dont make me tap the sign
i know it ultimately trails back to the corporations but i just wanna say i think it’s heinous that old heterosexual men are STILL seemingly always in showrunner positions for major television shows, or at least they are always the ones getting their ideas greenlit. and so the most accessible popular media (the narratives we collectively see) are determined by these dudes who do not relate to You. they don’t care about what or who You’d like to see represented onscreen. sometimes this is affected by diversity in the writer’s room, etc., but for the most part everything must be dumbed down to what THEY THINK an average middle-american audience member can tolerate—and it’s insulting to everyone’s intelligence! It’s nearly 2025 and we’re all supposed to accept that certain kinds of stories are not worth telling (on that scale) because why? because it’s potentially alienating to a demographic that already has decades of screen representation to enjoy?
SO let’s talk about how showrunners/networks are well aware of viewership demographics and the profitability of fandom. Take a show like wwdits, where a lot of its notoriety had to do with its general edginess and, importantly, its appeal to LGBTQ audiences: the creators intentionally featured a mlm will-they/won’t-they at the center of their show, to the point that it was arguably the driving force behind continued viewership. It’s the carrot on a stick. “How will we keep profiting off of these queer viewers? Make them hope. Textually suggest the prospect of a fully realized gay romance and then tease these viewers for making ~homoerotic fanart and fanfiction~ like that wasn’t the plan all along!”
Your fanwork, whether it’s drawn or written, is free publicity for the source material. You Need To Know that. Because the corporate bastards Have Known That. that’s why supernatural was on for 15 seasons. Not because the plot itself was worth that much, but because the supporters of the central gay ship MADE it profitable. And baiting them only fans the flames (basically, it drives people crazy. spn still trends on here like once a week, 4 years later). & they want you crazy. they want online engagement. they want it trending on tumblr and twitter. They believe that if they give you what you want (canon gay rep) then the show will instantly lose profitability.
So. That’s what it comes down to. Your dedication means nothing to them but job security... and if you dare to take the bait and hope for the writers to fulfill what they VERY deliberately set up, they’re gonna straight up mock you. In the end, they’re just gonna fumble all of it, because they never cared about You or even the characters and their stories. Why bother if it doesn’t seem profitable anymore, right?
God it’s all so cynical. Keep writing fanfiction. Keep making fanart. Keep engaging in fandom spaces. Do it because YOU have passion. Do it because YOU care about a story or characters that mean something to you. Do it because we, as the folk, as the common people, need to have some way to control these narratives. We need to create our own hope, even if we get belittled for it. It’s all we have to combat the cynicism.
#vent#i have been tweaking all day#i KNEWWWW that finale was going to piss me off bad#the CRUMB we got was still so insincere#im just tired. imma watch abbot elementary later its the only show thats nice to its audience#wwdits#wwdits spoilers#queerbait#spn

I've read the post about how arm prostheses are often more trouble than they're worth and it makes sense. My special interest fandom doesn't have robotics or magic anyway, so a prosthetic there would more or less amount to a stick with possibly a hook on the end, and I'm not trying to argue in favour of making anything more advanced than that here. What I would like to know is if the same practical considerations apply with someone who's lost BOTH hands or analogous gripping appendages. Is it worth it to go for the lightest and least clunky prosthetic possible or is it still easier to do everything with the mouth and/or feet? Does it vary depending on what one is doing, or how much of the arm is lost?
Hi!
[Please note, we don't currently have mods who are amputees; you can try checking with some of our recommended blogs from our navigation post, but I'm not familiar with any bilateral arm amputees doing writing advice on Tumblr.]
There is a lot of factors that would go into this, and the two you mentioned are absolutely important, but I'd say that age plays the biggest role. What I mean is how old the person was where they had their arms amputated, since that's where I generally see the biggest difference in prosthetic use.
For the following sections I'll presume a scenario where the person is financially able to buy prosthetics that would suit their body in the technical aspect and potential assistive devices to get them on etc. aren't a problem to acquire for them.
If someone loses their arms at 70, they're almost certainly going to be using prosthetics, at least part-time. They spent decades doing everything with their hands and probably have close to zero coordination necessary to do these tasks with their feet now, not to mention being in worse condition in general due to their age. Even if their prosthetics are the simplest hooks, they will probably give them more independence since at an older age and with no practice, using their legs would be out of the question and using stumps could be much harder for someone whose way less flexible and strong. This doesn't mean that all the cons of an arm prosthetic disappear, because they don't - in this scenario, it just means that the possible pros outweigh the cons.
If someone is born without their arms or loses them as a younger child, they're probably gonna wear prosthetics at first because their parents will want them to and will stop just as fast. Have you tried to put a shirt on a toddler? Now imagine trying to put two arms on them that they can't fully control. For someone younger they will just instinctively do things however they can, whether that would be by using residual limbs (more common if it's below the elbow) or feet (more common if above the elbow). There might be some tasks that might be impossible or very difficult to do without a prosthetic, and then the person might get a specialized one - Bebe Vio is a wheelchair fencer who uses an arm prosthetic to hold her foil because you can't really do that without one. Some instruments might also require the use of a prosthetic, but children generally tend to figure to do almost everything out with what they got. There are armless drummers and guitarists who play with their feet.
You can check this video out, it's by Isabelle Weall where she talks about why she chooses to not use prosthetics arms. Jessica Cox is one of the most famous people with no arms and she can do more or less everything - fly a plane, do karate, drive a car. Matt Stutzman is one of the best compound archers in the world and he doesn't use prosthetics either. All these people lost their arms young or were born without them.
Obviously a lot of people will be in the middle. That's where length of residual limbs will play a major role, but also people's lifestyle or what they do on the daily basis. If someone needs the tactile sensation to be able to do their job, they will probably prefer using their arm stumps or feet if the stumps are too short.
But if someone's stumps are too short, and they don't want or can't use their feet (it's not as easy as just starting to do stuff with your toes, it requires a ton of practice, flexibility, and patience) then they might go for prosthetics or a prosthetic, singular. Some people might find it easier to adapt to a body-powered prosthesis because to them the pros of one are more significant than the cons. I mean, not that many people have the flexibility alone needed to write with a pen with your foot, let alone coordination. They could wear a prosthesis when they know they'll be doing a lot of grabbing work because it's awkward for them to try doing it with their residual forearms and take it off to play with their dog because it feels nicer to pet it when you can feel it on your skin.
There is of course the situation where regardless of factors, neither option really works for someone. They might have minimal to no ability to actually use prosthetics (weakness, other disability), while their legs might be atrophied from the bedrest caused by the illness that required their arms to be amputated (or anything else that prevents them from using their legs). This person might rely on caregivers instead for a lot of tasks, and these people absolutely do exist. Sometimes it's a situation that happens right after the amputation and they later find something that works for them, but sometimes they might not. This is a possibility as well.
All these factors should be considered for a character, and then of course you have to factor in the character themselves - can they afford prosthetics? Do they have a way to learn how to use them effectively? Get them fixed and adjusted? If the learning process of using a prosthetic is frustrating to them, they might not want to use it at all, and if it comes easily to them they might be more inclined to do actually wear it.
Of course even if the pros-to-cons analysis decides that using prosthetics would be beneficial, the cons are still very much there. They're still heavy, with not the greatest dexterity, sometimes causing skin issues or muscle soreness. It takes a lot of work in occupational therapy to be proficient in using them. As long as you do research on the reality of using bilateral prosthetics (both negative and positive sides, which will be different for different people so you should get as many perspectives as you can) it's definitely okay to include them. There's no point in painting them as either magical tools that are just like regular arms or making them seem like they're completely useless pieces of junk - though they can be that for many, but for others they can also be what helps them live their life more fully, makes bringing groceries in easier, or just allows them to participate in that one hobby they do once a week.
And of course: when in doubt, have a range of disabled characters.
I hope this helps,
mod Sasza

So, what's the deal? What's this Seb Vettel's Amazing Lovers Fic Fest all about then, eh? What do you have to do? What are the rules for this fest?
Well... *cracks knuckles* ...lemme tell ya!
🌟 FEST RULES: 🌟 -All works must be complete and handed in ON TIME! If you have any issues prior to the fest’s due date, such as a possible time extension, get in contact with me or the mods well in advance.
-You may sign up as both a writer and an artist, if you want to.
-Submitting AI generated works is NOT allowed and goes against the fest’s rules. You will automatically be kicked out of the server if this happens.
-DO NOT WRITE OR DRAW ANY SEXUAL CONTENT INVOLVING MINORS (PEOPLE WHO ARE UNDERAGE)! You will be banned from the server if you’re caught doing this.
-You’re free to share snippets of your fanfic or artwork in this server. Just make sure you add ones that don't reveal too much of the story. Obviously, you can share the whole thing with the people you’re collaborating with by the time artist claims rolls around.
-Another thing to keep in mind of: If you’re going to talk about the fanfic you’ll be writing for the fest on platforms outside of Discord such as Tumblr, don’t spoil too much about what happens in your story. Try to keep it all under wraps until the date of the fest to keep your audience in suspense.
-As always, please don’t share your work with anyone outside of the fandom. The RPF world is our little corner of the internet and is not to be shared with anyone outside of that. That includes sharing it with the people you’re writing about.
✍🏻 WRITERS: 📖 -You are allowed to write more than one Seb pairing for your fanfic. You don’t have to restrict yourself to just one Seb pairing. You can have as many as you like in your story. Or you can stick to just one Seb pairing. Whatever you fancy!
-You are allowed to include any motorsport series you like in your fanfic (F1, Moto GP, WEC, etc.), but you MUST include Sebastian Vettel in it in some way. You can cross it over with other racing series, if you wish. However, general crossovers from films, TV shows and video games are NOT allowed! You can base a story off of them, but don’t attempt to put a character from, say, a Marvel film into your stories and artwork. This is a Sebastian Vettel and motorsport server after all! You can stick to canon or write a wacky, fun, silly, or dramatic story in the form of an AU (Alternate/Alternative Universe). It’s completely up to you!
-You can write a one-shot or a multi-chaptered fanfic. You may base your work off of an existing fanfic you’ve written, but it MUST be standalone and not a new chapter of a multi-chaptered fanfic. If you’re planning to make a standalone prequel or a sequel to a multi-chaptered fic you’ve written, then that’s fine.
-Your work must be at least 75% complete to submit your proposal by the artist claims.
-Communicate with your artist and beta readers. You can DM, email or message them. Whatever works for you and for them.
-All complete works must be 5k or more to allow the artist plenty of information to do some artwork for you.
-Your work must be tagged appropriately.
-You’re not allowed to publish anonymously. Your username must be clearly displayed when publishing your finished work. We won’t be able to find you otherwise!
-Make sure to give credit to the artist you are paired with when submitting your fanfic.
🎨 ARTISTS: 🖌️ -You have free rein to create all sorts of art pieces for the writer’s fanfic in any style and format you like: A title cover, a banner, a scene from the fanfic, etc. You can do some traditional hand drawn pictures, paintings, arts and crafts, video edits, traditional/digital collages, and many more. Go crazy!
-There’s no limit on how many you decide to do. Doing just one piece of fanart is absolutely fine if you can’t manage to do more than that.
-Be sure to give credit to the writer you’re paired with when submitting your artwork.
As mentioned before, if you have any questions or problems, don’t be afraid to get in contact with me or the mods.
In other news, sign-ups for the fest are still open, so head on over to our Discord server to join as a writer, an artist, or a bit of both. Maybe even a beta reader! Or you just want to have a bit of fun! Everyone's welcome!
Happy writing and arting! 💙
From your captain,
Gemma (aka @avida-heidia-5)

Radiostatic is the general ship name, can be reciprocated or not
Radiosilence/Onewaybroadcast is unreciprocated (usually Vox being in love with Alastor), Radio Silence is also the name of a book so some people are trying to get Onewaybroadcast to take over so the book tags aren't full of hazbin art (not as much of a problem on Tumblr, because we can have spaces in our tags)
Staticlovetune was/is the OG reciprocated radiostatic name I think
I might be wrong, but that's what I've gotten so far
😵💫 there are so many.
I totally get people wanting to separate certain depictions of the ship, especially because not everyone vibes with unrequited love and there is a LOT of unrequited love in the RadioStatic tag. I get it. That shit hurts.
I just cannot keep up with all the names. I think I'm going to stick with just RadioStatic/StaticRadio for now, but thank you for explaining them to me. I knew about RadioSilence, and then I saw people saying Onewaybroadcast, and to my understanding they were the same, so I just couldn't figure out what was going on 😭
Bless all ya'll for knowing what content you want and do not want to see, that's the fandom curation I support.
I'm gonna stick with the general ship name for my own sanity, though. But now that I have a de-coder (thanks Anon) I'll at least know what people are talking about unless I forget the names which is also a high possibility
#so many different names#im used to there being only one ship name per pairing#Spideypool has never ever changed#or had any variations#I didn't realize how spoiled I was until now#i do love that people know what they want and don't want#i totally get not wanting to be spammed with unrequited love stuff#that stuff gets heartbreaking#it'll just be statioradio for me though#im a basic bitch#asks#anon#anonymous#staticradio#radiostatic

Haha, I explicitly don't tag my rwby critique posts as RWDE because I know people will just block or insult me without even reading what I wrote
Honestly? Valid choice. I've gone on record about my own choice to tag for both "RWBY" and "RWDE," but to be frank I think "RWDE" is a borderline useless tag. RWDE folks have never agreed on what should go in there. Non-RWDE folks have definitely never agreed on what should go in there. It was created as an absurd way to divide the fandom between (incredibly subjective) Good Content and Bad Content, with the result that this actively undermines the purpose of posting on tumblr: for new people to see your stuff. Most of us recently saw that post with someone understandably asking what in the world RWDE was... as well as some of the top answers that provided an incredibly biased, borderline lying definition. Unlike something like "RWBY Critical" that both tells newcomers what it is and does so in a neutral way (these are posts that are critical of RWBY and the tag itself gives no indication as to whether that's a good or bad thing), "RWDE" is nonsensical to anyone not already in the know and is a RWBY-fied version of a very negative word: "rude." Despite most of us embracing that, it's still a tag designed to turn newcomers off.
So how is anyone supposed to find like-minded community members when our main tag doesn't follow any other tagging conventions, is framed as a negative from the get-go, and polite questions are immediately met with the more intense fans painting the worst picture possible? That was always the point. RWDE isn't "We just want you to have your own space where we don't have to engage" it's "We want to make this as difficult as possible so eventually you'll just leave." So... yeah. I use it because I know it will hit an already established core group actively looking for the kind of content I write, but I 100% understand you and others going, "Why would I use that? The fandom has been trained to block on sight. That's not going to help other people see my work on the Let Other People See My Work site."
I think I've said this before, but I want to do a version of those wine social experiments. You know the ones where they take super duper cheap wine, stick a fancy label on it, tell people it's the Most Expensive Vintage Ever, and watch them wax poetic on how absolutely stunning the taste is? Give RWBY fans a post without tags/blog name (or, to follow the pattern, with misleading tags/blog names), watch as many people agree with the points made -- or at least consider them seriously -- and then go, "Aha! This was a RWDE post all along!" Like any fandom under the sun you'll never have people agreeing on criticism and there will always be individuals who can't stand a word said against the show... but I guarantee if you removed the bias associated with RWDE you'd get a lot more fans who are RWDE.
Also, side-note, gotta love that I make a post talking about how fans are too inclined to attack critics than engage with what they're saying or simply ignore their stuff... and what's at the top of my inbox but someone calling me a piece of shit and accusing me of stuff I've never ever done (harassing the creators, misusing Monty's name -- the usual accusations that, as I said, fans pick up and repeat ad nauseam without thinking through whether they're accurate).
Me: Hey, don't send people insults, baseless accusations, and death threats because you disagree over the quality of a show
Anons: [Immediately send insults, baseless accusations, and death threats for the sin of telling them not to do that]

Tag at least six people (can be more than six if you want), and say at least one nice thing about or to each of them. Can be mutuals, can be people you follow, can be people you don’t know but just happen to exist in the same circle(s) with. All you gotta do is tag them and say something nice about/to them :)
I was tagged by these lovely people (and decided to pull an uno reverse card on ALL OF THEM >:) : @bottleofchaos , @rebelwithoutabroom , @findinghomes , and @wolfboypunzo
@findinghomes- Finn, you make every space you enter just a bit more brighter, always a kind word to say to someone’s latest creation. Your writing never fails to take my breath away. You manage to capture such raw emotion, you put so much of yourself into your writing and it shows!!
@blocksforbrains - hiya Blocks!! I feel like it’s been a while since our paths have crossed, but we’ve been mutuals since before this blog was created, thanks for sticking around for the ride :)
@latenightsinmay - May!! Gosh, it feels like we’ve been mutual for forever. You’re someone I’ve come to depend on, still hanging on during the rainy days. Thanks you for quality tags and some amazing pjo posts
@wolfboypunzo - Asher!!! You lovely sweet human!! A frequent goer of my inbox!! I’m happy we found each other, you’re a little ray of sunshine, always with something kind to say. You’ve stuck with me through it all, and I’m happy you’re here.
@mahikamihan - Yumi!! Your art never fails to warm my heart!! I love how you always encourage those around you, it’s always a good day when I see you on the dash. Thank you for always bringing the community together by proposing fun little events, our fandom is brighter with you in it
@demonstars - nunki!!! I can always count on you to understand the cdnf demons. Your skillfully crafted posts never fail to shatter my heart in two, thank you for keeping the demons and insanities of Dnf alive and well
@hearvex - fun story H. I randomly saw one of your edits on YT before you joined the fandom and was immediately shocked. It was utterly stunning, unlike anything I had ever seen. Imagine my surprise when I saw you on tumblr, it was like seeing god at Walmart. Being mutuals with you has always been an utter delight, this fandom is better with you in it :)
@rebelwithoutabroom - Taizi!!! An awesome writer and an even better tumblr mutual. Thanks for being my hype person whenever I’m pitching fic plots, and thanks for letting me bounce ideas off you. I can’t wait to see what you create next, I’m lucky to have you as a mutual
@bottleofchaos - Ocean! Thank you for always being there to back up my Greek mythology/ Dnf parallels, you are an absolute gem! There’s always so much humanity in your fics, a fitting reflection of the person writing them
@jupitersthirdstar - Jay!! Thank you for the top tier fic recs and being someone I know I can turn to when things get a little crazy here. I love your loveposting, keep doing your thing!!
@froggyrights - hi Charlie! I know we haven’t been mutuals for too long, but I’ve always thought you were hella cool. I started playing undertale on your recommendation, and I feel like that set the tone for the sort of mutual you are (someone with absolutely based takes)
@rosy-skies - Rosie, oh my dear Rosie. If there was anyone that had to be part of all this I’m glad it was you. Thanks for being *here* with me, seeing the side of me that’s here online. It’s been an utter delight having you here, love ya
@suenitos - Nov, one day I’m going to hold you accountable for your web weaves because they don’t leave me teary eyed every. Damn. Time. You have an incredible scope for all the emotions a human can feel, thank you for unknowingly introducing me to some of my best inspiration
@minecraftdog - Mandragora!!! You always leave the most delightful things in my notes and all around one of the kindest people here, I’m happy to know I have you in my corner
@bagelrites - resident skephaloer and maker of adorable art!! Your stories are always so cozy, thank you for making our corner of the fandom all the more lovely with your creations
This is the part where I’m brave and say wonderful things to people I’m not mutuals with but I still need them to know that I think they’re amazing
@anonysage - your art never fails to take my breath away. You always manage to capture so much intimacy in your work, weaving an adorable narrative into everything you create. Thank you for sharing what you do with this fandom

Dean is such a stereotype of a protective older brother/sibling and I know so many older siblings who are like him irl. The motherfatherbrther crowd is my probably least favourite thing about tumblr
Especially with Sam being the more awkward or “freak” younger sibling liek this is a well known trope to me?
literally i can't stand people who say shit like that. he's written very similar the trope of the (over)protective big brother and that's also a role he uses to define himself as a person, it feels like he actually wants to be sam's older brother and feels lost when he can't be. and besides, being caring or protective are not traits exclusive to parental figures, it's something that anyone from cousins to great grandparents can have and i feel like we are already incredibly limiting when it comes to our understanding of what family can be in fictional settings. so many people stick to the rigid idea of "this character is (slightly) older so they must be parental/ the parent to the younger character", especially when creating found family headcanons, it honestly seems like the existence of older siblings is not something that crosses people's minds anymore (on that note, i think i would be less disturbed if people said dean acts like an older brother or uncle figure to some of the characters fandom likes to pretend he adopted. he is neither, but it would fit better). and as an older sibling myself i just find it weird when genuinely mundane sibling interactions or even just basic kindness are treated as dean being sam's father figure or mother (which i hate more tbh). like not to harp on about it too much but it's only child behavior to act like dean isn't a brother first and foremost, and to say shit like "he acts more like a father to him", it just shows you have no idea of what siblings are like. and like you pointed out, sam as a character is very much written as someone who sometimes needs saving or protection from monsters, and with their lifestyle that was ingrained into dean's brain since at least the shtriga incident. we also know sam always felt like a freak in some way, and saw him be the target of a bully during his school time, so to me it's completely clear why dean would be so protective of him after all that.
also, through my family i actually do know someone who was parentified, a woman who is 14 years older than her sister, and she's still very open about seeing her sister as her kid in ways that dean never was. it just feels very different to have dean make a remark about failing to be sam's mother and father because he felt abandoned and helpless, and to hear her recount that people used to assume her sister was her actual biological child and how she did everything from infant care to helping with her homework. she was clearly maternal towards her sister, and still is even though they're both over 50 by now, while i never really felt like dean wanted to be fatherly to sam. and additionally her sister is completely accepting of it, i think everyone can at least agree sam would never see dean as a father figure.

Sometimes when I leave my save and sane QL fandom bubble, to venture out to find interesting new things and information, I see posts of people... and brother.... for a moment there I understand why antis hate us. Like if you only see those weirdoes (derogatory) in youtube comments, MDL or on xitter... even sometimes here in tumblr.... the image of the community looks really bad and ignorant.
Like stuff like this
A bit of self reflection and respecting a persons boundaries and privacy before posting stuff would be neat. I mean at least on the actors social media and their posts ..... (and their xitter # and MDL pages since they check that occasionally)
No but besides that, some peoples comments are just straight up dumb or hurtful? Like gossiping about actors looks and bodies (yes even skin color in either direction). Or top / bottom discourses on yt & xitter with the most stupid cliche arguments you can imagine. 🤦♂️
And don't get me started on the fanservice discourse. THAT looks very different on yt / x than it looks here on tumblr. Like 90% of them don't even get why people are skeptical about actors who just drop the "yea we are boyfriends" line. They all think you are homophobic and hate the actors if they would be dating in real life if you don't immediately believe it. No fam... it's because the BL industry PR made them lie and play pretend for years (and some even just mean "we are boyfriends on screen" like work-husbands) and now we cannot tell anymore if it's a genuine coming-out or if it's not... not surprising that those fans are all cis-hetes and therefore can't even grasp the annoyance of this, and just parroting stances they have heard are political correct ala "it is not our business / why should you even care" because representation from them and support from us that's why! And the ever ongoing prejudice that BL actors are all hetero. And if actors go that far to say such stuff on cam they should be clear about it if it's just playing or if it's real 🤷♂️
Like as example Copter who came out as nonbinary makes me damn happy as fellow genderqueer nb person, to see there is some celebrity feeling similar as me. But if they would now come around and say "actually that was just promo" it would feel shallow and like a betrayal even. (but I know Copter is genuine). Or Cooheart and every other open fem gay guy in the BL actor crowd is damn important for me and others as idol to look up to. But also to stick it to every idiot in the BL comment section / or anti side, that tries to gaslight people into believing that feminine gay men do not exist outside of fictional BL stories and manga (I see this stupid comment from different people way too often and it pisses me off so much).
Anyways, what I want to say is that unfortunately the image is still way worse than what I want to believe / hoped it is. And we can fight against antis & hater for acceptance and understanding as much as we want, if there are still so many loud idiots in our community it's hard. What's the point of this post? idk.. educate ya fellow idiot? We already got better over the years in the fandom but it's still some path ahead of us. And use your own brain please. Also before you post comments on some actors stuff, think about if you would say the same to their face in real life.

i was wondering if you have any advice for people who want to start writing on tumblr?
hi hi!!! first of all, i'm so so sorry it took me literal weeks to answer this, I just haven't really had the time to sit down and give this the response it deserved!!!
so to be honest, I'm not sure I'm the best person to ask this because I have no idea what I'm doing, but in general I'll say this:
Look at tags! See what other writers from your fandom are tagging their stuff with and then go off that. and only put your fics into the tags actually corresponding to the character you're writing about.
engage with other people's fics. granted, I don't read that often on here, but every time I do read something, I make sure to reblog it. as fellow writers, we all know how important encouragement AND reblogs are. it's literally our only acknowledgment, and we as a community have got to stick together there. (the like to reblog ratio on here is......... depressing to say the least)
Think about formatting! this isn't super important but if a fic looks nice, people will be more likely to stop scrolling. also pls use a read more if you're posting anything longer than a drabble!
I do think proofreading your stuff to at least check for blatant grammar mistakes is important, too. (everybody misses a typo here and there btw, I know I've posted stuff with embarrassing mistakes in it before lol). also getting beta readers to read over your fics before posting them is a great way to improve your work but also to make friends! :---)))
You can always open requests for a while since it's a great way to build an audience, but only do that if you really want to and feel it will be fun! a lot of requests can quickly become overwhelming.
most importantly just have fun. it doesn't matter if a certain trope has already been written or if you think a fic might not be as popular. this is your free time and you're choosing to spend it by providing people with stories they can enjoy! the least you can do is make sure you're having a good time, too!!!
I'm wishing you all the best and hope you have a great time!!! Posting your writing for the first time can be super daunting but it's also exciting and fun and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!!

Hello! Your Poang Pals Secret Santa here :D Just wondering, have you done the questionnaire? You seem to have mentioned it in a message in the channel but I can't find a link or anything to your answers! Otherwise, do you have any favourite headcanons about Mulder or Scully I could potentially include? Hope you're having a good week 🥰
OMG I SO SORRY. Tumblr didn't let me know that I had a message until I actually went into tumblr itself T.T
Also, not I only actually did the questionaire, but I try to be somewhat detailed in my initial submission, and when I didn't see a message I assumed you didn't want it T.T
Anyway because I wanna overshare anyway here is the questionaire!:
Starting broad, tell your Santa about your relationship to The X-Files. This could be how you got into The X-Files in the first place, what the show means to you, or just general information you think might be relevant for your Santa to know: I did see txf a few times growing up, but as it wasn't really the typical genre for me, I didn't reeeeally get into it until about a year and a half-ish ago. My mom got into a binge of it, and I would see random episodes when I so happened to be around. Even though I only saw extremely random episodes, I got really into it. As I can't seem to just say I'm into something like a normal person, the idea of "wouldn't it be funny if we cosplayed as mulder and scully at conventions and pretend we are investigating?" was pitched to my sister (as we are both vendors at conventions) was born, and I watched the episodes for "research". Meanwhile, I felt postiviely spoiled as there was so. much. fanworks. and active fans. The last few fandoms I partook in were really small. I got THE" one bed fic" say, while in txf there is like 2000 of them. It felt like christmas every day here. Also people act like the show is still active. There is a spark of excitement I haven't felt in fandom in a long time
Tell your Santa about your favorites! Favorite characters, favorite moments, favorite episodes, favorite seasons, favorite ships, etc. Hmmm, I DO love me more of the comedic episodes. Like bad blood, small potatoes etc. I feel like I don't really have a favourite season really. They all have their good episodes and something to love from the ones I saw. Obviously my fav ship is msr, but I do sometimes like to see one of them momentarily jealous. Just…. nothing to get in the way of holy, holy msr
Tell your Santa about your LEAST favorites! We all love our show, but it also sucks sometimes. Which parts suck the most for you? Mind you, I haven't actually SEEN seasons 8 onwards, so I would avoid those for me. I am not a fan of the emily arc, or anything else that focuses too much on scully's infertility. The fact it happened is fine enough, but when it starts to be and entire thing is ehhhh…. Also the later myth ark episodes sometimes doesn't do it for me. One that really sticks out to me is "closure" and how they dealt with Samantha's abduction. I mean, c'mon CC
Tell your Santa your favorite tropes and genres! Only one bed? Friends to lovers? 5+1? Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort? You get the idea. I LOVE sick fics, under cover stuff (dating, married couple etc.), awkward situations (like getting locked in a closet etc.), one bed, one or both of them getting drunk/high etc. I do enjoy my angst but I something have to be in the right mood for some muldertorture.
Tell your Santa about tropes you tend to avoid. I really don't tend to do AU's. The AU's of "what if x did y" AU's are ok, but I'm not a fan of high school AU's etc. I also tend to avoid crossovers (though ironically I enjoyed playing kingdom hearts lmao)
For your Santa, but also just for fun, describe your ideal X-Files episode. Is it mythology? MotW? A literal porno? Speaking of pornography, tell your Santa what your spice preference: I think MotW or literal porno. My spice rating would probably be Habanero. In theory, Ghost Pepper, but there is some kinks that I reeeeeaaallly don't like I do tend to like a good MotW (even though CC manages to screw them up sometimes). The mythark tend to be so plot packed that they don't allow Mulder and Scully to breathe. I don't need to find out about the mass government conspiricy and 10/10 action sometimes. Rather, sometimes I'd rather them attempt to go to some stupid conference, but Scully gets exasperated about him getting distracted by a thrift store and thinks a butter tray is related to an x file from 20 years ago, y'know?
Those are the most important things, but I want there to be ten questions because it’ll look better, so tell your Santa what ONE song you would pick to describe MSR. (Or if you’re not into MSR, pick a song for your favorite ship, or for TXF as a whole.) Simply simple- Mother mother- for some angst.
Almost there. Pick your favorite TXF quote. "We're exhuming… your potato" Aaaaand, ten. And the last question can be open ended: Is there anything else you think is important for your Santa to know? Put it here!
I'm sorry I'm late at everything omg
To directly answer your question of: Otherwise, do you have any favourite headcanons about Mulder or Scully I could potentially include?: Scully loving to steal his clothing, Mulder being a cat person, but also felt silly that he was kinda jealous of Queequeg, Mulder being bad at cooking, mulder being a good dancer because of his upbringing, Mulder also being very good at eating out (this might as well be facts). Scully having a crush on Mulder pretty much right away. That they sometimes, especially after the first couple of seasons, there is some off screen cuddling after some serious cases and that is the way they deal with their trauma. They never talk about it, or the trauma, becuase you know, its them
#sorry about being so late omg#the meat speaks#I was told there is a way to make this private but fuck it#for secret santa!#poangpals

Sorry I'm basically blowing up your inbox today 👉👈
I know a few of the Mrod blogs on here were femslashy. Especially when she was dating Cara. If it wasn't about them, it was about Rain and Alice or Luz and Miss San Antonio. The het stuff definitely dominated though and it was definitely Vin's fault. Part of me is now morbidly curious about that poetry
Ahhh I have a rant locked and loaded for the majority of Mrod's movies. That outfit was terrible! I HATE when writers think motherhood has to completely soften and suck the personality out of character. It's always a blouse or a cardigan I swear to god. It's not a big surprise that female characters in a series about zooming cars around get the short end of the stick but that doesn't make it any less annoying. Elena having Dom's baby instead of Letty is one of the less stupid decisions imo. I'll have to skim back through F9 again to get my thoughts all back in order brb with that full rant. Fuck Hobbs and Shaw why can't we have a true Letty and Mia focused flick!!
Yeeessshh no worries. I was born the year Girlfight came out ✌️ Talk about Frank's cock all you want
That clothing line would be a problem for my wallet I'm not sure it could handle. The interviews were generally a little painful but I must have watched most of them anyway
The nice thing about the Resident Evil series is that most of the fandom now is femslash because Alice has homoerotic tension with at least one character in every movie. There's a part in the third film where she blatantly checks out Claire Redfield's ass when she walks away and she runs across a room to pet Rain's hair to comfort her in the first one. Quality cinema
don't you dare apologize!! i'm hanging on the telephone. i never realized how much tumblr asks could resemble my preferred method of communication (long rambling emails) and i've had a hard time getting people irl to do that instead of just texting me :/
the mrod poems were written by "bryan s. coe" (who i just googled and discovered is perhaps a digital marketing strategist in detroit these days). the two i still have links to are titled "poem to a hottie on a zip line" and "euphemistic poem to a woman with sub-machine gun" and are about nikki from breed and chris from s.w.a.t. respectively. i feel this stanza from the second one needs to be shared:
while everyone takes cover and protects their body i spy around the corner and see a special weapons hottie those sure are some special "weapons," wouldn't you say kind of appropriate that s.w.a.t. ends with a t and an a!
and it goes on in that vein. extensively. i mean, come on, dude. the meter is all off!! you need to cut "and see" from the second line and "that" from the fourth. also that is a very liberal definition of "euphemistic"
i like the idea of just generally defining time in mrod movies. *guy living in a dystopian future where that's all that remains of our civilization voice* "yeah my great great grandmother was born the year girlfight came out"
personally i thought i got blue crush but that's 2002 :/
i agree that they were right not to knock letty up. the only tragic part is i think she's probably too old to play pregnant now and i would have liked to see that just as fuel for some letty/mia fantasies :(( i can't even imagine what they would have dressed her in. considering you would think mia's 75% sundress wardrobe would be pretty transferable to maternity clothes and they still put her in that ruffled yellow abomination
i kind of wish it hadn't even been dom's kid though. like wouldn't that have been more in keeping with the family-goes-beyond-blood thing? dom could have still done all that crazy crap to rescue elena and her baby. i also hate elena dying. i really did not like fate of the furious in general and it didn't have mia so what was the point anyway. i kind of recognize that objectively f9 might have been the nadir of the franchise but it gave us letty and mia's tokyo dinner date so i'll always love it
also mia going in for the hug just grinning like hey! letty! it's great to see you! and then it cuts to letty, like, closing her eyes and huffing the scent of her hair. baby this is why in my head you've been hung up on her for decades
they need to do a mia & letty spinoff and i feel like there's no way it's actually going to happen. vin's too much of an egotist he would shove himself in there to present himself as the king of feminism or something and then the movie would just be his big dumb head like always. i'm holding out hope they'll kill him in the last movie for pathos but it's probably in his contract that they aren't allowed to
last note on f9 is that i love how after all that backpatting for finally having the gals share a scene it STILL doesn't pass the bechdel test because they exclusively talk about han, brian, jacob, dom, and little brian in that order. i do like when mia says "you'll always be my sister." i hope letty got off to that furiously and guiltily in the shower and then cried
don't even get me started on how the franchise butchers mia. my whole ao3 presence is basically a 750,000-word manifesto on how badly i think they screwed her over. i'm not even asking for that much but just let her be a fucking doctor you'd think with eleven million bucks she could afford to go to med school

I'm not adding to this to argue with anyone, and idk what op's follower count is like, nor do I care. But I would like to comment on two parts (second part is under the cut):
people don't come here to network, and it's a little strange to look at your followers purely as a means of distributing your own content.
Some people do. That was why I joined Tumblr in like 2010 when I was doing freelance illustration. It's quite literally an income stream for some artists who do commissions.
For the majority of us who are not hoping to support our livelihoods by sharing work on Tumblr, the complaints regarding low interaction are not about 'distributing our own content.' I've said it a dozen times and seen other people say the same thing: it's about having some sense of community and shared interests with people—not pointless numbers of likes on a post.
I couldn't care less about likes on Tumblr or kudos on AO3; if someone enjoys what I made for my own enjoyment and then decided to share free of charge, what's wrong with me wanting to hear from them? Most artists (including gif makers, podficcers, etc.) and writers on this site aren't here to churn out 'content' for randos who give nothing back. We're here because we love a thing and want to share our creations with other people who love it and will scream about it with us.
I just... don't understand why that seems unreasonable to some folks?
whether you're an artist or a memeposter or just a regular fucking person with 12 followers, YOUR own followers are your primary audience. as in, the people who saw your art and liked it so much they decided to stick around. and those people are very likely sharing your stuff anyway.
I 100% agree, except they're not sharing it. And I have no idea what it's like for other people who have shared art or fics on Tumblr, but over the past few years, I've still been getting lots of followers. And yet, things like reblogs and comments have only gone down. I'd say that, by the time I stopped posting my stuff on Tumblr about six months ago, I was usually getting far fewer than 100 reblogs on fan art (even days or weeks after posting them), which is about 2% of the people who followed me at that point. And most of those reblogs had no tags, so they were still very impersonal.
So no, I don't expect people who don't follow me to interact with the things I share. But I'd much rather have 100 followers who actually treat me like a human being than thousands who take and never give back.
That's why I like AO3 for sharing fics and art: so far, at least, the attitude of, "I deserve fics and art without even acknowledging the people who make it" hasn't permeated the community over there as much.
Finally, I'm not even writing all this for my own benefit; with the exception of a few events, I don't share my work here and don't plan to start again. But I think it's important for Tumblr users to try and consider all this from the perspective of people who are still sharing their creations here.
Imagine if someone irl said they like the things you make, and you just finished something, so you run over and show it to them. How would you feel if they looked at it and just walked away without a word?
Sure, participation isn't compulsory, but fandom wouldn't exist if everyone acted that way. :/
i agree that its a little strange to see just how big the discrepancy is between active users who post and reblog things and passive users who limit themselves to liking posts and/or voting in polls... but i also resent this idea of like. compulsory participation.
if people want to lurk, let them lurk. does it align with the core idea of a microblogging platform? not really, no. but tumblr is a public website and maybe its high time for some people to get more comfortable with the idea that you're always going to have a silent, invisible audience on the internet, who will read and watch and look at and listen to your stuff without making themselves known. thats the main difference between closed social networks like facebook, where you have total control over who sees what, and (semi) public platforms like tumblr.
yes, the whole like/reblog ratio thing has gotten worse recently, and im sure there are a lot of newcomers who simply aren't sure how to get started with a blog of their own (it definitely took me a while to start reblogging things when i first joined. and it was another few years until i eventually started making my own posts lol) and its good to encourage them, but i dont see how guilt tripping people is going to change anything, especially wrt artists
people don't come here to network, and it's a little strange to look at your followers purely as a means of distributing your own content. whether you're an artist or a memeposter or just a regular fucking person with 12 followers, YOUR own followers are your primary audience. as in, the people who saw your art and liked it so much they decided to stick around. and those people are very likely sharing your stuff anyway. next come the people finding your posts via tags. but anyone beyond that point--your followers' followers, and their followers--those people aren't part of your immediate community. they're random strangers who are here to curate their own little blog in whatever way they like. they're individuals with particular interests and preferences and not simply an abstract ~audience~ waiting to be fed. this idea that people who come across your stuff outside of your own little bubble, and like it, then somehow also owe you a reblog is incomprehensible to me. every single day i see art on my dash from fandoms i dont know and dont care about. and sometimes i click like just because it's well-made. that doesnt mean i want it on my blog

So I’ve been hiding a lot. I’m really sorry. Being back on Tumblr makes me feel like it’s fine to share some of this - I’m sorry if it’s weird to hear - I’m just having a tough time and I need to be honest.
Various things are happening to me in real life at the moment. It’s been one thing after another, and there’s more to come. Usually I turn to fandom for a support structure and an escape from stress, but I’m realising that sense of comfort has been missing from my life for a few weeks now.
I came to OFMD from a small rarepair with a very close and very supportive community. I absolutely wasn’t prepared for the kind of things I’ve experienced in the last few months on Twitter. The OFMD community there has a lot of problems right now, one of the most worrying being a lethal lack of awareness that fan writers are fans. We’re writing for fun, sharing our work for free. But we’re being ripped apart by people who’ve had years of practice at criticising showrunners for creative decisions they don’t approve of. The abuse is largely motivated by jealousy - any author who picks up too much kudos or appears on too many rec lists becomes the next target, and it’s usually cloaked under a false banner of social justice. It’s happening over and over again. It’s transparent and it’s exhausting, and the things being used to justify the abuse are so tenuous that I often can’t believe what my actual eyes are reading. I’ve been accused of misogyny for writing Edward ‘Shoot-The-People-Who-Teased-Me’ Teach as reacting emotionally, therefore “female-coding” him, therefore sexism. I don’t know how to cope in this kind of environment.
I’ve been through endless rounds of coaxing myself to try to relax - to forget about the paranoia and the toxicity, and shut up and get on with writing because I have a duty to finish this fic and everyone’s waiting for the next chapter and if I don’t hurry up and post it then I’ll get Tumblr messages saying “when can we expect the next chapter” and - suddenly I realise, wait. I’m not actually obliged to do any of this.
This is my hobby.
I am 100% allowed to stop doing this at any point I want to.
“But you have a duty to the people who’ve--”
Look, I get that this isn’t something anyone wants to hear, but... no. I don’t. I’m an exhausted thirty-something sitting in her pyjamas after work, having a cry because my hobby somehow turned into a full-time job on top of my already miserable full-time job. AO3 writers don’t have a duty to do what they’re doing. Fanworks are literally a gift of time and energy from a complete stranger. I’d love to be able to ignore the people being abusive towards writers, but I can’t. And, again - this is my hobby. I’m not obliged to ignore the abuse and just get on with the task. If I’m upset, I’m allowed to stop. (Let’s say I joined a knitting club. Let’s say some of the members were routinely vicious and awful to anyone who got “too good” at knitting, and none of the other members ever hit them with any consequences for their behaviour. I don’t have a duty to stick around at Toxic Knitting Club, even if I never finished that pair of socks I started. If the club cares about its own survival, then it needs to make the environment feel safe and welcoming. It can’t just expect people to ignore the nastiness.)
OP, I blanked your name and pfp from this message because I don’t want you to get grief. But I’ve searched for your username in my email inbox, and found that this is the first time you’ve ever spoken to me. You’ve never reached out to chat or be kind or make friends, but you’ve reached out to prod me when you think that I’m being tardy with delivery of your content. Chapters 1 to 43 appeared at least once a week, sometimes twice or even three times a week. Did it cross your mind that maybe there’s a reason why chapter 44 hasn’t dropped yet? Did you think, something must be wrong, maybe I should ask if they’re okay? No, you just came to bang on the vending machine. I’m sorry if this is an uncomfortable lesson to learn, but the writers in your fandom aren’t staff. We’re guests. Tonight, when I get home from work, I have the option to run a long bath, have a cry and play The Sims until I fall asleep, or the option to sit down at my desk and write something for you, even though I might get harassed and bullied for it. You haven’t tipped the scales in the direction you meant to.
I don’t know how to even begin concluding this post.
I’ve been struggling ever since I was dogpiled back in September. I feel very lonely and very tired. Twitter is an awful bloody website and it’s structured around division and argument. I’ve been feeling better since I came back to Tumblr. My breaks at work are now spent scrolling through pretty GIFs or cool meta or funny things about Izzy, rather than drama, and it’s helping. So... I don’t know, OP. Don’t start being like this here. I’m fighting so hard to find reasons to stay in OFMD. Life is rough at the minute, and I want to spend my free time feeling happy and safe with people who see me as a friend, not a vending machine. I’m doing everything a professional writer does, but for no pay, with no protection or support from a publisher, and I’m fitting it around a full-time job. That’s... well, that’s the situation. That’s the situation all your fan writers are in, however well they seem to be handling it. It’d be great if you could reflect on that.
TLDR; this is my hobby, and I work on my hobby when it feels fun.

I've been wanting to get back into learning languages. I know one person's methods and advice won't exactly work for everyone, but do you have suggestions on how to study and practice?
Alright! I'll preface this by saying that I am by no means an expert in language learning, but rather just very passionate about it. Sometimes people assume I'm some genius or something; I'm really not, it's just that if you do something a lot (I'm talking at least 10h a day) because you love it that much, it will eventually start looking like you're quite good.
I also think that, while linguistic geniuses certainly exist, you don't need to be one to learn even a very "difficult" language. Along your Internet journeys and Discord servers and so on you've almost certainly met someone who has said that they learned English just from using the Internet a lot. They're usually underselling themselves by pretending they didn't need to put in any effort, but even then; they're doing perfectly well for themselves just from chatting online about video games or what have you. This is also to say nothing of refugees who learned the language of their new country, even to the point of thereby receiving citizenship, whether they are "gifted" or not! Everyone struggles a bit, but we all get it done. With maybe a few tears.
Those are some long disclaimers, but I feel they're necessary because even if none of these "tips" work for you, it is imperative you remember that LOTE, while with its challenges, is not some unique cool-kids club where only future Teslas can hang out. When you inevitably run into challenges or even a brick wall, don't think it's uniquely a you problem, or see it as evidence that LOTE is not for you.
The best way to practice is to make friends. Where our ancestors learned languages on the Silk Road or by studying the hot new subject at the fancy school on the other side of the world, it would seem humans have mostly become fluent by hanging out. Yes, that sounds terrifying. You might indeed accidentally meet people who are quite rude about your lack of fluency. But join fandoms for international things that have a LOTE-dominated base, or make a new account on (insert-language-here) twitter, and so on. Make mutuals, reply to their stories, etc etc. Just how you'd make friends on English Tumblr. Do not join gaming servers, gamer-racism is internationally true.
I'll emphasise Twitter again because it's really good for practice in small bites and, failing understanding a tweet, there's always a translate button. Of course, you might pick up some bad grammar, and even incorrect spelling, but in a way that's part of the fun and will teach you how to sound more natural with others in casual contexts.
Make sure your studying is connected to things you like, if the language itself is not inherently enjoyable for you. Write your practice sentences or fake conversations about things you like, or study vocabulary related to your interests. It is far more fun to write a paragraph about why you love a certain movie than How To Order Food. It'll stick in your mind better.
Your journey is very unlikely to be a nice, organised, linear affair, and that's fine. Even if you're, say, like me and prefer to learn grammar, common phrases etc BEFORE jumping into the deep end, you'll probably do a bit of learning-as-you-go, and vice versa if you prefer to just study things as they appear. See language learning as a craft, or a tree being nurtured in various ways according to the elements, rather than a set of tasks. Don't forget to keep the humanities part in this subset of the humanities! LOTE is writing notes at a desk, is vocab lists on Quizlet, is random example sentences, but it's also having to Google something real quick mid-conversation, and learning things just by assimilation rather than ever bothering to check it means what you think it does. Just like when you learned your first!

I'm only gonna talk about this once in ted tag cuz I don't wanna muck up the tag. Any other stuff related to the whole incident goes to the contedversy 2022 tag. 🚬 Oh almost forgot. Cheers to @verat9c for the awesome tag you go peep.
Hey folks. I've had a long day. I usually get long days. My days are busy. I come home, stretch my joints, try not to let all the trapped screams inside my lungs leak out of its chambers. Or fall into the sweet temptations of substance abuse. I mean coffee. I ain't a smoker and forswore alcohol a year ago. Tho the urge for a cancer stick grows every week. Especially after smth like this.
Only other addiction of mine is simpin. I open tumblr as usual and what do I see? Yeah. I peeked into Twitter all those years ago and said 'Yeah-ap. Not staying a single second longer in this hell.' And booked it. This place? At least it's fun here. But I keep forgetting most of social media's the same. But I gave away all my fucks I had in me some years ago........I'm just high on caffeine.
@tedraimisimp If ya reading this. I know you deleted your blog. I respect your decision. And no, what you did wasn't exactly wrong, you just shared your experience and ranted abit. We all do that. But you forgot, that this is tumblr.
I know you didn't ask but just so you know...that wasn't the best move. Deleting a blog after that post. People are just gonna pile on speculations and things are gonna go conspiracy level real quick. I know how it goes. Seen enough drama in my time. They already say you deleted blog because you felt threatened or some shit. You planted a ping-pong ball sized molehill, and look at em building mountain over it!
Every single social media that I've been on. Exact same pattern. Never fails once. Whether popular and well-known platform, or not. Doesn't matter. There's faintest blood in the water........piranhas gather.
What breaks my goddamned heart is a fan who excitedly prepared for an event and shared their sweet experience with us now deleted their posts over this shit. Do people not think about the consequences of their actions these days? No I ain't bashing tedraimisimp I just said what they did wasn't wrong. It's those who are blowing this outta proportion and making ops uncomfortable.
For those of you who didn't have an actual experience with Ted. Shut your goddamn trap. Fucking shut it. Let the ones who actually were there talk. I need more evidences to hear from both sides to decide what is valid or not, and all the noises are not helping.
Now the ones who posted about their actual, real, positve/negative experiences, not the 'oh someone posted and mentioned this this and this' idiots, are getting uncomfortable. Just shut the fuck up for once and learn to listen.
Someone shared their experience. That's all. Op wanted to rant because they thought this fandom was safe to talk about stuff and their concerns. You are not making it safe. Yes I like Ted Raimi as an actor. No accusing him of things when there is no actual proof is wrong. Stop making him sound like a predator.
You don't know how many people got their lives ruined over false accusations. Over here it's hella common. All I need is an evidence and I'll gladly shove all my words down my throat. It's innocent until proven guilty.
I was personally a victim of witch-hunting style bullying. One person started a rumor, things snowballed into 'That kid is mentally disabled and carries contagious disease. An orphan. They are a virus. Yuck! Hope they die so we don't have to deal with them in our class. They also steal stuffs. A thief. Check your bags!'
I never fully recovered from it. I was called a 'plague'. Reason of bullying was simple. I was a quiet bookworm. Never talked much, not smiling much. They called me a psychopath and jokingly said one day I'll bomb the school. My best friend now had a similar experience. Those who throw accusations have no idea what the fuck they are doing. People commit suicide over that shit. Fucking shut it, christ.
Now if any of you personally had an unpleasant experience with Ted. Sorry to hear that. But thx for sharing. I needed to hear more 'cuz no person is perfect and I wanted to know more flawed side of him too. If he really has a darker side, and if it's serious, it'll be revealed sooner or later. You don't get to call him terrible stuffs just because he follows someone on social media or flirted with people. Watch your language, don't say what you don't mean, although now that I think about it, that motto that I live by don't mean much on internet does it.
God, fuck, gah my social battery is dying. All I wanted was to chill over wholesome stuffs but now I got this. Imma go watch horse feeding or smth cuz this just proves animals are better to deal with than humans. I can't even write fics in this state godhelpme
#ted raimi#why can't people be neutral and fking listen quietly before jumping to conclusions in another dimension#just gonna hope ops the best wishes and thank them for sharing experiences#the contedversy 2022
