Sucks. Getting jostled around in a jar isn’t the most comfortable sleeping space. Go figure, right? (Glares up at Tav)

No. I’m an only child. Mom died when I was five, and Dad’s been overprotective of his only son. Heh….probably should’ve listened in hindsight…

Right after Mom died, we were grieving. Dad grieved a long, long time. He was so paranoid he’d lose me too, that he didn’t let me outside our cottage home for a year. I had to really fight hard to show him that I can be worthy of leadership, that I’m okay, and he doesn’t need to smother me. I passed all the trials and he still sees me as this defenseless child. I’m twenty-two now; I don’t need to have him breathing down my neck.

Losing my mother. How Dad sat me down, tears welled in his eyes, choking out that Mom wasn’t coming back. I felt lost…confused….angry. D-damn it….

(Glares up at the giant from inside the jar) I dunno, Tav. What IS my worst nightmare?

(still glaring, words dripping with venomous sarcasm) OH GEE, I DON’T KNOW, GUSTAV. What WOULD I tell you?

I love my dad and my village. Yeah, he can be a bit overbearing at times, but I can see why. I’m a rebellious little shit, and I caused a lot of trouble for him. And the village…I would die to protect my people. Oh Dad, I’m sorry….I hope everyone’s doing alright….

Besides not getting eaten by a giant? I did my trainings to get all my marks. I guess you can call those hobbies….? I passed my archery test for the Mark of the Snake, led a successful pack hunt for my Mark of the Wolf, and passed the fishing trial for my Mark of the Bear

Usually it’s nightmares about getting eaten alive….being abducted by this dumbass didn’t help that—H-HEY! Don’t jostle the jar!! Fucker, you did that on purpose!! I see you snickering!!

From the days of Rogue Trader (Warhammer 40k 1st Edition), the very first model of Terminator Armor is well known for its large pauldrons one can get before heading into the walker category. Affectionately known as the 'egghead' or 'pinhead', this Terminator suit is famous for its bulk, durability, and general unwieldiness - everything good and bad about Terminator armor ramped up to 11. Dreadnought cybernetic walkers could do everything it could do without taking up so much room, so it never went out of the testing phase. When the Horus Heresy came around, legions who still had their suits used them for whatever advantage they could get. There's been many discussions on what this suit is. Given popular opinion, I choose to believe it's the Saturnine Pattern of Terminator Armor.

The Saturnine requires ITF, had no morphs, is unisex, available for everyday, formal, sleep, athletic, swim, outdoor, career, and maternity. Swatched include the original 18 legions, as well as the War Hounds, Sons of Horus, Vault-Tec, Enclave, and Brotherhood of Steel with ranks from Paladin, Paladin Commander, Star Paladin, Sentinel, Seneschal, and Elder. hi! Sorry to bother--I am also graduating soon and I'm scouring my university library--I LOVED the list you made, do you have any other recommendations you wouldn't mind sharing? frankly you could throw a works cited page at me and I'd be happy

I've certainly got more papers I could recommend, though I can't claim they're all directly monster-related. My actual academic field is the history of science, with an emphasis on the early modern period and early print culture -- I just try to tie it to my other special interests however I can!

If you're interested in monster theory, I definitely recommend various readings on witchcraft and the occult as well -- there are significant links between the early modern witch trials/folkloric beliefs about witchcraft and some of our "modern" monsters like werewolves. Try:

I competed in rowing for a few years. I rowed for most of it but I also coxed quite a few races.

Zdravím, chtěla bych se z čistě vědeckých důvodů zeptat, zda přijmeš jméno Saturnin za své druhé křestní či za příjmení? S kamarádkou se nemůžeme shodnout, jestli se v knize jedná o příjmení či křestní jméno, tudíž by mne velmi zajímal tvůj názor. Mimochodem ať už je odpověď jakákoli, velmi se mi tvůj nápad líbí, máš mou podporu a předem děkuji za odpověď :)

Zdravím a děkuji za dotaz, též za podporu mého pojmenování! Moc se těším na to, až to bude možné.

Přijmu ho za své druhé křestní jméno! Jelikož vím, že můžu (je v bibli všeho matrikářstva, Jak se bude vaše dítě jmenovat od Knappové), a jelikož mi to přijde tak akorát. Přemýšlel jsem i, že bych ho přijmul za první, ale Saturnin je má nejoblíbenější kniha a seriál/film a nechci si ho nějak poškodit tím, že si to jméno přílišně "zdomácním" a pak bude divný to číst/na to koukat. Druhým jménem lidu zpravidla nikdo moc neříká, pokud si to ten člověk vyloženě nepřeje.

Že bych ho přijmul za příjmení mě v životě nenapadlo, abych se přiznal. Mám svoje příjmení rád, a ač jsem přemýšlel, že bych ho změnil, lid říkající mi "Pan ...." mě navždy přesvědčil o tom, že je správně. (Ač jsou samozřejmě příjmení lepší, Saturnin jedním z nich, a já osobně chovám velkou lásku k příjmením zdrobnělým ženského rodu (tedy Hrdlička, Konvalinka, Konvička a tak dále).) Teď ovšem díky vám polemizuji nad příjmením dvojitým. :-D Ale asi je to už trochu překombinované.

Abych se konečně dostal k vašemu hlavnímu dotazu!

Já jsem měl ohledně tohoto taky poměrně dilema, a osobně jsem se klaněl spíše k tomu, že je to jméno křestní. Když si představím, že se jmenuje Saturnin třeba Petr Janáček, přijde mi přirozenější, aby mu jeho pán, ač je to mírně neprofesionální, říkal "Petře" nežli "Janáčku", jelikož tam mi asi chybí to "Pane" předtím. Když s někým trávíte téměř každý moment všedního dne, nepřijde mi úplně šílené, aby se dostal na metu prvního jména. Ženským služkám se též většinou říká třeba 'Hedviko' a ne 'Omastková', pokud mají s panstvem dobrý vztah. (Ale to, že mu tak říkají úplně všichni, by zase poukazovalo spíše k příjmení, uznávám.) Zároveň on vypravěč obecně má pro každého nějaký 'titul', 'Doktor Vlach', 'teta Kateřina', 'slečna Barbora', a jsem za to, že Dědeček a Saturnin ho nemají, jelikož jsou mu tak blízcí, a Milouš ho nemá, protože si ho nezaslouží.

Můj osobní hlavokánon, má vnitřní pravda, který jsem pou��il i ve své fanfikci, je to, že je to obojí. Protože Saturnin je přesně ten typ člověka, co by se pojmenoval Saturnin Saturnin.

last movie i watched: inside out! i watch one movie a month cause i'm not really a big movie watcher but i still want to try and keep up this streak of watching at least one (1) every month. slowly going through my letterboxd watchlist lmao

currently reading: do sources for my thesis count? had to finish an annotated bibliography with 15 sources this week so i've just been reading for that 😭

last thing i googled: "magical grape chia pop" LMAO it's an item on neopets. i got it from the advent calendar and i wanted to sell it so i checked if it was worth any money. i was too lazy to first go to jellyneo so i just googled the item name 😭

current obsession: f1 but the season is over so i'm :( and i have to wait till the new season starts. also obsessed with puzzles i LOVE nonograms they are so fun i buy a new puzzle book every month and each one just has 49 nonograms it's great

currently working on: it's just uni stuff for me i am losing my mind. i want to draw and play more games and maybe do some fun crafts but i have no time!!!! and it sucks!!! i have to finish 3 more group projects, do 2 online exams and also finish my internship plan and wait for feedback on my thesis proposal 😭 save me please

Most of these characters were made to be used in different blogs, so my world building might not go into too much detail on anyone BESIDES FADED.

She/Her

27 years old!

A human who lives in a rundown apartment, she obsesses over movies so you would commonly find her in a small store holding a truck ton of movie CD’s and a gallon of ice cream.

ELFIE B. LAMBENT

They/Them

31 years old

A human who’s known in their small town for baking pies with their grandmother. They enjoy rock climbing and making pottery. You often find them attending to their grandmother’s vendor shop at farmer markets. Offering samples of the pies made.

HARPOON

She/They

263 years old

A skeleton monster from a horrorswap variant! She is found helping CORE in the omega timeline. They mostly enjoy training with their groups of royal guard dogs that also live in OT

She/her/they/them

lol, my sona!! Mostly used to represent me, though she is a character with a life unlike mine.

A nanny for her friends, and in a healthy relationship. You find her out and about with a hoard of kids most of the time.
