WARNINGS: talks of scars and how you got them, non-sexual nudity, mention of sex off camera, slight angst.

«what about this one?».

in all your previous relationships, nudity had been always inherently sexual and while there was nothing wrong with it, there was a special kind of intimacy that came with tracing each other's scars right after a bath in the summer.

«... I guess it must have been when I scraped my knee on harsh concrete after me and my sister held an illegal sledding competition» you chuckled lightly as you felt the slight graze on your knee, where you knew a soft white stain was in the inside part «... you'd think snow would be soft, but it's the concrete beneath it that screws you up».

«how old were you?».

and maybe the intimacy came from talking about parts that hadn't yet met, as you adjusted yourself comfortably so that you could turn to stare at aki's face.

the handsomeness always took you out, especially as he smoked in bed, eyes ahead of him although you felt his gaze onto you.

«five... maybe... six... I remember my sister being so little and yet... I was the one crying when I saw the blood on the snow» the thought made you chuckle as the hand onto your knee moved higher, halfway through her thigh, where a soft gash went halfway through it.

it was a slight goading, and you saw it for what it truly was: a sign that aki was enjoying his time with you as he smoked the last of his cigarette, putting it out in the ashtray on the nighttable next to him.

«hhm, look who's talking» you pouted slightly, as it was now your turn to gently prod onto the side of the man in bed with you, where a thin reddish scar - raised coarse skin met your thumb - stood out «... how did you get this, mr. perfectly fine?».

«the something, something devil» and like that the cozy atmosphere was disrupted, although aki had attempted at being humorous «think it was back in my rookie days. can't even remember what did it».

and that got you wondering: how many other scars on aki's body were due to devils?

you had pretended to accept it, when you had started dating a devil hunter, but the truth that he could so easily be ripped from you broke you often.

not that you allowed aki to see it.

«is there any scar on your body that isn't from a devil?» and even through your question, you shone sarcasm as aki finally fixed you with his usual moody upturned eyebrow. you basked int that attention, into the knowledge that albeit naked, it was just your face he was watching. it was strangely flattering to know he valued your sarcasm above your pretty body.

the thought had your sour expression sweeten as he gently pushed himself into you, till he was halfway with his torso onto you as he brought your hand to his neck and back.

«what would you say about these?».

the slightly raised and broken skin due to your nails; the nudity might not be inherently sexual but the events of the previous nights had definitely been and the thought brought a fluster to your face although from the slurred movements - no need in the whole world - this wasn't an attempt to set up the mood.

«fuck off».

«isn't that rude» he shot back, all too playful as you only knew him to be in the morning. after a good night «... and now that you make me think about it...».

your hands were promptly brought from behind his neck onto your forehead, slightly brushing away the wayward bang that still felt damp from the shower. the warmth of his face was a gentle contrast as you wished to tease aki for it being sweaty - although you were sure that you were no better - when you felt it.

a scar.

«... how?» you startled at the fact that throughout the months of dating - of seeing him as naked as he was right now - he had a scar.

«I think that it happened before my brother was even born» a strange time that got you picturing a child aki, the thought having you somehow feel warmed up in your chest «... I don't remember anything, but my mom always brought this up».

«apparently I was flicking some wooden branch and I did it too hard and was too close and ...» he flicked slightly one strand of hair to emulate the feeling «... almost took my eye out».

«which would be a shame» you joked softly, a giggle erupting from within your chest «you have such pretty eyes».

«I was a dumb child, you can say that» he shot back, growing ever so serious although you couldn't help but mentally paint the image of a smaller aki, a child. a child of yours and his what would even look like?

that was a range of time you couldn't picture, not with aki, though

«... but at least I wasn't clumsy».

«hey!» you smacked slightly his chest, in protest although all too soon you were laughing, unusure at what but you basked in the comfortable sensation «... do you think that... child me and child you... would have liked each other?».

it felt silly to ask, but the unburden of the past through your scars left you nostalgic. what if you had met aki before?

future wasn't promised with him but maybe you could have gotten more time in the past.

except that wasn't possible either.

«how were you as a child?».

«sullen, with too much energy and definitely a troublemaker» or so that had been your mother's description when asked, which you found fitting «how were you, instead?».

«all too serious, with an obvious inferiority superiority complex and distrustful» hhm, you couldn't have been more different. the thought of getting along as children seemed impossible «... but I thought that I'd have liked you, you know?».

«why?» you couldn't feel the same shared interests and matching personalities as of right now as aki adjusted himself beside you again, pushing himself onto an elbow as you promptly mirrored his own position.

and he smiled at you so softly, that your gaze moved from the past of his scar onto the promise of softness on his lips.

«because it'd have been you» he breathed in relief as you found yourself moving closer to him, as close as you could be without sinking your fang into his chest «it's always going to be you».

Guess who just realized that he gave his saw self-insert the fucking stigmata on accident (hint - it's me 😿🤯🤯)

I haven't posted on his blog in a minute, and also haven't mentioned too much about his trap since no one has asked, and I wanna like, reveal things over time

But the first part of his trap involved having a bunch of rings pierced through different parts of his body (think the classroom trap but not rigged and also a lot different logistically, but the "suspended with rings through body" part is the same), and one thing I thought was cool would be if he had 1 through the middle of each hand

But he survived, and obviously, most if not all of the pierced parts scarred, so he has a circular scar in the middle of each hand. Like that one guy 🤯🤯💥

This was not intentional, I'm not gonna change it but like, guys the Jesus parallel was accidental I just thought ring through hand cool 😔😔
