Here is another piece of A Fitting Reunion chapter 3. You might recognize a little piece if it if you saw my last line game post from a few days ago! Mostly horny, but I apologize in advance for the bit of a change at the end. (Still a little bit more doubt for our reader to work through, but we're almost there!)

“What’s that look for, my dear?” “What look?” “That mind-going-a-hundred-miles-a-minute look. We’re not overthinking now, are we?” “No.” It's a weak attempt at denial, and you know it. “All right, maybe a little.” “A little, she says? Just a little? Well, even if that were true, I’m afraid even a little is simply unacceptable, sweet love. Not when I’ve got you like this. Whatever shall I do with the likes of you?”

His hands shift upwards, every bit eager as they sweep along the curve of your waist, every bit assured as they cup your face. In his eyes you see your whole world spinning, and your mind continues its endless spinning along with it. “Well, darling. I suppose then I’ll just have to kiss”—a brush of his lips—“you”—so plush and perfect against yours—“senseless.” There is an urgency to the way he kisses you now, to how his tongue tastes and his teeth tease, and it makes you drunk with desire you have too long denied. You match his every insistent press against your lips, the need blooming between you escalating into a feverish frenzy. Your mind is indeed rendered senseless—but your body is awash with sensation. His mouth leaves yours, leaves you breathless and boneless, but still wanting more. And more is exactly what he gives you as he kisses a trail along your jaw. To your neck, perhaps? No, to your ear, and you giggle when he nibbles at your lobe. He whispers, "Come upstairs with me?" As if there were any chance you would say no to him now. "Yes." And yet he makes no moves to whisk you away. Instead he pulls you back into the blistering heat of his kiss, his apparent haste to have you making you doubt whether you will even make it up to his quarters at all. His every impatient touch has you envisioning how he might take you—bent over his worktable, or pushed against the dressing room wall, or laid out on the floor, anywhere, everywhere—until, oh, he is tugging loose the ties at your back. It is all suddenly a bit too much. A bit too fast. A bit too real. Is he actually truly ready for this?

So, to follow a theme I'll share an Astarion not pleased to be making fun with 😅

Still from chapter 11 of my future long fic (it's getting gigantic 🤐).

She kept her stare locked at him, waiting, but he couldn’t be so close to her. Not yet. “I really don’t like dancing, darling.” It wasn’t entirely a lie, he had enough of that when Cazador was his master, but in that moment that wasn’t the reason why he didn’t want to dance with her. “You’re such a spoilsport!” Thalion waved a disapproving hand toward him and lifted up, bowing to Raven and extending her a hand. “Do you give me the pleasure of a dance with me, my lady?” A teasing smile on his face. Prick. Raven stood still, looking at his hand, undecided. “Oh, I don’t kn—” “Lets go!” Thalion grabbed her hand from her lap and led her close to the piano. There, he spoke with the pianist, darting some teasing gazes at Astarion, who was stuck in his seat thinking in every possible way to get his revenge from that insolent half-elf.

I decided to share another WIP from my Gale x Lyra reverse isekai long fic! Gale has just appeared in Lyra's bedroom and she thinks she's lost her mind, while Gale is just trying to be a gentleman.

“Y-You’re in the United States,” you muttered, not moving from your place on the floor. “You’re on earth,” you corrected yourself quickly. Would hallucination-Gale know what that meant?  

“I know I have been very rude,” he said, coming to sit cross-legged beside you. “-bursting into your home like some wild delinquent. I apologize, sincerely. I had no idea where my experiments would land me. But, on my honor, and by the grace of the Weave, I swear to you, I am more than trustworthy enough to deserve your bestowed trust. Besides, I’m certain we are not too far away from my tower, and I will happily prove the credibility of my words over a cup of your preferred beverage."

For Iizven and Astarion, holidays are more about spending time together than elaborate gift-giving. They are traveling all of Faerûn throughout the year but for Winter Solstice they would always return to Baldur's Gate if possible. They have one little tradition though because they both have sticky fingers. 🤭 In the evening, they go out in the city separately for an hour and steal the first three things they spot that remind them of the other. It can be anything from just a small bouquet of flowers to an elaborate enchated dagger or a fancy necklace. It's not about the items themselves or their material value but about the connection to their partner or the memories they invoke. After an hour they meet on the rooftop of the Elfsong tavern to exchange their "gifts", indulge in happy memories, share a bottle of nice wine, and watch the bustling streets below and the stars above.

What are your Headcanons after the events in Baldurs Gate3 ?

After the events of the game, Ril'afae and Astarion rest a bit from their adventures before setting off for another one! Maybe one day I'll be organized enough to write a fic about my headcannons 😅

1. Who is her romance?

Astarion

2. Where do they live?

Well, technically anywhere 😂

After a short period of chilling in Baldur's Gate, they travel across Faêrun, so they once again get acquainted with tents and bedrolls, but if they can, they always opt for cozy inns.

3. Who always cleans up and decides on the furnishings?

Since they're mostly on the road, cleaning and furnishing is limited, however most of the cleaning would be from Ril, while the decorations and overall aesthetic's would be more from Astarion's standpoint.

4. Which companions do they have the most contact with?

Shadowheart and Gale.

5. Has a companion died or are they at odds?

Nobody has died, nobody’s really at odds from the original gang. Due to all the different paths, contact is pretty limited tho.

6. Where is Scratch?

He and the owlbear cub are with our favorite princess Shadowheart ❤️

7. What is their next adventure?

Ridding the Faêrun of all Bhaal and Bane cultists by Jergal's demand while Astarion thinks on whether or not he wants to walk in daylight. In the meantime, Astarion uses Polymorph Dire Raven so that he can be by Ril's side during daytime travels ❤️

This was so much fun! Here's my girl Iizven and Astarion enjoying some quality time in the snow! Having silver dragon ancestry, Iizven loves cold and snowy weather. It's her second nature. So of course she will drag poor Astarion out into the snow whenever she can. 🤭

This is such a lovely idea 🥰

Well, for Astarion and Raven, every day will be a Valentine's day when they finally get to stay together. So in my head, I envision them spending quite some time at home making up for the time lost in their past, loving and caring for each other. With the cold and snow outside, they would definitely stay at home, snuggling all day, making love next to the fireplace, whispering sweet nothings to each other until Raven would fall asleep. Astarion would linger, contemplating her while she slept and being grateful to had been gifted to live such a great love again, until he drifted to his trance, feeling his heart finally at peace.
