I have very bad cursive handwriting!! To demonstrate, a little behind the scenes for you: Here’s a page from my fic notebook!! For the last and final edits for the last chapters of the thing i was working on, i ended up saving them as drafts in ao3 where i then read them through and took notes on the things i wanted to change before going back in to edit, which is what this page is from.

I wish I could draw because I have this very specific view of Lucky Guy in a weirdly specific au but i dont know if its too weirdly specific for the masses to deem acceptable

Anyways. Lucky Guy being from the future means he's also the only one who knows how to use certain appliances in the manor that come from his time

No one paid much mind to it, except for the ones who were more curious of how such technology worked. Lucky had to stop Luca and Tracy from dismantling a lot of things. He knew how to make them work, not how to assemble them again.

But there is one piece of technology thats caught everyone's attention: Lucky's phone.

He's the only person in the manor with a phone and he's oddly protective of it. Mike snatched it once only to find out that there was a password. Luca and Tracy went ballistic over the information

Lucky takes pictures with it too, and if he's in a good enough mood, he lets people look through his gallery.

Emma scrolled a bit too far and ended up on a picture of Lucky taking a selfie with 3 other survivors she's never seen before. Lucky grabbed his phone away and didnt let anyone even look at it for a week.

Here we go, first sketch dump I’ve done in ages

So I’ve already shown you the Dark Choco can’t die one, so don’t need to explain that

With the Peach one, so yesterday I had remembered the Kung Fu Panda movies and I was listening to their version of King Fu Fighting, and it made me think of Peach Cookie (probably because of her panda pet), so I had wanted to draw her, but just didn’t get around to it yesterday. Then this morning, I was listening to the trailer music for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, since that music has stuck in my head since I heard it (also I am planning on seeing that movie when it comes out, for some reason I’m pretty hyped for it, gonna watch Beast Wars for the full reference on the Maximals), and so when I went to draw, I still wanted to draw Peach, but I wanted to give her a cool action pose. I found some pose references for holding a staff and just drew her in one of the poses best I could, and I thought it turned out really good

Then, later on while I’m here at dinner, I needed a sketch to fill out the page, and I thought, why not do Jujube in a similar pose? You know, given their possible father/daughter connection? So yeah I did that, but from the front. I think I only did the younger version because I didn’t want to do the beard. I think he turned out good too though

It gave me an experiment in perspective and line weight. Not as good as it would be, but I still think it looks good.

And then in between that I drew Snow Sugar and Dark Choco together, which I realize might not make much sense, but it’s because of the fact that the North and South Dragons have the powers of ice and black lightning, and so do their magical artifacts that give them power. I’m almost certain this is coincidental, but still. I dunno, I wanted to draw Snow Sugar, but I didn’t know what to do with them, so I just chose on putting these two together

I think another thing I was planning on drawing was Snow Sugar and Birthday Cake, with me going “what is your lore?”. Or maybe it was just to Birthday Cake as she looks away nervously. But I guess I forgot about it. Ah well, I can draw that another time

similar to the greentext stuff - i was visiting with my neighbors and their grandkids were around, and I said to this eight year old, "Hey, you wanna know something cool? I was playing the game when the Endermen came out." and his eyes went wide, like this kid looked like i told him i landed on the moon. His grandma thought it was really funny, and she said she has no idea what i'm talking about, but her grandbabies do, and that's incredible to her.

oh that's fun lmao, when minecraft & that update's existed for more than your whole life, and yknow being that young and like Next Year fr is this huge time scale away, a couple of years is a quarter of your life thus far and like maybe nigh half of the part of your life you actually have longterm memories for....i was checking out this dev's blog's archives about a:tdd's release in 2010 & in one entry they compared the implicitly Roughly concurrent release of Minecraft and i was like hey whoah. forever primarily being a game i've Heard Of more than any more direct exposure so i had no precise sense of [before minecraft release] [after minecraft release] Year 0 there but it's like for sure back in thee day when minecraft was a new thing, huh

Other people, mostly. Other people are always forgetting things. And they take one look at me and think "Here Is A Person Who Has Spares"; and they are correct. I give out pads and repair small holes in clothes often. Hand out charging blocks for 10 minutes. Pull out crayons/erasable colour pencils and a small book for little kids to draw in when i find myself stuck waiting with bored children. I have cleaning wipes. Both for people and things. Painkillers. Nitroglycerin (it's for me).

I also carry everything I might need In Case Of Emergency, because I don't want to be repacking my bag. I might forget something. I want to be ready to be delayed for 2 hours somewhere because I had another dizzy spell so bad i cannot ride my trike (thing that has happened. Happens maybe once a year? Twice? Other times i wait much less time). I want to be ready for an overnight stay in a bomb shelter if required. I don't think it LIKELY, but it's my benchmark.

@ people who carry bags everywhere what do you put in them what is there to bring other than chapstick, keys, phone and maybe a tampon why are you packing a suitcase to be outside for 5 hours
