talking but you couldn’t contain your anger.

“You gotta be kidding me, my wife is in the hospital because YOU fucked things up and NOW YOU want ME to come to you so we can talk about the accident?! You can be happy if I don’t sue you until you do not have a penny left! And you better not think that you’ll keep your job! She could have died!” By now you were screaming causing the whole waiting room to look at you. You hung up and mumbled a short sorry to the people around you.

“Miss Johansson?” A doctor called out and you immediately ran toward him. “I’m sorry, but we can’t promise that she’ll wake up. If she doesn’t wake up in the next 24 hours we can’t do anything for her. She’ in room 304 if you wanna see her” you mumbled a thank you before turning to Lizzie with tears in your eyes.

“Y/n, what did he say?” She asked after wrapping her arm around you. “If she doesn’t wake up in the next 24 hours…” you broke down sobbing, again. “Come on, let’s go and see her huh?” Elizabeth carried most of your weight until you entered the room.

You got to Scarlett’s side and glided your hand over her cheek before lightly kissing it. “Do you want me to stay or give you some time alone?” Liz asked. You couldn’t decide so she did for you “I’ll get you some things to wear and a toothbrush okay?” She asked and you nodded.

“Scar, baby, please you gotta wake up. I can’t live without you. I love you so much” you stayed the whole time, the only breaks where when you had to go to the bathroom. Lizzie brought you your stuff, Chris brought you drinks, Miranda brought you some things to work on so you could have a distraction and Florence cooked you food. They were great but I’d didn’t change the facts.

It did not change that the 24 hours were over now and that she did not wake up causing the doctors to return. “Miss Johansson, we are sorry but you should think about plugging out the machines…” you immediately denied. “No, I want to keep them on! I’m not ready to let go” you mumbled and while the doctors weren’t really convinced they left the room.

So the days passed and every day was the same. Your friends and family visited around noon, Lizzie was there to bring you breakfast while Flo was there for dinner. You never left the room and barely showered in those 3 weeks, Scarlett looked so pale and hurt that you were starting to believe that turning off the machines may be the right thing.

After the fourth week the doctors came back to you. “You should really think about turning off the machines, we know that this is hard but the possibility that she wakes up is around zero.” One of them told you. “I… just a day longer, I… I can’t… I don’t think that she’d just leave me like that. Please, I’ll pay the double but don’t plug them out just yet” you cried causing them to agree.

You fell into the chair next to her and decided to call her parents. “Melanie, Karsten, hey… uhm this is really hard, but the doctors want to turn off the machines. So you could come say goodbye” all of you were sobbing and they told you they’d be over later when they could drive again.

Then you told the rest and everyone came to say goodbye. At one point the room was full with people that were close to her and all of you were crying. They all said their goodbye but left you alone at some point so you could really say your last goodbye.

One last time you wanted to fall asleep with her, so you put on one of her hoodies that Lizzie brought you and laid next to her crying yourself to sleep.

You woke up to a hand stroking over the skin of your side. Nails lightly scratching over your hip like Scarlett always did. That’s when you suddenly sat up turning to look at her. There she sat wide awake looking at you. Her cheeks were now rosy and she looked so alive. When you finally realized you threw yourself into her arms. “You’re alive, I was so scared. I thought you’d never wake up again” you cried into her shoulder as she hugged you tight to her body kissing your forehead.

“I’m alright love, I could never leave you. I’m so sorry I scared you” she mumbled until you suddenly sat up again. “I gotta get the doctors, and I have to call everyone… and and” you were stumbling over your words causing her to chuckle. “I already did all of that, but I didn’t want to wake you so come back here!” She giggled when you fell back into her.

“So you stayed here the whole 4 weeks huh?” She asked with a grin. “Of course, I could never leave you” you said hugging her tighter.

“I love cuddling you but do you think you could help me go and brush my teeth? I really wanna kiss you” you giggled before helping her up and caring almost of her weight. You helped her brush her teeth as she sat on the counter. The moment she washed out her mouth she pulled you between her legs to kiss you which quickly turned into a make out session until the door suddenly opened.

Yup, even with 28 it was embarrassing when parents caught you making out. “Hun, it’s so great to see that you’re alive” her dad said while you made space for them to hug her. Her cheeks were red while she hugged them back. “Don’t be embarrassed, it’s great to see that the two of you are still in love like that” her mum said causing the both of you to turn eben redder.

It was a long way until everything was going to be okay again but you’d do everything to be with her forever.
