I made these for Ko-fi a week or two ago to spice up my page a little once I heard that you can support artists on there like Patreon or Subscribe Star. Since I've left Patreon, I do have a Subscribe Star that I've advertised before, but now I've decided to make support tiers for my Ko-fi as well!

Now the pic says Discord Server Access for the first tier, but the second and third still allow you access to said server, so you'll be allowed in the server no matter what!

The second and third tiers are basically the same, just one is for smaller/cheaper merch while the other is for larger/more expensive. These tiers put you on the mailing list. The 5x7 prints may be a little larger if I have leftover 8.5x11 prints from a convention, and I also might send a sticker or two since they can fit easily in envelopes. The 11x17 prints will come in bubble mailers which means I can send an acrylic charm or pinback button or small non-flat item! My large prints come from my local print shop. The smaller ones are ordered through Walgreens Photo, but I might start doing them at the shop since it's quicker and cheaper. I make my buttons all on my own and the stickers and charms are made through Sticker Mule, so they might take a little time to ship out.

Also keep in mind that if you'd rather not pledge monthly support, Ko-fi does have a donation option and you can choose $5 or more.

No one is obligated to support me financially, though I am not too sure I will be able to pull in enough cash from my current job given the situation with the cutbacks we had recently, so I will need to make some money on the side and hopefully save up for a new car or computer soon. Your support is appreciated regardless and I can't wait to make more art for you guys!

I’ve done something pretty amazing and now you all have to hear about it.

So @perplexedhedgehog​ gave me a mermaid wall art as a housewarming gift, which I then put on the door of my guest bathroom.  I’ve since decided to make the bathroom mermaid-themed to match.  As such, I’ve ordered some mermaid prints for the walls.

I wanted to represent the whole gamut of mermaids, so I ordered a classic mermaid, a two-tailed mermaid, and a reverse mermaid.  And of course, there’s no better reverse mermaid than René Magritte’s Collective Invention:

Simply stunning.

Last weekend, I visited my sister, who loves mermaids more than life itself.  When we were children and she dominated the VCR because she was older, she watched The Little Mermaid so many times she broke the tape.  I told her of my mermaid plans and showed her the art I’d purchased.

For some reason, she objected to the reverse mermaid.  Pretty forcefully.  But since it’s my house, I soldiered on.

Now, I wanted the reverse mermaid print to be about 5x7, but I couldn’t find it for sale online anywhere that size (or any size, for that matter).  It occurred to me that 5x7 is a standard postcard size, so I went looking for Magritte postcards.  Which I did find, but they were all things like The Treachery of Images or Son of Man, and there weren’t any of Collective Invention.

I took matters into my own hands and saved the highest quality image of the painting that I could find, and then put it on a postcard on one of those “design your own postcard” sites and placed an order.  The only catch was I had to order at least two reverse mermaid postcards, but I figured I’d find some use for the second one.

They arrived today and the second postcard’s purpose became clear.

I sent it to my sister.

But I didn’t stop there.

In a final Machiavellian masterstroke, on the postcard I wrote:

Ceci n’est pas une sirène.

Feels good, man.

PRINT OF THE MONTH.

All proceeds from these prints will go towards food, gas, supplies to create more art, and saving as much as possible towards my legal fees for transitioning costs as soon as I’m able to get them.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:

A glossy 8x10″ print of February’s themed print on high-quality Kodak photo paper. For a look at the physical sample prints, check here - please note I’m a terrible photographer and the prints are as bright as the digital file in person.

Print will be signed - by default this will be on the front, unless you ask for it to be on the back. 

A letter of thanks and general greetings, because you are appreciated as hell.

Please note that these prints will not be available past the end of February, and that I have printed a small set number of them. They will only be here until they’re either sold out or the month ends, whichever comes first - if there happens to be surplus, I’ll figure out how to handle that later

PRICING:

$12 USD. This includes shipping for all US orders. These prints cost me about five dollars each to make, and roughly another three bucks per order go towards shipping supplies and postage, so my profit isn’t much.

I am willing to ship internationally, but because of how unpredictable postage is, for international orders I will offer only the 4x6″ size. The expense for larger sizes isn’t worth it for either of us, trust me. 

If anyone would like a reduced-size print, i.e. either a 4x6″ or 5x7″ print, please feel free to contact me about it. Those would cost $5 and $7, respectively. International surcharge for the 4x6″ is an additional $1.50.

Please send payment in USD to me by PayPal or through Ko-Fi at the time you place your order. If close friends would like to mail cash as a money order payment, please inquire.

Must be comfortable giving me your mailing address and a name to send to - nicknames and pen names are fine, except with international mail. I’ve had experiences before where they will return to sender if there doesn’t appear to be a proper name.

I do have a system in place in the event your commission is lost in the mail. Typically, give it 1-2 weeks (usually mostly applicable for international, but) and if you haven’t gotten it, I’ll offer you a few options. I want to make sure you get your money’s worth. So far, no mail has been lost though!

The first one is the Fortune Teller Tier. I only have one spot left in this one!

Every two payments charged, you’ll receive three signed 5x7 prints of your choice from the Everyday Witch Tarot and Oracle deck (I’ll send you files that show every image to help you decide). This is the only place where I offer this size print. I know wall space is at a minimum for many people!

The second tier is the Tiny Collector Tier. This is limited to two spots. Have you been enjoying my mini framed paintings? This is your chance to commission your very own!

You’ll receive a unique mini framed painting after every two payments charged. They are based on a keyword/theme of your choice, and can also feature a favorite pet.
