Oh my god him!! Okay, so, tea in the morning, no matter what. I think he's not really a coffee person, so he'll always have tea. As much as he loves his people and his kingdom, this man will take any chance to grab you and take you somewhere where only the sea knows. Dances in the rain, at least 15 minutes together in the morning. No matter if he has somewhere to go, or if you need to do something. Not a day goes by without at least 15 minutes. He for sure tells you all the legends of the sea!

scars new skin looks fantastic! im curious, when you make skins for scar (or any other ccs youve worked with), does he give you a vibe to go for or is it up to you to come up with something entirely from scratch?

Depends!

I've had people putting together moodboards of what they look for, sometimes just a reference or two, and other times they just go "hey, I'm doing this bit, do you have ideas for it?"

Vetinari is shot in the leg when he is forty-six years old. In the next five years he will present to the world as both disabled and abled. As ill and healthy. There is a cane—does he need it or is it for show? Both, naturally. He needs it. It is for show. Look at the cane, do not look at the body. The trappings of High Office obscure the individual. Until he is half-undressed, and his doctor is asking in a dreary, melancholic fashion: ‘Have you been doing the stretches I gave you?’ And he is replying: ‘I am fastidious about it.’ Not that it will help in the long run, Vetinari does not add. His doctor is then humming and hawing and muttering beneath his breath about the entirety of the situation. Which is what? Vetinari is five years on from the event that took a goodly portion of flesh out of his thigh. The exit wound was a horror to look at, he heard. He did not see it in much detail, it being on the backside of his thigh and his not being in his right-mind due to blood loss and pain. All of this has meant that Ease of Movement swiftly became a long-term, Ongoing Issue. Lately, Vetinari has found it a little more difficult to work those muscles of his thigh around the part through which the bullet ripped. Still, for all the pain and frustration of impaired mobility that comes with age and catastrophic wounds Vetinari remains grateful that he stood up when he did. That it is just his leg and not his chest. In a morbid mood, six months ago, he made an appointment with Downey and asked him to sketch out the trajectory of the entire event. Name the organs that would have been torn up. Write them as a list of could-be’s that didn’t happen. Downey did, in that cold and ruthless manner he has when he is being cruel to the people around him. It is a manner that Vetinari appreciates for it cauterizes emotions and Vetinari feels the need for great and masterful cauterization.

Whumptober Day 27: “You drew stars around my scars; But now I’m bleeding.” | Matches | Scars | “Let me see”

Summary: Liam thought werewolves couldn't get scars, but he's seen Theo's before. When he gets another after a simple mission gone wrong, he finally finds out what pieces of Theo's past are permanently marked on his body.

The chimera’s eyes are fixed on his, chest heaving.  “I… Liam.”  He swallows.  “They made it so scars would stay on me, no matter how much I could heal.  It’s a reminder of failures.”  His eyes flick to Liam’s lips.  “Liam.” His thumb brushes a scar on Theo’s cheek.  “What’s this from?” “Surgery,” he says, voice thick, words barely coming out.  “Please.” “Please what?” His heart is racing so fast, Liam thinks it might explode.  “Liam, please just stop teasing me and-” The hand on Theo’s cheek wraps to the back of his head and pulls him down.  The sound the chimera makes is cut off when their lips meet.  Liam grabs him around the waist and pulls their bodies together, hips and chests fitting together, Theo’s back pressed against the counter.  It rucks his shirt up just enough for Liam to slide his hand up, rocking against Theo, who breaks away from his lips with a gasp.  Liam goes back in, kissing him harder, tongue swiping inside the chimera’s mouth when it parts open with a whimper.   When he pulls back, Theo steps away from the counter, chasing his lips.  Liam gives it to him, both arms going up the back of his shirt, clutching at his burning skin.  His own back hits the wall of the bathroom, next to the shower, Theo kissing him with everything he has.
