I actually think the fandoms a bit too focused on ships instead of the horror/thriller aspect of the webtoons. Im a multishipper but I really dont think any should become canon besides aiden/ashlyn. I also really like how reds emphasizing the horror/thriller part in the new episodes as the story picks up again from the facility part.

I honestly agree anon as a fellow multishipper I think we as a fandom focus too much on shipping rather than the platonic relationships between the group and the mystery of the phantom dimension. yes I really like the focus on the horror aspect of it I genuinely can’t wait to see what happens next!!

Had a Benlor thought guys

so imagine Ben ranting about his crush on Taylor to Aiden (he totally does this guys) and he’s using his text to speech app and once he’s finished typing his rant he let it plays and he’s awkwardly blushing as Aiden stands on the side and listening to it.

Then suddenly BOOM Taylor walks in the room and she’s like “HI- …?” And Ben is panicking trying to turn his app/phone off getting more embarrassed by the second but it isn’t. turning. off.

I made an Ashler soulmate au post a few weeks ago, but I have more ideas so I’m making a Part Two!

Here’s Part One

I think the whole soulmate thing would get revealed to the other when Tyler “dies”. Like Ashlyn is put out of commission when it happens, a physical sign shows up on her, or through the connection she can sort of tell what happened. Only it’s weird because she can tell he died but she also fells that he’s alive cause phantom realm magic or whatever.

Anyway Tyler and Ashlyn explain like the bare minimum to everyone. Unfortunately some of the other don’t really get the whole “don’t want a soulmate” thing the two of them have so they keep pushing the two of them together.

the bigger problem with this is that Tyler and Ashlyn are actually starting to like each other and they are super obvious about it and everyone can tell, which doesn’t help the meddling. Though it takes awhile for Ashlyn to realize and Tyler (somehow actually being emotionally mature here and understanding what he feeling) refuses to tell her.

this whole thing leads to a bunch of conflict for the two of them (yk when Ashlyn figure it out) cause they hate the idea of soulmates. They think the two of them being soulmates makes their feeling for each other “lesser” cause it’s only because of fate,

It would be funny if one of them confessed completely on accident and they both freak out about it.

But one of them talks to one of the parents (probs Tyler’s mom cause she understands the whole soulmate thing pretty well) and they realize that they can like the other person despite the soulmate thing cause they don’t like the other because they’re their soulmate but despite it.

The person who had the convo goes and talks to the other one and they have an actual conversation about the soulmate thing for the first time ever along with talking about their feelings. (Yay healthy communication)

- So as we all know, Tyler is a certified worrier.

- And douchebag (sorry man, still love you)

- But he's very protective of the people he cares about, which luckily includes you.

- Which is why, after you tagged along to Savannah and went to the phantom world with him and everyone else, he panicked hardcore.

- Essentially his entire world came crashing down after he realized he could lose you and his sister.

- But the absolute best part: You didn't even know he liked you. He actually actively avoided you in the real world.

- A lot of times when others or you would point out how he's oddly protective of you, he brushes it off saying he's protective of everyone (We all know thats a lie.)

- And eventually everyone decides to just let it play out, and see what happens.

- After he dies in the phantom realm and wakes up in the hospital, he panics because thats when he realizes he can lose you too.

- After Aiden almost dies however, Tyler doubles down. He becomes more protective of you and Taylor, and eventually panic confesses to you.

- You are so astounded when he confesses because y'all like just woke up after Aiden died and he's like "I'm in love with you.", it's kinda bonkers.

Aiden -

- ??huh??

- I personally don't think he's the kinda guy to get embarrassed or anything around his crush whatsoever.

- Like the second he figured out he liked you, he just said it. And then y'all started dating

- However this does mean he doesn't leave you alone really ever, phantom realm or not.

- But honestly that's not too crazy, he's sweet about it.

- But he does worry about you a lot more now, and tries to keep an eye on you at all times. but obviously sometimes that just can't happen.

- But similar to Tyler, after both him and Tyler die, he worries about you so much more, to the point where it's slightly obsessive.

- Like he continues his irrational and lowkey crazy exterior, but he worries about you internally.

•she acts nonchalant, but she's internally freaking out.

•she's spent days weighing the pros and cons of confessing, and it got the point taylor had to beg ashlyn to just tell you already. her crush on you was so obvious (at least to your friends) that it hurt.

•you two will spend at least five minutes sitting in complete silence until ashlyn starts talking.

•she's not great with words– we know this. but she's spent a lot of time figuring out what to say, how to convey just how she feels about you.

•ashlyn's a realistic person, she knows rejection is in the realm of possibilities and dreads the scenario of it happening.

•she's a naturally blunt person, and that doesn't change while she confesses. it's charming, in a way.

•eventually, she'll just come out and say it because the overthinking is starting to frustrate her.

aiden clark:

•he's either super cryptic or really forward, it just depends on how he's feeling that day.

•it's most likely a spontaneous confession– he listens to his impulsive thoughts way too much.

•if he's nervous, he doesn't show it. he's staring at you with that stupid smile like he didn't just confess to you.

•unless you're a little brain dead, you probably noticed he had a crush on you. he didn't make it super obvious, but his eyes always found yours after he made a joke, and he was basically always by your side, regardless of where you were.

•aiden's observant. if you liked him back, he knew. he didn't comment on it, but he knew.

•it wouldn't be surprising if he confessed in the middle of a conversation, which there's a 99% chance that's what'll happen.

•if you were talking, he'd cut you off with "will you be my girlfriend?"

•if he's talking, he'll absentmindedly slip it into conversation and not realize what he said until you react to it.

•"that bio homework kicked my ass... hey, will you be my girlfriend?"

ben clark:

•he's so nervous and it's so sweet. he'll plan everything out because he's a sweetheart and wants it to be perfect.

•when he invites you to hang out, he seems a bit on edge and can't look you in the eye because you're so gorgeous and he will freeze up.

•100% gets you flowers. will also get you your favorite food– better yet, he'll make it. yes, his hands are trembling when he gives them to you.

•he'll spend the entire night before drafting up the most heartwarming message you've ever read. he feels kinda bad that he can't tell you directly, so he makes sure to communicate how he feels the best he can.

•blushing the entire time you read what he wrote. starts internally freaking out while you read because he's so scared you're not gonna like it.

•is literally giddy when you accept his confession. he gives the best hugs ever, so expect one of those.

•goes into detail explaining what he likes about you (pretty much everything) and how he feels about you. if you cry easily (me) there's a good chance you'll get misty-eyed.

tyler hernandez:

•it took him a while to accept that he had feelings for you, so it'll probably take him months to even think about confessing.

•honestly, you'll probably end up confessing before he does. if you don't, though, there's gonna be a lot of unspoken tension.

•he'll end up confessing for a couple reasons. one, taylor will not stop pestering him until he does because it's so obvious you two like each other. two, he gets so fed up with all the uncertainty and tension. he hates it.

•during the actual confession, he's a mess. his face is pink and he's obviously flustered but he'll get so defensive if you point it out.

•he's lowkey fumbling over his words until eventually he just blurts it out. he thinks it's the most embarrassing thing he's ever done– you think it's sweet.

•"i'm in love with you, okay?!"

•"...shut up– stop laughing!"

•he'll be so butthurt until you assure him that you feel the same way. he's still gonna be butthurt after, but he'll be too distracted to really care.

taylor hernandez:

•taylor's really in tune with her emotions, so she'll know pretty quickly when she develops feelings for you.

•she'll give it a month or so until she confesses, just because she's nervous and she really doesn't wanna mess anything up.

•her confession would be really thought out. she'd have your favorite movie, snacks and drinks laid on her bed.

•she'll try to keep it short and sweet, but taylor has a tendency to ramble. there's a good chance she'll go off topic and you'll just sit there, smiling and listening to her talk until she realizes.

•just like her brother, her face will be pink the entire time. she won't get defensive if you point it out, since you most likely look the exact same way.

•"i've liked you for a while now, but i just didn't wanna say anything. y'know, in case i messed something up between us or you didn't wanna be friends anymore- you still wanna be friends, right?"

•you'll have to tell her you wanna be more than friends. she doesn't wanna accidentally overstep by asking.

logan fields:

•he's the type of person that will go through every possible scenario before making a decision. that's why it took him so long to confess to you– he was nervous you'd reject him.

•when he does decide to confess, the first thing he's doing is hand making a bouquet from his grandparents greenhouse. taylor helps him by asking what your favorite flowers are.

•he's also a rambler, but he doesn't go off topic. he tries to keep it simple because he doesn't want to overwhelm you, and it works! he has to physically stop himself from rambling from nerves, though.

•when you accept his confession, he's smiling from ear to ear for a good week.

•his heart melts when he sees that you've put the bouquet he made in a vase, sitting proudly on your kitchen counter.

•audibly sighs from relief when he realized you didn't reject him– and gets embarrassed when he realizes that you heard him.

SBG MAIN SIX UNDER THE MISTLETOE

Yes I know it’s not Christmas anymore, but this has been on my mind for a while now.

Ashlyn:

This probably happened in Aidens house cause I don’t believe Ashlyn would even hang up mistletoes at her house. Aiden probably thought it would be fun to put them up. Ashlyn seems like the type to know about the tradition but never physically participate in it so she forgot about it.

At first Ashlyn was confused as to why Aiden started Ooooing at her. Ashlyn raised a brow and glanced at Aiden, confused until Aiden pointed up. Ashlyn saw the mistletoe and shrugged. “So what it’s just a mistletoe?” And that response made the others giggle/snicker as they shove you under the mistletoe with Ashlyn.

This causes you to squeak out and glance at Ashlyn awkwardly and slightly red faced. This just made Ashlyn more confused until Taylor reminded her of the tradition. Kissing whoever you get stuck until the mistletoe with.

Dating:

This girl is panicking so bad, but all you see is some blank ass stare and maybe a hint of red on her face.

Now your probably taller then Ashlyn so if y’all do actually decide to kiss if you start it you just tilt her head up, but if she starts it she probably yanks you down with enough force to hurt.

Of course she’ll be sorry, but she wouldn’t apologize right away as after the kiss she’s to flustered to even look at you. The kiss is 100% on her mind for the next week.

Not Dating:

She’s panicking and her normal get your hands off of me self. Honestly she’s probably jolted back when you moved even the slightly hint towards her. She’s bright red the whole time.

This just causes the others to laugh so bad. To which Ashlyn just sends them a glare. If you do manage to get close enough to kiss her, she’s probably really stiff.

Now when you did lean in to kiss her, she chickened out last second and snapped her head to the side causing you to kiss her on the cheek. She was flabbergasted and ended up shoving you back.

Because of that kiss though later on in the day she did manage to confess to you.

Aiden:

Again This probably happened in Aidens house. His family seems like the type to decorate and I mean DECORATE. I’m talking lots of Christmas lights, they probably have some inflatable Santa, multiple Christmas trees, and of course the most important detail mistletoes.

This time though instead of the group noticing the mistletoe first Aiden does. You'd just so happen to walk under one of the many mistletoes in his house. Aiden would just give him signature smile and walk over to you with a hint of a blush on his face. He'd talk to you for a minute then look up and be like 'oh? Would you look at that, we're under a mistletoe. You know what that means

That had caught the others attention and Taylor had glaced up and started giggling when she noticed the mistletoe. Aiden would then state with mock innocents that you two now have to kiss in some form of way because of the mistletoe.

Dating:

This boy is practically jumping with joy and of course just so happened to have an energy spike at that moment with him twitching and fidgeting a bit. And he grabbed your hand to mess with it asking if you were up for it.

Now you either to embarrassed to kiss him in front of the others or you went through with it and kissed Aiden. Aiden of course didn't give two shits that the others were there he just wanted an excuse to kiss you.

If you do end up kissing its probably a very sweet kiss. He'd pull you closer and either lean down, look up, or just tilt his head to the side and with no hesitation give you a kiss. He has no shame

If your to embarrassed to kiss him in front of the others he might pout a bit, but he wouldn't force you. Though the moment the others aren't looking/aren't around he'd managed a quick peck on the lips.

Not Dating:

100% is blushing a lot more. I mean like blushing in that one episode when Ashlyn grabs his hand. Though I believe for Aiden whenever he's embarrassed his face doesn't turn that red, but his ears do. And he's fucking panicking internally so bad.

He'd make sure your okay with him kissing you before he does anything. If you agree he is fucking overwhelmed with excitement and joy. He'll carefully pull you closer maybe hesitate a second before kissing you to give you time to back out. The kiss was short and sweet.

He's blushing so bad whenever you guys pull back, but you can tell he enjoyed it from the huge dazed smile. That would 100% give him the confidence to confess.

Ben:

Surprise! Aidens house cause I can’t think of anything else. He was probably trying to avoid all of the mistletoes as he helped put them up so he knew where they all were.

Aiden noticed that Ben was avoiding all of the mistletoes and he knew about his fat crush on you. So Aiden being Aiden came up with a plan.

You, Ben, and Lily were all just chilling in the living room just cuddled up under some blankets watching a movie. That’s when Aiden decided to put his plan into motion. He grabbed a mistletoe and held it over you and Ben.

Dating:

When Ben noticed Aiden and the mistletoe in his hand he flushed bright red and tensed up. You noticed him tense up and glance around to find out what’s wrong. That’s when you see Aiden and your face also flushes red.

Aiden just smirks and claims that you and Ben have to kiss now. This just causes Ben to turn an even deeper shade of red as he glances away awkwardly.

If you two do share a kiss it’s quick very quick just a soft peck as he’s very nervous in front of the others and well he heard Lily just being a kid and ew-ing at you and him.

If you or him end up backing out, Aiden would be disappointed and continue trying to get you two to kiss. In the end Aiden, while you and Ben were distracted talking to each other ended up pushing both your heads together. It didn’t go as planned and y’all were just in pain.

Not Dating:

Really and I mean really nervous. He’d probably try to cover your eyes before you see Aiden, but he was already to late. He still covers your face though.

Aiden just laughs like a maniac the whole time and teases Ben. Lily was confused and asked what was happening. When Aiden told her she squealed and honestly probably unintentionally exposed him. Just some child whisper or ‘you can kiss them now like your in a fairytale isn’t that what you wanted?”

This makes Ben flush an even deeper shade of red and with some encouragement not only from Aiden and Lily, but also the way your face is red. With his hand still covering your eyes he leans in and gives you a quick peck.

Logan:

Okay let’s try a new place? Let’s try Logan’s house. You had came over around Christmas so they were decorating and you decided to help. Logan’s grandparents adore you. They are so happy Logan has some good friends(or more).

In fact since his grandparents could tell Logan had a crush on you and they liked you. They set Logan up. It wasn’t Logan’s idea for you to come over it was theirs. That’s how you ended up in the Fields house.

Logan’s grandparents knew exactly what they were doing when they had Logan hold you up so you could put the mistletoe in it’s place. The moment Logan sat you down they immediately spoke up about how you were both under the mistletoe.

Dating:

Still panicking so fucking bad. There is no way this boy has kissed you yet. So this would end up being y’all’s first kiss and his actual first kiss. He immediately stiffened and looked at his grandparents like a deer in headlights.

Once he’s calmed down enough to speak he’d act like a kid immediately saying ‘GRANDMA?!?’ Like what she said was the most embarrassing thing in the whole world. His grandparents would just laugh at him and honestly you did to.

He would not be the one to kiss you. In fact he’d probably just start rambling about why that’s the worse idea he’s ever heard and that you probably don’t want him to. Of course you shut him up by snagging ahold of his sweater and pressing your lips against his.

He squeaked and immediately froze. His brain quite literally shut down. His face was bright red and he felt like he was gonna pass out. Of course after a moment he melted into the kiss. Then he remembered his grandparents were there squeaked again and backed away from you covering his face.

Not Dating:

Bright red. That’s all you can say. And I’m talking the whole nine yards (that’s a saying right?) his whole face is bright red, his ears are bright red, and his neck is red. He is blushing like no tomorrow and he looks like he’s about to pass out.

He’d honestly try to walk away, but his grandparents just kept on teasing him. He had his head down and eventually agreed after you did. He’d try so so so hard to follow through and kiss you, but he was hit FULL FORCE with some  top-tier embarrassment.

He actually almost passed out his anxiety was through the roof. And he ended up resting his head on your shoulder. You laughed and told him it was alright and help him sit down. Of course you did manage to sneak a little kiss on the cheek, which just made it worse. He could couldn’t talk or look at you for the next couple hours.

Taylor:

Let’s make this at the Hernandez’s house. Taylor 100% invited you over to hang out. It was her idea, she honestly doing it to also make Tyler have no choice, but to be nice to you.

They had the normal amount of decorations for Christmas including mistletoes. Taylor seems to be one of the most confident people in the group. So she honestly probably planned this.

You were both just chilling in her room. She was just yapping and honestly you were to. At some point though you quieted down and just listen yo Taylor talk. Until she held something above your head… a mistletoe.

Dating:

She was really giggly while doing this. She knew exactly what she was doing. She wanted to kiss you and she was going to kiss you. She just gave you an excited smile while her face was slightly red.

If you do end up kissing Taylor you might wanna hope Tyler doesn’t walk in. Or else you’ll have to deal with overprotective brother. It would be a really sweet kiss. You could feel her smiling and trying not to giggle.

Tyler would see the both of you later with Taylor giggling with a red face. He raised a brow at the two of you, but surprisingly he wouldn’t question the two of you. You and Taylor just ended up cuddling the rest of the day.

Not Dating:

She’s still giggly, but she’s really giggly now. She’s blushing and it’s really noticeable. She’d swing the mistletoe slightly and ask if you wanna kiss.

If you agree she is overjoyed. And doesn’t hesitate to lean in and give you a kiss. She’s very happy and has a huge smile on her face.

If you say no it’s because Tyler just had to walk in at that moment. When Taylor noticed Tyler she practically LAUNCHED the mistletoe across the room her face turning bright red. Tyler just ended up giving you the whole you better not break her heart or I’ll break your neck talk.

Tyler:

Again at the Hernandez house. Taylor invited you over for dinner because one you and her are friends and two she knows even if Tyler won’t admit it that he has a fat crush on you. Oh and yes Taylor didn’t tell Tyler that she invited you over.

When Tyler saw you in his house he froze just for a minute. Before immediately going back to his grumpy self. Taylor honestly was the one to get you two under the mistletoe. She called both you and Taylor into the living room and the moment you both step into the living room she points up.

There right above yours and Tyler’s head is a mistletoe. Tyler immediately flushed red, but tries to hide it by just grumbling and calling the mistletoe tradition stupid.

Dating:

He’s fake cocky and tough when he’s literally panicking on the inside. He’s grumble thinking you helped Taylor plan this and say something like ‘if you wanted a kiss you could have just asked.’

Yet when it comes to actually kissing you he’s surprisingly flushed and hesitant. Like he doesn’t want you to hate the kiss. He does manage to kiss you though and honestly he’s a lot more red then what he was. Don’t tease him about it though or your getting a pillow to your face.

Taylor was so happy when you and Tyler kissed as if she didn’t know that you two were dating. Tyler and you 100% end up kissing more throughout that day as Taylor kept on randomly holding mistletoes above yours and Tyler’s head.

Not Dating:

Panicking big time panicking. He’d seen Taylor a small glare for doing this to you two. He’d glance at you awkwardly and then try to act calm and collected asking if you wanted to kiss him.

If you say yes not only would Tyler seem to get more awkward, but Taylor would immediately squeal in delight and honestly that probably got their moms attention. Who ended up walking in and as soon as she walked in she paused.

There you and Tyler were sharing a small kiss, after you two pulled away Tyler was grumbling his face noticeably more red. His mom might speak up with something like ‘awh my sons all grown up’ which just causes Tyler to get even more flustered looking away to hide his blush.

Getting together:

He probably would known you’re dropping hints, but never does anything about it because he doesn’t want to risk your friendship if he’s misreading

He gives some hints of his own, but you’re either oblivious or just straight up scared to do something about it

Taylor definitely knows, she’s his day 1 wingwoman (though he won’t let her actually do anything to help)

They absolutely just sit in the living room sometimes while he grumbles about “she’s so pretty it’s not fairrr 😓” and Taylor’s trying to help but she’s kind of just sitting there like “okay but are you going to do something about it orrr 😐”

Don’t get me wrong, she loves him but she’s PRAYING DAILY that y’all would just get together already so she can have some peace

Anyway I feel like he confessed first; either the stress of the phantom realm made him feel the need to get it off his chest, or you two were left alone one time and it just came out.

He def didn’t believe it when you felt the same at first

Once it registered he sat there for a while like “okay. Cool. Cool. …cool. glad that’s settled.” (He’s internally freaking out)

He’s not THAT jealous, he’s pretty secure in your relationship

Having said that, he doesn’t hesitate to come straight to your side if other guys (or girls if you go both ways) try talking to you

On a happier note, he’s gradually gotten more into social medias and stuff as the group has influenced him more, so you can sometimes convince him to do cute couple trends :)

Can i please have a Ashlyn x fem reader??🥺 were the Sbg group does the pocky challenge and manages to get Ashlyn to agree to join, and so everyone has a turn with each other (Except for the siblings and cousins ofc) and Ashlyn keeps on backing out every 1-3 bites. While fem reader beats everyone. But then it finally came to Ashlyn and Fem readers round, and surprisingly Ashlyn didn’t back out and they both get really close to each other and finally the reader backs out blushing and Ashlyn wins. "oh, don't be a downer, ashlyn!" aiden retorts, opening the pocky box, struggling to open the actual package. "this is gonna be so fun!"

"yeah!" taylor nods from her spot on the couch. "we're all friends, it won't be weird or anything. celebrities do this all the time!"

"this isn't a variety show like those kpop idols you watch, taylor," tyler rolls his eyes.

"don't disrespect them!" taylor points a finger at her brother.

"anyways," you say loud enough for them all to hear. "who should go first?"

"i want to!" both taylor and aiden raise their hands excitedly.

"alrighty then," you nod. ben takes the package from aiden who was still struggling and opens it before handing it to you. "taylor hernandez, in the right corner!" you announce as you stand up. "aiden clark, in the left corner!" you fail to notice a pair of eyes on you as you stand between taylor and aiden, taking a pocky out of the package. "okay, i'm going to give you guys one of these, both of you will have each end in your mouth and you'll get closer and closer until one chickens out. this is basically a fun game of chicken. remember, we're all friends! if anything happens, i doubt it'll do anything. are you two ready?" you glance between the two.

"ready!" they say and nod.

"awesome," you grin, handing the pocky to aiden. "round one, start!"

you sit back down on the couch next to ashlyn watching the next few rounds go on. you were grinning from ear to ear every time it was your turn, winning each time you competed. ben was keeping score for fun, and you were easily winning with aiden trailing close behind, only losing cause he backed out at the same time ashlyn did when they did theirs.

now, it was ashlyn and tyler, the second to last round before it was you and ashlyn. taylor was sitting beside you while watching aiden announce the start of the round.

"y'know, i think she's nervous," taylor says to you in a hushed voice.

"hm? i'm surprised she even agreed," you reply, looking over at taylor. "i mean, this was aiden's idea so."

"that's not what i mean," taylor shakes her head. "i mean clearly she's getting more nervous because you're the last round." she says, trying to subtly hint at you ashlyn's feelings towards you.

now you look at her with confusion. "why? cause i keep winning?" you question.

taylor stares at you with a deadpan expression. you're serious. jesus christ. "no," she says slowly. "because-"

"and tyler wins!" aiden exclaims, clapping his hands. "and another loss for ashlyn." he says with a sigh. "anyways! for the final round we have yn and ashlyn! yn, get your ass over here!" aiden grins.

you get up from your spot on the couch and stand in front of ashlyn, smiling lightly as aiden hands you the pocky.

"alright, this is the last round, folks!" aiden says. "if yn wins, she wins the whole thing! if ashlyn somehow manages to win...i guess she also wins the whole thing cause yn is undefeated! are you two ready?" he looks at you two.

"yep," you nod, grinning as you put one end of the pocky in your mouth.

"i guess," ashlyn mutters with a nod, taking a step closer and putting the other end of the pocky in her mouth.

"amazing! let the final round start!" aiden yells, taking a few steps back and sitting on the couch next to ben.

ashlyn's eyes don't meet yours as you take a bite off the pocky, inching closer to her. she can't believe she agreed to do this stupid thing. but, when she finally does look at you, a sudden wave of confidence hits her, and she's determined to win. whether that be making you back out or getting to the end and kissing you. she takes two bites off the pocky, getting much closer than you anticipated causing your breath to hitch in your throat, a small blush forming on your face as you peer back at her.

she's taking you serious, and you couldn't tell if that was a good thing or not. she had backed out within the first three bites with everyone else, and she just bite off more than you did first in all the other rounds. you try to keep your hands from shaking too much, shoving them in the pockets of your jacket so no one can see, starting to panic slightly as you take another bite.

one of ashlyn's eyebrows raise seeing you visibly tense up as you took another bite. you're nervous. that's new considering how well you were doing beforehand. a small smirk makes its way onto her face as she takes another bite, her lips inches away from yours.

you freeze as ashlyn takes another bite, thinking she would back out by now. there was maybe two inches left of the pocky, and you could feel her breath hitting your lips from how close you were. you're not sure if you're breathing at this point, seeing the smirk form on her face and realizing she knows you're nervous. shit, when did she suddenly look so pretty? your face heats up more as your thoughts run around, and you find yourself cursing and pulling your face away from her.

everyone's jaws drop as soon as you take a few steps back, staring in shock as you quickly turn and look away.

"holy shit..." aiden lets out, standing up. "ashlyn has won!" he exclaims, clapping his hands. "great job, ash! as for you yn, i'm disappointed! what the hell happened?!" he looks at you.

"nothing," you quickly shake your head, not being able to look at anyone knowing how much you were blushing. "i need something to drink," you say, speedily walking away into the kitchen.

leaning your back against the kitchen island, you cover your face with your hands, groaning quietly in embarrassment. "such a dumb idea," you murmur into your hands.

"that's my line, y'know,"

you jump in surprise at the voice, removing your hands from your face to see ashlyn standing in front of you, fairly close. your eyes widen slightly as she takes a step closer to you, your mouth feeling dry as you look at her.

"why were you so nervous?" she questions. "with me, i mean," she adds.

"what?" you try to play it off, very obviously lying. "i wasn't nervous."

"uh-huh," ashlyn nods, leaning closer to you and seeing your eyes go wider. "see, you're nervous again. i can hear your breathing hitch. so why?"

shit, that didn't work. you don't know what to do now. you either admit the feelings you had and hope it doesn't blow up in your face, or lie again and hope it works. with a quiet, hushed voice, you manage to get words out. "i-i like you,"

a small smile forms on ashlyn's face at your confession. "good, cause i feel the same," she says in the same voice as yours. "now, can i kiss you since your dumbass chickened out before i could?"

all you do is nod your head, leaning closer as she does, your lips connecting with hers. it was short, pulling away quickly to not get caught by the others. you smile at her fondly, reaching for her hand and grabbing it. "see? this wasn't that dumb of an idea."

"yeah, i guess," ashlyn nods, a tiny smile on her face. "i'm not doing it again, though.

"even if it meant you would get a free pass to kiss me?" you tease.

"maybe not."

Midnight. An hour you learned to hate at the start of the semester ever since you went to Savannah with your “friends” that you had to make a project with. You and Logan were friends before everything happend. You were the one that helped him and confronted his bullies and he helped you through some real shit when people sent you threats or called you names just because of your skin color. You could say you developed a small crush on the blonde boy. Maybe it was his looks, or his very likable personality and admirable dedication. You don’t know, you just really liked him.

Back to the present time, you and the group decided to get the jeep finally with Logan staying behind, backing you up if anything bad happened. The tune of “Party Walkers” being heard to distract the phantoms. “Couldn’t you guys have picked a better song? I dunno something with a bit more action?” You say and climb down the rope, sprinting towards the house, flashlight in hand. “I think thats the least of our problems right now.” Taylor says, Tyler nodding along with her as they fought off a phantom. “Right sorry.” You run to the car and go to hop in when realization hit you; “Ashlyn it’s fucking locked!?” You say and look at the the rest of the group who were arguing. You look towards Logan who looked confused so you take out your walkie talkie; “The cars locked, we’ll have to go find it. Be careful okay?” “I should be the one telling you that.” You chuckle and give him a thumbs up, putting away the walkie talkie and walk inside with the twins, Aiden and Ashlyn falling behind.

You and the twins look around the room, when Taylor suddenly speaks up; “Soo, whats up with you and Logan?” She says, shuffling in some random drawers. You freeze in place and look towards her; “What do you mean?” You say and open one of the cabinets, finding the key. “Got’cha”

Taylor shrugs and opens her mouth to speak when you hear a loud ‘bang’ from outside. Everyone tenses up and you share worried glances but decide to stay in the room just in case. A few minutes later you see a pretty beaten up Aiden and Ashlyn, breathing heavily. The twins question their appearance and the gunshot but you interrupt them; “Guys let’s go I don’t want those black fucks finding us.” You say backing up to the door, not noticing the hundreds of phantoms that were lurking in the house. “Y/N behind you!” Ashlyn yells and you turn around quickly, a phantom jumping on you, claws digging into your flesh. “Shit!” You kick the phantom trying to get it off of you when Ashlyn suddenly pointed her flashlight at the phantom, turning into some black goo with eyes. “Ew Ashlyn what the fuck you should’ve let me die now I got this black shit on me.” You say and try to stand up but you hiss in pain, clutching your side. “Y/N are you okay?” Tyler says, holding you up. “Yep fine, just have a chunk of flesh missing but yep everything okay!” You say sarcastically and glare at the boy. “Nah of course the black kid gets fucking slashed i’ve seen horror movies.” You say as Tyler hoists you up onto his back. You look out the door, hundreds of phantoms watching your every move. You tremble slightly, pointing your flashlight on them as Ashlyn tells you the plan on how to get out.

You guys form a circle and slowly walk out of the house. You hand the keys to Ashlyn and you guys quickly get into the car. Just when you thought you were safe phantoms start banging on the door, breaking the windows. Everyone screams in sync as Ashlyn swerves the car and drives as fast as she can. “Logan open the gate!” Ashlyn yells into the walkie talkie and furrows her brows, focusing on the ‘road’.

You clutch your side, your clothes and hands soaked in crimson blood. Taylor was trying her best to stop the bleeding as much as she could, putting pressure on your wound; “Ashlyn go faster Y/N is literally going to bleed out!” Tyler yells, earning a glare from you and Taylor. “I’m fine damnit.” You say and take a deep breath. The second Ashlyn goes past the gates they shut, everyone rushing out of the car. They rest you on the ground, the red sky seeming to go blurry in your perspective. You hear a distant voice, the voice you oh so adored; “Y/N? Y/N! Stay with us!” Logan shouts, placing your head in his lap; “It’s going to be okay we’re here with you.” He clutches your hand, rubbing soothing circles on the back of it. You smile, your vision going black.

6:58am. You jolt awake, suddenly in your room. “Fucking hell..” You rub your eyes, your side feeling numb and sore. Your phone starts to vibrate like crazy, getting at least 20 messages a second from the others, but one especially stuck out to you. “Y/N??” “Y/N??” “I’m coming over.” It read and you smile, getting ready for school. Your hair was currently in some braids your mama made a few days ago. You smile at the thought, moments like these between your mom being rare since she was always really busy. You change into a new pair of clothes and go downstairs to make breakfast. A few minutes later you hear a knock on the front door. You run over and open the door but you get tackled in a bone crushing hug. “Y/N I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anything you help I really am, I couldn’t bear the thought of loosing you, I love you so so much you’re the most important person in my life, I just—” You cut him off with a quick peck on the cheek, leaving the blabbering boy to look at you with his usual cute puppy eyes. “It’s okay Logan really, you couldn’t have done anything it’s not your fault alright?”

Logan looks at you confused; “You have feelings for me? You’re not weirded out that I like you?” You chuckle and fix his glasses and ruffle up his hair. “Of course not why would I be? What’s there to not love about you?” Logan smiles softly at this and cups your cheek before speaking again; “Can I uh—” “Yes you can.” He turns a bit red and pulls you into a gentle kiss, not realizing the group had seen the interaction between you two.
