You keep your hair did, nails did, everything did. You tell him ‘Get it for a bad bitch, spend it for a bad bitch. If you got some money, then trick on a bad bitch’. Pile 3 you a savage. Once you spend his money, you leave ‘em in the past tense (Sugar Baby)
Every time you pop out it gets scary for these hoes. You who every man’s wife fear, a thick-thighed nightmare. You the boogie-bitch, hoe, you every man’s type, yea (Scary ft. Rico Nasty)

Couldn't sleep and was bored, and kinda hate Drake so um
Drake's biggest fuckups I've caught on this beef
He loves trying to diss Kendrick for his height. Yk like a toddler would.
He tries to say Kendrick's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers was a bad album. If we're talking critical reviews, it had a Metacritic rating of 85/100, compared to Drake's highest ever rating of 79/100 for Nothing Was The Same. In fact, Kendrick's lowest Metacritic score so far has been 80/100 for Section.80, again over Drake's highest.
...and if we're talking sales or streams, well first, no one ever challenged Drake's sales compared to Kendrick. I think we all know Drake is pretty much unmatched when it comes to that. Second, if sales were a factor to determine quality of music, then holy shit "Despacito" must be an all time magnum opus like nothing anyone ever heard before lol.
Trying to call Kendrick a sellout for doing songs with Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift? Drake calling someone else a sellout? 🤡🤡🤡
The line where he said Kendrick isn't on the big three because SZA, Travis Scott and 21 Savage "got him wiped down". Okay, first, I'm pretty sure this guy thinks big three means just "the three best selling" and uhhh no not quite. And second, and most obvious, SZA? SZA isn't even a rapper, why are you trying to bring her into this? 🙄
The AI to imitate 2Pac's and Snoop's voices. A few points here. First of all, the fucking disrespect to 2Pac, what the fuck. Glad Pac's family threatened him to remove it. Second, Snoop Dogg is alive. You just used his AI voice cause you know damn well he wouldn't be caught dead doing a verse on a Kendrick diss for you. And as a third point, it's just funny you felt like you had to use AI to make a diss track. Ghostwriters weren't enough for this one ig lol.
"Taylor Made Freestyle" was all just him begging on his hands and knees for Kendrick to reply something and give him some attention. Drake took almost a month replying to Kendrick's verse on "Like That". And he's begging for a response to "Push Ups" like a week after it was leaked (and the same day it was even officially released in the first place)
He tried to say the things Kendrick would diss him with. He was mostly right but oh boy did Kendrick do so much more.
Is he a Swiftie too? Cause he wouldn't let her go for "Taylor Made". In his mind, he swears Kendrick wasn't dropping a diss cause he didn't want to interrupt Taylor Swift's album's success, which is just a funny and dumb conclusion to make.
Spends the end of that track just talking, trying to praise Taylor for "managing Kendrick's schedule". 🤡
Drake beginning "Family Matters" with an n word and then going "yeah I said it I know that you mad" really came off sounding like when 12 year olds play online and say the word to seem tough. 😂
"Always rapping like you trying to get the slaves freed". Dang so making songs that actually have substance and meaning means you wanna free slaves, okay.
About these next lines...
Kendrick said he hated the girls you fuck referring to your dumbass being a pedo and hated you trying to hook up with underage girls. Not at any point did he say anything about their color tf.
"I've been with black and white and everything that's in between" okay so all underage girls okay got it. Again that was never the point. 😐
"You the black messiah wifin' up a mixed queen" Drake seriously missed the whole entire fucking point. Kendrick never said he didn't like you for hooking up with white women, what the fuck. And again the messiah thing is just funny.
He mentioned Whitney on "Push Ups", and some gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he might have just done some wordplay about Whitney Houston being called the same as Kendrick's wife, wasn't clear enough. But these lyrics here are what made it abundantly clear he did want to try to mess with his family. I'm sorry but at this point that's not a rap beef, you intentionally tried to make it personal. Maybe you knew you never had a chance so you thought going there would make it possible to win? As if you didn't have a horrible fucking record already.
"Why you never hold your son and tell him 'say cheese'?" Maybe he doesn't want to expose him too much to the public while he raises him, decent human beings would understand that.
"We could've left the kids out of this, don't blame me" Kendrick said you don't know shit about raising a child based on information that was already abundantly public (see "The Story Of Addidon") and also based on the fact that you, despite having that child, love playing tough on IG and dropping disses using AI begging Kendrick to reply. Trying to get Kendrick's children involved is totally on you, buddy. Kendrick wasn't the one dealing with being exposed with having a child no one knew about and you wouldn't acknowledge.
He loves baselessly claiming that one of Kendrick's children isn't his. Again, baselessly, so literally just gossip lol.
And speaking of baseless stuff, he's really keeps running on his claim that Kendrick has beaten his wife. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF THIS. Like at all. In his mind, he probably thinks that since his easily provable bullshit was exposed, he'll try to invent some bs on Kendrick too to make it seem like they're both horrible people. The only piece of shit we know of in this beef is you, Drake.
Not at Kendrick but in a diss aimed at The Weeknd, Drake had to pull out his homophobic card. Disgusting. Fuck, it's so easy to dislike this guy. 🙄
Saying that Kendrick's music only "hitting hard" when Baby Keem writes on it. Is it cause he has writing credits on "N95"? He does ad libs on the song so I'm pretty sure that's why he's listed. Are the ad libs that fire? Lol
"Kendrick just opened his mouth, somebody go hand him a Grammy right now" awww he jealous bout Kendrick's Grammy's lol 🥺
He brought up Kendrick's transgender uncle, and was transphobic to try to diss Kendrick. Just plain ignorant and disgusting as hell. But of course he did. 😑🙄
Tried to blame Kendrick for 2Pac's family threatening legal action for his "Taylor Made Freestyle". Bro what you did was plain disrespectful and it was just bound to happen.
Did he really try to brag about the video leaked of him masturbating? 🤡🤡🤡
And this nonsense right here, was it cause he visited Ghana or something? He's trying to pin Kendrick as a racist? Huh?
...and follows this up with an ignorant, racist, weird ass comment dissing Michael Jackson too for no reason whatsoever. 🤡
Talking to the mirror here lol
Naming his diss track "The Heart part 6" was almost clever. Except for the fact that yk the song is fucking trash.
The first line on this song calls Kendrick "the Pulitzer Prize winner". Yeah pointing out an accolade as amazing as that one at the beginning of a diss towards him will definitely do it. 😀
Having a comment by Dave Free as the cover for the single. Is this his evidence for a kid being his? 😂
Saying you "plotted to give Kendrick information" doesn't even help you much when it's all easily believable based on your background lol.
Denying the child Kendrick is exposing him to have, again, doesn't help your case at all after Adonis.
Goes back to saying Kendrick beat his wife and one of his children is not his, again with no evidence or hint whatsoever, only to go and say he's all about "facts". 🤡
Okay so, be careful everyone, don't leave heart emojis to any child or baby post ever, cause Drake is going to think you're the father.
Why is he even bringing up Kendrick's confessions on "Mother I Sober"? How is bringing up a traumatic potential sexual abuse incident a good way to dodge your own sexual abuse allegations? And that's not even exactly what Kendrick said on the fucking song! It's just disgusting.
And then tries to ridicule Kendrick for being a victim of this. What the fuck is wrong with this mf.
Okay and this one is just cringe. He tried to spin Kendrick's jab on "Not Like Us". B sharp isn't even a thing btw. 😂😂🤡
"I'd never look twice at no teenager" there is literally video of you kissing a teenager on stage, for starters. So you just look at them once before you creep on them how does that work
"Only fucking with Whitney" ah yes the old "I'll fuck your bitch" trope very clever and original Drake
Drake believing some bullshit he saw around about Kendrick using bots to boost his view count is just hilarious. He really thinks Kenny sat down and took some time to actually do that. 😂😂
He thinks people will cancel Kendrick over his baseless battery accusations. 🤡
He ends it with another minute rant like the one he did on "Taylor Made", and starts by saying the beef was "some good exercise". Ngl it is the first time I hear Drake rap at all in a while. So yeah gotta thank Kendrick for getting Drake to actually TRY to do some good music at all. (It's not even good but yk better than whatever trash he was doing before the beef)
"Just let me know when we getting to the facts, everything in my shit is facts" *doubles down on baseless claims of battery and one of Kendrick's children not being his*
#music#kendrick lamar#drake#hip hop#rap#rap beef#fuck drake#it's okay to laugh at him y'all#he's ridiculing himself so by all means proceed#vonnie rants 😗#vonnie talks 💕

Okay would I be wrong to say that-
First of all, gojo would be an EXTREME Drake/Nicki (Meg too) fan?? Choso definitely blasts Rod Wave and XXXTentacion in the car, at home, and sometimes with his brothers. Toji is giving BIG DaBaby and Kevin Gates energy (Choso freaky ass listens to Kev too it’s just always in private😂😂) Geto is like a mix of Khalid, Tory Lanez, 6LACK, Giveon, and a lil J. Cole sprinkled in dere🤏🏽. Sukunas def giving Desiigner, King Von, Nardo Wick and mayyyybe Travis Scott…? Anything aggressive. (I would say Baby Kia but that’s the easy way out and we die like men😤) And Nanami fs listens to Miguel religiously, even before he meets usss. Also Fetty wap, T-pain, OutKast, and Akon after he meets us.
Anywayyyyy… just a thought😏 I’m dying for your opinion on thisss😫
omg yasss! you get it!!! do we share a brain cause YESSS to ALL of this!!! waiit i love u sm for this cause i have many thots when it comes to music and jjk...
I'm convinced Gojo and Drake the same people in different timelines dkhskdjahsdkjads Drake literally calls himself the 6 god.
AND THIS WAS ONE OF HIS LOGOS!!
Gojo reppin young money til the wheels fall off (and they wont cause he rich! hfjchsdkjhsk) he love him some nicki and wayne too!
This was one of the first headers I made for my blog
sidenote: Dogtooth by Tyler the creator is one of my fav gojo coded songs.
LMFAO Choso DEFINITELY bumping xxxtenacion and rod wave. Although I do think Tory's Alone at Prom album (a MASTERPIECE BTW) is super Choso coded. WAIT u got me HOWWWWLING though cause I'm picturing Choso door locked, under covers headphones on listening to Kevin Gates with a college ruled notepad taking fucking notes like "okay...feet facing the ceiling, then i put my tongue in her ass and kiss on her kitty..." (supergeneral freestyle)
Toji definitely got black air force energy so Da Baby and Kevin ALL DAYYYY. Rockstar by Da Baby reminds me of Toji so much. Workout by J. Cole and Mask off by Future. FUTURE IN GENERAL LMFAO. Fitting that Gojo is Drake and Future is Toji and they have beef now lmfaoooo. Cause I def see Toji being tight Gojo stole his bitch jfdhsdkjhaks. He also listens to Migos and 21 savage.
OTW by Khalid is like my FAV Geto coded song, you on the MONEY with that. I also think he is hella Travis Scott coded imo. Also Geto smoother than a motherfucker so yass to Giveon and also Chris Brown (like Under the Influence??? omg). I also think Geto is very The Weeknd/Abel coded cause of the self destructive/dark themes of some of his songs... like "Blinding Lights" and "Faith". OMFG so guilty pleasure headcanon is Geto is into the reggae scene in Japan (which is actually pretty big) and he loves dance hall music so he be bumpin Daddy Yankee and Sean Paul LOLOL. But then also Afrobeats in general cause he would blow your BACK OUT slow and sensual to love nawantiti by ckay fhjkadshsdk.
I can def see Sukuna bumping Desiigner and King Von! My fav Sukuna songs are "No Church in the wild" by JayZ and Kanye. Also Power by Kanye. Also I think Sukuna would bump Kendrick when he on mad time lmfaooo. Notorious Thugs by Biggie and Bone thugs is SO Sukuna. So is steady mobbin by young money tbh. "try me and ill have yo people reading eulogies" (gojo tease lmfaooo). Lmao infact wait Sukuna is Wayne and Toji is Gucci Mane on that song dhkadkahsdk.
Nanami is the one who is the hardest for me to make a playlist too but i like your ideas, I can totally see outkast being his vibe and I never thought of that before OMFG. I also think we could really influences his choices too. Idk if you like Glass Animals but Gooey gives me Nanami. So does French Montana and Swae lee "Unforgettable". Here is a screenshot of my Nanami playlist its all over the place LOL
what do you think???

Curating an aespa remix album because the S in SM stands for “sleeping on opportunities”
aespa are not only a group whose talents, incredible music and polished concepts I’ve appreciated for more than 2 years, but they were also a key in reviving my love for hard-hitting electronic music and discovering new kinds of it. A K-pop group fueling my love for entire EDM subgenres may sound absurd, however you’ll understand what I’m saying if you reassess how much potential they have off of the sound they’ve already built. Through both the fandom’s reach on wonderful producers and my own interest, I took proper deep dives into numerous genres such as hyperpop, UK garage, drum and bass, breakcore, trance and future bass, all genres that aespa have either done or would pull off perfectly. As I took my deep dives, one of the things I learned to appreciate tremendously more is remixes. When I was way younger, I had this misconception of remixes just being crappy badly mixed oontz oontz flips of songs due to the atrocities I would regularly hear on pop radios. Talented producers remodeling already high-quality tracks and showing their own stunning perspectives through their own approaches to music completely changed my mind, and I currently often find myself looking forward to how some of my beloved tunes will be reshaped. Now here I am, making a comprehensive list of my desired aespa remixes that also serves as a list of electronic producers that the girls’ A&R team need to get on their roster. (This list was roughly freestyled after @nayeonline came up with the idea of an aespa remix album, and of course I had to make them a victim of my extensive yapping at the mere thought.) Some of these I discovered through MYs, some of these are my own personal faves that the fandom may be overlooking. Enjoy observing my A&R syndrome, and let this serve YOU as a mini aespacore playlist.
Track 1: Welcome to MY World - Sega Bodega Remix
Sega Bodega is most likely my favorite producer of all time. Aside from his objective immense talent, versatility and inability to make a single track of his any less than superb, his musical style (especially recent songs) is otherworldly; his music lulls you into a higher setting. While the possibilities of the outcome of Sega Bodega producing/remixing aespa are endless, WTMW’s orchestration, harmonies and beauty go hand in hand with Sega’s work in that sense. His touch would take the song into another dimension, from an introduction story to aespa’s real world side to a guided trip all around it. It would be a Kwangya-ified but still earthly version of WTMW.
Below attached is his song Cicada, which gives a hint on what can be done with the guitars in WTMW and how the song could become more electronic and intricate.
youtube
Track 2: Next Level - Masayoshi Iimori Remix
A vast majority of the tracks with Masayoshi Iimori’s involvement give me the feel of racing around in a city with neon lights, with a mission to return to my time machine to come back from the future to the present time before it’s too late. Doesn’t this description fit Next Level like a glove? Iimori could make Next Level more punchy, which is perfect for the confidence of the Kwangya rider anthem, with his “mixed and mastered on a BlackBerry in the best way possible” sound adding to the daring, cosmic atmosphere. He definitely needs to be involved in aespa’s Japan debut and quite frankly, he’s not an unrealistic pick even for SM.
Below attached is Freedom Kingdom by 4s4ki feat. Swervy, produced by him, which is my favorite example of his frequent trance incorporation and use of gritty motor-like synths. Spoiler: this will not be Miss 4s4ki’s only appearance in this post.
youtube
Track 3: Savage - A.G. Cook Remix
In all honesty, I don’t believe this needs much elaboration. This man is considered the father of hyperpop, one of the genres aespa are the most influenced by and certainly a genre they could take more advantage of. Savage, the song that solidified aespa as experimental trendsetters in K-pop, becoming more of an outrageous banger than it already is with the A.G. Cook touch, would be a K-pop moment going down in history books.
The track attached below, produced by him, summarizes my vision for a gritty, banging dream Savage 2.0.
youtube
Track 4: Drama - umru remix
Let’s preface this with a fun fact: umru’s splice pack was put to good use in Savage, confirmed by the song’s producers and umru himself! His involvement would transform the twinkling, forceful, electric Drama into an even more hardcore anthem. The synths in the song’s chorus already catch your attention before you’re able to catch your breath after the beauty of the intro and verses, and making all the instruments hit even harder would be a move that totally suits aespa to the core.
Below attached is umru’s take on Fire Truck by SG5, which is one of my favorite productions by him and one of the most hard-hitting of his too. I recommend comparing all the remixes in this post to their respective originals to get a better sense of how these producers can change the tracks.
youtube
Track 5: I’ll Make You Cry - Iglooghost Remix
From the 8-bit synths to the sudden kicks and claps and the video game finale soundtrack vibes, I’ll Make You Cry and Iglooghost’s production go hand in hand. If I were to pick a word to describe the style of his work, without hesitation, it would be “cyber-sigilism”, and he converts it into sound like no other. I’ll Make You Cry could become more even more mystic and mellow, making aespa’s darker side visible once again. (Word to SM: this is how you expand aespa’s range instead of making an EDM-based group release country song demos.)
Below attached is Iglooghost’s take on Crybaby by ABRA, and if this is what he can do to the original Crybaby (love both and please listen to both versions), that IMYC remix would be something never seen in music, let alone K-pop. I also highly suggest checking out his own work to understand the sigilism bit better.
youtube
Track 6: Yeppi Yeppi - Giga/Reol Remix
When I first listened to Reol last March, specifically starting off with the Kinjitou album, “I have to make this woman collab with aespa one way or another” was the second thought to cross my mind. Her and Giga, the producer she works with the most frequently including on Kinjitou, have kept their high spots on the list of Japanese artists I NEED to see working with aespa ever since. Giga’s production is fun, bouncy and radiant, allowing Reol’s expressive songwriting and masterly vocals to shine. I don’t need to mention who else has top-tier production and vocals, you already know who this entire post is dedicated to. The duo, who are also some of the most well-known in Vocaloid/utaite communities, creates pure pop excellence, some of which I’m still convinced were created FOR aespa, to the point I’m genuinely surprised they’ve never mentioned our beloved girls. Reol, I know you’ve been streaming aespa’s music, don’t be shy, at least give them a follow on IG or something.
Kinjitou the title track is Yeppi Yeppi’s older sister and there’s not a single soul that can convince me otherwise. Just tap on the Youtube embed and see for yourself. These two could do WONDERS on Yeppi Yeppi itself. The even crazier instrumentals, and a Reol feature on top? A dream. I also HAVE to see an aespa-ified Kinjitou, to the point where I made a whole line distribution of how they would sing it. At this point I’m begging SM to steal my ideas verbatim. I’d still like a check though.
youtube
Track 7: Illusion - 4s4ki remix
Two scrolls through my account and you’ll immediately know I am THE aespa x 4s4ki truther. President of aes4ki nation. aes4ki priest who has converted three people so far into believers of their joint supremacy so you know it’s tried and tested. 4s4ki and aespa are musical soulmates: the mixture of cybercore and ethereal real world aesthetics and mind-blowing composition on every single song and the lyrics ranging from game/fiction themes to genuine confrontations of virtual worlds to love and sorrow and recovery and the artistry and excellent execution are some incredible traits they have in common as musicians. About Illusion specifically, well firstly I just know that 4s4ki, openly a gamer and anime nerd, would have so much fun working on a song about a virtual snake slurping up some heroines, and she’d eat up aespa’s lore in general. Second, her use of autotune somehow makes her vocals magical and she’s very unafraid to take risks when it comes to music. Illusion’s voice filters, the bass, the surreal atmosphere and that hyper-cosmic feel would be so much more elevated and outrageous with her involvement. If we can’t get a whole album produced by her (I NEED IT SO BAD) at least make this happen. Besides, it would be an incredible full-circle moment for 4s4ki herself, as she has a history of songwriting and producing for others pre-debut, and now she’d be doing it with infinitely much more confidence in her skill and vision.
Now introducing you to into the darkness, my personal fave song of hers and my most played song of 2023. Look at the album cover and listen for yourself. I swear I could praise this woman all day, but I’ll leave it at saying artists like THIS is what aespa deserve, nothing less. MYs, stop what you’re doing and listen to the Killer in Neverland album right now if you haven’t, and you will thank me later.
youtube
Track 8: Thirsty - Donatachi Remix
There are artists who just know the recipe to fun, exciting, girly yet still intriguing pop music and Donatachi is a producer who undoubtedly mastered exactly that. Thirsty already has the bubbliness and joy you could ask from a summer jam so why not double it with this remix? This would be perfect to amplify aespa’s ‘00s spy cartoon-coded colorful real world side, and Donatachi is also a perfect choice for this if you take into account his bright cartoon-avatar 3D visuals. aespa’s real world aesthetics and soundscape should definitely be utilized and expanded to truly fit how surreal their concept is.
Below attached is b2b heartbeat feat. Cowgirl Clue, demonstrating the upbeat drum patterns and euphoric feel that could also be used in a Thirsty remix.

Track 9: Trick or Trick - Safety Trance Remix
Trick or Trick is the trick-or-treat anthem MYs deserved, and a remix of it needs to maximize its spookiness while setting it apart from all the familiar creepy-ish K-pop songs. Safety Trance brings his grimy industrial genre-bending sound wherever he goes, which hits the target of creating a more experimental, haunting version of the track. Additionally, as reggaeton and dembow influences become increasingly wide-spread in K-pop, a techno-infused neoperreo take on the wave is the most fitting choice for aespa. With the lead of a prominent figure in the electronic neo-reggaeton scene, the execution of this would turn out flawless.
Below attached is his remix of Incredibly Annoying by VTSS. One of my favorite examples of his consistent style and shows how all-in Trick or Trick could possibly go.
youtube
Track 10: Better Things - Florentino Remix
You might be wondering why I chose to give Better Things yet another remix when we already have like 3 of those. Of course the existing remixes are wonderful in their own ways, and the Tropkillaz one is my personal favorite due to its blending of funk, however there’s always room for a full-on Brazilian funk Better Things mix, especially if it’s produced by Florentino. Florentino works with and often seamlessly fuses many genres I have a soft spot for as you could tell, including deconstructed club, neo-reggaeton, baile funk, jungle, breakcore and grime. With such a concoction, the summer anthem could become more distinctive and timeless than it already is.
Below is Florentino’s remix of the adored Nice To Meet You by PinkPantheress, adding in glitchy UK bass, jungle and classic funk drums and grime. The vision for the Better Things remix is crystal clear.
Now, I want to end this post by talking about fans’ wishes for aespa’s future sonic direction. I find many MYs wanting aespa to release hyperpop albums or stick to hyperpop, and while I understand that it’s the bare minimum after the horse girl harmonicas and meemaw ballads that somehow make their way into their God forsaken EPs, even this is nowhere near what’s beneficial for the group in the long-term. Again, aespa have this lingering (thankies to SM 😒) potential to be a multi-faceted EDM group and have one of, if not the, most sophisticated, one-of-a-kind discographies in all of K-pop. It is crucial for them to explore all these EDM subgenres and more instead of getting swayed by shallow trends that come and go. That’s the way to becoming a truly futuristic group that will stand the test of time.
Thank you for reading some of what I got off my chest. Show some love to Drama and Trick or Trick. Being an aespa fan is not for the faint hearted though.
#keyboard.com#aespa#why did this take sm longer than planned…#anywayyyy SM WRITE THIS ENTIRE LIST DOWN.#sega bodega#masayoshi iimori#a.g. cook#umru#iglooghost#giga#reol#4s4ki#donatachi#safety trance#florentino

Kinda makes me feel small and insignificant. Like I was the subject of a Kendrick Lamar diss track.
Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s feud — the biggest beef in recent rap history — explained
In one of the biggest beefs in recent hip-hop history, Drake and Kendrick Lamar are feuding — to the point that police were asked about their feud after a security guard was shot outside Drake’s Toronto mansion on Tuesday.
But it wasn’t always this way.
Over a decade ago, the pair collaborated on a few songs:
On Drake’s 2011 track “Buried Alive Interlude,” on Lamar’s 2012 release “Poetic Justice,” and on A$AP Rocky’s “(Expletive) ’ Problems” that same year.
That didn’t last very long.
In 2013, Pulitzer Prize winner Lamar was featured on Big Sean’s “Control,” in which he called out a slew of contemporary rappers including Drake, J. Cole, Meek Mill, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T and even Big Sean among them.
youtube
“I got love for you all, but I’m trying to murder you,” he rapped. “Trying to make sure your core fans never heard of you.”
Drake responded in a Billboard cover story, saying “I know good and well that Kendrick’s not murdering me, at all, in any platform.”
Shortly afterward, at the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards, Lamar took another jab at Drake.
Over the next few years, the rappers launched disses at each other with less frequency.
Drake had other beefs with other performers, like Meek Mill in 2015, and most infamously Pusha T in 2018, where the latter rapper dropped “The Story of Adidon,” revealing Drake is a father.
In October 2023, J. Cole perhaps accidentally reignited the beef on “First Person Shooter” with Drake.
He rapped “Love when they argue the hardest MC / Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?” referencing Lamar and Drake’s birth name, Aubrey Graham.
“We the big three like we started a league / but right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali.”
Which brings us to the current moment.
Here’s a timeline of the developments in recent weeks — it should be noted that diss tracks between rappers often include exaggerated truths and unsubstantiated rumors for dramatic effect, and that police have not said the feud led to Tuesday’s shooting.
March 22: Lamar disses Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That”
“The big three,” Lamar raps, referencing J. Cole’s boast. “It’s just big me.”
He references Drake’s 2023 album “For All the Dogs,” and also compares himself to Prince and Drake to Michael Jackson: “Prince outlived Mike Jack.”
J. Cole soon releases a response, “7 Minute Drill,” but quickly apologizes for it onstage at his Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, N.C.
April 13: Drake’s “Push Ups” leaks
Drake’s response is leaked and later premiered by DJ Akademiks.
“You ain’t in no Big Three, SZA got you wiped down, Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down,” he raps about Lamar.
It also assumed Drake takes aim at Future, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross and The Weeknd — Ross releases a response track shortly afterward.
April 24: Drake responds with a second, AI-assisted diss track, “Taylor Made Freestyle”
Drake’s second diss track used artificial intelligence technology to include verses from Tupac and Snoop Dogg, two of Lamar’s influences.
In his own verse, Drake accuses Lamar of delaying his response track because of the imminent release of Taylor Swift ‘s “The Tortured Poets Department.” (Lamar collaborated with Swift on “Bad Blood.”)
Tupac’s estate threatened to sue Drake in response, so he removed the song from his social channels.
Snoop Dogg responded to the news in a video on Instagram.
“They did what? When? How? Are you sure?” he said. “I’m going back to bed. Good night.”
April 30: Lamar hits back with a nearly six-and-a-half-minute track, “Euphoria”
This is where it gets more complicated.
Lamar’s “Euphoria” hits like an opus, unleashing a slew of allegations against Drake.
He comes after Drake’s skills as a rapper, use of AI, appearance, racial identity, and parenting.
“I got a son to raise, but I can see you know nothin’ ’bout that,” Lamar raps.
The title is a reference to the HBO series “Euphoria,” of which Drake is an executive producer.
Lamar teases that he’ll go “back-to-back” with his tracks.
May 3: Lamar drops a follow-up, “6:16 in LA”
In Lamar’s next diss, titled after a time and location like Drake is wont to do, Lamar targets the company Drizzy keeps.
“Have you ever thought that OVO was working for me? / Fake bully, I hate bullies,” he raps, referencing Drake’s record label. “You must be a terrible person / Everyone inside your team is whispering that you deserve it.”
According to Billboard, the song was produced by Sounwave and Jack Antonoff — the latter notably Swift’s longtime producer.
It also samples Al Green’s “What a Wonderful Thing Love Is,” on which one of Drake’s relatives played guitar.
youtube
May 3: Drake launches “Family Matters”
Drake hits back with a music video and a nearly eight-minute response, in which he alleges abuse and infidelity in Lamar’s relationship with his fiancee.
May 4: Lamar responds with “Meet the Grahams”
Almost immediately afterward, Lamar releases “Meet the Grahams,” which begins with the rapper addressing Drake’s son: “I’m sorry that man is your father.”
Lamar also addresses Drake’s parents, and “a baby girl,” alleging that Drake has a secret daughter.
He also labels Drake a “predator,” without elaborating.
May 4: Less than 24 hours later, Lamar drops “Not Like Us”
Hours later, Lamar doubles down, releasing “Not Like Us,” produced by DJ Mustard.
“Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young / You better not ever go to cell block one,” Lamar raps.
May 5: Drake softens his blows on “The Heart Part 6”
Referencing Lamar’s “The Heart” series, Drake drops “The Heart Part 6” in response.
In the song, which samples Aretha Franklin’s “Prove It,” Drake challenges Lamar’s allegations, doubles down on his own against him, and says that he does not have a secret daughter.
youtube
He sounds notably lethargic on the song — potentially taking a final bow with verses like, “You know, at least your fans are gettin’ some raps out of you / I’m happy I could motivate you.”

OVRKAST. SHARES NEW CARDO COLLAB EP KASTGOTWINGS – OUT NOW
Fresh off his run supporting MAVI on his headlining shadowbox tour and an appearance on Sway In The Morning that saw him freestyle with Lupe Fiasco, Oakland rapper and producer Ovrkast. has just shared his new EP KASTGOTWINGS, a seven-track joint tape with fellow production heavyweight Cardo. Marked by smooth, piano-fueled beats and pensive lyricism, KASTGOTWINGS is a sleek fusion of jazz and hip-hop from two of rap's most inspired maestros. The release follows "CUT UP", which was praised by Hypebeast, HipHopDX, Okayplayer, and BrooklynVegan, as well as recent singles "PAYMEAGRIP" and "BIPPERS JOINT".
After first making waves with his 2020 debut solo album Try Again, KASTGOTWINGS serves as the exclamation point on a career-minting run for the Oakland newcomer. He's recently collaborated with the likes of Drake ("Red Button" and "The Shoe Fits"), Earl Sweatshirt ("EL TORO COMBO MEAL"), redveil ("automatic"), and MAVI ("Chiasma" and "Reason"). Known for his work with Drake ("God's Plan"), Kendrick Lamar ("GOD."), and Travis Scott ("goosebumps"), it's also been a massive 2024 for Grammy award-winning super-producer Cardo, who has already laid key tracks for Playboi Carti, ScHoolboy Q, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, and Brent Faiyaz this year.
Hailed for his jazz-influenced, sample-based production style and meditative bars, Ovrkast. has made a name for himself as one of the new faces of Bay Area hip-hop for his thoughtful lyricism and minimalist sound. Following the aforementioned Try Again, he released six-track project RESET!in 2023, which featured "TBH!", his biggest song to date, and made a standout appearance alongside MAVI on Charlotte rapper MESSIAH!'s "silent heel" this summer. Now, Ovrkast. has teamed up with Cardo for their new collab EP KASTGOTWINGS — further solidifying him as one of the most sought-after tastemakers of his generation.

Scripting, I desperately NEED THIS
Ok ok, so inspired by a discussion in Discord with @maebh-mcinness and in conclusion I need this, we need this, DESPERATELY HAVE YOU HEARD THIS MANS VOICE.
Balam Shichiro has the best voice and I will never not be thankful for the producer’s choice in picking the VAs. It’s deep and soothing and SO
IT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR THE SONG “For the Dancing and the Dreaming” from How to Train your Dragon.
Hence, this little proposal scene and some prequel to it.
https://youtu.be/sLcrxhE_xQw (if the embed doesn’t work)
~~~
Kalego knew that Shichiro had a devi good voice. He also knew that you were extremely lucky for getting to have such a precious relationship with his best friend.
And despite any previous withholdings... he’s grown fond of you... grateful even, because it’s as if you existed just for Shichiro.
When Shichiro came to him asking to teach him the basics of singing and dancing... he couldn’t help the warmth in his chest or the softness on his face.
He knew how much you meant to Shichiro and how much Shichiro meant to you.
And FINALLY finally the two of you would have titles to match that...
Mates... Life Partners...
~~~
Despite how much Opera was tempted to tease. He would not.
Excessively at least.
Opera was called to be Shichiro’s practice partner. Nothing too extreme, just to get him used to freestyling. Any actual dancing would be up to you and Shichiro the day of.
But he wasn’t the only one who came to the call.
~~~
Shichiro knew, throughout wooing you and dating you, that you absolutely loved music. You loved to sing and to do silly little dances, and you liked to try and sing and dance with him.
Course, he was always too shy to do so, so he would just happily watch and support you.
But now...
Now he knew deep down that he needed to do this, he wanted so badly to do this.
Lets hope all those lessons with Kalego and Opera-senpai would pay off.
~~~
A gentle sun, and a gentle breeze accompanied the soft scents of the Netherworld’s finest flora, courtesy of Suzy-senpai obviously.
But as you approached...
Shichiro had asked you to meet him in the school gardens over the weekend. When you got there, you took note of a blooming hedge wall growing around an archway, sectioning off a small portion of the rest of the gardens.
Already your heart was a flutter at the sight... and you walked through, the hedge much much longer than you expected and as they shed delicate petals... enchanting...
Music starts to play.
~~~
You enter the gardens... alone as the music fades away...
But, you’re soon accompanied by a gentle whistle...
And there!
Across the way... is Shichiro.
~~~
His his face, shadowed, and his stance, nervous but once the whistler completes their melody...
He sings.
I’ll swim and sail on savage seas~...
With ne’er the fear of drowing~...
And gladly ride the waves of life~...
He kneels before you, wing base exposed...
If you will marry Me~...
No scorching sun, nor freezing cold...
Will stop-
WILL STOP ME ON MY JOUR-... NEY!
Multiple harsh sushes tells you there were more than just a few misfits in the bushes. A distinct Sabnock “Sorry!” coming from the hedge behind you.
But rolling with the punches, though his ears were much pinker, Shichiro continues....
If you will promise... me your heart...
And love-....
He’s too choked up... he can’t-!
But you can.
And Love me for Eternity!~
You stoop down and raise his head, holding his face in the palms of your hand.
My dearest one my darling dear!~
Your mighty words astound me~
But I’ve no need for mighty deeds when I feel your arms around me!~
You yank him to your feet, tears in both of your eyes, spinning like you’re drunk on love, as you wrap yourself in his arms.
But I would bring you rings of Gold!~
I’d even sing you poetry!~
And I will keep you from all HARM!~
Joyful laughter rumbles through his chest as he sweeps you off your feet, sitting you on his forearms high above the unworthy ground.
If YOU would stay beside me!~
You hop out of his arms for but a moment, coming to land on your feet in front of him. You place a hand on his chest, reassuring, playful as you continue the song, grabbing his hand at the end.
I have no use for rings of Gold!~
I care not for your poetry~ I..
only want your hand to hold-!~
I’d only want you near me!~
Hooking his arm in yours the two of you dance! Gay with joy and happier than either of you ever been! The elation contagious, drawing your colleagues and dear misfits out of hiding to spin around with you!
To love and kiss to sweetly Hold!~ (hey!)
For the dancing and the dreaming!~ (AhahAH!)
Through all life’s Sorrows and delights!~
I’ll keep your laugh beside me!~
I’ll swim and sail the savage seas with ne’er the fear of drowning!~
And Gladly ride the waves of life!~
If you would marry Me!
“-eeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I’m still goiiiiiiiiiiiing. I’m done.”
~~~
Such a fearsome and wonderful thing love is... to have taken you completely and have you willingly give all of you to another and they to you.
The joy... the elation! In the air all around... A happy trumpet playing on with the misfit’s band....
Dancing...
Having everyone here!
Was this heaven?
No, this was the netherworld.
But by his side was where you’d be...
Always.
