thanks to my head, which thought what if the devils were molting. (if we consider the skin of the cambions, then they have scales)
• you lived in the house of hope for a long time and seemed to know all its features. although, you probably should never say that you know everything about devils.
you returned from the balcony in the archive and did not expect to see an incubus here. Haarlep was sitting with his legs over the armrest and reading a book with an extremely bored look, flipping through the pages with one claw. how could this personification of feline nature leave the cozy bed of the boudoir? And why?
"Oh, Haarlep, why are you here?"
"Hello little mouse! Well, I'm obviously not here of my own free will." he was very inspired by your voice. "Perhaps you will find the answer to this question in my former place of residence." his eyes took on their usual cunning gleam, causing you to distrust.
"And what am I going to find there?..."
"Oh, you haven't seen him in his period yet" he let go of the book and made a gesture of quotation marks "Go, go, I'm impatient to find out how everything will go" he waved his hand towards the doors and you headed the same way.
Along the way, you wondered what could be the reason for Raphael's unexpected mood. Anyway, you haven't done anything wrong, so why should you be afraid of his anger, right?
The boudoir barrier let you through, and from afar you saw Raphael sitting with his back to you and fidgeting erratically. His housecoat was held on his hips by a belt, and his upper body was naked. He diligently moved his wings, even tried to scratch their hard edge against the horns, as well as scratch his shoulders with his hands and tried unsuccessfully to reach the base of the wings.
"maybe I can help?"
You said hesitantly. Raphael didn't even notice how you walked from the entrance to the edge of the bed. He looked at you briefly with displeasure.
"and this is you. go ahead and try it."
He turned back and waited for your actions. you swallowed and hesitantly stroked the base of your wings.
"No mouse, use your claws," Raphael barked back at you.
you started scratching the shoulder blade of the wings with your short nails and it did real magic to him. He let out a sigh of relief and tilted his head back a little. such a reaction was more than enough to make you do it for hours.
• This was just the beginning of Raphael's molt. the symptoms are a bad mood and scabies. while the various stages of his molting were going on, he always lingered on the first one - denial. He hated this time. Raphael was too sensitive and imperfect during this period. Everything should always be perfect in it, both appearance and endurance. But this rare period spoils all his plans.
during the molt, he canceled all his business and did not leave the house of hope. without you, he used to wait it out alone in the boudoir, moving around in short forays from there. it is better not to catch his eye at this moment.
However, with you.... he won't say it, but molting with you has become a pleasant vacation. To you, he grumbles nonstop, like a very big moody child. but your presence changed everything... you scratch his back and wings, smear him with moisturizer, (gently stroke his shiny new scales and admire his beauty? yes, please) sit by the pool while he soaks and only his head sticks out of the water.
you will timidly help him with the removal of dead skin, asking if it hurts him. (imagine how much work his wings need)
• You also became the devil's personal pillow during this period. He just won't let you go a step away from him, with the rare exception when you need to leave the boudoir and bring him something. it's better not to linger chatting with Haarlep, it can cost you dearly.
since his diabolical work was suspended, he switched from contracts to fiction and read it in tandem with you.
He was going into cat mode. Today, practically the archdevil wants to spend the day in bed, and you pathetic little man will be my pillow and a scratcher and bring me a book or soothing tea and I'll eat your soul if you disobey, yes.
• Raphael is horrified to realize that he has been scratching the skin surrounding the horns several times a day. this means that after the back and wings, the skin on the face will be renewed... Oh, how he doesn't like it. the mouse does not stare at him, you are on thin ice and now he will obviously spend more time using you as a pillow so that you cannot stare at him
• it will be strange when this ends and the former strict and perfect Raphael returns to you, and he will never bring up this topic. however, before the next molt, he will send you an order to come to the boudoir and it's good that you already know how to help him.
#raphael x tav#raphael bg3#raphael x reader#moult#It's such a funny thought.#I'll turn Raphael into a cat#but I'll justify it.

Today, House of Gentians is one year old 🥳🎊🎉
You won’t believe the story of how it began….
I was 7 months pregnant, and have been suffering from intense itching in my lower legs for a month. I googled it and saw that it’s a warning sign during pregnancy and can have dangerous consequences so I went to my obgyn and he referred me to take a blood test to check it.
Fortunately it was clear from that problem, but we didn’t know the reason for the itching. He did say that some women suffered from an allergic reaction like this but he suggested that I go to a dermatologist to be sure.
So finding an appointment to a dermatologist in my country right away is a nightmare, and by some miracle I found someone who had a place for me in a few days but in another city. So I took the buss and went there and the doctor was there with a student who was working with him. Anyways he was extremely nice to me and that’s something completely odd with the doctors here, that make you feel as if you’re annoying them. He was really nice, checked me thoroughly, looked at my scratching wounds with a magnifying glass and all the while was talking with great enthusiasm to that student. Later at my second appointment I realized that the reason for this was that he treated me like a case study to show how pro he is to that student cause when he was alone in the second time, he was a complete jerk to me.
Anyways, at that first appointment he decided with great certainty that what causes my itch is scabies. And as someone who considered this possibility and checked for signs of a bug infestation, especially since I have experience with other bugs, this seemed unlikely. And I’m like, telling him of all the reasons that don’t match, like the fact that my husband sleeps in the same bed and he doesn’t suffer from it and for me it’s been an experience of a month now. Surely a thing such as bug bites would affect him too, no? But he was so determined and told me “your husband gonna get it soon probably” so he gave me a prescription for creams and told me to wash all textiles in my house at a high degree, and everything that can’t be washed, to close in plastic bags and leave the house for 3 days. And like I said, as someone who already had experience with another bug infestation this was something that I already knew how to do even if at first it sounds like a pain in the ass.
So I got home, told my husband, who really opposed this idea, but I insisted on it, especially cause if the doctor was right and there IS an infestation, then we have to treat it immediately before baby is due. So I did everything the doctor said, we packed some clean stuff and moved to live with his parents for 3 days. Like I said, later we discovered that the doctor was wrong, because nothing helped and the itching continued till the moment I gave birth, proving my obgyn was right and it was, what’s called “pruritus of pregnancy”, a severe itch that is not dangerous, but can appear in some cases. I still carry those itching scars on my legs btw, even though they’re faint now 🤣🤣
Anyways what the hell does this embarrassing story have to do with House of Gentians? It was on the first day we lived with his parents and I was working on the exclusive art I make for my patrons. I was in the coloring and rendering stage and it’s really a work that makes you be really focused on details and etc… I was already so tired, but when evening came and I was done with the piece, which is still one of my favs btw:
I still wanted to draw, something quick and sketchy to “free my hand”. I just opened a new canvas and started sketching. At first I wanted to draw yllz seducing lwj, as if he was taken to cr after all and things got hot 👀🔥 But then I changed his teasing, smug expression to a sad one, and decided that it’s gonna be a Yiling Laozu who came back to Gusu with lwj and was put in LWJ’s mother’s house as his waifu 👀👀👀 and this idea had a dark side at first, with my horny mind thinking of yllz performing the duties of a spouse with lwj 👀👀👀👀 and it’s gonna be love/hate between them both.
I was really hurrying this sketch too, because my husband was calling me to our evening quality time of having toasts while watching a series on Netflix so I posted it quickly on Twitter and left. When I opened the app again that night I was really surprised to see all the excited comments on this simple sketch I did, but they really inspired me to go on, just like your comments inspire me till this very day ❤️
And just look at it now, each week I’m working on more 4 pages, it turned to be the longest comic I did in my entire 25 years of drawing (160 pages till this day and counting) and I already have the entire plot written with like 9-10 arcs planned overall 🤣 Drawing this consistently also helped improve my art, as I look at the first drawings compared to the most recent ones I can see the progress I made and hope to continue making!
So thank you all for the love and support and the wonderful comments that inspire me to give you more parts each week!
And as a b-day gift, I give you a sneak peek to a panel from page 110 that I kinda like how it turned out

Scabies is dragging Princess Catherine because he thinks it'll get William's attention. He has been doing this for years, performing all kinds of monkey tricks just to get a reaction from William. It's almost like he and Rachel are 1 same soul in 2 different bodies.

Hdhdhdh there’s other people in kazuhas priv?? Djdjjd i wanna know their reactions to her tweets
kazuha has friends too !! 😭 in my head, she's got sakura, chaewon and eunchae on her side, but they don't appear cause they really wouldn't be relevant to the plot.
they're her best friends, and are probably kind of psycho too (except kkura, she's normal, but lazy to do something. like winter from the other side), so i imagine they're used to kazuha acting crazy, and even help her sometimes.
for example, in earlier chapters, when karina's friends were defending her on twitter of the scabies allegations, kazuha's friends were also actively tweeting and siding up w zuha.

More in the sensory processing TMI adventure
I barely slept at all during the night because of the rash. It’s itching. So much. I had to take a benzo to catch any hours at all. Just now I finally caved and called for medical advice. They told me it sounds most like an allergic reaction and that I could try calling another service that can also look at my medical file, but that it is also fine to wait a bit and see how it progresses. They recommended cooling gel. I’m quite relieved, because a while back one of my roommates got scabies and I do not want to deal with that. That’s a big Nope. They said it sounds unlikely to be scabies based on my symptoms, so that’s a big plus. Secretely I think it might just be my body responding like it does - just ramp up any physical thing it can “think” of, to sort of express the emotional turmoil. “This is how stressed we are!!!” and then express that literally across my entire body. The endo pain wasn’t effective in stopping me, the IBS doesn’t, and the migraine also didn’t... and... I’ve also been working this week with the cold. So now maybe it wants to test out itchy rashes? I know this way of thinking is kind of irrational. I don’t know how to not-function. I am sorry for the poor body that is faced with that.

Do you have a favourite classic novel?
Here is where I feel guilty about all the classics I haven't read. The one that immediately comes to mind is Nineteen Eighty-Four. I consider it one of the most terrifying books I've ever read - mostly due to the scenes between Winston and O'Brien. The "boot stamping on a human face forever," the part where Winston feels as if O'Brien's mind contains his mind and there is nothing he can think or do that has not been anticipated, Room 101 and the endgame being the breaking of the spirit and the betrayal of the other. Eugh. I haven't read that book in years and it still makes me shudder just thinking about it.
Do you prefer baking or cooking?
Cooking! Baking is a pain in the ass. I love baked goods, but the number of times I have had to deal with bullshit from my bread dough because of the temperature this and the humidity that and the age of the yeast this and that and the other thing. I've had so many meltdowns about baking. When it comes to cooking, I love being able to improvise and try things out.
My newest favorite thing to cook is a quick recipe for lemongrass tofu I figured out. It's hard to find lemongrass at non-specialty stores, plus it's usually expensive and there's no way in hell I will be able to use all of it. So I found this lemongrass powder spice at a Vietnamese grocery store. I cut the tofu into thin slabs and brush both sides with a mixture of peanut oil, lemongrass powder, and five spice powder. Then air fry on both sides until crispy. Serve with rice or rice vermicelli + veggies and mix it all together with hoisin sauce and a sprinkle of fish sauce.
Restaurant prices have gone way up lately where I live (and I believe this is the case everywhere) and I'm not really willing to pay $15 for a meal that used to cost $8 except on occasion. So I've been learning to make a lot of things myself that I used to get from takeout.
Do you prefer forests, sea shores, or meadows?
This is a tough one because I love both forests - particularly the coniferous forests of the Pacific northwest - and sea shores. I think I would have to say sea shores. I grew up near the ocean and it has always been a part of me. I hate being too far away from it for too long. I also have an elemental identification with water.
Also, a big strike against forests for me is bugs. Not bugs in general because I like bugs and think they are super cool. But bugs that BITE. Mosquitos, horseflies, gnats, and so on. These bugs seem to find me a particularly tasty morsel and I get bitten five times as much as most people. On top of that, I have strong allergic reactions to mosquito bites and some of them will swell up to a point that painfully limits circulation in my limbs. Every time I dare to enter a forest, I get bites of some kind. Even in the dry climate of southern California, my arms and legs get so covered with gnat bites in the summer that it looks like I have scabies. I see swarms of gnats on the beach and around the lagoons from time to time, but these beach bum gnats have never shown the same interest in biting me as their dickhead woodland cousins.
My ideal would be a place that has conifer forest right up against the coastline, e.g. Big Sur.

Unbearable Itching? Beware of Scabies!
Have you ever experienced intense itching, especially at night? You may have scabies. Scabies is a skin disease caused by tiny mites that burrow and lay eggs in the skin. In addition to itching, other symptoms that often appear are red rashes, small bumps, and scaly skin.
Why is the itching so bad? These mites release substances that cause an allergic reaction on the skin, causing an unbearable itch.
How is it transmitted? Scabies is highly contagious through direct skin contact with an infected person, sharing clothing or bed linen, or even through sexual contact.
If you experience the above symptoms, immediately consult a doctor to get the right diagnosis and treatment.

Scabies in Cats: Causes of Itching, Crusty Skin, and Hair Loss Explained
Scabies, also known as feline mange, is a distressing skin condition in cats caused by microscopic mites. This highly contagious disease leads to intense itching, crusty skin, and hair loss, making it crucial for cat owners to recognize and address it promptly. Understanding the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for scabies can help ensure the well-being of your feline friend.
What Is Scabies in Cats?
Scabies in cats is primarily caused by a type of mite called Sarcoptes scabiei. These mites burrow into the cat’s skin to lay eggs, which triggers a severe allergic reaction. The presence of these mites results in symptoms like itching, irritation, and inflammation. While any cat can contract scabies, those with weakened immune systems, young kittens, or cats living in crowded conditions are more susceptible.
Symptoms of Scabies in Cats
Early recognition of scabies symptoms is key to preventing the disease from spreading and ensuring effective treatment. Common signs include:
Intense Itching: Cats with scabies experience extreme itching, leading to persistent scratching.
Crusty Skin: Affected areas, particularly around the ears, face, neck, and legs, may develop a scaly or crusty texture.
Hair Loss: Mites damage hair follicles, causing patchy hair loss, especially in the infected regions.
Redness and Inflammation: The skin becomes inflamed due to the mites burrowing, resulting in redness and swelling.
Restlessness: The constant discomfort may make the cat irritable and restless.
Scabbing or Open Sores: Excessive scratching can result in open sores or scabs, worsening the condition if left untreated.
Causes of Scabies in Cats
Scabies is caused by Sarcoptes scabiei mites, which can be transmitted in several ways:
Direct Contact with Infected Animals: Cats can contract scabies through direct contact with an infected animal. This is common in multi-pet households or among outdoor cats that interact with strays.
Contaminated Environments: Mites can survive in the environment for a short period, so cats can pick them up from bedding, toys, or other objects contaminated by an infected animal.
Weakened Immune System: Cats with compromised immune systems are more susceptible because their bodies are less capable of fighting off the infestation.
Diagnosing Scabies in Cats
If your cat shows symptoms of scabies, it’s crucial to consult a veterinarian. Diagnosis typically involves a physical examination and skin scrapings. The veterinarian will collect a sample from the affected area and examine it under a microscope to confirm the presence of mites.
Treatment Options for Scabies in Cats
Scabies is treatable, and early intervention is vital to prevent complications. Common treatment options include:
Medications: Vets often prescribe anti-parasitic medications like ivermectin or selamectin to kill the mites. Topical treatments, such as medicated shampoos, creams, or dips, can also effectively eradicate mites.
Antibiotics: If secondary bacterial infections have developed due to open sores or scratching, antibiotics may be necessary.
Supportive Care: Anti-inflammatory medications can help reduce itching and promote healing, offering relief to the affected cat.
Isolation: Because scabies is highly contagious, isolating the infected cat from other pets is essential to prevent the spread of mites.
Can Humans Get Scabies from Cats?
The mites that cause scabies in cats are species-specific, meaning they prefer feline hosts. However, humans can experience temporary itching if they come into direct contact with an infected cat. Fortunately, the mites typically do not survive long on human skin.
Preventing Scabies in Cats
Preventive measures can significantly reduce the risk of scabies:
Regular Vet Checkups: Routine veterinary visits can help identify potential health issues, including scabies, before they become severe.
Maintain Clean Living Spaces: Regularly cleaning your cat’s bedding, toys, and grooming tools can help eliminate the risk of mite transmission.
Limit Outdoor Exposure: Keeping your cat indoors or limiting interactions with stray or unfamiliar animals can reduce the risk of infestation.
Use Preventive Medications: Some flea control treatments also offer protection against mite infestations.
Conclusion
Scabies in cats is an uncomfortable but treatable condition. By recognizing the symptoms — such as itching, crusty skin, and hair loss — and seeking veterinary care early, you can ensure your cat receives the necessary treatment. Regular checkups, good hygiene, and preventive care are crucial to keeping your cat healthy and scabies-free. If you suspect your cat may have scabies, consult a veterinarian promptly for expert care and guidance.

Detecting Scabies: Essential Signs and What to Do
An infestation of Sarcoptes scabiei causes itchiness and a pimple-like rash of scabies. Scabies are caused by the mite that burrows in the upper layer of the skin, where it lays its eggs and lives. Early recognition of the symptoms can help to prevent the spread of scabies, relieve discomfort, and reduce the risk. Online scabies treatments have made this condition easier to manage than ever. You need to understand scabies symptoms and how to get online treatment.
Recognizing the Signs of Scabies
Itching
Scabies is characterized by severe itching, which worsens at night. This itching is caused by the immune system's reaction to mites or their eggs. Scabies can be detected by an increase in the intensity of itching, particularly at night or evening.
Bumps and Skin Rash
Infestations of scabies can cause a rash that looks like a pimple. They can appear anywhere on the skin, in a random pattern, or as a line. They are most common between the fingers or elbows, wrists, buttocks, and waist.
Burrow Tracks
You may also see tiny, threadlike burrows on the skin's surface. The mites tunnel into the skin and create these paths. They may appear as fine, dark, or silvery lines.
Secondary Infections
The skin can become damaged and susceptible to secondary infection due to excessive scratching. It's important to get medical help if you notice any signs of infection, such as swelling, redness, or pus.
Seeking Scabies Treatment Online
Telemedicine has made it easier to access healthcare services such as scabies treatment. You can get scabies prescriptions and treatment online.
Online Healthcare Platforms
Online healthcare platforms that are reputable offer licensed healthcare providers for consultations. They can diagnose your condition using the symptoms that you describe and possibly supported by pictures.
Scabies Treatment Online
A healthcare provider may offer prescription creams or oral medications once scabies are diagnosed. Topical creams containing permethrin and ivermectin are the most common form of treatment.
Scabies Prescription Online
You can easily obtain your medications without leaving your home by sending your prescriptions directly to the pharmacy of your choosing or your local one.
Care and Follow-up
Online healthcare services offer follow-up consultations to monitor side effects and ensure effective treatment. The ongoing care required for a full recovery is essential.
Conclusion:
Early recognition of scabies and prompt treatment will help to reduce discomfort and stop the spread of infestation. The convenience of online scabies treatments, such as getting a prescription for scabies, has made it easier to manage this condition. Do not hesitate to consult an online doctor if you suspect that you or someone you love may have scabies.

The Mystery of Itchy Pubic Hair: Nighttime Woes Unveiled
The Mystery of Itchy Pubic Hair: Nighttime Woes Unveiled Itchy pubic hair can be a source of discomfort and embarrassment. It can make it difficult to sleep at night and lead to irritation and inflammation. Many people are too shy to seek medical help, but this issue is more common than we think. In this article, we will delve into the reasons why pubic hair can become itchy, how to treat it, and when to seek medical attention. What Causes Itchy Pubic Hair? There are several reasons why pubic hair can become itchy, including: - Pubic lice or scabies: These are tiny insects that feed on human blood and can cause intense itching. They are easily transmitted through sexual contact. - Fungal infections: These are caused by yeast or other fungi and can occur anywhere on the body, including the pubic area.
