Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds Episode 12 Review - An Ayakastic Finale

It’s the finale! What are my thoughts on how everything ended? To be honest, I think it was a good wrap-up to everything; it’s not great, but good enough for it to resolve everything and have good conclusions for the main characters.

Jingi’s revival was predictable, but my gripe with it is that he still retains that flippant, lackadaisical attitude; then again, seeing Jingi behaving like an adult would be out of character for him. I did like that he did realize that he appreciated living and wanted to keep on living more when he was in the Ley world. Despite that, I think the revival was treated in a comical manner because Inou was flipping out while Momoko was way too chill.

Haruaki and Aka are finally able to make amends with themselves and each other over the guilt from ten years ago. They cooperated and that led them to finding Yukito and Jingi, and taking them out of the world. It was as if they finally made peace with each other and finally moved on. Heck, the ordeal calmed Aka down so much that he’s seen using regular Ley spells for Ara-Mitama purging and not dark magic in the epilogue. That’s development right there.

Yukito is finally able to accept himself as himself now. It was very evident that Yukito’s entire arc was coming to terms with accepting himself and maturing. He didn’t remember anything from living on the island and had no friends; he chose to avoid people after hurting someone in the past. Spending time on the island made him realize that he likes the Ayaka Islands and wants to protect it. Learning that he is the water dragon and going in to save Jingi by his own volition gave him the courage to finally accept himself. I think the meeting he had with his father also helped shape who he decides to become because he spent most of the show wondering about his father and such. He wasn’t particularly attached to him because he barely knew him, so the small bonding time they had helped Yukito open up to him.

Makoto seems like the “good” mastermind behind everything. While he is truly dead, he’s the reason why Jingi’s soul hasn’t completely disappeared into the Ley energy. He’s also the reason why Yukito was separated from the island so that he’d see himself as more of a human rather than a dragon. He has been chilling in the Ley energy for the past decade in order to pacify the fire dragon before it rampages. It’s unfortunate that we only learn about Makoto for two episodes, Episode 7 and 12. I’d like to learn more about him as he only feels like plot device in a way. I do find it amusing that he and Jingi have the exact same personality with their habit of not communicating well.

I think the epilogue of Yukito going to school on the First Island with his friends is such a touching ending. It’s what he deserves after years of loneliness. The whole portion is also good closure for everyone. While Ara-Mitama still lurk about, the way they’re pacified by Ayaka Security is more peaceful. The fire dragon is also at peace as Yukito promises that he’ll come back in the future.

Overall, this anime was a decent watch. Compared to K, It’s a lot weaker for GORA’s comeback show. I think it’s rather straightforward and that’s a good thing. It doesn’t divert too much from the main plot and I think that’s a good thing. The characters are a bit simplistic too, but they work. The main characters are the ones that grew a lot and it showed from beginning to end. Though, due to time constraint, some things have to be rushed like Jingi still behaving like he usually does after resurrection. For a small cast, they did a good job giving a good amount of screen time to each character; though, I do wish Mayor Inou was utilized a bit more. To be honest, this is one of those niche anime that isn’t too recommendable, but still watchable. I’ll be anticipating GORA’s next work, though. What are your thoughts on this anime as a whole?

Zosan: Late Night Birthday Special

Here it is. Zoro's birthday special. I set this in the AU I have created. Zoro gets a visit from a certain blondie. Just read on and see what I am talking about. Warning: Sexual content.

Zoro sighs as he walks into his swanky condo in Manhattan. Sure, today was his birthday but he purposely ignored all the birthday greetings from the others. Perhaps getting gunned down weeks ago might have made him a little too paranoid.

At first, he suspected Sukuna his rival, sort of friend, and Sanji's ex-lover. But after some investigation, Sukuna was found innocent of all crimes even though he had enough motive to do it as the bastard used to obsess over Sanji and almost killed him on more than one occasion.

As he enters the living room, he sees Sanji lying on the sofa in a seductive manner, dressed in a wine suit. His heart starts pounding. Some things sure do not change.

"Hello Marimo" he says, a playful smirk in place. The way the blonde says that childhood nickname of his often does things to him. Zoro gives him a curt nod, a ghost of a smile tugging at his lips. "Hi Curly."

Sanji slowly gets off the sofa and makes his way towards him. Once Sanji gets close to him, he traces his fingers across his chest, causing shivers to go down Zoro's spine. After all these years, Sanji still held that level of power over him.

Ever since that Sukuna incident that happened five years ago, the couple kept their distance, trying to pick up the pieces of their life. Same applies to the rest of the gang as well.

"You actually came back." Sanji giggles. "I could not stay away for that long darling. Besides, everyone needed that break to you know, recoup from all the drama and b.s. I mean, we were all a bunch of fucking kids. What do kids know?"

Zoro chuckles at that one. He had a point. "That's what happens when you give kids that much power and fame. It can intoxicate you." Sanji grins and wraps his arms around his ex's neck. "A little birdie told me that you do not want to celebrate your birthday."

Zoro sighed. "Yeah. After that shooting, I was not excited." Sanji then leans closer to his ear and whispers, "How about I change all that?" He then proceeds to slowly rub Zoro's crotch. The green-haired heir had to bite his lip. God he missed Sanji and this was one of the reasons why.

"What's the plan babe?"

Sanji smirked. "Glad you asked."

A couple minutes later, the couple are in the limo with their friends. Sanji managed to call the rest of the gang. Not their old friends but rather the new ones they made.

"Hold up?! How did these two end up together?!" Zoro exclaimed, pointing at Gojo and Nami. "Thank Sanji for that." says Gojo. Zoro stares at Sanji who smirks. "Well, how it happened is that Gojo here helped me pay for my dinner after my date stood me up. Sanji heard about that and called him and encouraged him to take me out for a bar date. The rest is history." says Nami as she sips some champagne. Gojo grins and wraps his arms around his new beau. "Best decision ever."

"Who would have thought that the great Gojo could mellow out like this?" says Zoro. "Still the same old Gee. Just a different flavour." says Gojo.

"Heard Usopp got engaged." says Eren. "What?!" Sanji's jaw dropped. "About time tbh." Zoro laughs. Mary flashes the 15 carat diamond ring. "Wooh!! Look at that bling!!" says Sanji. "Usopp got taste." says Gojo, chuckling. Usopp shrugs. "Anything for my princess." he says, kissing Mary on the cheek.

"What about you Luffy? Congrats on that Hollywood Star." says Sanji. The gang applauds Luffy who chuckles. "Thank you!! Thank you!! Much appreciated." says Luffy.

"Do not compliment him too much. His brain might explode." Sabo jokes. "Pfft...like you are one to talk." Everyone laughs. "Don't mind him." says Ace. "He was a sobbing mess that day though," says Shanks. "Who wouldn't be? Like that is a fucking huge honor," says Sanji .

It was great to see the entire gang back together. The last time this happened was 5 years ago and there was a lot of drama then thanks to the old crowd

"He got a point man." says Franky who is smoking a cigarette. "How about a toast ladies and gents?" Sanji suggest. Everyone grabs their glass and toasts to Zoro who grins at Sanji and then leans closer to him and whispers in his ear, "Thanks for this babe." Sanji smirks. "Anything for you my love." With that, the duo seal it with a kiss. "Aww." the girls all cooed. "Took them both long enough." Gojo jokes. Everyone laughs. Zoro smirks. Tonight was going to be a long night.

After hours of nonstop clubbing and partying, everyone heads home. "I cannot remember the last time we have had this much fun together." says Zoro as he and Sanji walk back into his condo.

"This is why I arranged all this for you Daddy." Hearing Sanji call him Daddy after all these years was enough to work wonders on his ever growing bulge. Without hesitation, Zoro pulls Sanji closer and begins to kiss those lips of his hungrily.

Sanji obliges him in kind, letting out a moan in response. "God I fucking miss you!!" The two start stripping and throwing their clothes around as they make a race to the bedroom.

Sanji gets on all fours on the bed and wiggles his ass. "Come get me big boy." Zoro chuckled and proceeds to lick and eat out Sanji's ass, earning more moans from the blonde.

He could have kept at it til Sanji came on the sheets but he would rather have his dick in that ass and fuck him senseless. Grabbing the lube from the bedside drawer, he pours some on his dick.

Once he was satisfied, he pushes his bulge into his lover who lets out a loud gasp. "F-Fuck...."

"Damn you are as tight as ever!!" He then begins to fuck the living daylights of Sanji who is reduced to a screaming, moaning mess. Normally, he owuld take it nice and slow but he knows Sanji well enough to know how impatient the blonde can get.

He keeps on going, trying to find that spot that he knows would drive Sanji crazy.

Zoro smirks and proceeds to keep on hitting that spot. Eventually, Sanji cums screaming his lover's name. Zoro follows suit and moans cumming hard into Sanji.

Once they were done, Zoro pulls out out of his lover and lies down on the bed. Sanji crawls towards him and liesdown next to him and cuddles him.

"Happy birthday Daddy." says Sanji. Zoro smiles and kisses Sanji on the forehead. "I owe you one babe." Best present ever.

Before reading this story! I will have a few OCs introduced for my One Piece fanfics! My first one is Sheik! (Not Sheik from the Legend of Zelda lol! She has her red eyes because I think it looks so cool and would be cool to see a One Piece character with red eyes as their natural eye color!{except Imu} But her name for short is Sheilah. She goes by Sheik since she has a tomboy personality and you will understand why when I write about her one day. I imagined her years ago when I started watching the series, and I was new to OCs. I was addicted to crossover fanfics so maybe that's why. But I cross that out now with new ideas as I am back to writing fanfics of One Piece.) She is the sworn younger sister to Ace, Luffy, and Sabo! I mean come on! The ASL brothers having a little sister would be so cute! Then my next one is Kiara! She is the love interest to Sanji who came with Sheik to have an adventure and to be close to Sanji. (She ain't a yandere, and Sanji likes her back. You know our cook. Sanji deverses a girl tbh.) If you are curious what she looks like, she has long ash brown hair and blue eyes. To imagine what their voices sound like, Sheik's voice will be Megumi Hayashibara from the Japanese audio and Jamie Marchi for the English dub. For Kiara, her voice will be Kikue Inoue from the Japanese audio and Laura Bailey for the English dub. Also I will have our favorite princess Vivi in this as an official Straw Hat because why not! Also I ship her with Luffy because they look cute together. My opinion who I want to ship and people love to ship Nami with any guy or girl. (except the worst characters and god no not underage characters. Not even Nojiko well she is older than her but that's her adoptive sister! I can't stand even pseudo incest even with Luffy and Ace.) I chose Ace with her because that man is a hell yeah. ANYWAYS ENJOY THE STORY!

Day 1

“Ah!” Nami sighed tiredly as she stretched her arms out while she was working on a new location on her map at her desk. “I think that’s enough for today.” Nami said to herself as she put her pen down. She decided to work in her room instead of her desk at the library today if she wanted to take a nap later since she was on the lookout last night.

“Yo.” Her crewmate/boyfriend Ace said as walks into their room. “Ah! Ace!” Nami smiles happily as her boyfriend walks into their room, closes the door, and locks it behind him. He smiled at her happy reaction. “I was only gone for like 2 hours, and you are acting like you haven’t seen me in a week.” Ace said as he walks over to his girlfriend. “It felt like it.” Nami said as her boyfriend wrapped his arms around her from behind.

“Maybe that’s what happens when you work too much.” He said as he then kissed her on her cheek. “Where were you at?” Nami asked. “Oh, Zoro and I were working out, and Franky helped me fix my Striker’s engine.” Ace said. “Sokka.” Nami said. “And you?” He asks while he kisses the tip of her nose, causing her to giggle. “Adding a few new locations we visited on the map that I’m working on.” Nami said as she took her glasses off before setting them on her desk. “Oh, let me see.” Ace smiled as he looked over his girlfriend’s shoulder to see the map she’d been working on.

“Oh sugoi. This is really going to be the greatest map the entire world will see.” He smiled. “Hontoni?” Nami asked while kissing his cheek. “But, you are missing one location…” Ace said. “Ehhh? What are you talking about?” Nami asked, all confused. “The location you are missing is…Bed-land!” Ace exclaimed as he picked his girlfriend up in a bridal style from her chair, causing her to squeal and giggle as her boyfriend took her to their bed. He drops her gently on top of the bed, causing her to bounce slightly on it. It wasn’t long before Ace joined by crawling on the bed to be on top of his girlfriend.

“And the adventure to bed-land continues.” He said seductively. The orange-haired navigator smiled seductively at her boyfriend, who was smirking before she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a deep, passionate kiss on the lips. The Fire Fist Pirate wraps his arms around her waist while still kissing his girlfriend. Nami then wrapped her legs around his waist as she was now in a tongue-dominant battle with Ace. Nami interrupts the battle as she chuckles seductively before she rolls her boyfriend over to be on his back on top of the bed. She smirked as she was now on top, straddling her boyfriend’s waist.

“Oi oi. Seems like you want to top me that bad.” Ace smirked. “You have a problem with that hot stuff?” Nami asked seductively. He chuckled seductively as he admired his girlfriend on top of him. As he felt hard against his sweatpants, poking against the crotch of her shorts. “Did I ever have a problem with it ever since we have been together, kitten?” He asked seductively as he placed his hands on her butt before groping them. Nami smirked before slowly lifting her t-shirt. Ace smirks as he sees her orange lacey bra peeking under her shirt as she was-

“WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU SHITTY COOK?!” “DO I HAVE TO REPEAT IT?!??! YOU IDIOTIC MOSS HEAD!!!” Nami stops midway through, taking her shirt off as she hears the usual outside their room in the hallways. Nami’s and Ace’s facial expressions changed to be annoyed at the scene. “Really?” They both grunted, annoyed at what was happening that interrupted their moment together.

“WAIT YOU TWO SHOULDN’T FIGHT IN THE HALLWAY!!!!” They heard Usopp’s voice outside the hallway. The couple were hoping that they would listen to Usopp. “GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!” No luck before they could hear the chef and the swordsman of the ship beating each other up. “Those guys…” Nami snarled as she was this close to getting up and smacking the boys’ asses for interrupting her time with her boyfriend. “I will join-“Ace paused as he heard the fighting stop all of a sudden. “They stopped?” Nami asked, all confused and surprised at the same time. They flinched as they heard another fight outside of their room.

“SHUT THE HELL UP YOU TWO!” Ace and Nami recognized that voice. It was Ace’s sworn little sister, “Pirate Warrior” Sheik. “I’M TRYING TO HAVE A NAP AND YOU TWO HAVE TO DO IT OUTSIDE OUR ROOMS WHILE WE ARE TRYING TO RELAX AFTER A LONG DAY!! I EVEN CAN’T STAND YOU TWO WHO ARE PLAYING LIKE DUMBASS CHILDREN EVEN WHEN IM NOT NAPPING! IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN I WILL THROW YOUR ASSES AT A STRANDED ISLAND FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!” It was then quiet after Sheik slammed the door shut to her bedroom.

The couple stood there quietly to know what was going to happen next. “It’s finally over.” Ace sighed relieved. “Ah, thank goodness.” Nami sighed with relief. “I’d rather have my sister put us in that stranded island.” Ace said. “You tell me. I can find us one right now.” Nami said. Ace smirks at her. “Look for one later after we have some fun.” Ace said seductively as he groped her ass again. Nami smirked as well. She began to take off her t-shirt entirely before throwing it somewhere in the room. Ace admires her in her orange lace bra, which comes in a set that he got for her from their travels.

“Is there more?” he asked as his hands moved to the button and zipper of her shorts. He unbuttons them before unzipping them and sliding them down, revealing her matching orange lace underwear. He smirked seductively before he looked up at his girlfriend, who had the same look on her face as him. Ace is very lucky to see her panties, which Brook said when the couple started going out.

“Look all you want. But it won’t be long.” She said seductively as she leaned down, grabbed the bottom trim of his tank top, and slowly lifted it, revealing his abs along with the scar on the center of his chest that he had gotten from the Marineford war. Ace smirked before hers crashed his lips. He then began to make his hand go to the back of her bra before unclipping it as he was now on top of her again, and his top was now off.

Day 2

Nami giggles with Sheik, Kiara, and Vivi while walking back on the Sunny after they shopped in town. Usually, Robin would join them, but she was with Chopper shopping for books. “I’m gonna show Luffy what I got. Also, I’m gonna give Karoo his bath.” Vivi smiled happily. “I will see you girls at dinner.” Vivi said as she walked away. “Yeah!” The girls both said at the same time. “I will take my leave, but I have to wash up early because I want to help Sanji with dinner.” Kiara said as she began to walk away. “Quite alright. See you at dinner, Kiara!” Nami smiled. “Oi Kiara! Tell that boyfriend of yours to have his arguments with Zoro somewhere else that isn’t outside our rooms!” Sheik said. “I will tell him that!!” Kiara agreed before walking off.

“Also, before I write to Arua and go do training with Zoro, then wash up for dinner…” Sheik said as she saw Ace lying on the grass near the ship’s pillar with his hands behind his head and his hat on top of his face, along with his legs crossed. “Time for my daily routines as a sister to annoy her brother before his girlfriend, aka my future sister-in-law, sees him.” Sheik said with a teasing smirk. Nami giggled happily under her breath when Sheik called her future sister-in-law. She does that to Vivi since she is dating Sheik’s and Ace’s sworn brother Luffy and Kiara since Sheik is dating Kiara’s brother Arua, who’s a doctor in the Revolutionary Army. The girls have been like sisters to each other for a long time while sailing the seas together.

The Pirate Warrior arrives before Fire Fist, who is sleeping peacefully. Nami watches from a small distance. “Oi. Are you alive?” Sheik asked as she nudged her foot against Ace’s hip. The dark hair took his hat off of his face, and he looked at his sister with an annoyed expression yet with a pout. “I’m still alive. The hell you want?” He asked with a yawn. “Nothing just wanted to annoy you for fun.” Sheik teasingly smirks. He rolls his eyes at that response. “Of course you do.” Ace said. Sheik giggles devilishly before her brother just smiles. He chuckles as he then elbows her ankle as payback. “Oi oi.” She said while laughing and trying to keep her balance.

“Alright, you sneaking ass rascal, let me be in peace before my lady comes.” He said while he put his hat back on his face and got back to his comfortable position. “Yeah.” Sheik said. She looks at Nami, who is smiling throughout the whole thing. “All yours.” Sheik mouthed it out before walking away with a smile.

Nami smiles as she walks over to her boyfriend. She arrives before him and sets her shopping bag down on the ground. She smirks as she gets on top of him by straddling him yet quietly. “Do I get my hello kiss from my boyfriend after his girlfriend was shopping all day with the girls?” The Cat Burglar asked as she moved his hat out of his face. Ace wakes up to see his girlfriend on top of him. He smirks to see her in this position. “Never said you can never have one.” He said as he sat up before he leaned up to give her a chaste kiss on the lips.

“Is this what you have been doing all day while I was shopping with the girls?” she asked as she tucked a strand of his dark hair behind his ear. “Well, the boys and I hit town as well to go eat somewhere, and Sanji had to get a few things for dinner. So we got here early so Sanji could do preparations for tonight’s dinner.” Ace said. “Sokka.” Nami said.

“And you? Seems like you have fun.” He said with a seductive smile as he looked at her new top, which was a baby pink halter bikini top with small white flowers on it. “I did. Café first and shop. But when the girls were distracted, I did my usual Cat Burglar business on a few nobles.” Nami smirked as she held up a golden ring with a family crest on it, which she grabbed out of the pocket of her pants. Ace chuckles at his girlfriend’s actions.

“Still your old self, and that’s one of my favorite things about you. Sneaky and sexy at the same time.” The dark hair pirate said as he placed his hand on her lower back and his other hand on her bikini. He places his pointer finger on the front of her bikini before he slightly pulls it down, having her cleavage be revealed…a bit more.

Nami smirks at her boyfriend’s actions. “Easy there hot stuff. We aren’t in the room yet.” She said as she grabbed her boyfriend’s chin to have him look up at her. The dark-haired pirate smirks again as he stares at his orange-haired partner. “Can’t be sneaky and sexy with my girl?” He said seductively. Nami chuckles as she wraps her arms around his neck. “Well-“

Nami sniffed her nose as a weird smell came in. “What’s that smell?” she asked. Ace sniffed his nose to smell the weird scent. “It smells like…OH GOD!!” Nami yelled out disgustingly as she covered her nose. “What the!!” Ace yelled before he coughed rapidly. The smell was now horrible, and it came into his lungs.

“What the hell is that coming from?” Nami asked while she was covering her nose. “I swear to God, if Luffy grabbed some meat out of the garbage again, his ass is mine.” Ace said while covering his nose and his hat. “How does even Vivi kiss him if he eats that from the garbage?” Nami asked while covering her nose. “Who knows.” He said.

“Yosh yosh, perfect to get rid of the pesky insects to help my Pop Greens grow for the next battle.” A familiar voice was heard somewhere outside. “Not again…” Nami said, annoyed, as she realized who it was. The Strawhats sniper was up in the garden patio using a spray to keep away the bugs from his plants, yet he smelled really bad.

“Oi Usopp! Do you have a less smelly spray that isn’t killing our noses?” Nami asked, all annoyed. “Oi oi! I didn’t create this stuff, and even when I try to wear my face mask, it still bugs me.” Usopp yelled as he stopped what he was doing and looked at his friends from the patio. “Makes sens-!” Ace was interrupted by a tremendous noise that caused the ship to shake, to the three pirates’ surprise, and also caused them to bounce a bit but land back in their place.

“What the?!?!!” Nami asked, all surprised. “Ahhhh!!!!!!! Shit!!!!!!!!! I DIDN’T EXPECT IT TO BLOW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Usopp yelled out as he ran into his Factory. The couple stood there dumbfounded at what just happened.

“The hell just happened?” Ace asked. “Don’t know and don’t care.” Nami said. “Good point.” He said as he looked at his girlfriend’s chest. He smirks at it as he remembers earlier when the ship rocked, causing her breasts to bounce. “Nani?” Nami asked her boyfriend, who wasn’t saying anything. “Hmmm.” Ace grumbled as he was reading a book. “What’s wrong?” His girlfriend asked who was sitting on the floor next to him while picking her fresh tangerines and putting them in a basket. “Call me a dumbass, but this book that Robin recommended to me…this story doesn’t make me any sense.” Her boyfriend said. The couple decided to hang out outside by Nami’s tangerine tree since it was a lovely day outside.

“But tell me what on Earth you are reading that doesn’t make sense to you.” She said as she took her gloves off. “The whole thing.” Ace said as he closed the book, but he didn’t care. He lost his place if it didn’t make any sense to him before he handed it to his girlfriend. Nami examines the title, and it was called ‘Lost Heart in the Bottom of the Sea’. She chuckles as she remembers reading this book before. It is a romance story, and of course, she finished that book.

“Did she recommend it to you so you can say cheesy lines from that book to make me swoon but will make me laugh my ass off instead?” She asked as she set the book down on the floor. Ace pouts and realizes that might be true. “Seems like it and the love lines are cringeworthy.” He answered.

Nami just laughed at her boyfriend’s answer. “I thought she gave me that book to impress you since you read it.” Ace said. “How is that gonna impress me? You have already impressed me ever since we met.” Nami said as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “Oh really? How did I do it?” He asked with a smirk as he pulled his girlfriend into his lap, causing her to giggle. “I’m not telling you.” She teased. “Oh, you like to play it that way, eh?” He smirked as he dipped her while he began to attack her neck with kisses. “No, ah!! Ah ha ha ha!!!” She squealed as her boyfriend kissed her neck. He stops as he begins to chuckle against the crook of her neck.

He lifts his head up to look at his girlfriend, who is now smiling at him. Ace admires how beautiful Nami is. Really beautiful. The ship’s archeologist, Nico Robin, comes in as she is giggling. “Ah gomen ne Chopper. I didn’t mean to give you a fright, but you picked a hard hiding spot to find you at.” Robin says. “What happened?” Ace asks. “Robin used her powers to find me while we were playing hide-and-seek, and this technique she used was terrifying!!” Chopper cries. “How?” The couple asks.

“Like this.” Robin said. “DON’T LOOK!!!!” Chopper cried. The couple looked at the other side before their faces turned white as they saw an eye on the wall. “GGGGYYYYAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!” Nami yelled as she held on to her boyfriend tightly. “W-W-W-WHAT THE FUCK?!?!” Ace yelled out in shock before the eye disappeared. “Gomen ne gomen ne.” Robin said. “WHY ARE YOU SO INTO CREEPY THINGS?!?!” Nami cried as she held on to her boyfriend tight. Robin chuckles. “I’m guessing it’s just her thing.” Ace said while still creeped out and holding on to his girlfriend.

“Oh by the way Ace, how’s the book going that I gave you?” The archeologist asked as she changed the subject. “Take it back. I think cheesy romance novels aren’t my thing and didn’t get it.” Ace said as he was in a calm state. He picked the book up and handed it to Robin, who used her devil fruit powers to grab the book.

Robin just chuckles at how he describes the book as she holds it. “Sokka. I will leave you two alone. Hey Chopper, how about a game of checkers with tea and sandwiches before we wash up?” Robin asks. “Yeah!” Chopper exclaims happily as he walks away, leaving Robin and the couple alone.

“What’s up with that girl?” Nami asked about her friend. “Well you know her better than me. But as I got to know her more, she’s clever but has quite a mysterious mind.” Ace said. “Yeah.” Nami agreed with her boyfriend.

“But enough of that. Do I get a kiss still?” Ace asked while he looked at his girlfriend. Nami chuckled softly as she looked at her boyfriend, who was lovingly smiling at her.

Day 4

“Hurry up!” the navigator whispered as she dragged her boyfriend to the ship’s bathroom by hand. “I’m coming, I’m coming.” Ace told his girlfriend as he followed behind her.

Nami walks into Sunny’s shower with her boyfriend. “Bath or shower first, kitten?” Ace asked as he was about to turn on one of the faucets but wanted to know which one he was turning on. “Hmmm. Bath.” Nami answered. “Good choice.” He smirked as he kissed her temple before he walked over to the tub.

Usually, they would use their personal shared bathroom to shower and/or bathe together. Franky built a great bathroom with a good view of the ocean for them.

But they were having a water problem there, and the only shower/bath they could use was the main bathroom. Franky would fix it right away but didn’t have the proper pipes and had to go into town to an island they stopped by to get more supplies and relax from the seas for a bit.

“Why isn’t he using his own bathroom in his room?” Nami mumbled quietly yet annoyed. “The usual Luffy couldn’t hold it when he sneaks in the middle of the night for a snack…” Ace grumbled, annoyed. “Didn’t Franky give him a mini fridge?” Nami asked. “Have you met my brother?” Ace asked and reminded her what Luffy had always been doing. “I can’t believe I forgot that.” Nami said, all annoyed.

“Ah! That hit the spot!” They heard Luffy’s voice when the toilet flushed and the door to the toilet opened. “Please don’t come in. Please don’t come in.” Nami begged quietly for him not to come in since he was…as usual…an idiot. He isn’t a pervert, just a nosy asshole that Nami thinks of what he is.

“Eh? Is someone in there?” Luffy asked as he came by the door to the showers. The couple flinched by surprise. “How the hell did he hear me whisper?” Nami asked quietly. “Leave it to me.” Ace said to his girlfriend quietly. Nami stepped aside from the door as her boyfriend let her go.

What are you doing here in the middle of the night?” Luffy asked. “I forgot to shower, that’s all.” Ace said. “I swear that I also heard Nami in-OOOWWW!!!!!!!!” Luffy whined in pain as his brother pinched his nose and stretched it due to his devil fruit powers.

“Do you have to be nosy about what Nami and I do behind the door, which is just couple stuff? I didn’t nose with you and Vivi behind the door. Also, the door would be open, meaning it’s empty. The door would be close, meaning one of us is in there, meaning we want privacy. Have you also heard of knocking?” Ace asked. “I’m sowwy!!” Luffy complained. Nami chuckles at the interaction between her boyfriend and their captain, who are brothers.

The crew supported Nami and Ace’s relationship as a couple based on how happy they were together. They were the same with Vivi with Luffy and Sanji with Kiara. The couple was nervous about telling the crew since they were on the same crew. Nami was the nervous one, but Ace was confident about it since he knew a few people from his travels who were a couple and on the same crew. Luffy said he was happy for them and wanted them to be.

MEAT!!!!!” Luffy exclaimed happily, with his eyes sparkling before he rushed out of the bathroom to the kitchen again. “He’s fast…just for meat…” Ace said, surprised, while he watched his brother run off. He then closes the shower door before locking it.

“Is he gone?” Nami asked as she came behind her boyfriend and wrapped her arms around his waist. “Based how on quiet it is…coast is clear.” He smirks as his girlfriend’s hands travel to the tie knot of his robe before she unties it. He smirked as the front of his robe came undone.

“Shall we proceed?” he asked as he turned around and looked at his girlfriend, who had her signature cat smirk again. “We shall.” she said as she now wrapped her arms around his neck. Ace chuckled seductively before he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her passionately. He then worked his hands to undo her towel, and she did the same to his robe.

Day 5

Nami yawns tiredly while she sits up before she stretches her arms. “Didn’t get enough sleep last night, I see.” her boyfriend Ace says as he lies down next to her at the Crow’s Nest with his arms behind his head. “I’m just tired.” Nami smiles. “From last night?” Ace asks, chuckling teasingly. Nami then smirked when her boyfriend mentioned what had happened the previous night.

The couple went on with each other in the ship’s washroom before sunrise. They decided to go back to their rooms at around 3:30 a.m. when one of their crew members could take an early shower. Then, it was too late for them to go to sleep, so they slept in together before noon.

“That and…well…mostly that of what you just said.” Nami smirks. Ace chuckles seductively. “Come here, you.” He said as he pulled his girlfriend down by the waist to lay on top of him. She squealed as she lies on top of her boyfriend.

“New things, I believe…but I want to smash that lovely guitar of his when I’m trying to nap or work.” Ace growled quietly. “I agree.” His girlfriend growled quietly with him. “Yohohohoho!!!” The talented skeleton laughs happily. “Now, what the hell is he laughing about?” Ace asked. “I don’t know, and I don’t care.” Nami said, all angry, as she was about to get up and yelled at the skeleton to shut up.

“Hey Brook! Robin and I are going to play hide-and-seek in the island’s forest and also shop there! Do you want to come?” They heard Chopper’s voice. “Hontoni?! I’d be honored!!” Brook said happily.

“Arigato Chopper…” the couple said quietly as they finally got peace and quiet. It was a perfect day for that. Luffy and Vivi were in town having lunch. Kiara and Sanji were in the kitchen making tonight’s dinner for the Strawhats. Sheik went to town just to be alone. Zoro was taking a nap on Sunny’s head. Usopp and Franky were in town shopping. Jinbe went into town to be alone as well, like Sheik.

“Finally, peace and quiet,” Nami said. How does Zoro sleep through the noise?” Ace asked. “He’s a deep sleeper.” she answered as she lay back down on the floor with her boyfriend, who still had his arm wrapped around her waist and his other hand behind his head.

“Aren’t you one too, babe?” Nami asked her boyfriend. “Well yes, but some days I’m not.” He answered while slowly rubbing his girlfriend’s back. “You have been doing good at not sleeping in front of me, so I don’t mind if you fall asleep out of nowhere,” she said.

“Again?!” Nami asked, all angry. “I’m gonna kick his ass.” Nami said as she was about to get up from her boyfriend’s but stumbled as she stood up. Ace managed to catch her in his arms as he stood up. “Oi Nami?! You alright?” Franky asked, all worried. “She’s fine, just too much champagne on date night.” Ace assured the kind cyborg as he carried her bridal style in his arms. “Ah got it.” Franky said with a relieved smile before he left the room.

“Can you take me to Usopp so I can kick his ass?” Nami asked her boyfriend before she let out a hiccup. “Don’t worry about him love. We can continue date night in our room with a nice hot bath.” He said as he was about to walk out of the room with his girlfriend in his arms.

Ace moves Nami’s legs off his shoulders as she rolls to the other side. She then sits up before getting out of bed, grabbing her boyfriend’s button-up shirt that was on the ground that he had stripped off. Ace grabs a throw blanket that was on the end of the bed. He wraps it around his waist.

Nami then opens the nightstand’s drawers to grab her Clima-Tact. “Ah, Nami!” her partner Zeus, who was in the baton, says happily. "Shut up and do your job.” Nami growls angrily at her partner as she holds her staff up close to her face. Zeus gulps all nervous at his master.

Nami usually puts Zeus, who’s part of her staff, in the drawers when she gets intimate with Ace. She finds it weird like he’s staring at them. Also… he can be a pervert sometimes if he’s bored.

“Shall we?” Her boyfriend asked who was by the window. He saw his four crew mates fighting outside. One member was their captain, who also happened to be Ace’s brother. “Open it.” she said as she arrived before the window next to her boyfriend.

Just then, the Fire Fist pirate opened the window before he and his girlfriend kicked their crewmates’ asses. The fight between the four men stopped as they were knocked out by Ace’s signature power ‘Fire Fist’ and Nami’s Zeus Mace. They also knocked them out with their other fighting abilities.

“Aaaaaa…” The four male pirates grunted in pain and were on the ground, all beaten up by the couple.

“God, those four.” The couple sighed, annoyed, as they walked back to their bed. “Weren’t those your crew mates, Nami?” Zeus asked. “Shut up.” Nami said as she put her baton back in the drawers, to Zeus’ annoyance, as he was still part of the baton.

“How did you deal with them before I joined?” Ace asked as he sat on the bed. “Beat their asses, but it was exhausting. How did you deal with Luffy before you went to the seas?” Nami asked her boyfriend. “Oh, you know he’s a pain in the ass, but he is my brother. Yet brothers can be a pain in the ass still.” Ace said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Nami chuckles at her boyfriend. “Hm? What?” Ace asked as he looked up at his girlfriend. “Nothing.” She said while she made her way toward her boyfriend and stood before him. “Nothing? Then what the hell are you chuckling for?” The dark-haired pirate asked. “I’m teasing. You are just cute based on how you talk about your siblings.” She said as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He smiles softly at his girlfriend. “You are the same as well when you mention your big sister.” Ace said as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

She giggles as she leans down to kiss her boyfriend on the lips. “Do you know how much I love you?” she mumbles against the kiss. “Yes, and I feel the same about you a lot.” He mumbles against the kiss. The orange-haired navigator chuckles against the kiss before she then sequels happily as her boyfriend pulls into the bed. He pins her against the bed and kisses her neck as she giggles.

He chuckles befanden looks down at her sm,iling at him. Ace smiles down at her as well. “You are so beautiful.” he says before giving her a sweet kiss on her soft lips. Ace pulls away and looks at her. “I wish I could run away with you somewhere quiet.” The dark-haired pirate said. Cat Burglar smirks at him, and her boyfriend mentions that.

“Will thank your little sister for mentioning a stranded island the other day to Sanji and Zoro. I found one the other day that’s not too far from the island. Our only 24/7 for the week of peace and quiet. Don’t worry about the crew, Franky and Jinbe said we will be in this island for awhile due to the Marines and weather. So it will be just you and me for a whole week.” She smirked. Ace smirks at his girlfriend seductively.

“You and your talent with navigation is incredible.” He smiled as he gave her a peck on the lips. “Well, kitten…” He said he unbuttons the top that his girlfriend was wearing before slipping off of her completely. He smirks at her naked body. The blanket around his waist comes off, making him completely naked as well.

He looked at the sky longingly, but all he saw were trees illuminated by lights and a completely black sky. Then only the petals were left falling. There was no sign of any response, much less help.

He felt that he was about to give up, but there was nothing he could do about it.

The question that came to his mind came out involuntarily.

There is a peach forest within the grounds of Kaizumi Shrine. It's so close from there that it wouldn't be strange to see flower petals flying in the wind.

However, peach blossoms bloom in spring. There's no way it's blooming now, on the day of the summer festival.

As another mysterious situation occurred, Jingi stared at the petals that fell one after another. Suddenly, a wind picked up and the petals that were falling to the ground were caught in the whirlwind and bunched together. Then, the mass moved and passed through the torii gate located in front of the stone stairs. Then, he unraveled and floated with the wind.

Jingi, whose eyes were captivated by the fantastic sight that suddenly appeared, staggered towards the torii gate, following the flower petals. And...

"Ah...!"

He opened his eyes. Beyond the petals that slowly fell with the wind, something stirred in the plaza where the turret was located, where Jingi and Yukito had been a while ago.

As soon as he looked closely, he realized that it was a series of "figures". The people he thought were gone were there. In that case...Yukito too!

As soon as he thought of that, Jingi ran down the stairs, forgetting about the pain in his body.

A few minutes later. Jingi was silently hiding in the shadow of a food stall at the end of the square, resisting the temptation to jump out at any moment.

Beyond Jingi's line of sight, was Yukito on top of the turret. Yes, Yukito was there.

They haven't taken it completely yet. It is true that this relieved him, but it was not a situation that made him feel comfortable.

Yukito was sitting in a tower decorated with many flowers and fruits. The scene gave the impression that Yukito was being treated as if he were a god and, at the same time, it seemed that they were paying tribute to him.

Yukito's body stiffened with fear, which could be seen even from a distance, and he just looked down. That's probably the only thing he can do.

But that is to be expected. Dozens of "figures" dance in a circle around the tower where Yukito is, singing a song like this.

The song, woven by a voice that could not be identified as young or old, told people that they would take their "treasure" home once the festival was over. Considering the situation, there was no doubt that the "treasure" they were talking about was Yukito.

Naturally, he wanted to jump in and help him right away.

But this will surely be the last chance to help Yukito.

That's why he had to find ways to help calmly and steadily.

Jingi is already aware of how useless he is as a master.

But he made a promise.

(If you become my disciple, I will protect you.)

Hiding, Jingi repeatedly told himself to stay calm and look for something he could use.

"If I climb a tree and jump directly to the turret... it won't work. As expected, I can't reach the turret and there is no way to escape after jumping on it. Well then... I'll use the gas cylinder from there to set fire to the stall and confuse the "figure"... isn't that too dangerous? Besides, if the "figure" didn't care about the fire, it would only become even more dangerous..."

Although he has held several brain meetings again and again, all ideas reach a dead end.

"Master... what should I do?"

He couldn't help but want to ask for help. However, the voice still did not return. However, a pale pink fragment suddenly crossed his line of sight.

Also, those peach petals.

Thanks to those petals, he was able to find Yukito just now. So maybe those mysterious petals will guide him this time too. With such expectations, Jingi closely followed the fate of the petals.

However, without pointing out anything in particular, the fluffy petals landed in the ice water that was cooling the canned beer on the eaves of the food stall next door.

"Beer? What should I do with beer? Are you saying I should hand out alcohol and get them drunk?"

Jingi muttered under his breath, but even though he said it to himself, he still couldn't believe it was a good idea. Was it a misunderstanding that the flower petals were giving him clues in the first place?

As he let out a sigh without hiding his disappointment, the petals fell again, and this time they fell into the icy water next to him, where a plastic bottle containing a soft drink had been submerged.

For some reason, Jingi felt as if the petals were saying, "That's not true.".

And then he gasped.

What the petals point to is not beer or a plastic bottle.

"...Water."

To go to the festival, Jingi has been practicing the art of shaping a person into water and manipulating it like a water puppet since the beginning of the summer vacation. Then, he was able to control it so well that he could easily lift him onto his shoulders and Yukito with ease.

But it was all in vain because the teacher broke his promise. He thought that was it.

But... with that technique, it might be possible.

He peeked out from the position he was hiding in and looked around. If he looks closely, he can see water everywhere. Water to wash food. Ice that cools the fruit. And several drinks stall just like the stalls next door. With that amount, he should be able to make a water doll that can hold Jingi and Yukito.

But can he really hold Yukito and himself and escape the shadows using the Tsukeyakiba technique?

He could do it. The same amount of anxiety he felt was born deep in Jingi's heart. However, Jingi clenched his fists to suppress his anxiety.

He had no choice but to do it.

That's because Jingi is Yukito's older brother.

And above all, Jingi is Yukito's master.

At that moment he heard the horn of a train in the distance. The sound that seemed to be a response to Jingi's determination was different from the previous one, coming from the direction of Ninoshima and the direction where Jingi and Yukito needed to return.

It's time to pick it up. He was strangely convinced of that. Furthermore, he realized that he is the only one who can take Yukito to the train to return.

Having made up his mind, Jingi jumped out of the cubicle where he had been hiding and raised his voice as loud as he could.

"Man, earth and sky!"

At that moment, all the "figures" stopped moving and turned towards him all at once. While he received many piercing gazes from eyes that should not exist, Jingi returned his gaze to a single pair of eyes that were firmly present.

"Master!"

At the sound of the voice emanating from the top of the turret, Jingi's mouth lifted into a smile, and with all of his strength and courage, he put all of his energy into the spell that he had repeated over and over again.

"Water, do not fight for the benefit of all things, but face the evils of all people!"

The water in the entire square responded to Jingi's call and accumulated, forming a human figure while he solidified into a whirlpool.

At the same time as he jumped on the water puppet, which was growing in size, Jingi pointed to the turret where Yukito was standing.

Then the water doll did a little run and then took a big leap into the darkness.

"Yukito!"

Hearing Jingi's voice, Yukito in the tower climbed onto the railing and extended his hand with all his strength.

"Master!"

Almost at the same time as that voice, the water puppet controlled by Jingi landed in front of the turret with a loud bang, and then quickly picked up Yukito and jumped again.

It was then that the "figures" probably realized that their "treasure" had been stolen. They panicked and chased the water doll.

But they couldn't catch him there. As soon as Jingi landed, he used his water puppets to knock down the surrounding monsters and ran towards the station.

"Master! Master!"

Yukito, who was in the water doll's arms, screamed again and again.

"Yukito, I made you wait."

Jingi looked at Yukito as he paid attention to the figure chasing him from behind on the water doll's shoulders. Then, Yukito looked like he was going to cry, but he smiled with a look of admiration and relief, like when he was rescued by a hero.

"I thought Jin-nii-chan would help me!"

"Oh, of course. Yukito, you are my disciple after all!"

A brief exchange like that increased his courage even more.

When they ran down the long stairs that led to the station and looked ahead, the train was already waiting for them on the station platform. Then, he once again let out a short honk and slowly began to move towards Ninoshima, leaving the door open.

"You mean jump on it?"

They had to do it. Dodging the "figures" that attacked to prevent the two from escaping, Jingi increased the speed of the water doll.

And it was then that he thought that he had finally crossed the square in front of the station and jumped over the fence that separates the platforms while he ran parallel to the train. The water puppet stopped in midair.

When he looked at it immediately, he saw that one of the "figures" was holding the water doll's legs. If that continues, they will drag him back. The moment he understood that, his body moved before he could even think.

Jingi manipulated a water puppet and threw Yukito into the door of a passing train.

Whether it was because he was his older brother, because he was his master, or because he had made him a promise, none of that mattered anymore.

It just happened naturally.

"Eh?"

He could clearly hear Yukito's confused voice as he was sucked into the train door in an arc.

However, Jingi did not respond to that voice and simply smiled as always.

(I kept my promise.)

He tried his best to be a good master. Jingi let out a sigh of relief as the "figure" dragged him down.

However, what will become of him from now on? While he was thinking about that, something pink came out of the train.

"Ah, Haruaki-kun and Aka-kun. You were here, right?"

"Thank you for your hard work, Inou-san."

"Thank you."

The festival was coming to an end and the food stalls were beginning to close. Haruaki and Aka, who were patrolling the place, stopped when they were called by Sanji Inou, a member of the town hall who is a friend of their master Makoto Yanagi.

"By the way, I can't find Makoto. Do you know where he is?"

"Ah...um, I don't know."

"If he is my master, he will sleep in the administration tent."

As Haruaki awkwardly looked away, Aka said that as he pointed to the tent set up at the back of the stall.

"Is he sleeping?! Is he drunk again?"

"No... I don't think that's the case. However, just after the festival started, he entered the tent because he had something urgent to do..."

"When I looked inside a while later, I discovered that he was asleep."

"Eh?! During the entire festival?"

"Even if I call him or shake him, he doesn't wake up."

"Geez. What is he doing forcing them to work...?"

Inou couldn't help but look at the sky. And at that moment, the entrance to the store that Aka had pointed out before was violently opened.

"Wow, I'm so tired."

What emerged was a large, suspicious-looking man wearing an aloha shirt and holding a pipe... in other words, Makoto Yanagi.

"Makoto. What are you doing forcing children to work?"

"Oh, Sanji. I just finished work. Do you want to go out for a drink?"

"So you just finished your work? I heard from Haruaki-kun and Aka-kun that you were asleep."

Hearing those words, Makoto turned his attention to the disciples next to Inou.

"Oh, you guys are here too. Just in time. There's a kid at the station who needs a lot of work, so please go pick him up."

"Eh?"

"Child?"

"That's right."

That's when Makoto opened his mouth.

"Yanagi-san!"

A man dressed in a station staff uniform called out to him as he made his way through the crowd on his way home.

"Ok, let's go right now."

"Immediately...? Um, what happened?"

Inou asked the station staff, tilting his head at Yanagi's words as if he knew what was coming.

"In fact... While I was checking the inside of the train, I found two children sleeping. They are probably Yanagi-san's children."

At those words, it was Haruaki who let out a voice that was a mix of surprise and irritation, "Jingi and Yukito-kun?!".

"Probably... It seems that the staff at Ninoshima Station saw them boarding the train at night. So, I think they might have been sleeping on the train the whole time... I checked the inside of the train regularly, but for some reason I couldn't find them. I'm sorry."

"That is so weird."

It's strange that he couldn't find them even though he must have gone back and forth several times. When Inou bowed his head further, Makoto intervened: "No.".

"It's not your fault. I was the one who caused you trouble. Anyway, they're both safe, right?"

"Yes. We'll keep them at Minoshima Station."

When the station staff answered Makoto's question, Aka said, "I'll be there right away." and he took a step towards the station. Just as Haruaki was about to start walking after him, Makoto's voice rang out from behind.

"Ah. You two, wait a moment."

"What's happening?"

"When they wake up, promise to take them to the autumn festival."

Both Haruaki and Aka frowned at those words. It was yesterday when he made a promise lightly and then broke it and hurt Jingi.

"It's for real this time, right?"

When Haruaki looked at him suspiciously, Makoto shrugged and said, "I understand.".

"I'll have everything ready for the fall festival. Besides, it would have been more troublesome for them to stay home."

"......?"

Aka and Haruaki bowed their heads in unison, unable to understand the meaning of their master's words, but quickly left the place, saying that their priority now is to make sure their younger brothers are safe.

A few minutes later. When the two entered the station's waiting room in a panic, they found Yukito and Jingi, who seemed surprisingly peaceful, sleeping soundly.

Seeing that, Aka let out a sigh, half surprised and half relieved. Then, as he neared the end, he slapped his forehead.

"Hey, Jingi. Wake up."

At that, Jingi groaned, "Hmm...", and then stood up with a start, shouting, "Aaaaaaah...".

"Jingi, are you okay?"

When Haruaki looked at his face in panic, Jingi seemed surprised and asked, "Haru-nii?!" Then he looked around and asked, "What happened to Yukito?"

"Yukito is here."

When Aka responded, looking at Yukito who had not yet woken up, Jingi let out a sigh of relief.

"It looks like you had a very bad dream."

Haruaki gently stroked Jingi's head as he didn't seem to look at his younger brother. However, the person in question looked at Haruaki and said, "It wasn't a dream!".

"Yukito ran away from the monster and got on a train, but I couldn't do it. So I thought it wouldn't be good, but the peach blossoms burst out and enveloped me!"

"Oh, that's a great dream."

"That's why it wasn't a dream! It was really hard. We were at the festival site... Uh, what? So... what happened?"

He wanted his brothers to understand in some way what he went through. With that feeling in mind, Jingi tried to explain in detail what had happened to him.

However, for some reason, the memories that he had vividly remembered until now began to pour out of him as if he were grasping sand.

"I guess it was a dream after all."

As he muttered that to himself, his memory gradually faded.

And in that moment. Yukito squirmed, then slowly opened his eyes and looked around in panic.

When he saw Jingi, he shouted happily: "Master!"

At that moment, an indescribable feeling was born within his soul. It is a warm feeling that gives you strength, but at the same time it is also a painful feeling that comes with a sense of responsibility.

However, Jingi tilted his head, not understanding why he felt this way, and asked, "Master?".

"If it weren't for my master, I would still be in that place."

He must have been half asleep and said something wrong. Judging from that, Aka gently told Yukito where his father was, but Yukito tilted his head in confusion.

"It's not dad... I just... I thought he was calling Jin-nii-chan, but... I wonder why."

"Hehe, Yukito-kun, you're a little sleepy too."

"Yes... maybe so."

"First of all, being a "master" is not trivial."

Aka scoffed at him and Jingi pouted, "What do you mean?".

Haruaki and Yukito laughed at that exchange, and the strange atmosphere between the four of them collapsed, and the usual atmosphere began to flow.

"Yes, Yukito-kun too."

Unlike Yukito, whose expression suddenly brightened, Aka noticed that Jingi had a somewhat doubtful expression on his face, and when he said that, Jingi reminded him, "It's a promise.".

"Oh, that's a promise."

"Yes, I promise."

Jingi finally seemed to feel at ease after hearing the two brothers' words from him, and laughed heartily.

Then, Yukito's bright voice said, "Yes!".

"Hey, let's interlock fingers!"

"Interlock your fingers?"

When Aka bowed his head, Yukito continued speaking, his eyes shining even brighter.

"Yes! We promise that the four of us will go to the next festival together."

"Oh, great! That's a good idea, Yukito!"

"Wait. How do four people intertwine their fingers?"

"Ah... I see. It takes two people to intertwine fingers, right?"

Yukito lowered his head at Aka's calm comment. However, Jingi spoke up immediately.

"What? If we stand in a circle, we can interlace our fingers side by side, right? I mean, it doesn't really matter how we do it. This kind of thing is exciting, right?"

Hearing Jingi's words, Yukito's expression brightened again and Haruaki let out a small laugh.

"Well, that's true. Okay, let's do it."

Aka agreed and the four formed a circle in a corner of the station. The scene was strangely pleasant and Jingi laughed again. Then, he opened his fist, which he had been unconsciously clenching since he stood up to intertwine his little fingers. And in that moment...

Suddenly something slipped from his palm.

"Hmm? Is this a flower petal?"

"Peach blossom? Why do you have something like that?"

At Aka's question, Jingi shook his head and said, "I don't know.".

However, Jingi felt that the petals were somehow important, so he picked them up from the ground and put them in his pocket.

"Let's interlace our fingers as soon as possible. If we break our promise, we will receive a thousand needles."

Then, he laughed with his usual lazy face and intertwined the little fingers of both hands with those of Haruaki and Aka.

Yukito, who was in front of him, also intertwined his fingers with Haruaki and Aka's fingers.

"The four of us will go to the next festival together. I promise."

Everyone nodded at Yukito's words and chanted the spell in unison.

"Yubikiri genman, if you lie, you will receive a thousand needles. We are done with this."

The grounds of Kaizumi Shrine in Minoshima. At the back of the room, Haruaki Kurama was taking a breather with a cup of tea in his hand.

Today is the day of the Spring Festival. The priest, Haruaki, should normally be so busy that he would not have time to rest, but his trusted disciples allow him to take a break, so he can take a short rest.

He sounds good saying that, but in reality, Haruaki, who always gives extras every time an amulet is sold, is being ridiculed as a nuisance.

However, there is no doubt that his disciples are trustworthy. Looking at the disciples in the distance, who were interacting with many people on the temple grounds who were busy with the festival, Haruaki let out a small laugh.

At that moment, he blew a gentle breeze and something floated into the teacup.

Those are pale pink petals.

Now is the time when peach blossoms bloom. These petals must have been plucked from a local peach tree. Those has come a long way. When Haruaki thought about that, a promise suddenly came to his mind.

That was ten years ago. When Jingi was still a child and Yukito was even younger.

Jingi and Yukito, who had been forbidden to participate in the festival by their master, silently rode the train to see the festival site, but fell asleep on the train and were detained.

"Even now that I think about it... it was a suspicious incident."

It was almost night when Jingi and Yukito left the house. So why did they continue sleeping on the train without anyone finding them until the festival ended?

Why did Master know that the two were being protected even before he received the news?

And why was Jingi holding peach petals on the day of the summer festival?

However, there was no way to confirm those questions now.

Promises made later remain unfulfilled.

Shortly after making that promise, Shinoshima exploded. There, his master died and Yukito was sent to an orphanage on the mainland.

Yukito returned to this island a while ago, but it seems that he won't be able to keep that promise. At this moment, the relationship between the four people who had intertwined fingers without any suspicion had changed considerably.

First, he's probably the only one who remembers the innocent promise they made when they were kids. Haruaki thought about that and smiled, looking a little sad.

At that moment, he heard familiar words from somewhere.

"Yubikiri genman, if you lie, you will receive a thousand needles. We are done with this."

When he looked in the direction of the voice, he saw four children standing in a circle interlocking their fingers, just like Haruaki and the others had done before.

There were two children of middle and high school age. One boy was in the upper grades of elementary school. And there was a boy who looked like a preschooler.

Seeing them laughing happily together reminded him of who they were in the past and gave him an indescribable feeling.

Will their promises be kept?

Of course, Haruaki has no way of knowing what kind of promise they made. It may be an innocent promise between children. However, no matter what the promise is, Haruaki sincerely hopes that it will be fulfilled.

At the same time, he hopes they can still laugh together in ten years.

Once they were out of sight, Haruaki drank the tea to suppress his sentimental mood, murmuring a small "It's okay." and then he sat down.

It turns out that Haruaki is now the priest of that shrine. He cannot simply leave the job to his disciples.

Furthermore, Yukito is scheduled to come pick up Haruaki's disciples, Yako and Chatarou, in a while. He heard that the two of them, Yukito and a disciple of Aka will be touring the festival.

Although the four brothers could not keep their promise of going to the festival together, the children who follow their respective origins go to the festival together with Yukito.

When he heard that story, he felt as if the promise he had made back then had been conveyed in a different way, and that made Haruaki's heart feel lighter.

"Yukito-kun is currently trying to form a new relationship. That must be very rewarding."

To be honest, he felt alone. But he wasn't sad.

And Jingi is the only one closest to Yukito, both now and in the past.

"He seems like he's a pretty random master."

Haruaki laughed at his own words and began walking towards the shrine office where his disciples are.

Suddenly, the wind blew and some peach petals flew again.

While he contemplated that landscape, Haruaki made a silent wish in his heart.

"I hope Yukito-kun's first festival on this island is fun."

Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds Episode 1 Review: From The Creator Of K

Alright, we’re at the start of Summer anime. Here’s the first of the three I’ll be reviewing for this season. Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds has a slow start. It’s an introductory episode that tries to introduce the characters and what the plot is going to be about.

From what I’ve deduced from the first episode, it’s going to be a mix of supernatural and mystery. Our main characters will be fighting these Ara-Mitamas and then a bigger plot will happen. That’s definitely what’s going to happen. This is a GoRa anime. If you’re familiar with K, it's a little different from K as it has less characters and maybe a more concise plot?

The story is about Yukito Yanagi who graduates middle school and is moving back to Ayaka Island, an archipelago of seven islands and where he was originally from. He doesn’t remember much since he left the island at five years old. Yukito has unusual supernatural powers that manifest when his emotions are unstable. Because he had hurt someone in the past, he decided to maintain a distant demeanor just so he doesn’t get too emotional. Yukito seems like the typical gloomy MC, but I do like what I see from him right now. All I want to know is whether or not he’s adopted and what his true origins are; I think the plot will get there. From what I’ve seen, he’s going to train to be a Ley Master as it is the focus of the show.

Unfortunately, he meets a green-coded man named Jingi Sagawa who was tasked to take him back to Ayaka Islands. He’s a menace and I hate his guts. First off, this man waits for Yukito in front of his middle school piss-ass drunk and then he has the AUDACITY to push him off a bridge. Once Yukito’s powers activate because he got riled up, Jingi then shoves him in his magic bag and then once he comes to, he’s on a boat to an island. I’m surprised Yukito can maintain his composure because I’d be on the verge of murdering this man if he ever those stunts on me. When they’re on the island, Jingi continues to be annoying as he shows off his skills to kill the Ara-Mitama, turns out that it’s still alive, so he proceeds to THROW Yukito into the monster just to get him emotional in order to defeat the monster. He deserved that drop-kick. I don’t care if he was trying to help Yukito; he’s mean and annoying. It’s supposed to be considered funny, but it’s not. I hate Jingi already.

The only other characters prominently introduced are Momoko, the landlord of Yukito’s father’s property, and Inou, the mayor and Yukito’s legal guardian. Momoko’s so cute. I love her design. She also needs to beat the snot out of Jingi on-screen because he deserves it. I want to see more of her. Inou seems like a nice man too. I need to see more of the other character to give a full opinion. The Mitamas are cute.

The animation isn’t anything too special, but it’s pretty. This is a GoRa anime, after all. Look how pretty K was. The scene where the rural nature of the island was shown was very gorgeous. I think GoRa has improved with the animation quality. If GoRa does things right, maybe this can be as big of a hit as K was.

I think what draws me to this anime the most is the mystery. Why does Yukito need to return to the Ayaka Islands? What’s the secret of his birth? Why was he escaping the island with young Jingi at the time? What are these Mitama and Ara-Mitamas? The fact that I see so many questions makes me want to continue watching them to see how they will be answered.

The opening is sung by Angela, who sung the opening for K. Check out her song for K, Kings. It’s super good. 

The voice acting is good. All I know about Yuto Uemura is that he voiced my favorite Luminaria character Lucien, but he does have a good grasp of sounding young. Takuma Terashima voices Jingi. I do like how well he changes from flippant to serious when the scene calls for it; that doesn’t make me hate Jingi any less. Momoko is voiced by Saori Hayami. I mean, it’s Hayamin; her voice is distinct. However, I do wonder what sort of role she’ll play. You can’t just hire Hayamin and not have to voice someone minor. Nobuo Tobita voices Mayor Inou and I’m surprised he was voicing him; I didn’t recognize his voice. Oh and Yukito's father is voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda, who makes a return from K (he voiced Mikoshiba in K).

All in all, I’m curious to see where this anime will head off since this is a GoRa work. I do have some expectations as I enjoyed K. I’ll be tuning in every Saturday for this show!

A Week of Positivity: Sunday - Character Shippin' (Bleach and OP)

Sunday - Today, as part of my ‘week of positivity’ I’m going to discuss the other character ships that I’m fond of from the Bleach and One Piece series and WHY I like these pairings. They’re all kinds of pairings, and these are just a handful so that I’m not obnoxious with a crazy-ass list. ...and I shouldn’t have to say this but I know how people can get: of the pairings listed here these are not the only ones I dig, there’s more but my complete list is too long.

THERE ARE SPOILERS IN HERE, YA BEEN WARNED.

As most people who follow along with the stuff I make can tell...I am 150% a GrimmIchi fan and I do a bunch for shipping them in the fandom as fanfic and fanart as well as some LawKid(d) stuff but there are lots of other great pairings and never in my life would I actually say that I can ONLY see a specific character with one specific other character Never. I have too much of an imagination. So here, a window into my thoughts on character ships:

- BLEACH -

Ichigo Kurosaki and Renji Abarai - After briefly being enemies Renji and Ichigo learned to be friends and to trust each other, now they empower each other’s confidence, will and stick together tight as glue. I think the king pin that drives my brain into ‘these two could work as more than friends’ even by their canon selves is the fact that they’re always ragging on each other so hard and physical contact (fights included) is a part of their relationship. I dunno they’re such close friends and it’s a real signal between people when they start getting handsy and teasing excessively.

Renji Abarai and Rukia Kuchiki - As we learned in canon, and if you look for hints in older Renji’s behavior, Renji gets a little crush on Rukia when they are younger and this seemingly never goes away. Rukia enjoys Renji and stays around him and considers him often. They are side by side as they grow up. They see loss together. Grieve together. Celebrate success together. Eventually fight together and get back to each other after Rukia is adopted and goes through hell from her adventures in the human world. The bonding that Rukia and Renji go through in canon is absolutely grand and they’re very close.

Orihime Inoue and Ulquiorra Cifer - As a romantic pairing these two characters would sweep me off my feet. Orihime’s possession of heart and enduring caring and courage with Ulquiorra’s awkward need to understand the heart just blooms before it ends in canon. Orihime seems to be the most understanding of Ulquiorra in the end and Ulquiorra has a strong interest in her displays of heart. The essence of that would be an extremely meaningful relationship to develop more.

Renji Abarai and Hisagi Shuhei - I have no good excuse for this other than the fact that they’re aesthetically pleasing together and have similar personalities that I think compliment each other. Bod-mods and bisexual bros [with benefits] for life. They have some interactions but I’m not even going to justify this ship based on their canon relations because they are both clearly the most interested in boobs in canon.

Soifon (Sui-Feng) and Yoruichi Shihoin - *screams into the mic* I KNOW IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE JUST A GIRL CRUSH BUT THIS SHIP IS PRACTICALLY CANON ALREADY. Soifon has a very real admiration for Yoruichi before and after they settle things following Yoruichi vanishing from Gotei and leaving Soifon to fend for herself. Yoruichi is cheeky enough to play into Soifon’s admiration by teasing her and actually seems to care about her in canon. My brain likes the idea of them taking that close step over from girl crush into more. It’s cute! WHAT?!

Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez and Ulquiorra Cifer - ...just because they can’t stand each other in canon. They would make a wonderfully awkward and volatile pair trying to get along and constantly provoking conflict. Struggles and interactions can bond people more as well as being on the same side kind of forces them to interact in canon. The difficulty it would take to fold these two together and the volatile prospect of their relationship is just savagely appealing. A good challenge is not a bad thing and overall I imagine this pairing as extremely carnal.

- ONE PIECE -

Roronoa Zoro and Sanji [Vinsmoke] - They’re shipmates......pun intended. Zoro and Sanji share a playful relationship as their canon selves and they’re quite funny setting each other off. Despite the fact that they drive each other crazy they still give a damn. The heart behind that inspires thoughts of - what if it became more? You could ship these two easily in anything from crack to flat out romance or wild AUs because they’re not afraid to bust some balls or act with heart.

Trafalgar [Water D.] Law and [Vice Admiral] Smoker - Can you say...enemies to associates with benefits? Skinny, sinister and cutting (HAHA, PUN) Law is and if there’s one thing he likes to do it’s being a thorn in select people’s sides as well as destructive. It’s chaos and destroying the system, and who better to buckle Law in with than a person who can barely tolerate chaos and broken systems? Smoker is a serious and gruff character and he only cooperates with pirates when he has to (even though I highly suspect that he has respect for select ones thanks to the Straw Hats). Smoker is also on the side of ‘justice’ so he essentially fights for systems that Law would go after and has infiltrated before. They might seem impossible but I think that challenge of finding situations to blend them with their conflict or contempt is complex and interesting.
