So thinking about Cyrus waiting to see their wife grow with their child and mc just doesn't change much. And C being like are we sure you're pregnant my flame should we call a doctor just to be extra sure that everything is alright?

He’d be able to tell — either because he’d notice a shift or simply due to the fact that Elena would mention something (being the ever observant woman that she is).

Or Apollo, his bird not his little brother, would begin to act strangely which might key him in that something is happening — as animals are also fairly intuitive; especially ones with the level of intelligence that some supernatural species possess.

Okay! Let's talk about how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Elena Wallace is in this movie! I've talked about Noah & Mirage quite a bit, but I absolutely CANNOT forget about our queen Elena! I barely see any posts for her and it's CRIMINAL!!!!!!!! Let me go fix that real quick!

There is no order. This is just a spontaneous list of all the reasons why I love Elena. 😊

I like that she's not just some side character. No, SHE CAME IN WITH THE KNOWLEDGE! She knew her shit and she was very resourceful! She knew info that even the Autobots didn't know!!!

I like how inquisitive she is. She saw a new artifact come in at work and she was immediately drawn to it and wanted to learn more about it. She did her own research on her OWN TIME on the markings engraved on the artifact/transwarp key, and I love that! Her boss really had the audacity to take credit for her work and ignored her when she wanted to be apart of the team that would be working on unlocking the history behind the artifact/transwarp key. But nah, she still found a way to learn more about it. You go girl!

Literal hand writing! I love love LOVE how quick she was to record information! The way she quickly started writing down markings on her hand in pen when the door to the lab technician room slammed in her face. Yes! You write those markings, girl! We ain't done! Or when her and Noah were in the underground ancient temple in Peru and she was writing down markings on her hand again. Yes!

I like that Elena took it upon herself to protect the transwarp key with her life. She didn't even understand its significance yet, but she was already ready to protect it when she first met Noah. She wasn't even scared at all, she really decked him HARD in the face to protect it! Like damnnn! 🤣 And the little rapid side step fake out thing she did with him was absolutely HILARIOUS! I can't! 🤣🤣

I love that Elena isn't a harmful stereotype and wasn't thrown into some harmful trope. No, she got to exist and be unapologetically black while still being such a likable character. Representation is SO important and it's nice to see black characters shine in sci-fi media and be apart of the adventure. Growing up, I've always dreamed of seeing characters like Elena take on main roles in a sci-fi show/movie, and in a Transformers show/movie and get to be friends with the robots. I'm so glad that characters like Elena exists. What a time to be alive! 🥺

Elena's love for history and artifacts was a nice touch. She's an artifacts researcher/history nerd and I am so here for it! And that little dinosaur sticker on her car! Cute! 🥰 I like that she was essentially the team's well of knowledge, in the sense that she immediately knew where the location for the second half of the transwarp key is, and she knew what the second half of the code is when Primal thought it died with Airazor. She really said, "I got this!" and it was go time! She had her little notebook of info at the ready and seeing all the notes, sketches and markings that she jotted down was cool.

NAVIGATING THROUGH HIGHLY ADVANCED ALIEN TECHNOLOGY LIKE A BOSS!!! Like excuse me, what??! Elena was able to figure out how to use the control panel during the final battle with ease. My anxiety could never! She navigated through a control panel that had so many different alien symbols to flip through AND it was a multi functioning panel that had a lot going on. But that did not stop her, nope, nope, nope! She got down to business, figured it out quick and entered the codes!!! 👏🏾

I like how connected Elena is to Airazor. From the moment she first laid eyes on the new artifact in the museum that resembled Airazor, to the moment she first laid eyes on Airazor, is just beautiful. She was mesmerized by her and it really showed! And their interactions throughout the movie is just **chef's kiss** 🤌🏾 Especially the scenes when Elena was concerned for Airazor's health after Scourge left his "mark" on her wing that inevitably led to her demise. You could feel how much Airazor's death affected Elena. 😔 FUCK YOU, SCOURGE!!!! Andddd hearing that there was supposed to be a scene in the movie where Elena jokingly says to Airazor, "I bet you make bots turn their necks when you fly by.", only for Airazor to respond with, "I did know to shake a tail feather or two." AHHHHHHHHH!!!! WE WERE ROBBED!!! 😡😡😡😡

Elena coming on the mission, despite looking very fearful at first is very admirable. She probably knew in her heart that she was destined to be apart of the mission, and she wanted to help save two worlds. Absolutely amazing! And the scene when she talks about her father and how fond she is of him is beautiful. "If you keep your eyes and ears open, life will show you everything you need to know." I love that line so much! 👏🏾

I like that Elena isn't an overly sexualized love interest for Noah, or assigned to him because he has a massive crush on her, like how Mikaela was with Sam in the 2007 Transformers movie. I know some people ship these 2 hard and I don't mind one bit (Noah/Elena shippers, do your thang! ✌🏾), but it was just nice to see a female character not be thrown into the love interest role for the main human character in a Transformers movie.

Elena became very close to Noah because they were the only humans on the Stop Unicron Team and they were actively working together to stop Unicron from destroying their home planet. But their relationship throughout the movie was giving me very strong sibling vibes.

We already know that Noah is a family man and his relationship with his little brother Kris is so wholesome! He loves his little bro so much! 🥺🥺 So seeing Noah be so protective of Elena throughout the movie was giving me that same sibling energy and it was really wholesome to watch!!! The way he would quickly grab her and step in front of her to protect her from danger, or the way he helped her down that dangerous ass entrance to the ancient underground temple, or gently drag her away to safety, or blast at anything that even attempted to attack her, or warn her about imminent danger, or how he made sure she was okay after a corrupted Airazor attacked her, and how he gently pushed her curls to the side, etc. Just ahhhhh! Their interactions were so GECICWHCICCEJCJ!!!! 😍

However...if you want to talk about Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback's interactions during their interviews together, then yeah, they're cute af!!!! 👀 Anthony was continuing to channel his inner Noah and was still holding onto those protective tendencies with Dominique, and I just found that absolutely adorable. 🥺

A happy, happy, SUPER HAPPY ENDING FOR ELENA!!! I really like that Elena FINALLY got recognition for her work at the end of the movie. I was so happy when I saw that ending scene! 😭

Okay! I think I covered everything I wanted to say about Elena and how she is an absolute queen, and how she is making my inner girl smile from ear to ear. If you read everything I just said, you are awesome! Thank you! 😘

Oh no I meant the fling, they are "together" in the beginning of the first book but it was nothing substantial I think Stefan did it because he was avoiding Elena. The biggest thing with the books for me is that Elena looks and acts like Caroline in the books, she's blonde with blue eyes and has a "Queen Bee" attitude about her very much like Caroline. Also like Caroline in the show she grows into herself more when she turns into a vampire and actually sacrifices herself to kill Katherine and she wanted Damon and Stefan to forgive each other and be brothers again.

lizzie is somewhat canon compliant through the end of legacies season 4, save for the gods arc. the most notable difference is that lizzie has a much more complicated and estranged relationship with alaric.

this change comes after lizzie reaches something of a breaking point sometime after their time in the prison world and josie going dark - forcing lizzie to merge, and declares she wants nothing to do with her father due to a variety of reasons. she becomes very insistent on being called forbes, and avoids him when possible.

later, this greatly haunts lizzie when alaric becomes hurt by a newly transitioned hope and falls into a coma. unable to cope with the guilt she feels for having cut him off prior, overcome with loneliness, and the heartbreak and betrayal she feels forwards hope, lizzie sets out to get revenge.

in her vow to get back at her former friend, lizzie joins forces with aurora de martel who is working with triad and seeking to take the tribrid down. over time, the two form a complicated but deep bond, with lizzie and aurora seeing a lot of themselves in one another.

during this time, lizzie faces off against hope, ending in the latter snapping lizzie's neck, effectively killing her after being egged on. unbeknownst to hope at the time, lizzie had ingested vampire blood from the school's emergency stash prior and transitioned. unbeknownst to both of them, this blood belonged to hope, resulting in lizzie being sired to the tribrid.

this bond eventually shatters when overcome with the sudden life shift, grief, and having witnessed alaric's eventual recovers, lizzie decides to change paths. she returns to the school and rejoins her friends, where she pledges her loyalty to them in going up against triad. of which they eventually succeed.

in the years following, lizzie attempts to grow more accustomed to her new status as a heretic, along with bettering her mental health. she ultimately patches things up with hope, josie, and alaric, although the latter continue to stay somewhat estranged despite the distance between them that had seemed to help after caroline returned to take over the school as headmistress.

now that she's in the past, lizzie finds it even harder than usual to let things go. struggling to adapt to this "new" life in order to prepare for what's to come, especially when it comes to knowing the outcome which certain actions have, and meeting people she has only ever heard of in stories.

This is thefirst time I really stop to think of Eleanor this way and… huh. I think she’s aVimes, which is not exactly what I would’ve expected xD (I guess it makessense, because a few Eleanor/Tony parallels had already ~pinged my radar lol).

There’s asimilar tired cynicism, just walking ahead in life with this sense ofnothing-really-matters, despite clearly being dissatisfied about it on somelevel (Vimes is a lot more self-aware than Eleanor, for one). Both have a “wakeup call” later in life when it’s (almost) too late, and after that you get tosee them taking charge, indignant about the faults of the system, etc. I evensee parallels between the Eleanor-Michael and Vimes-Vetinari dynamics (thisunofficial “mentor”, and how they transform each other’s worldviews).

The obviousone is Caroline, duh, and ofc there’s plenty of Caroline in her lol. But Ithink I see some Lana too? It’s not as obvious, it’s not really about anything she’ssaid or done just… a vibe. Maybe it’s just the actress, idk. I haven’t put myfinger on it, I’ll tell you if/when I do :P

It’s been a long timesince I watched these shows lol). Clark/Lana and Allison/Scott have a lot incommon too, imo. That Magic & destructive power of that first, True Love.Allison’s and Lana’s fears about being “weak”, the pressure they felt to bePerfect™. My bby girls.

If therewas ever a cautionary tale for how bad things could’ve gone for Caroline… I knowthis is an extremely controversial opinion, but I don’t think people realizedhow terrible SC would’ve ended for her, if it wasn’t for Klaus appearing andtransforming how the writers felt about SE. But Caroline stuck with a guy sheused to hero-worship but that was still obsessed with his past love, who hecouldn’t have for some reason, and in turn mistreated her? INCREDIBLE LIKELY,imo (Mellie Grant is another example for this, like I’ve told you).

ETA: after a conversation in the tags, I want to say it here (so it can be read by everyone), that Rhaegar=Stefan and Robert=Matt is a perfect parallel too xDD

Butbasically, yeah. The “dreams” they had when it came to men & how they wereshattered, the mean streak present in both from early on, the ambition andhunger. How they grasped power (vampirism for Caroline) and didn’t let go.Their approach to soft vs. hard power strikes me as similar too.

Echo kom Azgeda

I do see bothCaroline and Jason in her. From Caroline, her quick thinking, the leaps oflogic they make (T100’s s6 main plot is basically Katherine-in-Elena’sbody-snatch situation lol, and Echo figured out in two seconds flat once shestumbled into the first inconsistence –which I predicted. I literally said “Echo had to be absent from this episode because she would’ve figured out in two seconds flat”, and what do you, next episode she does just that xD–, just like Caroline did. It reminded meof how Caroline figured out the DE sire-bond too). Their willingness to carryout Tough Choices, how they cling to a notion of Their People.

BTW,recently there was an Echo Appreciation Week, and while I was making thosegifsets I noticed Echo sorta reminds me of Lizzie LMFAO. Something about the actresses’ expressions, body language etc. Plus there’s this AMAZING scene whereEcho just walks up to a guy and stabs him in the stomach with a sword, saying “Hesitationis death”, and while editing it I kept remember when Lizzie just walked up andstabbed Landon without a second thought xD. As a bonus? Landon’s body died, buthe could come back because he’s a Phoenix. The dude Echo stabbed is abody-snatcher, so while that body died, his chip could be put on someone else (also,Echo used said cheap as leverage against his mother. She makes me proud

With Jasonthere’s how they were made to take someone else’s name/mantel as children, howshe made that Her Identity, how her leader let her down & banished her whenhe thought she’d gone “too far”. How she keeps reinventing herself. The arc isout of order, but the emotional beats are so there. I guess Queen Nia could beher Talia too, thankfully without the sex xDD. And the way the conflict betweenher and Raven in s5 (aka Echo wanting to kill a dude Raven was getting investedon for valid strategic reasons xD) is not dissimilar to Dick and Jason’s dynamic imo(Echo at least is not alone being the Morally Dubious One Pushing For Murder AsA Solution in her new family! Murphy reminds me a lot of Jason too. So doesEmori. LOL).

I went into the delena tag, they really get very little hate from steleners while steroliners have to deal with all the hate. Steleners should hate delena more considering the only reason stelena broke up was because of Damon. What do you think about Steleners and their constant hating on steroline?

um i think the se fandom kinda has a right to be pissed bc of the way their ship got fucked over for an abusive one (de) but the thing is the moment they shit on steroline/stan klaro they lose literally any credibility, and i hate them and their fake activism or concern for literally anyone other than elena gilbert lol so this is gonna be very long and isn’t gonna be very nice.

like yeah se was cute in s1-3 but guess what? de was always going to be explored. tvd was marketed as a love triangle from day 1. and they all turned blind eyes to the unhealthy shit in se (im not saying it was abusive because it wasn’t, but on rewatching at the age of 17 i noticed things that left me speechless like it was so fucking unhealthy and you could see how it was built to fall apart. there’s some Amazing metas in my anti tag check them out) and they were so blinded by the fact that their ship was Canon they ignored all of the warning signs and were left shook when stelena came crashing down

the se fandom is a bunch of hypocrites who are just so… transparent. like with de, they could claim vamp elena is a whole different person or that the whole de relationship was a product of the sire bond or that their ship was retconned out of existence and it could still /kinda/ make sense. but when stefan fell for caroline they lost it bc there was nothing they could say against it. it was 100% genuine and healthy and natural and just 2 best friends realising after years of friendship that oh shit we’re in love and want to be together for eternity. they spend all their energy hating on it because it’s such a threat and they can’t excuse it to make themselves feel better like they did with de (i mean they try. they claim stefan doesn’t actually love her bc his feelings are the product of a guilt trip. they claim stefan told elena “i have loved you forever” in the finale which is so sad i can’t even mock them whole heartedly. they say he’ll never love caroline as much, completely ignoring canon in which he loves her more and it’s lasting and healthy love. like the boy called what he had w elena messed up and what he had with caroline better than true love but they were just like i_cant_read.gif)

honestly i just can’t stand them. bc they dedicate all their energy to shitting on the healthiest vampire ship in the universe instead of delena because they’re all elena stans at the end of the day and with delena, elena’s place as the #1 character everyone adores is intact. that’s why they were still super confident in s4 and 5 when de was canon bc as long as stefan was single and seemingly pining for queen E they were okay. but the minute a healthy and beautiful ship for stefan came in that included the one female character elena has always treated like absolute shit to prop herself up, they were livid (bc most of them hate caroline lol). the way they hate on sc, one would deadass think steroline is what broke stelena up instead of delena. but that isnt what happened. elena realised she loved damon the whole time and her vampire self no longer loved stefan, stefan was sad for months and then moved on, klaus broke forwood up, caroline and stefan who were already best friends grew even closer and then realised they were in love. thats what happened and none of them are ready to admit it.

like don’t get me wrong, they hate de but not even close to how much they hate steroline. and there’s a problem with that because de is the second most abusive ship in the tvd universe. like damon physically hurt her multiple times, killed her brother when she rejected him, tried to force himself on her, they had sex while she couldn’t consent, he kidnapped her brother when they broke up, pursued her while she was with his brother and told him she doesn’t want him, he’s taken away her choice many times, etc etc. 

but somehow the biggest enemy here is steroline, sure. 

hint: it’s bc unlike de, sc is legitimate love and therefore a threat they can’t negate with any logic (so they turn to calling it incest or forced or any other desperate argument)

and the biggest example of their fake wokeness is literally all of them are klaro shippers. literally all. told you they hate caroline. ive seen maybe 5 that are forwoods. (i love forwood as im sure you know. i multiship but those ships don’t include either de or se because they’re all a Mess.) the thing is, forwood and stelena are parallel ships and not enough people talk about it. they’re both 2 different species that fight to be together and they were both ripped apart by an evil man the woman kept turning down. so they absolutely hate damon for pulling that shit and stalking and abusing and pursuing elena who told him she’s not interested (as they should, bc that’s a fucked up thing to do. and no, de fans, the fact that we later find out she did love him was irrelevant because she TOLD him she wasn’t interested and he didn’t respect that for a second). imagine my surprise when literally all of them turn around and ship klaroline which was built on the EXACT SAME THING. klaus assaulting caroline and abusing her and harming her loved ones and stalking her despite her telling him to fuck off because she loves tyler. no, in that case it’s romantic and hot af. that’s what i meant by hypocrites. because they want everyone to be in love with elena, no matter how much it harms stefan. and they love klaus for doing to a woman exactly what damon did to elena, no matter how much it harms caroline.

but at the end of the day i just ignore them bc theyre such a joke. their ship was baited in s4 and 5 only to have elena go to damon and the doppelganger spell broken and stefan to fall for caroline. in s8 the ripper tried to straight-up murder elena. in the finale stefan hugged elena with tears in his eyes in the hallway they first bumped into each other and told her tell caroline i will love her forever. like he didnt even tell her he loved her as a friend or anything. they have nothing but their bitterness left. thats why theyve all migrated to the kc fandom. and let them, bc no matter how the originals turns out, caroline canonically intends to find peace one day and see stefan again. like its canon steroline will be together again, theyre married and will love each other forever and are eternal endgame. if you noticed, decades later in the afterlife stefan was wearing his wedding ring. he’s waiting for caroline to come home to him, and one day she’ll be ready. thats how tvd ended ended: elena with damon and her family, damon with stefan and elena, stefan with damon and lexi and waiting for caroline.

This episode was SO jokes {TVD 8x15 Review}

Hi all! You know the deal. I write my thoughts in real time so anything I saw at the beginning that might be a mistake may be corrected by the end. This review will have anti-Damon, anti-Delena, anti-Steroline, anti-Bamon, anti-Bonenzo sentiments and will most likely have references to other shows and to the misogynoir, anti-blackness and racism in the narrative. If you do not like it, you do not have to read this. Are you ready? OK! Let's go. 1. So I'm stopping a very promising Kdrama to watch this. The Kdrama is called Mirror of the Witch, I'm on the first episode and already there are more consequences in this drama than all eight seasons of TVD. So far it looks exceptionally dark and mean-spirited, I think it might actually disturb me. Anyway. It's still entirely ridiculous that Cade's last words are “Go to hell.” Like why? Also why would Stefan say, “You first”? Wasn't Cade already in hell? Like didn't he sort of create it? And now he's just ... dead? What was that dialogue? 2. I like how opening the door to Cade's world will only destroy everything for “miles”, like that's such a small scale, shouldn't it be the end of the world if the devil is walking among us? Or is he not the devil, is Katherine the devil? I'm confused about the Hell hierarchy, you see. 3. Also I should mention I have a cold and I took cough syrup and it SAYS non-drowsy but last night I was knocked the fuck out so if I get a little loopy near the end, it could be that. Or it could be that watching TVD has finally addled my brain. Who knows. 4. They really do hype Katherine way too much. 5. Sorry, pausing because my cat is being extremely affectionate and I would rather play with her for a little than watch what trash this episode is going to be. 6. But now she's on my keyboard. It's like she's trying to spare me. 7. The lighting in this episode seems to be darker than normal, I can barely see anything. 8. I think it's funny that Caroline keeps waking up expecting to see Stefan and he's not there. 9. Matt's hair is SO stupid though. LIKE WHY. 10. I have it paused because the video is loading still but like seriously, he looks thoroughly unattractive like this and out of character I think Zach is pretty cute, so like ugh, why am I subjected to this. 11. Why do we care about Matt's dad again? 12. Or his mother for that matter. 13. Like remember when she came to town and then made out with Damon and then they discovered Vicki was dead and she made out with Tyler? Or was Tyler first and then Damon? Either way, she's messy af. The only interesting dynamic was her and Caroline and Elena. She's pointless. 14. “That was a lifetime ago, things have changed since then” that should just replace the title of TVD. “Didn't Damon kill your sister?” “That was a long time ago.” “Didn't Damon kill your brother” “That was a long time ago.” And now apparently abandoning your family because of man pain and cowardice and immaturity is “a lifetime ago” too but oh no, Stefan was a ripper a literal century ago and we need to harp on it forever. 15. Real talk, I already feel kinda woozy but it's fine it's like being buzzed and it's probably the only way I will get through this episode. 16. Why would Dorian agreeing to help them on how to get rid of the “Queen of Hell” be misconstrued as him being “cool” with Stefan though? Isn't getting rid of someone who is supposed to be the devil Plus be in everyone's best interest? Like whatever, it was just another chance to take a shot at Stefan. Transparent as fuck. 17. That red looks nice on Kat. 18. I like how Katherine is in this world, everything is supposed to be going to shit and Matt isn't like “Mom, Dad, I hate you but you need to leave town because you could possibly die” he's just like yeah fam, I'm rescheduling our awkward dinner date. Like lol. It would be more interesting if he didn't give a shit if they died but this is just the writers being the writers. In Buffy, when the Mayor is supposed to devour all of Sunnydale, Buffy forces her mother to leave town and tells her if she doesn't her presence will get her [Buffy] killed. 19. I love Stefan's face when Damon says “she's obsessed with Stefan” like BITCH WHO TOLD YOU TO TALK? 20. Why does it have to be a wedding though? It could just as easily be an engagement party or a rehearsal dinner, like sooooooooooo forced. 21. I mean, I don't blame Bonnie for hating Stefan but Damon was responsible for killing Jeremy and kidnapping Jeremy, Enzo was responsible for suffocating Jeremy and she's cool with both of them, hell she fell in love with one of them so I'm just like girl, I guess. The writers are ridiculous because it just feels like they don't know the web they've created with these characters and understand that they've turned pretty much everyone into a hyprocrite. 22. And as a non-Beremy shipper, I still think Bonnie loved Jeremy more than Enzo and Beremy was a problematic af ship but at least some things were halfway earned, Bonenzo is pure dialogue, fam. 23. Oh and looks. 24. I don't even know why Damon needs to tell Stefan that what happened to Enzo will haunt him like Stefan isn't new to guilt. Why are they making it seem like this is Stefan's first rodeo? 25. My video keeps fucking buffering. I might switch sites because I love myself too much to drag this out longer than I have to. Because I am only eight minutes in, that's not gonna fly. 26. OK so everything is just buffering. I was supposed to have my data back, what is this. 27. Right now I have it paused on Damon. Lol yes use the SE necklace that Damon kept taking to give it to Caroline on her wedding day for Stefan because we're ignoring how important that necklace was to SE, sure. 36. Seriously, Caroline looks at Alaric with more love than she does Stefan. Like just marry him, y'all are more compatible and have more chemistry than you and Stefan anyway. Like omg. 37. “I hope I get to see this one day with you and Elena” lol the FLATTEST delivery ever. Like do you even mean it? Do you REALLY? Think hard, Stefan. 38. “I want to be a part of your happiness” I mean I guess. I don't like Bonnie being arbitrary in her blame for Stefan but like can the girl be selfish and feel what she feels when she feels it for once? And indulge? Like?? 39. I also find it interesting that Stefan and Caroline don't have a private moment before the wedding, like I know this isn't how we wanted to do this blah blah blah. They're so segregated even when they're together. 40. Do the writers not know of any alcohol other than bourbon? 41. The slow mo doesn't change the deadened expression on Paul's face, guys. Sorry. 42. Also Alaric's speech is stupid, who becomes “family” with the people who have continuously terrorized your life and are responsible for the people you've lost? Like that's when you see a psychiatrist because you have serious emotional issues. 43. “You saw light in me when all I saw was darkness.” WHEN WAS THIS? NO LEGIT WHEN? I REALLY WANT TO KNOW. Madly in love, you don't even look madly in love, you look SO chill. OMG. 44. LOL bout you've been ready since you saw him at school. You were on his jock for one episode, then you onto Damon and were unfortunate enough to be his victim, then it was Matt, then it was Tyler, then it was Klaus, then it was Tyler then it was Jesse then it was Klaus then it was Stefan. Girl bye. 45. That SC dance looks SO AWKWARD. LOL SLOW MO DOESN'T MAKE SHIT BETTER UNLESS IT'S ALREADY GOOD 46. Of course Matt's dad isn't dead. WHAT CRITERIA IS THERE? Like if I run a stop light do I go to hell because it's against the law? What if I jaywalk or accidentally step on an ant or something? BECAUSE SERIOUSLY. 55. STEFAN WHY DON'T YOU EVER CHECK ANYONE'S PULSE? Final thoughts: This episode didn't enrage me like I thought it would, it's just thoroughly ridiculous because it attempts to haphazardly rewrite history and Paul was such a lacklustre groom, like faaaam, those vows were horrible. And Caroline and Stefan are just so isolated from each other, like they don't feel like a couple or a pair, they don't feel like one, it's so very cold. Kelly coming back with her daughter to destroy MF is like, I mean I guess, Katherine's plan isn't even original, Stefan was going to burn MF to the ground first anyway, like we're seriously recycling plots in the same season too? This was actually laughably bad.

See that's where I have a major question on how everyone endgames goes down. Cuz lets say Stefan is dying in the finale. SC gets a wedding, a final moment of happiness with friends and family then it's ripped away from them, somehow leaving Caroline's ending open for Klaus someday??? What about DE, is the cure no longer available to Damon? Does that mean Damon stays a vampire but spend 60 years with Elena til she dies. And BE, Enzo gets resurrected but Bonnie is the immortal queen of hell???

Honestly I have no I idea. I just hope the endgames are a little better than that. Gosh I just need the end and to know all my babies are okay.

Some fans tend to think there were SC foreshadowing in s1 but there actually wasn't.But how hilarious it is that they played All American Reject's Back to me during the 'you & me,it's not gonna happen' scene.

It's actually so fortuitous that SC had that stuff in the Pilot because I think that helped it get powerful stuff in the end because it was there since the Pilot. I mean Caroline makes a couple of references to the fact that a part of her has wanted Stefan since she first saw him and their last scene is in the hallway where she first saw him. I also love that when she's talking to Bonnie and she's like "I try so hard and I'm never the one" and Bonnie says "it's not a competition" and Caroline says "Yes it is" and she WON LMAO! She got the June wedding and she got the I will love you forever, a true triumph for a character who was intentionally embarrassed to prop the main girl/ship of the Pilot.

Another interesting thing is Book!Elena looks like Show!Caroline and even has her personality more than Show!Elena ever did. In the books Elena is the queen bee with a secret heart of gold and Stefan doesn't even like her when he first shows up he goes for Caroline first and then Elena.

Since some of you have been curious about the ROs parents, I thought I’d just make a comprehensive list for you all! It’ll also help me in having something to easily reference back to when it’s needed.

Arthur Kingston — Father

Personality: Holds a great love for the outdoors — fishing, gardening, bird watching, etc — there isn’t anything like being surrounded by the crisp air of nature. A steadfast presence, never wavering or faltering, Arthur stands by his family through any storm; always willing to be a rock, always willing to shoulder their burdens if it meant they’d smile just a bit brighter.

Appearance: Standing at around 6’6”, Arthur has a lumberjack physique — strong but still looking huggable. Medium brown skin causes the gold within his honey brown eyes to stand out, complementing the dark black of his curly hair; that he typically cuts short, only ever allowing it to grow out during the winter months.

Ursula Kingston — Mother

Personality: Stricter than her husband, Ursula expects order and discipline within her house, but, despite that, she’s extremely loving and never feels more at peace than when her cubs are with her. Even if she’s hard to read at times, and her barking orders can be quite intimidating, there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her family. The absolute epitome of a mama bear.

Appearance: With a taller stature, around 6’3”, Ursula has a stout physique. Medium brown skin complements the sharp brown of her gaze, allowing for her dark brown curls, that she typically has styled to just beneath her chin, to stand out elegantly. She’s a woman that exudes strength and serenity in equal measures.

Alaric Voltaire — Father

Personality: Alaric is a steadfast man that doesn’t take failure lightly. To some he can seem cruel — even to his own family — but he’s deeply committed to the vampiric race; ensuring its continued survival well into the future. He’s cunning, ambitious, perceptive, and, above all, intelligent enough to use the aforementioned traits of himself like weapons.

Appearance: He’s an imposingly tall man, standing at around 6’9”, with a muscular physique. Chilling sea green eyes, that are reminiscent of an endless winter, offsets the almost boyish onyx curls that frame his face, the longest of which falls to just over his shoulders; bringing focus to the dips of his cheeks and sharpness of his jaw. He has a fair complexion.

Yvonne Voltaire — Step Mother — ⟡

Personality: Yvonne, despite what some may expect, is a gently soft-spoken woman that offsets the chill her husband constantly brings. However, don’t let her sweet smiles and docile disposition fool you — there’s a reason she caught Alaric’s eyes enough for him to marry her. She’s a woman that would do anything to get what she wants or to protect her family.

Appearance: Dwarfed by her husband by a foot, as she stands only at 5’9”, Yvonne makes up for it by the general aura of her presence upon entering a room. Golden white hair falls to the middle of her back in waves, bringing out the honeyed undertone to her porcelain complexion, and complementing the ocean blue of her gaze. She has a slender build with a light musculature.

Lucian Aurelia — Father

Personality: He’s the kind of man to be in the middle of court with his child proudly situated on his thigh. Family, to him, has always meant the most — it’s fortunate that his wife has a propensity for dealing with the nobles and dignitaries. Soft-hearted and soft spoken, it’s of no surprise that many liken him to a teddy bear.

Appearance: Standing at a modest 5’6”, King Lucian has never let what he lacks vertically influence him the slightest. Thick honey-blonde locks of hair fall across his a beige-toned forehead, always being met with a flippant comb-through by his fingers, which brings out the warm gold within his gaze; crimson rarely ever making an appearance. From days of throwing his children into the air, or practicing with his guard, or running through the halls of the palace in a game of tag, King Lucian has developed a rather buff physique.

Elena Aurelia — Mother

Personality: She puts her responsibilities to the Eclipse Throne above all — even if it means she’s absent at times — but Elena has never wavered in shielding her children from any harm; even if her husband is the one they typically go to. Having a quick wit, paired with a silver tongue, and an attention to detail, Elena has done much for the supernatural world as a whole.

Appearance: Queen Elena stands at around 6’4”, her tall stature complementing her lithe physique. Raven black hair, that seems iridescent underneath the sun, falls down to her hips in a beautiful cascade; bringing out the pink hue of her full lips. Golden tanned skin causes the crimson within her dual-colored gaze to stand out, but the soft aureate quality acts as a gentle backdrop.

Dante Grant — Father

Personality: An apex predator, if there was ever one. Dante Grant enjoys the thrill of the hunt, the anticipation that thrums through his being, bloodlust coursing through his veins. He’s sadistic, only rarely showing mercy, but even then you’d probably wish you were dead, and revels in the fear he instills in others. It’s an intoxicating drug that he’ll forever chase the high of.

Appearance: An intimidating man standing at 6’8”, with an olive complexion. Black hair is styled neatly, with the sides cropped short and the top a bit longer, sometimes causing the strands to fall across his forehead. He has dark brown, nearly black, eyes that are as cold as obsidian. Dante has numerous tattoos: both his arms have sleeves, across his chest, and on the left side of his neck. He has a muscular physique.

Lucinda Grant — Mother — ⟡

Personality: Many who meet Lucinda Grant liken her to a viper with one key difference; a viper doesn’t smile before it strikes. Getting people to do her bidding isn’t a challenge — her powers of persuasion making it easy for people to listen; never realizing they’re being played. She’s said to not have a gentle bone in her body, but it’s an unspoken rule to never mess with her pups.

Appearance: Lucinda stands at 6’2”, having a lean physique that belies the strength her lupine form possesses. Dark brown hair, that has soft curls strewn throughout, falls to her shoulder blades, always elegantly styled and maintained. Her golden-olive toned complexion brings out the sapphire blue of her gaze, filled with a cunning intelligence.

Deimos Wilde — Father

Personality: Emotionally unavailable (read: awkward) is one way to put him. He doesn’t truly know how to convey the thoughts within his head into words, which is why they typically translate into actions; even said action is only a pat on the shoulder. Extremely loyal, willing to lay down his life for the pack, he’s tough and won’t ever back down from a fight.

Appearance: Deimos stands at around 6’0”, with an athletic physique. Golden brown skin — marked with a few tattoos — brings out the sharp black of his gaze, the left one being a stony gray — a scar running through the brow to the top of his cheek — after a fight gone wrong. Ebony black hair is cropped short; another scar running from the base of his skull, a little behind his right ear, to the top of his shoulder. He takes great pride in the scars dotted across his body as they showcase his willingness to sacrifice for his pack.

Lyraea Noire — Mother

Personality: One never truly know what’s going on within her mind; a master at carefully choosing her words to never fully commit, or implicate, herself, but still offering some substance to keep someone interested. Flirtatious and seductive, common qualities among succubi and incubi, Lyraea seems to exemplify it — a goddess among them… One that many have tried, and failed, to tie down. Her only true commitment being to that of being a mother.

Appearance: With an hourglass figure, Lyraea complements her stature with the heels that typically adorn her feet; bringing her height of 5’11” to upwards of 6’3”. Shimmering purple eyes, that are reminiscent of an amethyst, bring out the gold within her silvery-blonde hair, allowing for her golden tanned complexion to stand out even more; her skin marked by three tattoos.

Nathaniel Presley — Father — ⟡

Personality: An inquisitive nature is the first thing anyone would take note when it comes to Nathaniel Presley — an undeniable thirst to learn more, to find out the hidden wonders of the world — it’s that exact that he’s passed off to his child. He adores the world and all the wonders it brings — from a mighty waterfall, to a delicate butterfly, and a rolling storm — with an almost childlike sense of awe.

Appearance: Not standing much taller than his wife at about 5’5”. Light brown hair typically falls haphazardly across his forehead, as he typically forgets to style it, which complements the tanned complexion of his skin. Gentle hazel eyes taking in the world from behind thin-rimmed glasses. He has a slender physique.

Althea Presley — Mother

Personality: Home cooked meals and big family gatherings are the crux of who Althea is; extremely family oriented, she’d break her back if it meant getting everything prepared for everyone to enjoy. With a gentle, yet firm, touch, she doesn’t play around when it comes to academics and hobbies, but she’d always support her children in their endeavors — no matter what.

Appearance: Having a stature of only 5’0”, Althea truly brings life to the phrase “tiny but mighty”. Golden brown hair falls to just over shoulders, bringing out the golden undertone to her beige complexion, and complementing the underlying gray within her cobalt blue gaze. She has a petite physique.

Important Note: Caden has been excluded as they don’t have any (living) parents — and referencing their family in general is spoilers. Blake’s other parent is a mystery in general and Sloane’s family is complicated in general (the only one I can truly reference being their father).
