Mairon/Sauron:

-He was literally daddy's boy until he was 12. -He has a stuffed wolf. He's a fan of Mary Kondo. -At 17, he dyed his hair and started listening to "satin music". He was listening to anime openings. -He dreams of being an only child again. -He likes to work with his father and have his exclusive attention. -He is agnostic. He believes in higher forces. -He loved grandfather Eru very much. Until he told her he was bisexual and he took it out of the will.

Nesa: She is the baby. Literally. She doesn't do much, according to her brothers she just "annoyed mom". Everyone thought that she was part of Yavanna's menopause. She likes to pull her brothers hair.

Curumo/Saruman He is the middle brother. He is an atheist. He's closeted gay, he's afraid of how his Christian family will take him. He is the new "golden child" since Mairon had the gothic phase. It doesn't hurt to say that he's fed up. He came out of the closet at the age of 18, took out the LGTBQ+ flag and left like that on the last day of school. He returned beaten by his companions. Yvanna and Aule called an ambulance, but he asked for a lawyer. His parents supported him, but insisted that Grandpa Eru shouldn't know. Saruman agrees.

Curumo / The music of the Ainur

Since the begining Curumo has contemplated his role in the music. He had sung with Aule but the discord had swept him up in confusion until he could hear nothing else. Then in his desperation he joined in. He keeps this to himself. He tries to make sense of what it means for him to be marred like this and opposes Melkor even more fiercely. As he worries his thoughts take shapes of many colors.

Saruman being Sauron's brother/cousin/coworker/something and having similar current names is so funny to me.

Sauron definitely always found Saruman at least a little annoying, but that feels a lot sillier when Saruman def saw how Sauron was just as clumsy and awkward as everyone else when the maiar were all getting used to having a body and what they could do with it

Basically Saruman is the annoying little brother and Sauron is the arrogant older brother who acts like he didn't fall into the potato salad when he was 10

Just love how the Tolkienites agree that Mairon hated Curumo since the beginning, and Curumo was that one clingy guy who never got the hints that Mairon didn't want to be around him.

Then, a few millenia later, when Mairon thought that he would finally be separated from Curumo, he got a request to join his army by Saruman himself, and Mairon being Sauron agreed — though he still hates Curumo's guts.

What a clingy guy, Saruman.

The funniest thing about Gandalf big naturals to me is the way Saruman would have zero chill about it at all he would be so jealous about gandalf having bigger naturals because HE was supposed to be the first of the istari and doesn’t that mean his naturals should be the biggest and grandest????
