Please note that the numbers for Oliver Queen/Kara Danvers/Kara Zor-El might not be entirely correct.

The reason for that is that I made the chart before noticing that Oliver Queen/Kara Danvers and Oliver Queen/Kara Zor-El were made synonyms within the Arrow (TV 2012) and Supergirl (TV 2015) fandom but not in all other fandoms (comics, The Flash (TV)). Instead Oliver Queen/Kara Zor-El and Oliver Queen/Kara Starikova were made synonyms for the comic fandoms, Superman - All Media Types and (again?) the TV Show Arrow (2012).... I found it quite confusing because I don't know much about the Arrowverse in general (clearly). Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the excel table the charts were based on (haaaaah...) and I cannot be bothered to do it all over again.

In short: The hits you see for Oliver Queen/Kara Zoe-El/Kara Danvers are most likely related to the Arrow TV show (2012) and the TV show Supergirl (2015) only (if I understood the way the tagging for this ship is done on Ao3 correctly).

I'm on 1x12 of the flash in my rewatch and godddddd snowbarry were absolutely adorable in that episode!! why do I pick the ship that'll never happen as my otp on this show??? just like how arrow my otp was lauriver and supergirl my otp is karamel just ugh lol but idc because snowbarry are perfect and their connection and bond was so beautiful and I hate the writers for not showing it as much after S3 and I think I know why but I won't say it but every look or moment between them is just gahhhhh!!!!! Listen. Wentworth Miller doesn't like to play straight characters. He has said that he played his Earth 1 Leonard Snart as pansexual (even tho on screen we are only confirmed that Earth X Leo is gay). In the Arrowverse E1 Len only ever shows interest in Sara, a very woman-loving bisexual who is fierce and energetic and good but willing to play in the gray areas... Who else has those qualities? Barry Allen. A man who inspired Leonard, first to up his game and then to be a hero. And Wentworth Miller is very thoughtful about his characters. So I absolutely believe there was intentional attraction and maybe even love from Leonard's end toward Barry. Like the chemistry between them is unreal and stronger than it is between Len and Sara. So I think unrequited Coldflash is canon and it doesn't take much tweaking to make it two-sided in fanon lol. Just make Barry bisexual instead of Irissexual and we get there. Even Grant Gustin has said there's probably a lot more to the Coldflash relationship than we got to see. Ty for coming to my Coldflash Ted talk that is probably 9 years late at this point.

Request: over girl x make reader where Kara is pregnant and male reader can't help but soften when he sees her walking around with a swollen belly and he will just walk behind her and hold her belly so some cute soon to be daddy vibes right there and the hero's find out about the pregnancy and try to get Kara to switch sides for her babies but it doesn't work and it ends with fluff

Kara is staring down at her stomach, and she gently touches her stomach. You walked behind her and you put your arms around her stomach.

“Our baby will be here soon,” You said.

“Everything will change, Y/N,” Kara said.

You stand in front of her and she seems nervous, but she tries to hide it. You hold her hand

“Change can be a good thing for us,” You said.

“What do you mean?” Kara asked.

“We are more powerful and our baby will be strong like us,” You said.

“I like how you are thinking” Kara smiled.

She leaned in and kissed you on the lips. You start to smile and you start to kiss her back.

You and Kara are happy about having a baby soon. You and Kara are the strongest villains on earth. Many heroes are still trying to take down you and Kara but they have all failed.

You are in the nursery room, building the crib. Kara walks in and you are reading the instruction book.

“You have been in here all morning,” Kara said.

“I was organizing the closet for clothes and supplies. Now, I’m reading the book” You said.

“You could use your speed to build it faster,” Kara said.

“Let me help,” Kara said.

“Kara, you should be resting. Sit down and I will finish this” You said.

Kara tells you what to do because she starts to read the instructions. The crib came out perfect and you can't stop smiling about it. You and Kara have decorated the nursery room and the colors are dark. She starts to put a few teddy bears on the shelves that resemble villains.

The heroes found out that gave birth to twins. They Think they have a chance to convince Kara to become good. You and Kara just destroyed a building and she starts to smile.

“Why, do you always ruin my moment?” Kara asked.

“We came to talk,” Barry said.

“Why?” You asked.

“We know that you have birth, Kara. You still can become good and change for the better. You still can change” Alex said.

“Why does everyone think, they can win me over with a dumb speech” Kara said.

“They are idiots and they underestimate you,” You said.

“We don't underestimate her,” Alex said.

You used your laser vision to attack Alex, but Barry used this speed to save her. Then You start to fight Barry and Kara starts to fight Oliver and Sara. Alex tries to make her sister stop but it's not working.

“Kara, you don't have to do this. We can be like before” Alex said.

“That will never happen, Alex. I will never change back” Kara said.

Kara grabbed Alex’s neck and started to choke her. Kara picks her up and she glares at Alex. Then John Diggle went to attack Kara then Alex fell to the ground. You are fighting Barry and Oliver, you punched Barry in the stomach then you picked up Oliver and threw him towards a random building. Ray Palmer and Sara started to fight you, but Ray tried to punch you. But you grabbed his wrist and then slammed on the cement ground hard, he passed out. Then you destroyed his suit and you took off his helmet and broke it into pieces. Sara tried to kick you but Kara attacked her Sara towards the ground.

“You haven't stopped smiling since we got home,” You said.

“It felt great that we got to fight them. And seeing them begging for mercy was great. But, I’m happy right now to have some family time with you and our babies” Kara said.

You already holding your son and you gently pat his back. Then Kara picks up her son and smiles at him, she gently touches his cheek. Then he grabs her finger and you watch them bond.

“Being bad is good. You break all the rules you want and take anything you want” You said.

Your son smiled at you.

“Your father is right, being bad feels great,” Kara said.

“They will be strong like us,” You said.

“Yes, they will” Kara smiled.

She gives you a peck on the lips.

You and Kara went to the nursery room to keep spending time together. You and Kara use baby toys to play with the twins. You and Kara are smiling and keep bonding with the boys. Then you show them the Flash and Superman toys

“Why did you get that?” Kara asked.

“I’m teaching them a lesson, babe,” You said.

“Boys, they are the Flash and Superman and we don't trust them. They are called heroes and they are weak and hypocrites” You said.

“They don't know the meaning of the word hypocrite,” Kara said.

“They will know soon enough. Okay, boys, this is what we do to heroes… we break them” You said.

You snapped the toys in half and the boys giggled. You and Kara continued to play with them and you made funny faces to make them laugh.

Andrei Svechnikov: A Primer

BASICS:

Born 26 March 2000 in Barnaul, Russia

Right winger on the Carolina Hurricanes (who drafted him 2nd overall in 2018)

6’2 and 195 lbs

Andrei’s first and foremost a family oriented person. One of the most important people in his life is his brother, Evgeny. He followed Evgeny everywhere, including to Michigan in 2016, where in juniors he played for the USHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks; near Grand Rapids where Evgeny was playing for the Red Wings AHL affiliate. Svechnikov led the team in scoring and was named to the All-USHL Team and declared USHL Rookie of the Year. He then was selected first overall by the OHL’s Barrie Colts and later won the Emms Family Award as rookie of the year. After being selected 2nd overall by Carolina, he chose the number 37, the same as his brother.

On their childhood: 

“We didn’t have much money,” Evgeny said of their childhood in Siberian Russia. “We ate from the same plate. We did everything together.” “I’ve waited for this my whole life,” Andrei said, sweat still dripping. “It’s my dream. My dream came true.” “It’s huge,” Evgeny said of both the goal and their relationship. “It’s everything.” “They moved from job to job every city,” Evgeny said. “They sacrificed so much for us.” If you ask Evgeny, there was “no doubt” Andrei would make it from the time he started dominating older competition at 5 years old. Evgeny was 8 when he fostered that opinion. Clearly he was on to something. (X)

The brothers have a special handshake and Evgeny wears a bracelet Andrei gave him everyday.

In the NHL:

Andrei made NHL history being the first player to ever score a lacrosse style goal. Seen here.

And is the only player (so far) to do two successfully.

But he can do tricks off the ice too. His first few years on the Hurricanes, he enjoyed learning magic tricks. Here's one with former beat reporter Sara Civian.

Andrei is loved by many, if not most, current and former teammates, coaches, media, and more.

“I’m just proud of the kid in general,” Brind’Amour said after his first win as coach and Svechnikov’s first point. “He’s a great kid. He wants to learn and he’s got a lot to learn, but he’s going to be a great player in this league. You gotta remember how young he is, and that’s something I have to keep reminding myself. He’s just a kid, and he’s out there in the NHL and he doesn’t look out of place. We’re very fortunate to have him.”

Former Muskegon Lumberjacks GM John Vanbiesbrouck once told me he didn’t want to drop a bomb too soon, but yeah, he could see hints of Gordie Howe in a young Svechnikov. Vanbiesbrouck was more comfortable with a comparison to Todd Bertuzzi. “You know what? He’s hard to compare to anyone because there’s not a lot of guys like him,” he said after Svechnikov’s NHL debut. “Because sometimes he drives the net or sometimes he’ll see a play. He’s so multi-talented. When he drives the net — Todd Bertuzzi, one of the best net-drivers I’ve ever seen. He’s got an acute way to make plays and find lanes and shoot in place. There’s not a lot of guys like him in that way and how he can play a speed game, then a slowed-down game.”

Here's a snippet of a very heart felt interview the Svechnikov brothers gave before their first match up.

What’s his best quality as a person? Evgeny: Humble. Humble, shyness, respectful. There’s not just one word. But one thing (that) comes in my head, humble and respect(ful), of anything: parents, people around, polite. Just a good kid, man. He’s just a good kid. Andrei: I feel like he’s just a kind person — he’s always going to care about you, he’s always going to ask you if something’s wrong. He’s a culture guy. But obviously he gets a little emotional sometimes (laughter) … He’s gotta work on that a little bit, probably. When have you been the proudest of him? Evgeny: Just one thing? … That he doesn’t let himself get down, and anything happens, nothing stops him. But I think he learned that from me (laughs). And yeah, he doesn’t give up and he keeps going. Nothing bothers him, and he’s like a tractor, just keeps going, and I’m telling you, he learned that from me. Andrei: Every day, to be honest. Every day I am proud of him, to be completely honest. He’s been through a lot, there have been a lot of hard things. He was injured, now he’s here in the show. It’s going to be fun to play against him. I’m proud of him every day. Anything else you want to add about him? Evgeny: That I love him so much. He’s a great brother. Andrei: I don’t know, really — did he say anything interesting? The Athletic: He said he loves you so much and that you’re a great brother. Andrei: I love him so much, too. He is my hero.

Friends on the team:

When he first joined the Hurricanes, Andrei became good friends with Dougie Hamilton and Warren Foegele. They all lived in the same building and new to the team. The Hurricanes even made a video of them hanging out and talking about their friendship called the “Three Amigos.”

Even after both Dougie and Warren were traded to other teams, he remains good friends with them. (X)

**Fun fact: Both Dougie and Warren had to pick new numbers with their new teams. Dougie, formerly #19, picked 7, (at the time, Pavel Zacha already took #37) and Warren, formerly #13,  picked 37.

Andrei has always been good friends with alternate captain, Jordan Martinook. Taken under Marty’s wing from the start in 2018 when they both joined the team, Jordan has a pre-game tunnel tradition to scream Andrei’s last name to hype them up. Martinook will occasionally add in other players but he always exaggerates ‘Mista Svechnikov’ the most. Like another older brother figure, Martinook enjoys messing with Andrei in practice and in general.

After Dougie and Warren were traded, Andrei became closer with Martin Necas. Always good friends, they started going out to eat together more and attended the US Open Men’s Final in 2023.

With Seth Jarvis joining the team, Andrei gained the opportunity to be the "big brother" for once. Pulling pranks and messing around with Jarvy.

Another player who’s allowed Andrei the opportunity to grow as a leader on the team is Pyotr Kochetkov, fellow Russian and a goalie. The two have become good friends, Andrei acting as a guide and translator. 

Andrei loves Carolina, and Carolina loves Andrei. One of the many reasons he agreed to an eight-year, $62 million contract with the Hurricanes in 2021.

Andrei has always loved animals. He’s good with both cats and dogs, looking forward to the annual calendar photoshoot, and adopting one of his own in 2023.

Andrei has never met a penalty box he didn’t like.

“I just love that style. Just hit hard, you know?,” Svechnikov said. “I think I’m playing a hard game, and that’s why I think I’m scoring goals. I’m gonna hit, then I’m gonna go to the offensive zone and someone’s going to give it to me and then I try and shoot it into the net. Good tries for me. I love that style of play.” (X)

He made the 2023 All Star Game, winning the Fastest Skater competition. The first person he called after was his brother.

He suffered a tear in his left ACL a couple months later, and missed the rest of the season and playoffs. However, he had fun sounding the siren and joining his good friends in the broadcast booth. He had a successful surgery and is recovering well, hoping to start the 2023-2024 season on the right foot.

More Than He Bargained For Part 7

A/N: Hellooo from the ether here of trying to come back from a bad time. I've been wanting to come back to this for a month now after almost a year hiatus and here it finally is! Hope you all enjoy this!

"That's what I said."

You glanced back and forth between Rory and Professor Stein, feeling a sense of bewilderment and uncertainty wash over you.

Anachronism?

Sara seemed to have read your mind. "Lately we've been dealing with anachronisms," she let out a tired sigh, "It's people and things displaced throughout time."

Oh great.

This day just kept getting better and better.

Iris scowled, already annoyed, as she asked, "OK but why would Nazis from 1945 want to crash my wedding?"

Sarah blew a frustrated breath through her lips and shrugged. Who knows?

Rory, on the other hand, regarded Iris with a serious expression. "Crab legs," he said with mischievous smile, "they were absolutely delicious." Iris rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile and you giggled.

Alex glanced up thoughtfully, "Iris has a point, though," she began to walk in the middle of the room trying to piece together what little information they had, "If they were out of time, they would've targeted the military or law enforcement."

You nodded in agreement, recognizing the logic in it. After all, most troublemakers were drawn to places where they could obtain something valuable in return, rather than a random wedding.

"Tommy was plucked five years ago and put into Prometheus Wardrobe?" Felicity asked skeptically. "That doesn't make any sense."

None of this made any sense. You glanced over to the other side of the room at Harry who had seemingly zoned off.

"It does if we're not dealing with anachronisms," Caitlyn chimed in.

That could only mean one thing.

"Visitors from another Earth?" You and Barry asked in unison.

"Jinx," you said out of habit and Barry gave you a goofy smile.

Jefferson appeared puzzled as he looked at the two of you. "Woah. There are more than one?"

Kara nodded as she crossed her arms. "There are 52, actually."

Wonderful. You knew there were more Earths out there, Harry had mentioned a thing or two before but 52? That was a lot to grasp.

With an exasperated sigh, Professor Stein paused briefly before speaking: "Though I'm hard pressed to think of one where Nazi are ascendant."

"I can."

You jumped, not realizing Harry had moved right next to you and was now leaning on the door frame. He offered you a sheepish smile. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you."

You felt your cheeks flush as you struggled to process the fact that he was standing so close to you. "It's okay."

He lifted his gaze back to the rest of the room, his gentle smile replaced with an expression of seriousness. "There's a 53rd Earth," he paused, "It's called Earth-X."

As you watched the video on the screen, your eyes widened in disbelief. You couldn't wrap your head around what you were seeing - an alternate reality where the Nazis had emerged victorious, and the world was engulfed in darkness and despair. The scale of devastation was almost too much to bear as you looked away. Harry noticed your uneasiness and gently placed a hand on your shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. You turned to look at him, and as your eyes met, he gave you a small, reassuring smile.

"It doesn't have a designation," he waited until everyone had looked away from the screen before speaking again, knowing that they needed a moment to process what they had just seen, "It's a place so awful, so horrific, no sane person would ever travel there." His hand left your shoulder and found its way to yours, fingers lightly brushing against each other. You laced your hand with his as he continued to speak. "It's basically our Earth- same history, same timeline- with one crucial and critical difference."

"So let me hypothesize," Professor Stein sighing before continuing, "The Nazis developed the atomic bomb before the United States did, and they were more than happy to use it."

Harry gave your hand a squeeze, "Yes. The Nazis won the war, and New York, London, Moscow Paris- all obliterated." He let go of your hand as he used them to explain. "The SS set up outposts not only throughout Europe but also throughout the Americas and Hitler continued his brutal reign, aided by Prime Ministers and Presidents sympathetic to him until his death in 1994."

"Now they're not just happy ruling one Earth," you heard Felicity said but your focus had shifted back to Harry who's hand had rejoined it place with yours and he was intently listening to Felicity. His cheeks were still tinted red, whether from you or the long winded talked he had just given, and he had loosened up his suit, unbuttoning the two top buttons of his dress shirt. Only he could still look good even whe-

Kara's urgent voice shattered your thoughts, "We have to find them!" Harry caught your gaze, arching an eyebrow when he realized you hadn't been paying attention. Your flushed cheeks and widened eyes betrayed where your focus had really been. He gave you a cheeky smile and you looked away, embarrassed. How could have been doing, whatever that was, instead of listening to how the hell you were going to take down the freaking Nazis that had just invaded this Earth?

You shook your head, as if to banish the inappropriate thought that had just occupied your mind. Barry's determined voice cut through your thoughts, "Let's get to work on finding our new friends from Earth X." With a deep breath, you and Harry locked eyes, silently agreeing to set aside any distractions and focus on the mission at hand. You both nodded, ready to track down these scumbags.
