In order to qualify as a "daddy", a man should be over a certain age, right? I heard a random girl call Timothee Chalamet a daddy and snorted my tonic water.

To me? Yes. Absolutely.

Some people I guess just call any man they're attracted to daddy. Or they say it's an attitude and not an age.

While I do agree that daddy can be in their demeanor, they still need to be of a certain age.

When women or girls call a man under 40 daddy, I'm just like no. Yeah, I know a man in his 30s can be a father but it's just not the same as being that type of "daddy".

Timothee Chalamet?! That right there is far out man. He looks like a 15 year old boy. He has -10000000000000000000000 daddy vibes.

I mean, people can do what they want but no dude that young could ever be a daddy in my eyes. Even when I was that age and younger never in a million years would I have called a 27-year-old dude a daddy. Absolutely fucking not. Even back then I knew they needed to be 40+ for me to consider them a daddy and preferably have some grey in their hair.

The whole daddy thing I feel like came from "sugar daddies" which were always older men. Under 40 might be older than a 25 year old, but they aren't considered an older man in the general sense of the term.
