I am having such a blast in Portland! Almost completely booked and feeling thoroughly loved by my friends and family. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me with paid shoot requests and made my time here creative and lucrative. While I love working outdoors and I am really excited to start booking location shoots this spring, it's been really cool to be able switch it up tremendously to create indoors and be working in daylight studios, home studios and high-end hotels and rentals. I think it’s funny how the idea of Pim getting in a car wreck and Charlie being sad has been written on ao3 about 3 different times (and maybe more idk)

I’m not saying it’s bad I just think it’s funny as hell

I would joke and say that some fanfic writers share the same brain but I don’t think you’d want to share a brain with sassylassy if you know what I mean (short story: she’s a bad person)

I've been in this fandom since 2012 so I have to tell u a very important thing - most of the stuff has been written/posted in 2012 and most of the best stuff had been deleted throughout the years. whether it'd be due to ppl not wanting their old stuff or being embarrassed of being in The Lorax/Once-ler fandom (I think of such as a bad thing but I do understand some ppl cutting themselves off this fandom. but my critique of this fandom is not the point here). so the stuff that survived is just very little 😭

for example my fave Normaler fic and actually my fave fic of all time just.......doesn't exist on the internet anymore. there are only 10 chapters available online and Im not gonna send u them bc it ends on a terrible cliffhanger. and I'm not gonna do it to u

Bonnie Dunn passed away on January 15, 2019. She was the producer of Le Scandal, the longest-continuously-running weekly show in neo-burlesque in NYC. I last communicated with her on New Year’s Eve, when I was using a present she’d given me for my birthday, and I wanted her to know I was enjoying it. I’m so glad to hear she had her closest loved ones by her side at the end. If everyone who loved her could have been there, they would have needed an entire ward. I first saw Bonnie perform at Coney Island, and she was the first person I saw do a fan dance in the NYC neo-burlesque scene. I was in awe of her talent and style. She paid elegant tribute to burlesque’s raunchy roots, and she was beautifully authentic and fun-loving and personal as she did it. We performed together weekly in The Blue Angel, and then regularly in the few shows that existed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She was always friendly to everyone, always focused on the best aspects of community and professionalism, always excited about everyone’s accomplishments, and always interested in how they were truly doing. Bonnie was a charming, funny, supportive, generous person, one of the most loving and kind people I’ve known, who always showed her appreciation and admiration for everyone. Coattails is a Onceler/Original Character fic, in which they meet after Once's unsuccessful attempt to sell a thneed. Love it for Onceler's characterization work! It has a bittersweet ending and 4 follow up mini-fics. Good for angst munchers. Rating: Mature

Short, sweet Oncest fic where Onceler is a street musician. Rating: Teen and up

Onceler Musician AU in which Greed is a Pastor in a local church. Rating: Mature

Delves into Onceler's Biggering phase and oh boy is it brutal. I'd give it a Mature rating for sure. I love its use of various Lorax song lyrics and the amazing scene near the end. Don't let occasional spelling mistakes discourage you from reading it, 'cause overall it's really well written

This is a retelling of the Onceler's story stripped of almost all of its PG13ness. It's darker, and Thneedville here is basically a dystopia. Mature

This one is about the relationship of Onceler and Norma, from beginning to his biggering to the eventual reunion in their older years. Teen and Up

Onceler/Reader fic in which the reader is Once's assistant. Mature rating and fairly good angst!
